The Room are new and with good furniture.They are big compared to the New York Standard. The bathroom as well is enough big and everithing is very clean. No noise even if near to the constructions of the wtc. 3 different metro near to the hotel in 200m. Good free WiFi. Public pc with printer available. Free fresh water on every floor. Complimentary breakfast is fair, but few choices and not refilled. Time for breakfast is short (07:00 to 09:00 am). Breakfast room is small and not equipped with tables: they are still finishing the hotel (Dec 09/Jan 10) and then there are only armchairs with small tables on the side. Staff not very professional. The price is already full even if something need to be finished.
We where not told that the room was a "pull out sofa bed" so I was forced to upgrade, I was also told by booking.com the breakfast was $8.00 for the continental buffet and it was 16.00 The Price, you can stay at the Milleniium for the same amount of money and its much friendlier and luxurious

The location is unquestionably the real interest for this hotel may be we were unlucky but we had neighbouring very noisy and boring late in the night, noise again very early in the morning and the hotel just forgot our room cleaning while it was totally free all the day

Stayed at this hotel for 7 nights in room no 825. staff are very friendly it is right next door to the world trade centre and a lot of building work is being done, I do not understand why people complain about the noise on previous postings, as when you are in the hotel you can hardly here it [yes everyone knows there is a lot of building work so why complain ] breakfast is good value , free internet use and free coffee in the louge I would highly recommend this hotel,michael & louise westcliff-on-sea essex england

All of the staff that I encountered were very nice. The bed was comfortable. I also loved the welcome cookie. It was a nice surprise and I was hungry!! The location was great for my needs and is just minutes away from the waterfront. The room was nice enough but there was weird white stuff on the walls and in the bathroom. Cleanser maybe? I went down to the bar area and had to wait 5 minutes to be seen/ seated. There were just a few people there so it wasn't a busyness issue. I ordered soup. A little over 5 minutes later the server responded to tell me that the soup would take 25 minutes. I ordered pizza instead. It was fine but I was disappointed. The temperature in the room was freezing. I adjusted it with the thermostat on the wall but the air conditioner continued on, event though I had selected 68 on heat. I ended up pulling the plug to get it to turn off after an hour of adjusting the thermostat and waiting for warmth. I was exhausted from a long day and got in bed to watch tv. The remote control would not turn on the television. I inspected the outlets and they were all okay. The button on the tv worked but, even then, I was only getting 4 commercial channels. The lights on the remote were coming on also so I figured it wasn't batteries. I decided to call the front desk. Unfortunately, the phone in my room did not work/ call to the front desk. I tried both lines but no luck. I even tried dialing other services available on the phone but that just rang and rang. So.... exhausted and frustrated, I got dressed and headed down to the lobby. I had to wait a bit as a few people were just checking in. The person at the desk was very nice and sent someone up to my room. The man arrived to fix the television. He was extremely nice but the issue did take about 15 minutes or so to resolve. He wasn't sure why the issue happened but he had to get a special remote and change some settings. In the morning, I headed down to the restaurant again. I asked if I could order from the menu. I was told buffet only, though I think there may have been a communication issue. I later asked a different server after I saw the selection up close. It was generally unimpressive. She said that I could order from the menu but I decided to just stick with the buffet since the menu would take longer and I felt like I was being a burden by ordering. I was extremely disappointed overall. The eggs, potatoes and waffles were all cold. I ate just a little bit and spent over $20 with tip. I was extremely disappointed. Overall, I wouldn't recommend or stay at this hotel again, unfortunately.

The hotel was conveniently located and quiet. Also the room had an alcove so our baby had some privacy. Somewhat expensive for the service received, but otherwise a fine night.
The staff were extremely helpful, courteous and friendly and the hotel room we had wass excellent - spacious and with good amenities. Whilst there isnt too much to do, or see, in the immediate area with the ease of transport into Manhattan [the Path train from Grove station is only a ten minute walk away] it made a relaxing base.
The reception staff, especially Felix, were very helpful and courteous. The room maids were polite and efficient. The hotel location was like an oasis with the nearby marina, shopping mall and street restaurants after the hustle and bustle of Manhattan.

close proximity to light rail and subway lack of view, lack of customer service with rainy day needs; umbrella, dryer for coats and shoes. stayed 2 nights, but hotel split it to two separate nights and we have to check back in and re-key our room keys for the second night. brought personal pillow and maid service removed it during the daily cleaning. T/he pillow was never found.

The hotel is walking distance from just about everything and the light rail is behind it. Like the cookie at check in. Staff was very friendly. Had a room on the 3rd floor and the view was a roof with lots of vents.

The staff were extremely courteous, helpful and accommodating. At check-in, Debbie was wonderful, great sense of humor, and very professional. She upgraded our room and gave us a beautiful view of the Manhattan. The young man at the door was wonderful as well. He was kind and courteous. The beds were very comfortable and clean. We didn't like that there was a charge for wi-fi. We normally stay in hotels where the wi-fi is free. On the positive side, since we didn't use it for the 24 hours that we paid for, my credit card was credited and we were only charged half of the fee for wi-fi. Wasn't too thrilled about paying $3.00 for a coke from the little store either.
Good alternative to Manhatten. Rooms were a nice size, staff were polite and helpful and would definately reccommend this others.

A great place to stay for a NYC weekend. Quieter than Manhattan, beautiful skyline view and very close to the PATH train. The staff is very friendly and the room was clean. Will stay there again.

The staff at the counter for my check-out was carrying an attitude. She seemed not happy or not nice at all during my checkout process. Did not say hi or goodbye either. It gave me a feeling that I was in a DMV.

Very Very cool. From a British viewpoint it is like Malmaison but taken to the next level and with the addition of 5 star service. The concierge are very good at getting you into those 'hard to book' restaurants. The private guests only rooftop bar is very nice.

Staff were very helpful and always on hand. The room quality was very high - the recent refurbishment has really focussed on top end materials and furnishings and for a hotel in central New York, the room was of a good size. Its central location in NYC is very helpful to get uptown or downtown and its situation gives an unusually peaceful night sleep in such a busy city. The roof garden was very nice, as were the bars, but some of the hotel claims are overdone. Cocktails are expensive by the time you add on service and tax.
Room set up Very poor service! I had water & juice poured over me during breakfast with no apologies! Tea was served without tea cup! Bathroom light was out for one day and not replaced. Laundry list was not provided despite repeated requests.

Valet took >45 minutes after being told 10-15 (I allowed 20). Had to request iron, wastes time. Tub drain was fully clogged and GROSS so water did not drain. Shower vent grate was FULL of GROSS dust + mold. Noise outside from traffic, garbage trucks + roof party letting out kept us awake ALL NIGHT, absurd! Sounded like windows on Lex.ave. were open, but they weren't, they're just inadequate!
The rooms were cute. Not to small. Stayed here for New Year's Eve. Wanted a bucket of ice for the room so my wife and I could keep a bottle of champagne cold. They actually charged us $5 for the bucket of ice. Not even Motel 6 charges for ice. Room was also very hot and a lot of noise from the street and hallway. Bed hard and uncomfortable.

The staff was excellent, friendly and welcoming. I didn't have to make any special requests/have anything corrected, but I think they would have been accommodating. The room was quiet. For my purposes, a business trip on a budget, the hotel was okay, and as I expected. It is a skosh tired, but it was clean and quiet.

The location was quite poor, 5 min from bus-station and 15 min walk to train-station. 30-50 min to Manhattan by bus and 10 min by train/subway. Not very clean, poor breakfast- just donuts,muffins, coffe, juice and cornflakes. No supermarkets/shops around the hotel.
not much The location we did not like, we landed at JFK and rang the hotel for directions. The guy we talked to spoke to us as though we inconvienced him for ringing and the directions he gave were ridiculous. These were the directions we were given "get on the blue line, get off at port authority get the 51 and get off at Manhattan Ave walk down the hill". If your an international traveller those directions are useless. When we finally found it, it didn't seam like a safe place and we checked out early. Also there are no places in walking distance to get a meal apart from discusting burgers across the road..

Free internet working fine. The room was apparently clean. Quite old structure and forniture, some spots on the walls and on the ceiling. We didn't go out because passing by car we noticed there were neither places to eat nor to drink a beer. The neighbourhood was quite bad in our opinion: prostitutes, a big work-in-progress street running just one meter from the motel.

Location was great. It was nice to be able to get out of the city and away from the holiday crowds. Nice views of the city skyline. Not much night life close to the hotel. Most restaurants close to the hotel were closed on the weekend.

They easily accommodated all of my requests and the staff was delightful in all of their interactions. Beyond that, the hotels looks nice, has clean facilities and has a great location next to the One World Trade Center/Freedom Tower, as well as connections to a variety of subway lines. Very convenient.
Loved everything from staff to the fresh new high class bed sheets 55 dollars a day to park, moved 1 bottle of champagne in the fridge and was charged 20 dollars for it, due to the sensors on the bottles, called front desk and they removed it from the bill with no issue though.
Location was what we liked and felt vary safe at all times. The staff was friendly and the room was clean and comfortably. The parking was a great convenince but seamed pricey when you add it to the room cost. Maby price it per visit vs per night.

The rate was great for NY. Room was clean and the bellman are always helpful. The bathrooms in the lobby are disgusting. If you're having a drink down there you have to constantly go up to your room to use the restroom since the others are so dirty and smell like urine. The concierge was not helpful. When asking for recommendations to restaurants, he would only direct us to their restaurant in the 3rd floor. Also asked him about the Book of Mormon show, he called and tickets were over 325 ea. We had to talk to other a couple others in the hotel who gave us recommendations and we got tickets for a little over 130 ea. Seems lazy or completely unaware - probably shouldn't be the concierge.

We had a good experience at the hotel. Staff was nice and rooms were very clean. Only minor negatives: Room service food, particularly breakfast, isn't really that good, which forced us to start going out for breakfast ( 3 out of 5 stars). However no worries because it's NYC so there is plenty of food around. Location isn't the greatest, but it's close enough ( 4 out of 5 starts). The 9/11 memorial is right across the street, which is convenient, but other than that, you'll generally be taxiing or ubering everywhere. My boyfriend forgot his keys and didn't realize until we were back in DC. The great news is that the housekeeper did turn in the keys, but the guy in the list and find area was being a dick, asking him the most ridiculous questions... We still haven't received the keys either. Hopefully they actually send them.
It took us less than 5 minutes to walk up JFK to PATH. Chickpea restaurant is right at entrance to PATH and had super tasty gluten free, vegan options that we could carry back to eat at hotel. Stayed on fourth floor and liked separation in room. Bathroom is tucked away and little area for fridge and microwave helped keep costs down. Friendly staff. No parking, had to find parking and then walk 5 blocks to hotel to check in then back to car to move closer to hotel to unload bags. This was hard after a long day of driving but hotel staff was very kind and helpful once we arrived. Parking is available 1.5 blocks away for 12$ a night. This should be mentioned with reservation so you know where to go. Neighborhood is run down. We weren't out after dark.

Location - close to PATH station, lots of restaurants within 5-7 mins of walking distance- excellent for people looking for Indian food. Cleanliness Friendly Staffs Excellent Breakfast and the duration 6 am - 10 am suits everyone This hotel does not have a parking lot. But thats not a big deal, there are many paid parking lots near the hotel and available at a reasonable price.
The location to Manhatten is fantastic! The staff were welcoming and informative and very prompt! Paying for parking which I didn't know to take into account as far as the budget goes is an extra $12 a day. I also thought that the bathrooms needed remodeling, they have an awkward layout and some rusting was showing.

The price was right! The Ramada was clean. Most of all, it is in walking distance to the Path Train. An added plus was that the staff dealt with a slight dilemma in a most professional way, at no cost to us. Entrance to the hotel by vehicle could be a problem and be aware that close parking is limited & sometimes an added charge.. This is typical in congested city areas.
Layout of the room was nice. One the surface it was clean. Didn't inspect to to much. Great rates! Would stay again. Just to pick something, the elevator was small and took forever.
I thought the staff very responsive to my questions. I had a document printed out at short notice, and it was done efficiently and without complaint. What I most disliked was the set-up with the television. It is absolutely standard these days --even at a motel 6 -- to have a large number of cable tv stations available with at least some of the more common movie channels. There was none of that. Also, one would expect a large movies-on-demand set-up on the television and that too was missing. 2) my in-house phone did not work, and so to communicate with the front desk, I had to go down by elevator; 3) it was difficult to catch a cab in this part of wall street, and there was no way of doing so, according to the staff, except to walk 2 or 3 blocks and hope for the best. The hotel should have a better arrangement when it comes to cabs; 4) the bed was fine, but the only cover/comforter doubled as a bed-spread, which meant one had to sleep with the bed-spread, which I find off-putting -- potentially unclean.
The staff is very courteous and helpful. The premises are clean and well maintained. The location is awesome if you like to walk around and take in the sights. The Financial District is one of the few places I enjoy walking around as it isn't as densely populated at night. The room we had was right by a garbage disposal or ice machine so every so often we'd hear it go off. Very distracting and unpleasant. The room seemed smaller than it is because the ceilings are outrageously tall. The bathroom looks like the designer took a page out of the YMCA men's domicile for inspiration - cheap tile, crappy shower, meh. The windows haven't been washed in what I can only assume is eons so even if the view were breathtaking (it wasn't) you wouldn't be able to see it properly.
It is a really good choice! Clean and new hotel, in the middle of wall street, it is really cheap compared to other much more options in new york. The price I paid was 20% less expensive than other hotel in town. Rooms are clean, nice and confortable. Self check in is strange but very efficient at the end!!!
The location, included amenities, and service were all spot on. Will definitely return here. Only complaint was the hard bed. That said, it was well worth the trade off.
The location was very convenient to all of the Financial District. The attached restaurant provided good food and standard NY prices. The room was clean, quite (outside noise was minimal) and the staff very accommodating. Although the parking was discounted, it was about a block away. It was not clear where the parking facility was located and I circled the blocks a few times and wound up having to call the hotel to give me instructions on where to go.

Could not see read etc. no t.v. Channel line up in our room. Lighting in the bar seating area near the elevators was also not sufficient to read etc. No matter how I tried the water in the bathroom ,by the restaurant just came out in a trickle, if it even came out at all. I was mad as hell because I could not clean my hands properly. I had to run up to my room to wash My hands. I know you are trying to GO GREEN, but give me a break with the price we paid I should be provided with ample hot water and light. Help us to keep clean and not spread germs please

Clean room and 24 hour room service. Being charged for internet access at a high-end hotel is ridiculous. It's almost like the higher the cost is the more these companies think they can rip you off by charging for additional services (or thing in the mini-bar) as opposed to trying to provide the most value for that money.
The sky line view
Great location walkable to path, waterfront, Main Street etc. Asked at front desk if there was a coffee shop to get a cup of tea, told I could go to the restaurant to buy tea or coffee. Meanwhile when we came down Sunday morning to go out for breakfast there was complimentary tea/coffee being served in the bar. Nobody let us know that. Lighting in our room was pretty poor.
We only stayed for one night but it was amazing. The view of the Hudson and the city from our room was beautiful. The room itself was great! And it's walking distance to amazing resturants and bars. I am definitely going go be staying here again.
Nice modern feel and friendly, attentive staff. Comfortable bed and nice late (12pm) check out. Too much upselling in the room: fridge is full of items to purchase as well as half the counter and all over (water on bedside tables and in bathroom, etc.). It was too in your face and too expensive. Room overlooking the club was very noisy until 3am closing. Water pressure in the shower was awful. Valet was expensive and it took them over 20min to locate my vehicle.
Great place the only thing would like to see is better air freshening in the hallways -- predominantly Asian guests on extended stays who do a lot of cooking and the strong odor of the foods can be overwhelming in hallway and on elevators but not in rooms. This is why I give it a three for cleanliness for public spaces. Rooms are excellent quiet and modern with updated renovation in 2014.

Location Staff were not very friendly. Man at desk checking me in was quite short with me, he kept asking me for a voucher, I kept telling him I didn't have one. He obviously wasn't listening to me. He never said hello, welcome, please or thank you. I realize it was check in time so it was busy, but don't work in this industry if you can't deal with people more appropriately. I actually found all the staff quite stand-offish, except the gentleman at the bag check. I had no cold water for my shower, and there was a tag from previous visitor on the floor in the bathroom. I left a bag in one of the rooms, when I called half hour later, I spent 20 minutes on phone, being put on hold. I finally just went to hotel and asked security to get it.
2 bathrooms for one room made it extra convienent. Clean rooms. Ask for a room with a view. You can't go wrong. Didn't have any issues with anything.

The location was good. The hotel and the room was old fashion. The pictures of the rooms that you show in your website doesn´t match the real ones. Also I had to pay an extra $100 for facilities fee.
I was grounded at LaGuardia and found the reservation on Booking.com at a really good price. It was perfect. Great view, great service, Jessica at the front desk was friendly and personable knowing that I'd had a bad day traveling. She gave me great local dinner suggestions, too.
The location was awesome It was so small and incredibly expensive for what you get. There were families being evicted in adjacent rooms. Don't know the story there, but not your typical "4 star" experience.
Came down from Boston and wanted to stay near Penn Station to make traveling home easier. The location was good since it's a quick five minute walk to the train. My biggest complaint is that the hotel charged me an extra $25 fee for the business lounge, phones and wifi, which they didn't disclose to me at all. In fact, when I checked in, they touted their guest wifi as a feature of the hotel. You can imagine my surprise then when I woke up with a paper invoice slipped underneath my door in the middle of the night demanding I pay $25 for a "facilities fee." Seems like they are nickel-and-diming their customers to squeeze out every last dollar of an already expensive hotel. Beyond the hiddens fees, I stayed in a Double Metro room with a colleague. The room was a bit cramped without much room to move around. There were only two accessible outlets in the entire room, so charging phones and laptops between meetings was impossible for both of us at once. The others outlets either used European plugs or were inaccessible behind the headboards of the beds. In the middle of the night, the room became inexplicable hot and since you can't open the windows, there was really no way to cool it down. The shower fluctuated back and forth between frigid and scalding hot every 5 seconds. All in all, the facilities were so so and I was thankful my tripped was only schedule for one night.

Large and very clean room. The housekeeping service was really professional. The bathroom was comfortable, with a lot of space and really clean. The garage too expensive and without in and out privilege. I would suggest one of the several garage that you can find nearby the hotel, they are all more convinient. The hotel was perfect but the negative note was the charges for the wifi connection which is commonly for free in lower category hotels.
The location was outstanding with a view of the harbor and Statue of Liberty. The room was large and well laid out with an oversize bathroom. The staff at the concierge desk was outstanding and extremely courteous and helpful. Very elegant and pleasant stay.

Nickle and dimed to death room from room service 4 drinks Cokes and Pepsi 2 of each were 30 plus dollars and they were the small bottles. I found pills in my room and my whute comforter had lots of dark lint.Food was standard at best. My room had no mini fridge. Windows were not sound proof. Really far from everything fun. Boat horns go off all times of the morning somtimes so loud it makes you look at your phone to see if its vibrating. Overall nice place could be the best if they fix these issues.
I had a beautiful,comfortable room with a breathtaking view overlooking the Statue Of Liberty and all the commerce on the river. It was a wonderful place home away from home for a great Big Apple week-end! N/A
The friendliness and good education of the entire Staff. The setup of the room plus the commodities of th bath immense bathroom. The limitations of the breakfast offers plus the poor value for money
This is a lovely hotel, but it is a business hotel. Go to the one in Central Park if you are looking for a more romantic or family-oriented place to stay, but it is still a really nice place to stay. It's in battery park, away from the main buzz of nyc - lovely and quiet and the views of the Statue of Liberty are beautiful, but stay elsewhere if you want to be in the centre of things.

Very luxurious comfortable hotel. They seem to be able to find the perfect mix of attention or privacy based on what you are looking for and if you seek out any help. Very classy hotel with a great staff.
I lived in that neighborhood when I first moved to NY. The outdoor space that has the view of the Statue of Liberty has been closed. There is no view of the Harbor from any common area.
Perfect location, walking distance from Port Authority, Times Square, Broadway theaters. Comfortable bed, perfect plumbing, friendly staff. Breakfast (which is included) was terrible. We've been staying at this hotel (originally Best Western) for 10 years, and breakfast was always pretty good. Sadly, under the new management, the food quality went down south to the point of unrecognizable. It should either be improved radically, or there should be no charge for it.
A minutes walk to Convention Center. That's it. In every aspects, inferior to the standard hotel. FedEx pick up service must be done by myself, for example. No coffee in daytime and night. No refregerator in room. Noisy at night due to 24 hour open taxi repair shop just in front of hotel.
It is located within walking distance to Times Square, pretty good location. Staffs are friendly, and the room is clean which is the most important thing to me.
The staff is unfriendly, the rooms are very small and not clean, there is a lot of noise from the garage/body repair/ taxi service, next door. The location is in an area dangerous at night. The hotel has nothing to do with Best Western hotels chain, is just a very bad franchise. It's the worst hotel i have ever been. I would suggest to Best Western to cancel this franchise, otherwise they will ruin their image.
Check in people and Breakfast Room Cleanness was terrible. Only one elevator for guest and employees
Helping & caring staff. Excellent outside view from the room. Everything was excellent about the Best Western Convention Center.
Staff were pleasant Confusion at registration desk both checking in and out.

Not much You pay additional for everything except a basic bed. The staff has a negative attitude that borders on rude. The elevator service is very slow.
Considering it was the marathon weekend we were able to get a room here. Very clean. Beds were small and not that comfortable. But for NYC it was bigger than I have seen
Everyone was helpful, and gave great suggesstions. The room was large enough for the 4 of us, not always the case in NYC, clean and comfortable. We were very happy with the location and the BLT restaurant was very good.
Was easy to get there, since it was a weekend we parked on the street without a problem and as we marked in the preferences we wanted a room with a view they gave us a a room looking at the Hudson River.

The staff, location, and quality of the hotel for the price cannot be beat in New York. I would recommend this hotel to anyone, and I travel to New York often, usually staying in hotels like the W. Nothing.
Most everything. My only facilities detraction was the shower water temperature bounced around. The location is not in the middle of anything, but it is close to a lot.
Nice staff, comfortable mattress and linens, great shower, funky style and great location - walk to everything and close to subway Ultra small bathroom sink and counter, A/C didn't cool the room below 72 even with the thermostat turned down to 60. Bed also on a platform, and corner of the base jutted out far enough that I whacked my shins on it to the point of heavy bruises - totally my fault but just beware!!
Location Rooms were very very small, bathrooms were even smaller, no room to move in and no storage space whatsoever in room at all
Just entrance Very small space of room, very expensive if you think about cost vs. benefits. Even breakfast of us$ 24,50 and us$ 6,53 for a bottle of water???? The most expensive experience that I had when I am trevelling all around the world during last 20 years!!!!!!!
I liked the modern design and the crisp clean linens. Unable to control temperature of room. Also found a large roach crawling on the floor. The staff rectified the situation immediately.
Stunning hotel. Stayed here for 4th of July weekend. Location is amazing, room is amazing and staff was amazing. Will be back next time while I'm in NYC. Parking is a hassle and valet is 55$ a night.
The staff was excellent; courteous, helpful, engaging and friendly. The room was spotless and comfortable with nice amenities. I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely return.
