Value and staff Boiler went out and we had no hot water, and the phone didn't work.
The change in breakfast from the dining room to the foyer was poorly done. The room was not cleaned daily during out 4 day stay. The ice machine was not working and the coffee on our room was not resupplied daily.
I liked how close the hotel was to Busch Gardens. I liked the price. The bed was comfortable. Our TV did not work. At least two of our lamps did not work. And, due to unfortunate circumstances, there was no breakfast in the morning. Very disappointing.
The price It was dirty , no towels ( I called the desk and they made me come get them) the tv only got 1 channel since we didn't have a remote and the bed was broken in the middle, the complimentary breakfast was to run until 10 am but they never restocked it at 9 or 9:30so my choice was cereal but no milk or bread prisoners get better choices WE WILL NEVER STAY THERE AGAIN!!!
Nothing It was filthy. The room had mold. The hallways were disgusting and with faulty light fixtures and fire alarms were dangling from the ceiling. The pool had a woodplank in place of a broken window, and the hotel is NOT administered by Ramada.
Our room was clean, but coffee and soap were not replenished daily. It was a short drive to Williamsburg. We were gone all day to Jamestown, Yorktown and Monticello so the clean place to sleep mattered most. The hallways and elevator were hot and dirty. The pool was old and icky too. There was no AC in the lobby and hallways, only in the room.
The hotel was pet friendly and fairly priced, pretty clean too. I used to be a housekeeping manager so I learned a long time ago not to go shining black lights around. The staff was excellent with our dogs and very friendly. The hotel is mintues from bush gardens and colonel williamsburg. Rather loud bar scene in the hotel, which was fine we were there just Friday and Saturday night, the club goers didn't act like fools or anything, just be prepared fornthat if you are traveling with your family.
The location was very convenient the indoor pool was a savior from the rain THE HOTEL WAS DIRTY there was an accident At the entrance with 3 cars that wasn't removed for hours while the staff was friendly they weren't very professional. They were out of uniform or in unclean uniforms.waiting to check in took over an hour i honestly didn't stay I just cancelled my reservations

Nothing To make it short, I booked it through KAYAK and when I got there they told me my reservation isn't there and its at a different date. I showed him my reservation and confirmation but he wouldn't do anything about and said it wasn't their fault. The attitude and manners were horrible.
The staff was working hard to help with all the issues Checked in around 9:30 pm from being at the local theme park all day. Noticed the hallways didn't look like they had been vacuumed in a while. Roomed looked ok but 10 pm was not the time to find out we didn't have any HOTWATER. We let it run for 10 minutes then called the lobby. They said due to recent work we needed to let it run for another 10. Well that didn't help at all. Called back and they gave us a new room on the other side of the hotel with no problems. The next morning while at breakfast i heard several others complaining about the cold showers. i know the breakfast is complimentry but hard boiled eggs, cereal, oatmeal and waffles was the menu. Everyone was eating waffles because well really hard boiled eggs?? They had 1 waffle maker and it didn't always work correctly. The lady in charge was working very hard to keep everything clean and working. When you walk outside that's when you notice the flowers beds was overgrown in areas. My overall stay was not great and we will not suggest this place to anyone. The employees we encountered were great the hotel was simply in poor condition.
Not much! It was quiet. Convenient to great breakfast diner (Shorty's) and Food Lion 1) So much staff that did absolutely nothing 2) Bartenders that were clueless (staff too!) 3) Cleanliness of rooms = 0, maybe a .5 4) Front desk = sooo s-l-o-w 5) Was there for an event - food was late, then kept running out! Everything was cold. And did I mention the bartenders were clueless?
