阿爾古大盒子酒店

In the popular Allgau holiday region, the bigBOX ALLGAU Hotel, Kempten, Germany, is a modern four-star hotel beside the city's event hall, with stylish rooms in a range of sizes, a fun music theme running through the design, friendly service, free Wi-Fi, and a restaurant serving fresh regional and seasonal dishes. The event hall sits right next door and the centre of Kempten is close by, with the meadows and peaks of the Allgau Alps spreading out all around. It makes an easy base in any season, with skiing in winter and lake swimming in summer just beyond the fields. Kempten is one of the oldest towns in Germany, founded as the Roman settlement of Cambodunum on the River Iller more than two thousand years ago. A grand palace and basilica recall its years as a church seat, a rebuilt Roman park brings the ancient town back to life, and the old quarter invites a wander between cafés and squares. Two old centres, one a church town and one a free trading town, grew up side by side and still give Kempten its double character. As a gateway to the southern Allgau, the town opens onto mountain lakes, hiking trails and the fairy-tale castles of the Bavarian foothills a short drive away.
