Our room had recently been renovate and it was very comfortable and stylish. Good soundproofing/double glazing so that the there was very little noise from the major roads nearby - just good views. The location is very good - close to the old city and in the other direction, to Nuevo Cordoba with all its restuarants, galleries and museums. The shower is a little cramped, but there is not much they can do about that.
I liked that there was not carpet on the floors - it makes it a lot cleaner! There was always helpful staff around. No, I was pleased with everything. Thank you and I would stay there again - and also recommend it to others.
Central location, and as we enjoy the buzz and activity that a city holiday provides, this hotel was near perfect. Very welcoming and accommodating staff; not a problem when we wished to have a non-smoking room. The pool was small and not very well maintained.
Great value. Breakfast was very good. Staff was friendly. Bed was extremely comfortable (I am a picky sleeper). Front desk staff provided good directions to where we wanted to go. It would have been nice if there was lotion in the bathroom.
They charged me more per day than the booking.com price because of exchange rates. Booking.com should list the approximate price in the local currency as well.
Very spacious and confortable room with excellent view of the city, free wifi in the room, very helpful and friendly reception, concierge and porter staff. The shower was powerful but fitted above a narrow bath with no non-slip which made it difficult to use. Would have been better to have just a shower.
The morning desk clerk was kind and helpful. The hotel itself in the Lobby looks nice, but the room was stinky and the bathroom was not clean. I wanted to vomit because of the odor and smell. Some of this was probably due to bad plumbing, but the bathrooms are not maintained clean. Simply running a rag over the floor or tile, does not remove the bacteria and fungus. We stayed in this hotel three or four years ago when the rooms were newer and the bathrooms had just been remodeled. We were disappointed to see the decline in the room conditions. Also the Breakfast needs improvement. The only good thing I can say is that the location for business is appealing. Also the morning desk person was helpful and nice. see above
The pool area on the roof is nice, although the pool water didn't look too clean. The staff was helpful, although not all of them spoke english, they tried to accomodate. The rooms are a bit dinghy, they could do with some work.
The location was excellent with just a short straight walk down to the historic area and a great range of service shops in immediate vicinity - money exchange, laundromat, groceries. The staff were delightful and always someone who had a good grasp of English to help us - our big thanks to Franco. Rooms were very well serviced daily. The rooms were not of the same quality as the lobby. The bathroom was in need of some attention and the carpet stained and the sheets very old but comfortable.
the only thing that i like about the hotel their employees where very helpful. the sheets were so gray that i know at one time they were white, the rooms where so small that one person had to wait until the other pass.
Nice stuff, centrally located, very nice price-quality ratio. For 60 euros/day I would go back for sure.
Good beds, good location, close to the centre o the city and Belgrano, whiosch is a nice street with bars and cafes., and a artesenal market. Breakfast was good also. No, everything okay.
Good breakfast, great view from the roof, excellent location, helpful staff. Pool was very small, not really suitable for swimming, and bugs not skimmed off regularly enough. Dirty plates and butter containers left around the pool. Glasses left which could break and cut a child's foot.
It was a convenient location. The breakfasts were good and we had one dinner at the hotel that was good. It was a nice alternative to looking for a restaurant away from the hotel. We appreciated the free internet service. Very accommodating about storing our luggage. We were given a smoking room at first and had to move. That should be confirmed with the guest at the time of check-in. No view.
I expected a business hotel based on reviews I read, but the hotel was very nice and the staff were accomodating.
The hotel is in a central location and the staff were helpful when we asked for their assistance. The rooms are fairly small and basic. The bed was cheap and uncomfortable.
Good an quick room cleaning. Central location and very helpful reception personal. It was difficult to find clean table on morning buffet caused by slow cleaning of vacant tables.
reception staff were eager to prpfide accurate and reliable information in a good English. Food and wine at the restaurant were more than adequate. The glass window at the entrance was broken.
close to city centre breakfast poor
I'd really enjoy staying there because it was really in Cordoba downtown. It was only 2 blocks aways from the "Plaza Olmos" which is a nice mall and also like 14 blocks (really walking distance) to "Nuevo Centro" Shopping Mall. Also it was close to Museums and good restaurants. That they don't make any difference between smoking and non-smoking rooms. When we first got in, we were assigned to a room which was impregnated of cigarette, but we were lucky they could move us to another room which good good! Also they don't have full beds. They gave us a room with two twins which we put together and all of the sudden we had a king bed all for us. Since I am a very easy person, I could stand that!
The room was comfortable and staff were friendly and helpful. We did request a double room but were given a twin. We did ask if this could be changed but this was not possible until following day. In view of the time between booking and our stay I would have thought it would be possible to give us what we ordered. Especially as double rooms are only twin beds put together. We did not accept change on next day as our stay was short and did not want to waste time changing.
The location was perfect. I needed taxis only for transport from and to the airport. When going to restaurants, museums and universities, I did all walking. I walked a lot actually, and most people would take taxis. But my point is, yeah, great location. Just watch for the 21% taxes included. The price on booking.com does not include these taxes.
Great location to explore the city on foot and shopping no dislikes about the hotel
Great location, friendly staff, great price, quiet room in the middle of the city.
Well, I originally booked into Urbano, but their internet was down, so they immediately moved me to their other Hotel NH Panorama, which was very nice, got this amazingly huge room. The staff is very helpful and quick to attend to anything you require.,They had the best steak in town and the breakfast was a feast. Unfortunately, only couple of the receptionists spoke English. Even then it was a struggle to get understood. I am very surprised as it is a very business type Hotel. I did find the Hotel was more suited for business travellers and not for holiday makers. It's a bit cold for that. The fittings such as shower and flush is fixed clumsy. This I found all over Argentina, 4 or 3 star, not just in this Hotel.
The staff was excellent and the restaurant/bar very good. They reserved a tour for me with an English speaker in a matter of minutes.
It was big, but very personal. Exellent breakfast, nice pool area, a big room. Directly at the Plaza. We liked all if it,
Friendly staff mainly recruited from local university students. Perfect location for the centre - low season arrangement for breakfast taken at a nearby cafe was a bonus. Room was clean and functional but quite basic. Could be improved with an extra chair and maybe a rug on hte floor.
We arrived very tired and very early after a night on the bus. The staff was able to let us check-in early to one of our rooms. This was very helpful! A sewer smell would rise up from the drain in the bathroom and it was very smelly.
Hotel located in very central location, room was spacious and very clean. The staff were lovely, very helpful. Breakfast was in a cafe around the corner - basic but standard here (tea/coffee, orange juice and croissants). LIghts outside the room in the hallway were on all night, as there was a window in our room looking into the hallway it made the room a bit bright in the nighttime.
Garden Hotel has a great location on a pedway street in the heart of Cordoba. We were able to get into our right away which was wonderful since we arrived early from an overnight bus from Salta. The room was large, basic with no frills. The beds were comfortable. Great price. For those who are not fussy about luxury, this is fine for a few days. Staff was helpful. The room was rather dark as it had no windows to the outside. Those with mobility problems may find the stairs leading to the hotel to be a challenge! Got a voucher for a breakfast in a restaurant down the way. (coffee and croissant).
The staff was extremely helpful and the location was superb -right in the pedestrian area of the old town and within walking distance to important sights. The price was excellent. Beds were firm and comfortable. Breakfast was satisfying, but you do have to walk a couple of blocks to get it since the hotel has no kitchen. I wish they had at least one hair dryer to lend.
excellent location, right on a walking street, downtown Cordoba city, two blocks from the main square, stores and restaurants at your doorstep stairs going up, does not have elevator. I was not aware that the IVA (local taxes were not included in the rate)
As central as it gets and the superior rooms (all rooms offered on booking.com are) are really comfortable and clean. Good deal!
The location This is listed as a 4 star hotel and it is a 2 star at best. The walls and floor were filthy, the tableware, linen and towels were dirty. Some of the furniture was broken. There is no maid service as advertised. The worst was the tap and shower water. It had a foul, stagnant pond smell. As we did not notice this in any of the surrounding restaurant facilities we assume that this is a hotel problem.
It is very well located There was no hook for towels or where to leave the soap in the toilet. We had to put a chair near the bathroom door, on the outside, and use it to hang the toilet paper and the towels. We put a dish inside of the bidet to have a surface where to leave the soap and shampooing!
