聖安東尼酒店 - 昂古萊姆

On the banks of the Charente close to the Angouleme train station, the Sure Hotel by Best Western Angouleme, Angouleme, France, is a three-star choice for business or leisure, a ten-minute walk from the heart of the hilltop city. With a classic, elegant decor, the hotel keeps a gym, a seminar room, a car park, and a leafy patio, and the spacious rooms come with en-suite bathrooms and wireless internet, a comfortable base for a stay in the Charente. Angouleme is known across France as the city of the comic strip, host of an international festival each winter, with painted walls and museums to match, and its ramparts give long views over the river and the surrounding countryside. The vineyards and cellars of Cognac sit a short drive west, the paper and image museums recall the city's printing heritage, and the Charente itself invites a riverside walk or a paddle. Up on its ramparts, the old city looks out over the river and the green Charente countryside.
