the hotel charged my credit card for the stay when i had already been charged by the online booking service and the hotel also charged the online booking service and i have yet to get assistance resolving the matter. i talked to two different people who have told me two different things. When i asked for a copy of my receipt they sent me a blank receipt. When i checked out, i was told the total charge to my card and then told "oh, i wasn't supposed to tell you that". They had asked me to pay again, saying my credit card was declined. When i got home, my credit card statement said otherwise.
i enjoyed the hotel thought it to be a little pricey but was right down town beautiful city large rooms great beds free internet parking not connected to hotel slow room service
The location was great A couple of mornings, coffee in the lobby was left over from the night before
Great location, right next to Monument Circle and in the midst of restaurants and shopping. Hotel and room were very nice and very clean. Breakfast buffet was excellent (does not necessarily come with every room, but came with our reservation through Booking.com). Pool was nice, but small.
We liked the friendly staff from the minute we walked into the lobby- everyone was very helpful! The hotel was within walking distance of everything we wanted to see and do! Fabulous weekend!! We never did get the comfort beds to work but slept ok anyway!
The air conditioning in my room went all the way down to 50 degrees, which was definitely the highlight of my stay.
Front desk staff was fantastic. I left my Ipad in the car that was valet parked and they retrieved it in a flash! Connor, the valet supervisor, gave excellent directions for walking to Mass Ave. and was very cordial. Room was very quiet and the bed was so comfortable. Would absolutely return to this hotel!!
Great to be within blocks of all the activities on monument Square. All employees were very nice and accommodating.

The staff was great. They helped us plan our night when plans were changed and they gave us amazing advice. One reason I picked this hotel was to enjoy the pool and it was closed for cleaning.
This is a beautifully restored structure bathed in old world opulence. The staff were very very informative and inviting, including the doorman who very politely and professionally requested I remove my hat. the physical location on the square was nice and convenient for foot commutes. I should have read beyond the description of the building before making a buying decision. We were in town on business. I didn't realize this is foremost a private club, and as would be expected, has most of the rules and pretentiousness associated with such an establishment. Not a bad thing, just didn't fit with the purpose of our stay. Condition of the room was so-so, broken lamp, uncomfortable shower, no water pressure. We weren't able to dine on site due to dress code which was unfortunate.
The location was amazing. My King Delux matched expectations and the facilities were in good condition. I didn't encounter any of the issues with outdated plumbing, silly addenda, etc. It was a very nice place for $80/night - I'm looking forward to staying again. There was a hiccup in pulling my reservation over - but the staff took care of it. The exterior door is locked at night. You have to dress at a certain level to gain access to some areas of the building - which I didn't plan for. Overall minor things.
Comfortable beds and clean. Terrific location. All the soda and juice machines (vending) were out of order and the juice machines at breakfast were as well. Not a drink to be had. Staff should have gotten individual water and juice and provided esp after the high rate of football weekend.
It was convenient to everything downtown They still need to keep updating the rooms and the hotel and elevators
Rates were lower than other downtown hotels like Westin, Mariott etc., Also the availability of a $5 taxi to go downtown Pet friendly hotel: though I didn't see any guests with dogs/cats, the rooms had the smell of pets,
The staff were outstanding. Literally everyone I interacted with was beyond helpful and welcoming. I cannot express enough how accommodating the front desk was and how hard working the cleaning staff were. The bed was comfortable and the room was spacious. The biggest issue was that our heater in the bedroom was not working properly. It was either on high heat or off. This resulted in us having to turn it on/off several times throughout the night to maintain a reasonable temperature. This was not pleasant when having a newborn with us in the room. There was also a huge hole in the wall by the toilet that was covered with a door that doesn't shut. Also, the juice being "out of order" for our whole stay as in convenient.
Staff were *very* helpful and pleasant. They went the extra mile to make sure my trip went smoothly even after my airline didn't. The room was clean and I had a great stay.
Staff, location (walking distance to the fieldhouse! Elevator was tiny! We were lucky to get four (without luggage) into the elevator.
The hotel is in a great location and our room was clean and comfortable. Very friendly staff. The wifi didn't reach to our room and the overflow parking was in an inconvenient location.
