the swimming pool, gakuzzi, the matress and the pillows the personel
Very quiet location, excellent sized rooms with balcony, good breakfasts and extremely helpful staff Need to have a car to go to the city center and anywhere else as public transports are not plenty around the island
The hotel is really nice and very well kept. Front Desk staff are very friendly and helpful. The welcome cookie is a nice idea! The pool and jacuzzi are great and the seating around the pool is great for relaxing.
The Hotel had 50% good staff and 50% poor Staff were not always professional and helpful
The Hotel was clean, the staff was friendly, a good value for money, the cookies on the arrival, parking space. The breakfast recepcionist didn't speak anything but Italian, which i think is really bad when you work in a Hotel. We paid for a room with view, and the only possible view from the Hotel is the highway...
The room was lovely & big with a very powerful, much needed air con system. A good sized bathroom, with shower, bidet, stool & mirror for make up, a hairdryer & plenty of towels. The staff were very helpful, 2 out of the 3 receptionists spoke good English & all were handy for bus routes, maps, directions & even booking us a taxi! Location, only because it was quoted on the site as being just 'minutes' from the beaches, ferry & airport, this is not the case. It's about 30-40 mins from the beach & that's taking 2 buses. The hotel does have plenty of eateries etc by it & there is a bus stop right outside.
Easy to find after a long car ferry trip. Lady at front desk really friendly. Free parking. It was very expensive for nothing more than a roadside hotel. WiFi was really slow and we couldn't use it for that reason. Okay for a quick stopover but don't stay here for a holiday.
The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and cosy. Breakfast was typically Italian - mostly sweet things. It would be good if breakfast included more varied food.
the staff were extremely friendly and helpful - a novelty in Italy!
Very helpful staff, large family rooms, slight musty odor in the rooms, but otherwise very comfortable stay. The children enjoyed the large couch in the lobby for watching TV.
Outstanding position on the Emerald Coast. Outstanding staff for courtesy and availability. Excellent restaurant, very romantic and with high quality food Unfair quality/cost for a snack (sandwich 20€ + small beer 10€)
Beautiful rooms and very polite staff. Breakfast provided a wide choice of food. The restaurant was extremely expensive. The "private beach" was really just a small patch of land that had been covered in sand - very artificial and not really a place to spend much time sunbathing.
Cosy, nice services, good staff, quietly and good parking facilities.
The staff is really great! location for car!
This is a family-run hotel and the owners couldn't be nicer or more helpful. The standard of service was absolutely excellent - room cleaned thoroughly every day; bed changed every other day. Great choice for buffet breakfast - excellent. Nothing about the hotel. The actual place - Pittulongu - is lacking in amenities.
everything was fine
I liked the coziness of the hotel. Only 16 rooms lending a friendly atmosphere. First impression left us a little dubious but the doubt quickly vanished. No internet as of 10/2007.
Friendly personnel; near to the beach of Pittulongu; good quality/price report. Same breakfast everyday; Near a country road with some traffic;
It was very friendly, very well situated, very calm at night and the owner gave me suggestion about where to go during my stay.
The people who owned it were so warm and friendly and made you feel very welcome.
It was our honeymoon trip. We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights, liked it so much that asked for another night to stay. And would have stayed for longer time but needed to move on... The hotel is small but with enough intimacy and privacy. We had a small room but it had a spacious balcony/terrace. So it was lovely to sit there in the evening and have some wine. The environs are amazingly beautiful - the Nuragh and ancient well are worth seeing. The hosts also suggested us a couple more places to go to. Well, amazing and very comfortable place. But surely it's mainly a car location.
Friendly staff, clean and big rooms. a swimming pool
The architecture of the hotel and the beautiful bay view from the rooms. The large seawater pool and the animation around the bar area. The entire staff is very friendly. The stone beach in front of the hotel. However, there is the large Marinella sandy beach a 12 min walk away (on a stone path). The breakfast is kind of light, as often in Italy
Relaxed and casual atmosphere although we did visit towards the end of the season... A little remote and you need to hire a car to fully appreciate and enjoy the area
Nice setting, good quiet location. Nice, clean rooms. Good bed. Improve breakfast: very poor! Chairs didn't need to be removed, yet (mid september). Put hotel signs on the road, we had to look around for 30 min to find it.
the place and the view was amazing the staff was bit rude and need to improve the breakfast too basic for a 4 stars hotel
The mould in the mini bar, the musty old smell, the general cleanliness, the distance from the centre
Proximity to town. Photo makes it look much better than it does when you arrive, because it is on a small side street adjacent other buildings.
The man at the fron desk was very helpful
friendly helpful staff; well located for walk into town/restaurants, free parking difficult to find; the hotel smelt of a mixture of tobacco smoke and air freshener, neither very nice
The swimming pool area and proximity to the sea was excellent.
location construction in the area made it hard to find, roads were closed
Very convenient location, clean room, easy to find The shower head was broken & we needed to ask for a new one, bad coffee (acqua sporca), then the morning staff member was unfriendly when we asked about the coffee
Nice hotel and friendly staff. Good location close to shops and restaurants but quite far from the nearest beach-10 min by bus.
Very good location. If you want a great view over Olbia, ask for a room with balcony on the 5th floor. The comfort of the bathroom was not a 3 star hotel worthy.
The location was great. The hotel has local character and a pleasant easy-going feel. It was very clean, the bed was comfortable - everything we were looking for for a one night stay.
Location and surroundings
Terranova is a beautiful small hotel sitated in the centre of Olbia, there are many cafe and shop close to hotel, also it's 5 minut walking to embankment. The hotel is very comfortable, has nice rooms and views from window.
Staff were very helpful and hotel in a good location in centre of old town.
Near center Room too small
location, clean room
The staff was very helpful The room needs a bit renovation and a new refrigerator as the noise was so unbearable..
Breakfast :-( disappointing
The warmth and friendliness of the staff. Nothing was too much trouble. They gave 110% a more comfortable chair in the bedroom for relaxing
The staff were very helpful and friendly.
It was a practical place to stay because of its location. The room was v basic and decor poor.
Clean! Fresh towels everyday. Busstation in front of the door, but one needs a lot of patients. Bus services are very irregular, or sometimes don't show up at all, Better to rent a car if you have the possibility. A bit old, needs refurbushing. Small rooms. Small breakfast, very tasty croissants, no egs, no fresh fruits.
Most of the staff spoke English, all were very helpful Nothing
The hotel had strategic location and very kind and helpful staff. Only the cleaning service has to be improved!!! The price is a little bit high for the quality.
Fairly good location to airport Room a bit gloomy, oppressive furniture, especially cupboards. Shower was blocked and very small.
Good hotel for an overnight stop to catch the ferry back to mainland Italy. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
The location to the beach is excellent and it is easy to get to by two buses from the airport, number 2 then number 4. It is a very quiet area.
The hotel was very near a beach and it had nice sardinian styled rooms with a terrace. There was many beaches in the aerea also so you could choose. Pittolongu beach is a walk away and so is a little foodstore It would have been easier if the hotel staff could speak a little more english. The shower in our room was not good but they offered us a new one so they made an effort to help us so that is good. In the hotel description it says that the hotel has a restaurant but we did not see one the hole week. The hotel was about 12 km from the city so we needed to take the bus, but the bus back from the city stopped going at 19.30 so we had to take taxi after that. This costed arond 30 euros. It would have been nice if the last bus was going later. We regret that we didnt rent a car.
It was a great location, it was as advertised, very clean, staff is unbelievably friendly, helpful, prompt and caring. nope nothing
The hotel lived up to the write up exactly. It was in a beautiful setting right on the beach, very relaxing and tranquil The restaurant was pretty expensive
it had it's own entrance onto the beach It wasn't well looked after. on the side that you don't see in the photos it looked very run down. The room was a bit small. You had to pay extra for air con. the breakfast was very basic. For an expensive 3 star it was disappointing. I'm sure you could get more for your money elsewhere
Staff were friendly and helpful Being the off season the restaurant was closed, as were most in the area. It was also rather isolated which was a problem until we hired a rental car.
It is as we expected. All easy but clean. The bed was too soft, but ok. Quite area. Good to rest. The breakfast was poor. Unfortunately the bed was to soft, but it could be just me. The water was cold for taking a shower, after telling the hotel staff what happened, she tried to fix it. It took too much time until the water might be good, so that we left without taking a shower. We wanted to keep traveling and not waiting. The lady did not offer anything when I explained her the problem...
Proximity to the ocean
Locations. First we got two uncleaned rooms. Breakfast is bad.Hotel is old and bad maitaines.
The location a few metres from a lovely beach is excellent. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, with a good sized balcony. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and although little English is spoken, we managed to communicate effectively.
Everything is wonderfull! Room, breakfast, viewside...
Nice and spacious room, bathroom, nice buffet, the pool is nice and clean with its bar restaurant, large resort, good destination for relaxing. A nice hotel for familly and kids. Almost only italian channels, no international channels (one euronews, one german and one spanish). In the minibar, ONLY bottles of water...4 stars hotel. Almost 10 to 15 minutes from the center of Olbia, 20 euros each way. The spa and the fitness aeara do not belong to the hotel, it's private, so the access to the gym is not for free and it's not open everyday!!! Be careful. Almost 30 minutes to reach Porto Cervo, 100 Euros by taxi each way.
There wa few issues with our room, such as electrical problem & friendliness of the hotel staff at the beginning, however, by day two everything just worked out fine and we had a good time.
rooms were clean, staff was friendly, breakfast was good and facilities were good very very difficult to find when driving and its so big that its like a mze
The whole experience although only for one night was superb. We chose it because of proximity to the airport for an early morning flight but much appreciated the high standard of the restaurant, the comfort of the rooms and the smart pool and sun terrace. The staff were extremely helpful. And it represented excellent value for money No
Very modern, walking distance from airport, Sky TV, good breakfast
The best hotel out of the 100 or so I have stayed in the past 2 years. Restaurant has amazing chef: almost the only hotel restaurant I would completely recommend. Free fast internet in all rooms, clean, nice pool, fitness centre, sauna, superb staff (allowed an 8pm checkout for no extra charge, and lots of other help), stylish, and has only been built 3 months ago. So good, we are making a trip to go back to the Jazz Hotel.
The hotel was very modern in design and facilities. Very comfortable
Swimming pool, restaurant, room, service, staff, luxury, cleaness, friendlyness no
Wish to stay longer not just 1 night. Great room, food, wine, pool, staff, design...very close to airport. There should be another anotherone somewhere just on the beach
great hotel. We felt at home when we walked in the door and the staff were all excellent from front desk to maid to restaurant staff. Also, lovely view. Great location too for anyone flying out
Great restaurant !!, easy access to the airport, friendly staff only relevant as airport hotel
All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean, well maintained and had a flat screen tv with a wide range of channels available. The sun deck on the roof was also great for the morning. The breakfast was also good. Difficult to unload and reload car at check in and check out because of hotel location on a narrow street. The flat screen tv needed to be larger.
The hotel was lovely and comfortable and staff very friendly Great view from roof terrace No
Excellent staff, parking, terrace, all is clean and new, location - city center, I would visit this hotel again
The reception staff were all great. So friendly, so helpful and loads of great advice on making the most of Olbia. The room was gorgeous and clean and beautifully decorated. The upstairs roof terrace had an amazing panoramic view and the fact that the spa (though not used used) was available and so reasonable was an absolute bonus. The breakfast staff were truly rude - a shame as they were the last thing we came across before leaving and after such a great stay previously. This applied not so much to the waiting staff but those setting up the buffet and in the kitchen. We also witnessed a barely concealed outburst between two of them. Unecessary at 7 in the morning.
Cleaningness, size and comfort of the room and bathroom. Perfect location, very central. Nice view on the roof top.
The staff were warm and friendly. Breakfast was really nice but take your own teabag if you need that cuppa to start your day. Try the spa, it's absolutely worth every euro. Excellent restaurants within very short walking distance and the streetscene in the evening is really laid back with most shops / boutiques opening late. The hotel has a rooftop terrace, which is very comfortable, but be careful as the sun gets very hot up there. It's not a criticism by any means, but the rooftop terrace would benefit from a refreshing shower and a little more shade so you could enjoy the afternoon sun. Sadly, by next year this hotel will have become extremely popular and we won't be able to get a room at such relatively short notice again.
Great location and service!
The room we stayed have a great view of old town and port of Olbia. Location was perfect for hanging around.
panoramic view, location, clean rooms, breakfast buffet
This hotel was the best hotel i have ever stayed at, the hotel was beautiful the staff was exceptionally friendly and helpfull. Definently the best hotel in sardinia!
Impressive in all aspects especially the staff. Staff were friendly, spoke good English and were very helpful. Room was modern, clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful and varied. Hotel central to town centre where there was plenty of bars, restaurants & shops. I will return to this hotel when next in sardinia
The room layout and furniture
The hotel was exquisite-- it felt so luxurious and well-designed. It was also conveniently located to the town centre and so it was easy to walk to the main street as well as get to the train station or buses on foot. The showers in the rooms were amazing and the breakfast was delicious. Wish it had a swimming pool as there are no beaches in walking distance!
Frendly and very clean. Good breakfast buffet. nothing
New toilet and shower. Tv was way to small
Brand new hotel, multi-lingual staff, very friendly and helpful, good breakfast, mini bar prices are cheaper than the hotel bar :-), good location just a detail: too less storage room particularly in the bathroom (shelves, towel holder, ...)
Everything! We were delighted with every aspect of this hotel, the staff being especially attentive and helpful. There was nothing we did not like - even the fact that a large choir caused the breakfast room to overflow made our visit even more interesting and enjoyable
It's close to the city centre, has a friendly staff, the accomodation is nice and very clean.
Excellent position and very friendly and helpful reception staff
we had a room overlooking the main street and did not here any voices or noise. impressive soundproofing
The friendliness of the staff and the clean newly renovated decor of the hotel. It was also ina very convenient location either for the town and restaurants or for the beach and was only 10 mins from the airport. The breakfast was a continental style breakfast and well presented but there was nothing savoury which for me would have enhanced the options for breakfast.
Very pleasant staff to greet you on arrival.Very central to restaurants, bars etc.Near to the airport so you could stay like we did just for 1 night after a flight.Very delicious generous breakfast. Perhaps a bit noisy, but due to the location to be expected.
Excellent position, friendly service, nice breakfast Room outlook disappointing
The staff is very friendly and kind. The location is good. The room is small. The shower curtain was not fit.
The hotel is located right on the main street in the center of Olbia which was pretty convenient when looking for a place to eat late in the evening. We were only staying for one night to catch a flight early in the morning and they were pretty flexible with providing us with some breakfast before 7am. It is not possible to park directly on the hotel street and parking in the center is not easy to find.
Friendly staff The air filters need to be cleaned in the air conditioning units. The filter in room 105 looks as if it has never been cleaned and was full of stuff.
Fabulous Location, Very friendly staff, amazing buffet breakfast, great rooms which are very nicely appointed and excellent value for money
very nice room and welcoming staff!
The grandeur and the breakfast. Large, comfortable bed. The noise of the disco we experienced on the Saturday night we stayed was very annoying. I specifically booked the hotel in order to get away from the noise of the camp-site so my son could have a good night`s sleep before travelling early the next day on an important cricket tour. At the time of booking it was impossible to know whether there were any noisy discos nearby. Also the air conditioning wasn`t working in our room so we had to change room, but this was dealt with efficiently.
It is of the style and quality level that myself and my wife appreciate. The Restaurant facilities where curtailed.
Beautiful building spoilt by being right on a very busy roundabout leading to the port. Average size room but with a tremendous balcony opening out on to the street side of the hotel. Right in the heart of the restaurant and shopping area so not too far to go to find the main street and something to eat and drink. Good internet access in the room (by cable). Bit of an end of season, shoestring feel to the place (end of September). Had to leave my wife out in the street with the suitcases while I let them know we had arrived. Blank looks when I asked for help with the luggage. Eventually a luggage trolley was produced and the manager helped us transport our kit to the room. Breakfast was a little abstemious - not that there were many in the hotel! Air conditioning was not very good so I should imagine that in the height of a Sardinian summer it would be baking in the rooms.
Good looking hotel with glorious views over the harbour from the elevated balcony (we were on the 4th floor). Nice room (if a little cramped)with lots of toiletries. free internet!! We arrived in Olbia on a day when there were stalls set up in the streets and there was a fun (sic) fair on the other side of the street. The hotel was fairly full and it was only later on that this became a nuisance. The funfair did not go on too long so was not too much of a problem but there was a group of British guests who decided to have a Glee in their room with singing, chanting and poetry recitals until the small hours. Not great when you have to get up early to catch a flight! On another note I would ask when the hotel is going to do something about getting luggage in and out as those steps at the front are murder with 2 full suitcases!
nice room with seaview, fiendly staff, walking distance from centre of town, which is very attractive for shopping and dining nothing
We used the Hotel Martini as a last night stopover on our holiday to Sardinia as our flight left from Olbia on the Sunday morning and we didn't fancy a long drive first thing after packing up at the Villa. Our Italian isn't that great so it was a pleasure to be greeted with reception staff who were fluent in English and more than helpful. We arrived a few hours early and they were happy to check us in to our of our suites (we'd been given free upgrades to both our rooms from twins to Suites - always a pleasant surprise !). We were able to chill out in the bar area and treated to great, attentive (without being over the top) hospitality. On the Sunday morning the drive to the airport only took about 10 minutes. A great hotel with excellent staff. There wasn't really anything to complain about but if I was to be really picky I would say that the location isn't perfect for access to the centre of Olbia (about a 10-15 minute walk through pretty boring streets).
