Staff courteous and helpful, amenities (cheese/fruit @ tea, to go bags, sweet and savory breakfast items with protein) were bountiful, coffee excellent with mild and BOLD option. Right on street car line, out of touristy area, public transport connections r easy to make. Room was spacious enough, bed was ever so comgy, shower head options were very effective Yikes! Roomwas by ice machine and elevator shaft. It worked for me bec. I needed to be up and out. Were i on a pleasure trip that early am HUMMMMM would DEFINITELY be a room changer request.
Very nice room overlooking St Charles Ave. Very helpful staff.
The staff was very professional. Continental breakfast left much to be desired but coulis is just around the corner and is a top notch breakfast restaurant. Best hotel in uptown as far as I'm concerned. Still a bit pricey despite not being at full occupancy.
The breakfast was nice. Loved the lemon water touch. Bed was more comfortable than mine at home. The hidden taxes. I asked for the total amount when booking so I would be prepared. My bill was $55 more than I was quoted.
I was very impressed with the style of the hotel. It had a home feel to it by them giving you actual keys to the room. They would keep your key while you was gone out for the day or night. But overall a nice place and we will return on our next trip. Nope I enjoyed it.
The atmosphere and decor.
Location and historical building No room service, have to call and wait to have ice delivered, lobby is a loud and crowded madhouse on weekend nights with partiers lined up to get in elevator to go to rooftop bar.
Original old school feel, was totally caught off guard, we was amazed
Character and location
Cleanness, decoration, and friendliness of staff
It's history the staff was very pleasant and my room was wonderful No
everything was amazing! the staff was amazing, the room was beautiful, the location was great! Would definitely book at this hotel again!
Beautiful historic hotel, very close to many downtown locations. Large spacious room. Only one key was given to us and the replacement fee for lost key was $250.00
The character of the hotel. It was originally built in 1927 and recently was renovated but it kept the charm of its age. The price we got for the room allowed us the luxury of staying there. Pricing if alcoholic drinks were too high even for St. Charles Ave.
Good location No towels in our room. Staff agreed to get us some but it was the next day before we got them. Our room was cramped, but I think this was due to the fact that it was a handicap room, the bathroom was huge.

loved the convenience to everything in the garden district and magazine street our room and bathroom was clean and well made, however, the carpet had not been vaccumed-only on the left side of the bed and was still not vaccumed during our 3 night stay-even after requesting maid service-I just put down towels-carpet had grass and debris and king size bed had very worn spots were people had slept that had worn mattress down-Oh, there seemed to be only 2 tiny elevators that hardly fit you and your luggage-and housekeeping had to use same elevator-very inconvenient for them and guests.
Everything except the little water pressure in our bathroom sink. Little water pressure in lavatory
