Disappointingly substandard

Location is OK and complimentary tuk tuk to Silom Complex helps

The filthy state of the Bandara Suite we booked. Mould in the kitchenette, mould in the shower, and over powering smell of must and mould in the second bedroom and the general dialpidation of the kitchen itself and furniture in general. It’s clear why Bandara are running almost permanent ‘sale’ and ‘special offer’ campaigns. This building is, on top of being neglected, one of the noisiest we’ve ever stayed in. Every door slam reverberates through the building and noisy drunks arguing at 4am mean no sleep for all bar one night. If you like listening to your neighbours inane chatter or being woken up multiple times in the night then the paper thin walls of the Bandara Suites are for you. You’d better hope your not located below an incontinent guest as you’ll hear them peeing in the loo too. Given there are loads of serviced apartments in Bangkok you’d have to be mad, or desperate to book Bandara. We travel to Bangkok twice a year and have done for 15 years. This is without doubt the dirtiest and least well looked after property we’ve stayed in, everything in grimy and dirty. Look out for CLEAN written with my finger on the 22nd floor dust. We’ve stayed in some pretty grotty 3 star establishments in Bangkok over the years. Bandara Suites Silom joins them as never to be repeated ‘experiences’. Bandara Suites Silom boasts a 4 star rating. We can only assume the inspector was blind. Avoid.
