swomming poll and sauna
Most comfortable beds in Europe!!!
Friendly staff and the comfiest bed I have slept in
Lower price - price in Poland for the type of Hotel to high - I have been in other hotel in Gdansk (Novotel) also close to the beach like Sofitel -and the diffirent in price is to high - We are not getting much more at Sofitel compare to Novotel - and the price at Sofitel is more than 25 % more expencive When we have to go to the beach you have to work around the hole hotel - there is no directly entrance to the beach h
The quality of the place and the pool indeed. Late checkin time 2pm and early checkout 10am !
The Room was so dirty. We had the same problem last year when we stayed in the same hotel.
Sea view, bath robes, luxurious cosmetics, excellent bed and bed linnen, tea and coffee in the room low quality TV, room layout, uncomfortable bar area with the unpleasant smell from the restaurant, no lobby/lauch/relaxing area with sea view. From 5 star hotel being so expensive I expected much more, however the view from the window compensated for everything
Beautiful building and high standard of finish inside, rooms very comfortable and elegantly furnished. Staff very polite and willing to please. I liked the breakfast buffet whihc had a wide variety plus chef cooked breakfast option at no extra cost. 1. Food (dinner) and dining service in this hotel is fair but not up to other European 5 Star hotels and certainly should be better for the price. 2. Although my room was impressively furnished, the bed gave me serious back ache after just one night. I do not have problems with my back and would suggest the bed is too soft 3. No foreign exchange available in such a large and expensive hotel! 4. The Internet connection was so slow it was virtually unusable
Our suite #214 - one of the biggest rooms in the whole hotel! And the individual exclusive feeling of staying in such a historical hotel! If the walls could speak... We ordered food to the room (room service) and it didn´t fullfill the expecations of a 5-star hotel. Plain and standard taste unfortunately...
The best is the bed, very comfortable. Also, the free internet in the room is ok. Very nice building (hystorical). Lack of english language channels on tv. The central heating system didn't work in first instance, but they fixed it somehow. The internet also couln't work until somebody fixed it. Room service didn't answer several times. Anyway, the resort is more populated in the summer because of the sea side.
Very good location. Good restaurant and excellent breakfast buffet. Room was rather spartan - a bed, two hard wooden chairs and a wooden desk, wooden floor. It was clean and tidy and the bathroom was very good, but I expected more comfort for the price
Perfect location, nice design, great breakfest. Rather small room.
Exceptionally charming and helpful staff, combined with elegant environment and ideal location. The breakfast buffet was one of the best I've had, anywhere.
The staff were extremely helpful. The room, despite the hotel only being only 200 metres from Monte Cassino, was very quiet. Despite not having air conditioning, it was very hot during our stay, we were provided without asking, with a large electric fan which kept the room cool. The room and en suite were clean and in keeping with the art noveau character of the hotel. The breakfast was excellent in quality choice and quantity. When we used the restaurant facility, again this was of high order. We really enjoyed our stay; the hotel is a good base for exploring Gdansk and Gydinia, the local train runs every 20 minutes to each destination from Sopot. Car parking is secure, on site and free.
Close to center of city, close to friends. The loft was wonderful. Location excellent To have a doctor available, if needed, had to call a friend and then the ambulance.
excellent service, abundant breakfast and very good location
Friendly staff, good location, just 50 metres from the Monte Casino Dtreet The price is charged in zloty, using an exchange rate €1=3,75zlt
Great Environment and Staff. Good restaurant. Nice breakfast (except the coffee) Lack of facilities in room, no tea/ coffee, no clock/ radio/ alarm. No hairdryer in bathroom. Surrounding area can be noisy at night.
Marvellous breackfast, very helpful staff. Heatings off when outside there were about 5 degrees and the bedroom under roof.
Location, staff, breakfast.
Central and very helpfull people. My friend got a dry chicken.he got a free pivo for it.he should better be offered free dinner. no extra-no business.
The reception desk staff were very helpful & the breakfast was supberb in comfortable surroundings.
A rea pleasure to stay in this hotel: friendly staff, luxurious decoration, very nice bar, complementary drink and spa visit, excellent breakfast, perfect location... Just an occasion to pamper yourself. One person room was rather on the small side.
Location and the view from the hotel to the main walking area - splendid. You are right in the centre of action. The hotel overall is quite nice. Still - there are a lot of small details that the management should pay attention to. Service - people servicing you are somewhat too relaxed and not attentive or smiling. Food - could be more diversified. And tasty. Cleaning - it seems that the vacuum cleaners are not used. The powder that fell on the floor on Friday was still there on Monday.
Facilities and the brekfast No
Nothing was too much trouble for the staff everything was fine
It was very conveniently located. It had a nice restaurant and pub attached. Breatkfast was very good. Rooms were nice but small. I would not rate this as a 5 star. I would stay here again. Room was small.
Very nice atmosphere at the hotel. Hotel is located near main street where you can find a lot of good restaurants, pubs and bars. Lack of parking lot which belongs to the hotel. In the offer it was mentioned that the price includes spa treatment. Spa was open only on fri until 9:00 and treatment lasted only 10 min!
Locality of the hotel
The most unfriendly receptionist I ever met. Nice rooms. Nice Bathroom
nothing even if you have a question you have got to pay...
Nice hotel with pleasant and helpfull staff. Nice rooms, and a perfect location. The hotel is not ready and charges 5 star prices for a 3 star facility. No fitness room, no meeting rooms... it is too expensive for its offerings.
I did not get the room which I booked.People from reception were not able to solve my problem.
The only thing we didn't like was we paid extra for a room with a sea view. When we looked out our window it was very hard to see the sea as there were large trees blocking our view. They would not change the rate of our room even though it really wasn't a sea view. They could not move us the first night, but were able to the second night. Our view from the second room was better, but there were still trees blocking some of the view. I also wish the rooms had a real balcony, there are doors that open, but there is only about 6 inches of balcony to stannd on.
very nice hotel, I had a great time
Nice location and good facilities. Clean and tidy Most personal good but some of the girls in the reception still think that you have to be dressed in a certain way to stay in the hotel. In Sweden we have a different clothes code maybe moore casual than in Poloand. So one of my collegues got a bit ill treated when we arrived. see above
meals in the restaurant, design of the hotel, location design of the restaurant is like a dining room in student house
The spa is lovely and the location on the beach is good. The Sheraton Sopot unfortunately was a disappointment. The location was fantastic but the service let it down. Everything was an extra cost from breakfast, use of the spa, internet, late check-out for just one hour. It felt like the hotel just wanted to make money rather than welcome guests. Having come from the Hilton in Gdansk where nothing was too much trouble and there were no extra costs for any of the above we were surprised to find a hotel of similar quality differing so much.
Rooms are very well appointed. Bed is comfortable and nice. We had a sea view that was great. Slow housekeeping service. Breakfest at $30 per person!!?? Much too much.
Very bad room service. We waited over an hour for our order. There was no coffee, milk or toilet paper either.
service was excellent! Whenever and whatever I needed - I got it immediately! Perfect! I really got pleasure from my staying
Very elegant hotel with very good spa facilities especially the jacuzzi slightly further from Sopot centre than I would of liked . Recommend asking for room at back of hotel as road is very busy also we were above main entrance and twice were woken by guests talking at entrance once at 5am Would have liked tea/coffee making facilities and safe in the room although there are safes available at reception
The hotel has a very friendly, relaxed atmosphere, its almost like staying at a friends home.
The very high level of service, professional and friendly. The beds were too small and with very soft mattresses. Most uncomfortable. The shower arrangement was poor and almost impossible to use properly.
Excellent food in Restaurant Staff not showing much intgerest to guests requests for services ie afternoon tea, long wait and poor service. No porter to assist on arrival or departure.
The hotel is a smart, clean 4* establishment based in the beautiful Polish seaside resort of Sopot. The hotel is modern, newly built and there's usually a friendly welcome at reception, where they will gladly lend you an umbrella in case of rain - I experienced torrential downpours. Previously I stayed at Sopot's 5* Grand Hotel, possibly Poland’s finest. So any other hotel was likely to be a disappointment. At The Grand, the staff always greeted me with a smile and cheerful "Dzień dobry!" (Good Day!) At Hotel Haffner, however, this warm welcome was missing. The Queen sized bed had separate single covers, so I couldn’t spread out. The room was quite noisy.
Location, is very hard to find and the sign on main street is showing wrong direction
we had a good time with my family and friends .we will definately go back if we have another free time.
Sympathy of all hotel staff members. Comfort. Fine and fast room cleaning. Rooms should have individual safe much more convenient than the set of indidual safes at reception (not always easily accessible due to guests' luggage kept in the safe room).
Spot on condition of all facilities, rooms, very friendly staff. No WIFI in the room.
Everything was good. Small boutique hotel. Good location just 5 min walk from the city centre.
The hotel was charming, staff was responsive. All were generally positive. The bed was not big. There were two pillows - one too large, the second is too small - it was not convenient to sleep
helpful staff to close to very busy railway
Great hotel, fantastic rooms, best service by the staff and very good breakfast. We are going back!
It is a good location, close to the high street, beach and train station
The Hotel Europa was suberbly situated for the railway station for trains to Gdansk, Hel and beyond. The room I was in was excellent, and the reception staff were very friendly. It was relatively good value for money. I was disappointed in the breakfasts which were little more than a couple of slices of cheese and of ham, a few slices of bread and a small roll, and small portions of jam and honey. And there was no bar open in the evenings.
It'r right in the center of Sopot. Close to the railway station, 10 mins walk to the beach. The breakfast is quike meager.
the price the sheets were too small for the bed
It is an old hotel with very poor standard. I was not even able to lock my door.
The hotel was clean and well located The electricity failed twice, the restaurant was not open the first evening I arrived, I had to wait 24 hours for a replacement light bulb for my bedside lamp.
Excellent place for short trip to Sopot due to hotel's location.Nice and clean bathroom. TV in my room was connected badly, failed several times. Hotel staff bored and without smile, seemed to be not happy and disturbed by the guests.
We were in Sopot with our two Husky's for an international dog show. The hotel was well located for both the show and the town's entertainment area (good for our 18 year old daughter). Friendly, helpful, english speaking staff. 100 PLN for an extra bed in the room seemed a little excessive
Not much. It is handy for the centre The service was poor. The beds were not made up properly. We arrived for breakfast at just before 10am and they did not want to serve us. The attitude of staff was that they were indifferent. And, no one smiles.
Easy access to city centre. Nice and polite staff. Cleaning og room during stay not proper. Only clean towels. Not properly clean at arrival. Still: not bad value for what we payed, but some more cleaning would have raised the experience.
The woman on reception when i checked in on the evening of Friday 18th and checked out again on morning Sunday 20th was rude and unfriendly and unhelpful.
Nice room, well laid out and nice location. Balcony is a good feature Although wireless internet is advertised as available throughout the hotel, this is not the case. Unable to connect in the room or at reception. Informed this was a regular occurance. Not impressed with the reponse from the duty manager. Did not stay for the second night.
Good lacation to the center of Sopot, quite close to the beach. There are no botteled water in the room ( seems strange to me)
We liked friendly staff, good breakfast, comfortable rooms, quiet, a spa, no complaints, the hotel a good level of service. nothing
more TV channels :) & parking plaes for me was everything o.k.
friendly and helpful staff, always smiling. clean rooms. quality food at restaurant. close proximity to the beach and only 10 mins walk from town centre.very affordable in relation to sopot prices. single beds were very narrow
Nice roomey suite with nice balcony. The rooms are clean. Very good restaurant with a feel of TGIF. 10min walk to the main street and 3min walk to the less crowded beach is perfect. Nice Spa in the hotel. The room did not have a minibar. Some of the receptionist needs to be more polite.
service, good breakfast, quiet location, modern design Nothing to complane on
small room, small window, fridge out of order and half drunk bottle inside, old tube tv, no bathtub, how coluld this be a 5star-hotel?
The hotel is very nice, in a very good and quiet location (150mt from the sea). Free parking inside.
Very nice interiors, perfect location, design feeling. nothing
Fantastic location, new building, interesting design of the room The room was relatively small, the check-out process took a little long
Nice and clean room. Excellent location next to the walking street and pier. Reasonable breakfast. Reception arranged very good taxi driver at very reasonable cost. No lobby bar.
Very nice, comfortable and modern design both the hotel and the room, nice hotel restaurant with a very good cuisine very good location Too small car park/garage and needs pre-reservation balcony shared with the next door guest which doesn't secure privacy restaurant is excellent but it offers Thai cuisine only
The Bayjonn Hotel recently opened (August 2009) and is situated in a centrally located newly developed part of Sopot close to the beach, pier, restaurants and bars. Rooms are spacious with 'designer' style high quality fittings. Very friendly staff. Good breakfast in adjoining cafe/bistro
Very nice modern butique hotel. excellent location.
location location location
Great location, very nice and comfortable hotel for business as well as leisure trips. Not very nice view, but in such a location who cares!
perfect location great thai food downstairs,
Nice hotel, near seaside & city. Spa facilities were poor or not working and were not included in price.
Very nice Hotel, good restaurant, perfect location 50m from the beach No
The hotel was nice and clean. I loved the fact that it was so close to the beach. The staff was very pleasant and accommodating.
The hotel was a very plesant place to stay. It was very close to the beach. It was quiet. The bathroom was a good size. Room small although it had every thing required in it.
Very close to the beach - 5 min or less. New and clean. Big bathroom with window. Nice and helpful staff. The room was extremely small. We managed but wish it was bigger, with more leg room. Bathroom seemed almost as big as the room itself.
verycomfortable , lovely modern but discreet deccor, clean , helpfull staff , close to beach and other amenities , small rooms
Location was good, close to the town but far enough to avoid the noise at night. Breakfast was good for a budget hotel, reception staff pleasant. The bathroom was let down by having no shower curtain or bathmat - the floor got soaked every time the shower was used.
Location is perfect, few meters from the sea and the beach. Breakfast was very good and with lots of choice. Everything was fresh. Room is clean and beds are comfortible
It was near the beach and Sopot. It was quiet at night. The breakfast-room had very bad and old furniture and lacked table-cloths.There was no orange-juice, just some strange-tasting pink water. The beds were bad, it was difficult to get a good nights sleep.
Interior of the hotel, quiet place surrounded by trees etc. No.
The hotel is located in the huge, old park. Good place to stay with dogs. Safe parking place. Exellent brekfast. Very small room. Very small bathroom. In the room too dark even it is the day time. Cause of shade from huge trees.
A very nice small art / boutique hotel in Sopot. Very pleasent atmosphere, good breakfast in a funky ambiance (recommended: Morrocan-style scrambled eggs!), pleasent small terrace garden. The hotel is located in a rather shabby industrial area, some good 15 minutes walking distance to town centre. There is no TV in room, only a vintage (cool!) radio device. Pricewise rather on the higher end of scale, but worth it.
The rooms were extraordinary and the breakfast was the best in Sopot - thanks to our nice "scrambled eggs"-chef!
The breakfast, dinners were excellent, the design of the rooms n/a
The hotel is very nice and interesting. Stuff is helpful and open to any ideas you might have. Food you can eat in their restaurant is delicious and for reasonable price. Hotel location is not the best one. Vicinity is not nice or interesting. It is also quite far from tourist part of Sopot, so you have to take a taxi or drive your own car.
interesting hotel, very friendly helpfull staff. breakfast freshly prepared for us. good facilities in room. not ideally situated for Sopot, a good 20 min stroll to centre
