Location is very central, close to the beach,2 min with Vespa and 5 min walking distance.Shopping, restaurants, and night out places are all nearby as well.Very friendly staff, nice modern decoration, large hotel(was impressed, thought it was smaller).Breakfast is also complete, very international.Nice swimming pools, relaxing. We had to stay 3 days in a Suite before we moved into a standard room and there we had just one problem:the bathroom.Suite was large, nice, quiet, but the bathroom had poor light and the bath tub was clogged(we asked to be fixed, but apparently it didnt help whatever they did). The Standard room was better.Had a large shower and the light was good.
location and atmoshpere No king size bed avaialble although already put my preference.
Good for surfers not good for families beach club is a joke they have 6 sunbeds!!' Really noisy no soundproofing
The hotel was very clean and well maintained We booked a king bed and on check in were told they didnt have any - no room for compromise
The hotel staff were courteous. The breakfast - very oily food and not much choice. A lot of flies and coffee hosue is just in front of main road so very noisy.
Clean, lovely breakfast area and buffet, pool recliners always available, no towels left on chairs for hours so no-one else could use like at some hotels. not met at entrance when first arrived.
The staff were very nice to our two children ages 18months and 3 and were very quick to help out with them. This hotel is very quite and its easy to relax and unwind. The hotel could maybe buy some new dining furniture as it is dated, also the rooms have no tea and coffee facilities for its guests and is turned off in the dining room at 8pm.The owners of the hotel should buy some new kitchen equipment for their staff as they do a great job with poor equipment.
the room was realy nice, the stuff was good. Roomservise is ok but not exellente the breakfast was poor
Just 10 min walk to the beach and just out of the centre.
The best part about staying in Villa Dina Bali was the location as it was in a peaceful area which gave us a very relaxing holiday. The only thing that was mising was not been able to make a cup of tea or coffee in the room,
the garden was nice. the room was simple, suitable for sleeping only, and the shower room smells so bad.
Quiet and calm atmosphere, staff always available to answer requests from clients. Ideal place for vacations.
the landscapes breakfast menu. Cannot find any protein eg egg, ham at all! all the food are carbo (bread, pancake, fried noodles, fried rice, white rice) please improve on it.
No shuttle bus pick me up at airport.A bit far to Kuta beach
too far away from everywhere
The hotel has nice rooms, garden and swimmming pool It is 30 minutes far away from the nearest beach in a quite ugly and empty neigourhood. Part of the stuff was not useful at all. Shuttel bus just to pick up at the airport and at least 5 persons.
Staff cheerful and polite but can be trained to be more attentive, some misses like no beach towels and leaving coffee cubes and cleaning materials in the room after servicing. F&B excellent. Staff still not into the details of a 5 star resort.
The indulgent staff and the absolutely awesome food. The restaurant staff knew about the food on the menu and made sure their recommendations were informed ones and not random guesses. The villa hosts also made sure we are comfortable and even went to the extent of trying to find a booking in hotels near the airport when we told them that we were interested to stay there instead of Alila because of the early morning flight we were supposed to catch. I expected the villa to a bit more private. People from the beach and the lawn in front could clearly see into the villa living room and pool which according to me doesnt make for a very "private" experience. The bath tub was decorated brilliantly the first night but since me and my wife were too tired we had slept off that day, the second day when i requested the hotel staff to decorate the tub once again, they refused to do so. I would have loved it if it was one single person who was called the villa host. It was not that the service was bad, Kadak did an excellent job making sure we were comfortable and looked out for, but still it would have been better if we were talking to one single person all through the trip.
The staff was genuinely friendly and the service was outstanding. The remote location meant we could still experience Bali as it once was. The rooms were great but the cleaning could have been more thorough, especially the bath rooms. The palm trees planted by the hotel did not withstand the windy location and looked terrible, distracting from the otherwise great setting.
Amadea was in a good location on Jl Oberoi (i.e. eat street). The staff were friendly and helpful and the rooms were clean and modern. We stayed as a group of four in two twin rooms and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The pool is nice and has a bar for cocktails during the day until 6pm, so great for relaxing with friends. Breakfast is served in a restaurant that is linked to the hotel at the entrance, and had all the options you would expect. Overall a very good hotel in a good location in Seminyak (although not close to the beach - 10-15 min walk away). I put in some dry cleaning in to be done by the following evening which I was assured by the staff would be done before we all went out at 6pm but unfortunately it was not. I had planned to wear one of the items but as it was not back in time this was obviously not possible. This was quite disappointing and I ended up having to buy something else to wear. Other than that one small blip it was a great stay.
All staffs are GST! Greet, smile and thank you! Best resort in Bali. We booked our stay via kayak and when check in, was told by receptionist that breakfast is not included in my package which have been confirmed by agent kayak. I showed them that my booking is inclusive of breakfast, I then emailed to kayak but no response from them till date. Rimba is really nice, after check in, receptionist called and said that the resort will extend breakfast to us for the our stay in Rimba. The staffs at Rimba ensure that whatever request you have will be fulfilled at their best possible. Not that I can think of..
The hotel is absolutely stunning, with modern, tasteful and luxurious finishes. It is connected by frequent tram to its sister resort (Ayana) and to a private beach. It's a little out of the way from Jimbaran itself, and requires an inexpensive taxi ride to and from town. Food at the resort is good but expensive. The spa is astronomically expensive by Bali standards, although it is in line with Western high end resorts. The Rock Bar at the Ayana (for which Rimba guests get priority access) is a lifelong memory (although VERY expensive). The staff are extremely friendly and willing to help. The beach is beautiful. Location is quite convenient to the airport. In the early morning, it was only about a 10-15 ride. Honestly think it was our one-time bad luck, as opposed to a constant problem, but the air conditioning in our room could not be adjusted, even after we called for technicians to come and "fix" it. The temperature in our room hovered between hockey arena and cold-freezer. Made for poor sleep in an otherwise very comfortable room. Also, despite all the attention, the hotel managed to forget about giving us a promised wake up call. Fortunately, I set my own alarm just in case. But if I hadn't, we would have missed our early morning flight. The beach is very beautiful, but it's not for swimming. There are lots of big waves and big rocks, and the red flag is probably out 99% of the time. All in all, despite the shortcomings, I still believe this to be an outstanding hotel. Well worth the money (and priced much cheaper than many hotels that are likely comparable in quality).
The hotel is in need of a slight upgrade but it is big, clean and safe. It was a fair walk to our room from the reception area, but the grounds are really big and well maintained. The pool is also big and great if you have kids with you. If you want to sight-see, renting a car is really cheap, I think that we paid $* U.S so the parking facilities is a bonus. \n \nIt is only a few minutes from the airport, but cabs are so very cheap that it does not make too much diffference where you stay in the area. All-in-all, a reasonably good hotel.
Nice and clean room, very lively place! My TV didn't work however I didn't even mention it as I was on holiday and never in the room
younger crowd, good to party with. terrible stay, strong smell of feces and urine outside my room, only solution they offer was to move to worst room. When first arrived, my room was leaking and they had to move me to sister hotel 30 min away, upon my return the bathroom smells of mold and feces, very unsanitary environment. Hotel staff basically threatened me with violence and offers prostitution. and why would you make a section asking about what I don't like about this hotel and then tell me not to use it for complaints. I will never use booking.com again.
cealn, good and freindly staff this is the worst comminication experience i had. Holiday people dont have time to go to reception to connect internet. very very poor service a for 4 star hotel
The hotel is able to accomodate the whole familiy in 01 rm (04 pax) The breakfast buffet could do with more varieties , especially local food.
Friendly and helpful environment; welcoming and cosy lauout. They catered for our special vegetarian breakfast very well. Please my name is not dr. Sanderstead but dr. Jain
This was my second visit to Alam KulKul, and I completely enjoyed it. The staff are very friendly. It is a very quiet place to stay, even though you are close to the craziness of Kuta. I always book the Lanai room. The lanai rooms overlook the pool and are lovely. I noticed in some reviews that the hotel had bed bugs. This scared me a bit this visit. The good news is, that the hotel addressed the issue and treated the rooms. I talked to the front desk manager about it, and he was very honest and explained that they took care of the situation, bought new mattresses, etc. I saw the fumigation signs on the doors. I was impressed that they owned up to the problem and dealt with it.
it was a nice boutique hotel situated in a very good spot on the beach at Kuta. Kuta has become somewhat of a very busy place now much different rom whenI went there 30 years ago. it is now busier and more cosmopolitan. As such it was great to return each day to the peace and solitude of the Alam Kulkul.
Bad atmosfeer, poor facilities !!!!!
The location is good - only a short walk from the main beach in Kuta, but if you dont want to walk you are in a perfect spot to tant without to much passing traffic. I had to check out earlier than my intended stay, as I had problems with the hot water in my room. It got so bad that I complained 3 times and could not shower or bath if and when I wanted. I eventuallly checked out and went down the road to another hotel for the last week and a half.
Staff were extremely friendly
Room cleaning started very late in the afternoon.
The location was fantastic, close to the beach, close to shopping and restaurants but far enough away to get peace and quiet. The hotel staff were very friendly and accomodated a request to change rooms because we wanted a double bed not two singles. The hotel is perfectly suited for older couples and families because there are no groups of "yobbo's"
