Excellent value !!
I liked the that it was in a location where there were a lot of things to do close. Also, the manager jnesa was attentive and understanding to my not so good experience. One of the staff members, From the name he had on his badge was Orlando, but it also said Music under that name, was not the most pleasant when I arrived. Then, our room had the toilet broken so we had to call the office that same night we arrived twice and it still was broken because the toilet chain inside kept falling, the phone inside the room wasn't working, they brought another one and it still the connection wasn't working at all, there were roaches in the room, the walls had a couple of dents and cracks, when I went to press "sleep" on the tv's control, instead of setting up the sleep mode, it would take me to an adult channel which I did not want to even see that, the beds were small and the door in the bathroom would be so close to the toilet that would rub my legs when I had to close it.
I liked the location, and the price. This hotel is showing it's age. Elevators are slow, and noisy. My grandson wanted to swim in the pool, Monday morning, but it was dirty, full of duck feces, and I would not let him. I checked out at 10:00 am, in time to see the hotel's pool guy show up.
We decided to stay one extra night and made the arrangements the night before directly with the hotel. However on the next day at about 4:40pm we had to leave, and asked the hotel manager if we could get charged only 50%. She said it was not possible. That was surprising considering check-in is usually at 4pm and they could have easily charged us 50% of the rate from the night before or 50% of the rate of the extra night that we did not end up staying, yet paying full rate.
The rooms are great, spacious, very comfortable beds and bedding. Location is right down the street from Universal. The breakfast is also top notch. Parking is kinda tough because a lot of folks don't adhere to the 1 car per room rule. But the front staff and security are very friendly and helpful in trying to help with this.
The building looked nice and new but there's rooms were anything but... The staff was really nice. The beds were pretty small
The hotel ran out of parking spaces one night of our stay due to guests parking across multiple spaces and asked us to park in a handicap accessible parking space (we are not disabled and do not have a hangtag on our vehicle). The hotel refused to find alternate parking and refused to enforce its policy that guests could not take up multiple parking spaces with one vehicle. Staff was incredibly rude about this and insisted that it was better to use the accessible space and prevent its use by persons who needed it than to wake up a guest who had violated hotel parking policy. When I insisted that I would not park there staff became very rude and dismissive. I ultimately had to squeeze my car in between two cars violating the parking policy and risk damage to my property to avoid breaking the law with respect to the accessible parking.
Pretty environment Not a single breakfast.
the view the courtisy
The location The concession is pricy
Nice staff Iffy restaurant
Close Access to all attractions The daily $4.50 charge should be more transparent. Was not on website and was not sure why it was mandatory. If everyone has to pay it then include it as part of the room price.
Location, location, location. Plenty restaurants, entertainment and convenience store within walking distance. Bathroom could be updated
Room was clean and comfortable. Near a lot of things to do including the Sleuth's Dinner Theater and CSI exhibit. Narrow walkways to upper level rooms. Timeshare salesperson in lobby.
Associates were pleasant and helpful The room was mostly clean especially at eye level but a little lower (baseboards) and corners were less clean and I came across 2 bugs in a 2 night stay
The room was clean. Free parking, free breakfast. There was a large refrigerator and microwave in the room. Restaurants within walking distance. Shuttles to parks and the conference center. Great value.
Reasonable Price. Great location. Comfort, Cleanliness, Above Expected Level of Service, Pool and Pool Side Equipment Was In Good Condition. Can't think of a single thing.
Breakfast was nice Slow internet speed
My children love the Mickey Mouse waffle iron at breakfast! We stay at this hotel every time we travel to Orlando, mostly for this reason! The complementary breakfast is great, and the hotel is on walking distance of some great restaurants. We had a little trouble with the AC this time--we were either too hot or too cold--no in-between.
Convenient to pick up city bud, trolley, or go on foot to convention center, eateries and shopping. Small room, not enough lighting, rattling fan when switching on bathroom light. I was on ground floor, next to outside ice machine. If you go to bed early or want to sleep past 6:09 AM, try to get a different location.
I liked the Very clean room comfortable bed, The guy at check in desk was very friendly and informative about the complimentary shuttle to Disney world and universal Orlando and about where we could have breakfast the next morning. Was a Great experience!
Very nice and accommodating staff. Furniture and rugs need replacing. Breakfast area crowded and breakfast items limited and not well maintained. Pillows terrible. Did not have a clean feel. In need of major rehab.
The Location. There was a construction site across the building and it was a lots of dust in the air.
It had all the right features like Fridge, Microwave, shuttle to parks etc. Very Dated property. Sheets were very old. Bath tubs was cracked. Shuttle to universal parks was very limited.
I liked that it was close to my job interview and was affordable. I didn't like the customer service, the staff assistance, room had flies, my rooms keys did not work, I had to wait over 30 minutes to get into my room because my keys didn't work, the manager made me walk back and forth with my luggage because he said he was too busy to fix my key issue at my room, the stay was unpleasant and I would recommend this hotel to anyone.
Lack of towels and washcloths. Several nights without either.
I enjoyed the location, it was close to a lot of places that were walking distance. Things not working in the room, after asking for it to be fixed and not resolving the problems. Housekeepers just walking in your room. No hot water when showering. Front desk seem to have a attitude while checking in. Toilet was hard to flush and dirty walkways.
Location was great! Room was clean. No hot water, no towels. Moved to another room, still not hot water. Staff was overwhelmed.
The YMCA No washcloths, staff act like they didn't know what was going on, constantly changing front office staff, maids were rude
the fact that this hotel was right across from the eye of orlando, and close to universal studios. i was given a 10$ starbucks coupon for the hotels lobby cause of my no hot water problem. parking, NO Hot Water... the handle was broken so in the shower all you could have was cold and colder. when checking in the customer service was not great seeming how it took a half hour to check me in for something so simple, the fact that you have to keep checking your phone while checking in customers, come on dude...
The location had good proximity to restaurants and attractions. The dead bolt lock on our room door did not work and all the room doors lead directly to the outside like a motel. There was clear evidence of a previous forced entry through our room door. You can hear everything around you through the walls and room entry. People talking, luggage being rolled, kids running around, leaf blowers blowing. There was also standing water in the shower, shower knob didn't work great, linens feel like hemp, and most of all the room door that doesn't lock!
The location to many attractions was appealing. Had to move out of 1st room as a/c didn't work. 2nd room we moved to wasnt much better. The shower handle was broke and was set to hot water. The bathroom door looked like someone left their dog in there and it shred the door pretty good. The blankets were stiff and the room smelled very musty. The a/c didn't cool off the room until the middle of the night. The pool is a long way away and there was NO ice machines in the building. You had to go to the hotel next door! Do not waste your money.
Facilities are outdated, no working elevators, lobby is on next hotel but poorly indicated, when we get to the room, there was no towels and had to call to get some stained old ones..
The price of $45 per night is definitely reflected in the way the hotel is managed and maintained. The staff tells you what you want to hear just to get you out of their face and never resolves your complaints No hot water in the shower some days, no refrigerator in the room, running toilets broken sink handles, jacuzzi didn't work, pool was ice cold
Pool and location Rooms, first room had no hot water and AC was broken these are just the major issues. We were given a comp and room change. The second room had a bad smell of mold so we had to keep the door closed at all times. Check in location was difficult to find.
Everything was great, even with the weather so bad. It was a shame we had to conceal some stuf, but Thank you. Will be back Jeff S Was limited , a shame
The staff was excellent... Called about an early check in, and when i arrived my room was ready by 10:00 am. i was very grateful. The pool area was fantastic and the Memorial day activities were great for my kids. We Will definitely be back.
I especially liked the amenities & cleanliness of the rooms. I liked all it has to offer. It was a true joy to vacation there!
I'm usually much more of a boutique hotel person, but I was meeting up with friends for a night and having a villa meant we could have another person sleep on the pullout couch. I am so glad we ended up here! It has the benefits of a resort without feeling too commercial. The pool (there are four but we only made it to one) is large and beautiful. There are games set up at the pool, a waterfall, and a pool bar. The staff is unbelievably friendly and helpful. They give every guest a courtesy gift. It was so comfortable, we ended up not going out and instead getting a bottle of wine and relaxing on our large screened in porch. I highly recommend.
Cleanliness, facilities, proximity to Disney parks Noisy fountains, slow service, lack of tennis courts and kids entertainment.
nicely appointed villa suite, updated and very clean. attentive staff, easy access to facility
The resort in general was beautiful and very well kept! I hated the early morning phone calls, it interrupted my sleep(which I love to do in Vacation). The "timeshare" crew was aggressive and I don't like that AT ALL! Also, the overall staff were amazing! However, the cleaning and maintenance were not so much! Crew Driving the club carts were speeding and reckless majority of the time and the cleaning crew were extremely loud in the morning hours! I actually had to get out of bed to ask for them to not yell across to each other! It's was quite frustrating and for that reason alone I may not return! It's unfortunate because it's a beautiful place
This was our second stay and again we had a great time. The pool is amazing. The staff is friendly. There are separate area's for children which is nice when your not staying with a child. The rooms are so spacious. And the hotel is less then 15 minutes away from everything, IE theam parks, shopping, and dining. The only issues we had was there isn't any real way of telling which kind of room your getting. In our first stay we were in a room with a whirlpool and we believed we were staying in the same kind of room. We weren't. The room we did stay in actually smelt a little dank, wasn't as spacious, and the tv had terrible reception.
We stayed in was a single room with separate bedroom and sitting area, it was clean and the bed very comfortable,. We used this as our home base for traveling throughout the area and only stayed on the property three half days around the pool. There were enough utensils in the kitchen, fridge was clean and the convection microwave was a good addition. We elected to not have room service so the washer and dryer was also a good addition. Overall the room was comfortable for two people. It was also good that they had a quite pool, however you need to get there early if you are to have any chance of one of the poolside cabanas. We stayed in building 10 on the fourth floor , the building backs onto a very busy noisy road. There was a very limited amount of washing detergent, shampoo, soap etc.. They should just add a couple of dollars to the cost of the room and supply an adequate amount of toiletries etc. The TV was so dark it was very difficult to watch any program . We were informed that there was no brightness adjustment on the TV it was an auto select feature, also informed they had numerous complaints and were in the process of replacing them. We only used the small hob for cooking twice , it was okay but mainly used it for boiling a kettle of water for a cup of tea. The exhaust fan over the hob vents into the room so all cooking smells stay in the room. Had breakfast at the on site restaurant it was average, staff were very nice.
Spacious rooms, comfortable bed, everything including cooking utensils and washer and dryer provided. There was a live cockroach in our room.
Had a great stay, plan to stay there again.
Love the villa and the attentio to details
location No microwave
Too expensive for the cost
The staff were great and quick to help out. The hospitality staff were great and cleaned and replenished towels. The hotel was right across from the entrance to universal and the shuttle bus was great and dropped you off right inside the park. The blankets on the bed were thin and there was no complimentary breakfast.
We chose this hotel because it said "at entrance of Universal Studios". .. And it really was! We were able to walk straight on Major Blvd and turn left on Universal Blvd and joined the throng of ppl walking on City Walk. That was the best part! It was clean and not dusty, and the two queen beds were so comfortable. The only downside were the thin walls. We could hear what was going on in the hallway and our neighbors on either side (most unnerving was the couple getting it on against the wall where the heads of our beds were at 6AM!). Thin walls - could hear everything going on outside and either side of our room.
Close proximity to Universal The facility looks old and need some new paints and touching up.
Staff friendliness Restaurant has very limited options and is more expensive than the value provided
Easy walk to the park. Nice pool and hot tub. Breakfast buffet is expensive at $18.95 per adult but only $6.95 per child. Also, you have to pay for parking.
closeness to universal. pool was nice & food was good & waiters were great. Our room was not cleaned for 2 days. First day has to call for bottled water, 2nd day had to ask for room to be cleaned and clean towels, bed was not made. Third day only bed was made.
Location The smell of mildew
I've stayed at this Doubletree before and always seek it out when possible. It is literally across the street from Universal Studios, and the staff and Collinas have always been on point. Cathy greeted me at the desk with warm cookies and better customer service than I expect these days. She was very sweet. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The view from the room is never very good. It is definitely a place to sleep, but with all of the goings-on in Orlando, there is no reason to stay in a hotel room for anything else.
Loved the location! 10-15 min walk to the park along a shaded sidewalk. There is a Starbucks in the lobby which is always convenient. The beds were very comfortable, although the duvets were not particularly nice or soft. The interior of the hotel is not up to par for ~$200/night. The halls had a strange, musty, moist smell. The porcelain of the toilet was severely scratched. The towels were scratchy and thin. You are definitely paying for location with this hotel.
The chocolate chip the give us is delicious and location is good The room was not good. High prices por breakfast and parking lot. Staff not really excited about working.
really close to Universal and Wet and Wild only one shuttle to Universal
Almost everything Elevators accessibility with the card
Stayed only one night so we did not have the chance to use all facilities but it was a good first impression.
The room smelled so bad and the sheets were not clean Bad hotel
very clean and hotel staff were very nice and helpful, ideal loation for wet and wild adventure park.
The hotel was very central, everybody was extremely friendly including staff and guests. There was a fridge and a microwave provided which were extremely handy when travelling with a toddler. The vending machines in the hotel also provided drinks at a cheaper rate than the shops. The hotel provided a safe place to store luggage after check out. There was an adjoining door in our room that led to another hotel room.We could hear absolutely everything from the room next door. House keeping was fantastic the first week but very lazy when the staff changed over the second week.Glasses weren't replaced, floor not hoovered, toilet paper not provided, bins not emptied etc.The freezer in the room didn't keep food frozen, all melted very quickly.
Ubicacion muy buena, buen servicio es recomendable para pasar vacaciones y visitarar los parques pq Queda cerca de los diferentes atracciones. Deben incluir en el desayuno más obciones.
The quietness The pillows are to big, the air conditioner did not work very well and the refrigirator either.
Quite a basic hotel but the staff were helpful and polite. Comfortable and good size room.
It was convenient for where we needed to go whilst there, within walking distance of Universal. Breakfast
Pool is nice, great location There are two buildings; one is new and the other is in desperate need of updating. Sink handle fell of whilr washing my hands. Maintenance came in and put it back on telling me not to move it so much. There is no fan in the bathroom and parts of the celing and starting to come off. The AC unit is also extremely loud and does not cool the room. Be sure to request the new building cause the old one is terrible.
The staff was wonderful. They helped us in every way possible.
Facility and staff are awesome! I was asked to move my car both days due to bus parking.
Staff and rooms were nice. Beds were a little small.
Good price Good location for conference center Super friendly staff Free Breakfast Free wifi Free shuttles to Disney The room smelled weird and musty Loud (I was on the 1st floor)
Location to my event The parking was horrible
The staff is very friendly, they repeatedly apologized for our fridge problem and offered us to keep our food in their private fridge. Free breakfast! They have a variety of foods for both adults and young kids. Cereals, granolas, eggs, bacon, pancakes, mickey waffles (you make them yourself but its fairly simple), bagels, fruits, apple juice, orange juice, coffee, and anything else I might've forgotten. My main reason for booking at Best Western Plus by the Convention Center was for the decent driving distance from Magic Kingdom (20 minutes away) while having a good price and free breakfast. They also have a pool and gym equipment, I didn't use either of them but it's a nice option for other hotel guests. Overall I would stay here again, if there' s any problem the staff is so friendly and tries their best in finding a solution. Really enjoyed my stay here! Our fridge wasn't working when we arrived but the staff sent a maintenance guy the next morning and we had no issues with it afterward. There was a slight damp smell in our room when we arrived but leaving the air conditioning running the whole day got rid of the smell.
No complaints. Staff were All great.
Comfy bed and free breakfast great for a short stay, location isn't too shabby either
Room was great and the staff were exceptional! Great location and plenty of parking. I will definately go back.
Small, but clean. Very friendly staff and cleaning crew. Breakfast decent and well stocked.
Location was great, felt safe in hotel, was over all clean Beds are hard as a rock. Need some updates just typical things. Bring your own shampoo, conditioner they don't leave you any.
The bathroom was nice and large. Comfy. Clean, ac worked well hot water was nice. They allow the delivery drivers to bring the food to your door. Restaurant within walking distance. Walls were thin. Had to ask for towels. Park shuttle only run once. So you have to go and come back when they do so forget being at the park after dark. Free breakfast was just toast and juice, not exaggerating here the set a loaf of bread out. There's a fee for aminities. Parking is a mess, it's free but it's all over not convient for your room location. Staff was indifferent.
Proximity to Attractions and restaurants. The hotel is very outdated. One of the two elevators wasn't working. It was 4th of July weekend and the place was slammed. We only had 2 towels In the room when we finally made it up there. Housekeeping phone was busy all night. We ended up going to the front desk, and they only gave us 2 bath towels. They were out of all other types of towels, so we didn't have any hand towels or bath mat, etc. We asked for an extra set of sheets. They were out of those too. Our room was not cleaned the following day. They just dropped off another set of towels. For as busy as the hotel was, and the amount of money that they are making, they should have been better prepared and it should have been cleaned. The staff was friendly, but clearly overwhelmed. It's just mind blowing to me that a city that relys on its tourism business doesn't make more of an effort to keep 'em coming back. I, for one, will not be going back. I wasn't expecting much, as we were only going to be in there to shower and sleep, but at the very least expected it to be clean, and provide us with clean towels. Very disappointing considering it's part of the Radisson chain.
Room was clean Front desk staff were rude. Never heard of early check in fee @ 2:00 in afternoon. Upon check out there was no staff @ counter at all.
Proximity to the YMCA and restaurants Floors smelled like smoke, breakfast -not very much fresh food, keys had to be replaced many times.
The room was clean and we'll msintained. Breakfast was not complimentary but it costed me 8 dollars for a buffet which was the worst I ever ate in Orlando with limited items and tasteless food.
The hotel is in a great location The 4pm check in
Location was great convenient and good restaurants close by
Our family couldn't call us, as there is no phone number for the resort listed anywhere that they could find
Room was a great size, bedding was luxurious. Neighborhood surrounding resort was excellent. Lots of top-quality local & chain eateries, plus shopping, all in safe, open area marketplace setting. Quiet at night, great for families, business & singles. I was extremely impressed. The in-house bar & grill was being renovated. It looked to be a fun watering hole; I was disappointed I couldn't get a cocktail/snack on arrival.
I had 2 rooms. The room keys deactivated after 10pm on the same night of checkin. They ran out of towels. They didn't have any face rags. They also didn't have any lotion or conditioner and when asked at the front desk for these items, was told to purchase them from the gift shop. Was just an overall unpleasant experience and WILL NOT STAY THERE AGAIN.
I liked how the rooms looked. The location was excellent it was close to everything. The hotel was very clean. 1St off when i got there to check in they couldn't find my reservations, after waiting for 45 mins they were finally found. I was put into a room i left to go to a football game i made it back about 11:30pm i was wondering why my key wouldn't open the door so i went to the front desk to only be told that as soon asi left they rebooked my room and gave it to someone else then moved me to another room that was stanky old and dirty. After about 20 mins of the manager sitting there saying she was gonna throw us out of the hotel because i was pissed she finally put us in a better room
The finishes are terrific and the artwork is a very nice touch. The staff was very courteous.
Great hotel! Wonderful staff! Very good food! An overall excellent experience!
It was nice having the opportunity in the evening to "escape" from the Mickey Mouse atmosphere and to enjoy downtown Orlando. The food at the restaurant is quite good for international standards. The staff at the restaurant is very kind but not fully professional.
the room was beautiful the fire dept outside my window
Decor, staff efficiency, central location, staff friendlyness, unique atmosphere No
CLEAN STAFF FABULOUS TOOK CARE OF NOISE VERY QUICKLY, IMPRESSIVE! Everyone in the group agreed the beds were horrible. Appeared comfy but we all had aching backs... OVERPRICED!!! ROOM SERVICE PRICE RIDICULOUS! No place to get anything we might have forgotten to pack. No little gift shoppe for little stuff... We heard from others in our party the buffet was lousy, so we skipped it although we prepaid for 2 days...
Good location, with nice rooms. There're is no shuttle to the airport, A one way taxi ride was something like $50. So I ended up renting a car.
Our family loved staying here!! We stayed one night when we first arrived in Orlando and then stayed at another resort hotel down the road due to a conference. As soon as the conference was over at the other hotel, we rushed back to Caribe Royale because we loved the King Suite room! Great space and there was also privacy because a door divides the living area from the sleeping area. Our family loved the pool areas too. Fun slide! Customer service was great and the price was affordable. We will stay at Caribe Royale again when we visit Orlando.
Excellent Service, Clean, and beautiful. My family and I really enjoyed our stay.
Close to attractions They charge an extra fee if you use one of their services. We were charged $22.44 just because we ate at one of the restaurants.
As a traveling business man, I've stayed in many hotels, this was one of the best experiences my wife and I have had. We will come back for another visit. Could use help with loading and unloading travel bags and such. We called for baggage service and they never came to assist us.
We really liked that it offered everything and you really had no need to leave the hotel The restaurant was not that great and wayyyy overpriced!
The whole experience
Hotel Room and Ammenities. Room service from the hotel was perfect! Excellent food for a great price. Staff was super friendly and made sure our stay was great. Intersection getting to the hotel was very difficult to get thru. The beers at the bar were really overpriced, and the front desk took forever to pickup.
Good value. Large comfortable rooms/suites. Resort fees!
Kid friendly, great pool, nice layout of room Shower did not drain properly
The pool area very nice view . Breakfast buffet is excellent. Convenient to all parks. Lack of parking no valet parking not enough chairs at the pool pool over crowded no adult area at the pool. Rooms are noisy. Kids could be heard running up and down the hallways at all hours of the night.
Very clean! You could hear everything from the rooms next to you.
- Great front office staff - Excellent concierge - very fast elevators - The coffee in the room was great - TV in mirror was great (yet it did not change channels or volume correctly) - housekeeping evening service was excellent when I called for more water and coffee - comfortable bed - fast operator responses and efficient over the phone - centrally located near OCCC. A lot of walking is needed as the area is massive - Great restaurants near-by - beautiful pools yet the weather was unfortunately too cold to swim - Took a long time to get hot water in the shower during my 4 days stay. - Bathroom cleanliness was not the best I have seen. I always noticed an odor and felt it was not fresh and fully sanitized - The TV in the mirror did not work correctly and seemed to hang up when i try to change the channel or raise the volume - I had mold in the shower grout, yet this was fully cleaned on the 3rd day I was there. - safe battery was weak and barely opened to get my stuff out. Then it did not work afterwards. - TV had an issue and did not work on my 3rd night. I called it in yet I did not get a tech within 50 minutes to fix it and i had to sleep in the afternoon before going out. When I returned late at night the TV was fixed. .
Location, fitness center, quiet for sleeping, concierge lounge staff always excellent Inconsistent service, changes in amenities that weren't disclosed, communication issues between different areas of the hotel, when issues raised, staff didn't do anything
Everyone from the front desk (Deon) to housekeeping (Marie) staff was very helpful, kind, and good humored. The hotel was super clean and comfortable. And the decor and artwork really were all in good taste. My stay was too short!
I believe her name was angelica at the front desk she was so knowledgable and extremely kind! Made checking in easy and painless. The resort few that was not mentioned in the third party booking. Which the staff advised to book through the hotel next time.
Great accommodations, room was large and clean, staff was very helpful, and several food option at the hotel. Parking was expensive and walk to car was a bit far but was expected.
It is a nice property and we really liked the pool area. When we checked in our first room smelled like old dirty fish. They moved us to another room and the AC unit was leaking into the carpet. This cause the carpet to wet and moldy and also smelled terrible. We ordered room service one night and when they knocked we said "one sec" and when we got the door he left and took the food with him and had to go hunt him down.
great room, excellent technology. resort fees and the parking fees were way high. $18 to self park $27 to Valet
Cost for parking (non-valet) was extreme... about as much as the theme parks. Was not amused that cost was hidden when booking, almost 20% of the cost of the room. room & facility was clean and professionally run.
The staff was very nice and attentive. The hotel and room were very clean. The property was very nice. $20 per night self parking is a bit much if you ask me. self parking should be included already considering the already somewhat generous price range and if not included well at least a bit cheaper
The location is near everything you could imagine.
Staff was very knowledgeable and veryhelpful. Room was dusty on the counter tops and desk. A bit of a surprise. there were other pieces of debri around, but not really bad, just surprising from other trips staying at Hyatts.
That hotel is definitely a good choice while staying in Orlando for a few days. Not many restaurants around the hotel.
The customer service at check in was delightful and the room was incredibly comfortable. I had to wake up at 4am and received a cold (slightly below lukewarm, not ice cold) shower even though I let it run for several minutes. When I complained at the front desk, he did apologize, but I would have appreciated an offer of a discount of some sort. At 4:30AM, though, I understand staff does not always have the energy or authority to address a situation.
The room, the staff, and the breakfast were great. Weird smell in hallway. Loud fan in hall. Must have just deep shampooed carpet m.
I do like that it was an easy drive from the airport, and wasn't particularly difficult to find. There was not enough parking. I had to park off to the side, though this apparently wasn't a problem. The room was a bit older, though still very functional. The wifi didn't work at all in the room.
Location of room near pool and outside access. Breakfast was plentiful and good. Black mold on the ceiling of our bathroom. Bathroom too small, had to get in corner behind commode before you could shut the door! Got a good deal through Kayak, would never have paid the rates quoted to me when checking in. 2 star rating.
Stuff was very professional and helpful. Facilities is dated and in need of updating and/or repair. Ex. Loose wallpaper at 3rd floor elevator.
She told us she could give us complementary late check out. No charge I was charged 20 and the cleanliness of the lobby and room needed tending to. The bathroom area had dark hairs throughout and the sink was extremely slow to drain. The sink and shower fixtures felt like they might come off in your hand if you weren't extremely gentile with them.
Hide a bed was broken with flat mattress and mattress was falling apart.
We were told that a van would pick us up at the airport in approximately 10 min. So we hurried to the pick up spot. We waited for a Ramada van for an hour. We did not realize that Windam was the same as Ramada. It would have been less frustrating if we would have been told to watch for Windam and/or Ramada van. The room was comfortable but needs some updating. We could not turn the tub faucet off and it constantly ran, the wall paper was coming off in places and there was an odor in the hall.
Distance to and from the airport. Everything else. The room was small (after a request for most spacious room). Didn't get the room that I requested even after receiving confirmation via text message of my request. The noise of the ac inside the room next to the bed was terrible. I could here people upstairs flushing the toilet I could here people outside in the hall. There is no peace!!! Terrible place for $133.00 per night!!!
THE BED, THE SHUTTLE TO THE AIRPORT, VERY FRIENDLY RECEPTIONIST AND BUS DRIVER ROACHES IN THE ROOM, ROOM SMELL HUMID, PROBLEM WITH A/C AND THE BAT TUB CLOGED, FILLS UP WHILE YOU TAKE A SHOWER
Very close to the airport, great beds, large rooms and convenient shuttle to the airport. The hotel, besides the lobby, is a bit in the old side. Hall ways are a bit dark, room decor could use an update, as well as they are a bit dark as well.
Close to the airport. Great shuttle service to the airport. The room was warm even though the air was turned down to 63 degrees.
Very friendly staff, enjoyed restaurant options both at Waldorf and Hilton next door (also liked the golf cart to taxi us back and forth). The pool was amazing- attentive staff, family friendly, very relaxing/luxurious.
Extremely quiet and confortable. Size of the rooms. Outside snack/restaurant service on the balcony overlooking the pool was far too slow. Same for breakfast service when not in "buffet" formula (outisde week end).
The hotel was clean, beautiful, perfectly located and top notch in every possible way. The only thing that out shined the hotel amenities was the staff. The staff went above and beyond to make our vacation special. The staff always greeted me by name from the first day I arrived. I also want to thank Steve (bell hop) for providing exceptional service and making me and my daughter feel like we were the only guests staying at the hotel. I can't say thank you enough. Rachel (server) was another wonderful staff person who went out of her way to make us feel like special guests. Thank you for helping create a lasting memory of a wonderful vacation!
The hotel was beautiful, inside and out. The staff were nice. Our room was very neat when we arrived. The A/C in our room was set to 65 the entire stay and the coldest it got down to was 74. Something is obviously wrong with the A/C. Not all the channels on the TV were watchable. The HBO channels said "no signal". The parking situation is a joke. You have two choices: pay $30 for valet parking or self park for $20. Those are your only two choices. They then add on a $30 resort fee. Also plan on paying for EVERYTHING!!!!! I went down to the lobby to get a cup of coffee and was told a CUP of coffee was $6!!!!!!! I'm sure there are other extra charges that I just didn't see but either way, the ones I listed were enough to annoy me.
Very clean hotel, excellent and friendly staff. Overall great experience. Close to Disney. Price
Nice hotel, comfortable beds and v helpful staff. Restaurants were v expensive
Nice room, very friendly and helpful staff! The shower leaked and it's not a cheap hotel
Leaving! Don't Stay! Not much class just a dirty standard room you can get just about anywhere for much less and still be around Disney property. Oh and the beds are a joke... Worst Mattress Award. Over priced parking and was told that is a major hike to self parking (which is $10 less) but it is in fact about 5 minutes to the front doors. If you are hoping to stay in class you might want to consider the Hilton that is attached for a better stay (I was they last year). I would rate Waldorf Astoria a standard 3 Star Hotel.
I fell in love of the landscape., so lovely.. Maybe a twist in the interior design. A little bit more contemporary.
Nice and pretty new Hotel. We could sleep well, too soft matters apear not orthopedics....after one night we decided to moved to other hotel....
Very friendly staff, spacious, comfortable room, clean, super close location to disney. Busy highway, but we felt comfortable walking by sidewalkd to close-by restaurants. We ran out quickly most mornings and although they did have a sit down restaurant in the hotel, we would have appreciated light breakfast option.
stay was comfortable.amenities were more than adequate for the daily room charges.location is good with a wide variety of restaurants nearby.cleanliness of the room was excellent. staff were not coperative in cancelling a single day of stay .i had booked initially 7 nights and i wanted to cancel a single night since i was touring other places in USA and was falling a little short of schedule.tour operators for theme parks near the frontdesk are extremely dodgy. In the guise of offering cheaper tickets they subject the guests to forceful and aggressive presentations of buying propertyin orlando.i had a very bad experience since 1 day got wasted.i would be wise next time but i can imagine numerous travellers with their families and ob a budget being subjected to the guiles of these unscrupulous agents. In this particular experience i was subjected to 4-5 agents at orange lake properties literally breathing down my neck
The hotel was comfortable , clean and had a relaxed atmosphere.I would certainly stay there again.
The design of the room Location, Getting in and out of the hotel sucked
The spacious lobby, corridors, room, the atmosphere, White linen on the beds. We have already reccomended this hotel to friends and companys.
Sense of luxury in lobby and in room. Comfortable room and beds. Excellent TV with good selection of channels. Great staff at front desk. Unhelpful tourist desk, totally bias, unless willing to go to sales presentation for Orange Lake Resort.
The relation price quality was pretty great. The location was also terrific. There are lots of restaurants and also some shops, including a 24h supermarket nearby (in a walking distance from the Hotel). Beside that the hotel wasn't too far from Universal Studios (we payed $24 one way, by taxi), from Premium Outlets (we payed $11 one way too) and also from Downtown Disney. The shuttle service worked well and was, most of the times, on schedule. The pool and the jacuzzi were great for a relaxing moment after all the adventure on the parks. I truly recommend it. The sleeper sofa was not that comfortable. It's more appropriate for children.
This Hotel is very good, less price and enjoy more comfortable trip! None
Lobby hayır olmadı
location,hotel staff,comfort nothing
Fantastic hotel. Swimming pools and jacuzzis and water slides are excellent. Room service is very expensive.
Loved the lazy river! Great recreation options onsite (lazy river, pool, fire pits, tennis court, putt-putt, pool bar/restaurant). Good location and public transportation options. Room was right across from fire station with sirens at all hours. Low water and toilet pressure. No balcony, kitchenette, or table and chairs. Food and room a bit pricey. Mini fridge difficult to find-hidden in dresser set.
They charge and booking.com too
The hospitality suite was nicely accommodating. Evidently, I had to forfeit the kingsize suite for a set of double beds to be adjacent to the hospitality suite. However. In the hotel's defense the upgrade was not made until arrival, and it was a Sat.
Do not buy Disney ticket from hotel!
Convenience of location to meetings and comfortableness of rooms. Enjoyed the swimming area, very nice. I think you need a Restaurant that is more affordable that the ones located at the Hotel. One that offers Lunch Buffet and Dinner. The Marketplace was ok for breakfast.
Tv in bedroom did not work well, and room was tough to keep cool.
Actually there staff were so friendly. The hotel has every thing you would look for include different types of entertainment. The only bad thing at this hotel is that you have to pay for everything include the business center.
The room, pool and staff. The food was good however it was priced way too high. $60.00 plus for two hamburgers and fries is out of line.
Close to convention center. Great pool for kids. In room bottled water $5.00! Stop at the 7-11 down the street and stock up.
This was the most amazing family friendly hotel I've ever stayed in. It is also a great place for business and travel. The perfect place for everyone. Staff was amazing. Pool view is spectacular. We are still shocked at how wonderful of a place this was for such a great price!
I like the cleanliness of the rooms, the jettub (although small), and the continental breakfast (especially that they let people take it to their rooms - that was so convenient for us with small kids.) The sofa bed in the living room was a nightmare(they should consider 2 double beds in the guest rooms instead of 1 queen or those short twins. There were no activities for kids or kiddie pools. Even though they have a sign for spa, there is no spa in the hotel.
Spacious, fully equipped suite that was close to everything but still quiet and very clean. Free (wired) internet access was great, but wireless connection would be more convenient.
Excellent, spacious accommodation No restaurant. Breakfast room and choice of food unacceptable. Staff lack local knowledge - foreign students mostly.
Washer and dryer in the room. Pricing is a scam, they make you pay for everything including housekeeping fees and resort fees.
Location, size of condo plus kitchen appliances etc To pay additional for a full clean
The amenities were more than sufficient. Rooms could have been cleaner.
I had trouble with the reservation as they thought it was for a 2 bedroom. I had a reservation for a 2 bedroom then cancelled that and made it a 3 bedroom. I checked with the resort before I got there and the error was discovered. I showed up and the error was still there. The front desk did fix the problem and put us in a 3 bedroom at the rate quoted in the reservation.
Very nice place every staff member I spoke with was so very nice at breakfast the family next to us had a sick toddler they got her cold rags for her fever got her disposable thermometers to keep up with baby temperature did everything they could to help this family that was not from USA great place to stay clean food was good staff was great. Shuttle to sea world was easy we will be back here
Very comfortable for the price. Separate shower and toilet rooms made very useful for our large group. Breakfast was delicious, great for recovering from an all day music festival. Would stay again for EDC next year! No available smoking rooms.
Loved the fact that the shower was in a seperate room from the toliet. The breakfast was great. The staff was super wonderful - extremely helpful with directions and suggestions.
Advertised shuttle to Univeral but only ran once per day. Not very flexible for families. Only a few miles away so would expect a better schedule.
