I was updated ahead of time about the status of my flight.

Food wasn't too bad, stewards were pleasant but had to wait ages for water. Like the 2 4 2 layout so we didn't have to disturb anyone for "comfort" breaks.

Checking in, a few kg overweight, they made us put the excess into our hand baggage, it meant opening our 4 cases, actually moving things which weighs less than half a kg, complete waste of time, over half an hour. Complete waste of time as it's on the same plane FFS. Entertainment via iPads, poor selection of films.

kind of hard to believe my other flight through PAL was the best I've taken. This must have been an older plane or something. No entertainment minimal leg room. Must have just been luck of the draw

Getting off the flight.

More often than not, Philippine Airlines has been our airline of choice because we found their rates to be fair and flights direct and easy. Despite the fact that the PAL terminal was pretty poor, and the food on board was never really decent, we remained loyal to PAL for quite a few years. On our way back to Melbourne from Manila on June 17, Saturday, Colin, Hendrix and I were awaiting boarding at gate 10 for flight PR 209. Having flown with PAL from Melbourne to Manila (as well as with another airline from Manila to Manchester and back), we understood that the usual procedure was to allow passengers with infants to board first. Due to the lack of order (there were no clear queues in sight), Colin decided to ask 3 different PAL personnel if there was, indeed, a priority queue for people travelling with infants. ALL THREE PERSONNEL ASSURED US THAT THEY WERE NOT YET BOARDING AND THAT WE WOULD BE CALLED UPON PRIOR TO THEM LETTING ANYONE ELSE ON THE PLANE. 2 minutes later, a PAL personnel appears with signage that reads certain row numbers and begins to call out to ALL PASSENGERS FOR BOARDING. Colin swiftly rushes to the front (me and baby in tow) and demands an explanation as to why we were told one thing but are watching them act upon something completely different. I wish I was joking when I tell you that the personnel just stared blankly at us and then carried on checking boarding passes. No apologies, no explanation offered. As soon as we boarded, Colin turned to the first flight steward he saw and asked for a complaint form and told this could ONLY be done online, to which Colin requested we be given the email/web address upon take off. The seats assigned to us were on the right most side of the aircraft, a window and a middle seat. As Colin was placing our bags in the overhead compartment, the steward called to Colin from across the aisle (past the 3 seats in the middle of the plane) to introduce the purser, Jolly Bello. Please note this was happening while people were also trying to get past and get to their seats -and Mr. bello called out across the aisle, "I heard you have a complaint??" to which Colin, baffled, replied "yes do you want to come over here so we aren’t shouting over these people?". Colin yet again told this purser what the complaint was about and was asked (verbatim) "so would you like to make a complaint against THEM?" Would the correct protocol not be to 1. Apologise for any confusion, miscommunication or poor service, 2. Take some responsibility and acknowledge the complaint and 3. Maybe come approach us AFTER TAKE OFF and not while everyone is trying to board the plane? We are no longer choosing Philippine Airlines.

My dietary preferences didn't get reported right and the flight attendant was very accomodating and made me a platter of a bunch of sides whereas other airlines in my experiences just say tough luck.

I don't speak Chinese so I found their website very confusing and couldn't navigate my booking online well

As expected, the crews' service were good. Comfortable seats and nice meals.

On the way back to Singapore, there was no entertainment in each seat. Didn't expect this and never experience from my previous flight with Asiana. There was the main screen in the centre but I can't choose and the lights were on all the way when I tried to sleep. Disappointed that they didn't inform in advance. People expect Asiana as same as SQ which provides full of new equipment such as personal screen on each seat.

I liked the crew members. They were welcoming and professional. Flight fare was very good in value for waiting a few extra hours in Taipei. I could do some shopping there while I was in transit. Nice airport. The screens of my row were not working so they restarted all screens a few times. While the screens of my row worked, other rows were not working. Surprisingly no one fixed or complaint as the screens of other rows kept off from the start to the end of the flight. I felt so sorry for others.

Like what I said in "what I like", I think the connection of the screens/tablets had some issues. Luckily mine worked. I would be upset if my screen did not work during the entire 9 hours flight.

I was surprised that they provided meal for less than 1.5 hour flight. The fare was very affordable for only a few extra hours waiting in Taipei. Very happy with their service. I will definitely use China Airlines again.

Warm service from check-in to destination. Counter staff arranged, without hesitation, upon my casual asking if could change to window seating and she did it with a smile (though I've web-checked in already). Service on flight was heart-warming too!

for the flight from Seoul to Singapore, the flight was superb. In-flight services was perfect. food was excellent and the air stewards and stewardess were all very helpful and full of smiles.

Check In process at Seoul Counter. the check-in was stressful. the ground staffs insist on using Check-in Kiosks provided even when it was not working as it should be. Ended up being bounced from one staff to another.

Flight comfortable, service superb, clean and smooth flight. They went all out to make everyone feel as comfortable as they could.

Scrambled eggs were overlooked. Breakfast lacked variety. Otherwise, it was all good.

Honestly one of the best flights I had compared to my previous flight over from Hong Kong with same airline. Plane was newer with entertainment module with a huge list of movies and shows to choose from. food was the best airplane meal I had ever had. Had no issues during baggage or boarding,

Only thing I didn't like was that checking in online was impossible because I was booked from another airline (air Canada). I wish they could co-ordinate to make online booking available even though we were booked through another airline just so we had a better choice for our seats.

Great crew and comfortable flight

Delayed for several hours after boarding because of a technical difficulty with the airplane. This delay caused me to miss an important dinner meeting in Thailand and cost me extra money to arrange transportation from the BKK to my hotel.

다른 항공사 비행기에 비해 좌석이 넓은편임. USB 포트는 기본에 콘센트까지 있어서 놀람. 엔터테이먼트는 주로 한국 방송들 위주였던듯.

아시아나 기내식 괜찮다고 들어 기대했으나 싱가폴항공보다 별로였음. 비빔밥에 단무지2개 계란말이 한조각.. 싱가폴항공은 비빔밥에 김치도 주는데.. 그리고 밥 다먹고 빵 먹는다고 식기 걷을때 나이프랑 컵을 못 냈는데 다시 가지러 안옴..-_-;; 캔이랑 컵이랑 다 가지고 있었는데 다시 수거하러 와야하는거 아닌가..?

We departed on time, and boarding after we returned back to the airport the 2nd time was efficient.

The flight had to turn around halfway back - due to "mechanical issues". Arrived home 4 hours late. English language ability of the crew is appalling. They generally don't speak any other than what is in their crew manual...

Toilets were kept clean through out the flight. New and clean airplane. Good space between the seats.

Flight attendant was rude in general (serving food, drinks, answering questions), he skipped rows when giving hot towels (I wasn't served a hot towel). In-flight entertainment: limited movie selection, even more limited tv shows selection. Music section was very poor, it needs more selection with variaty, known artists, more radio channels. And music tracks should be in a tracklist form with song information, not only 1 hour-long tracks of back to back music (with no info). Meals - Mains were ok, deserts were terrible in both of my flights. Snacks were also bad, a scone and beef and cheese sandwich. Very blend, white bread only and oily. We weren't served enough bevarages, so oily and high-carb foods made me very thursty. No water fountains, it'd be great to have some around since staff does not give enough beverage and I was forced to chuck my water before boarding the airplane (the water I bought in the airport after passport check!!!!!!!) It was extremely cold.

Clean and new airplane. Good screen Nice staff good space between the seats

Prompt and customer-oriented service. Thank you to counter staff for arranging the seat change. I thought I had confirmed the seating during web-checkin but was told that there was no history of confirming the seats in the system.

A change of snack for to and fro journey would be good.

Great crew and comfortable flight

Delayed for several hours after boarding because of a technical difficulty with the airplane. This delay caused me to miss an important dinner meeting in Thailand and cost me extra money to arrange transportation from the BKK to my hotel.

Im not realize that my luggage is not direct to nagoya, so i need to claimed my luggage, re-check in and imigration in shanghai. I just have 2,5 hours to do all stuff. Thanks god i make it to onboard in time with help other passanger that let me do immigration check first.

We departed on time, and boarding after we returned back to the airport the 2nd time was efficient.

The flight had to turn around halfway back - due to "mechanical issues". Arrived home 4 hours late. English language ability of the crew is appalling. They generally don't speak any other than what is in their crew manual...

Food wasn't too bad, stewards were pleasant but had to wait ages for water. Like the 2 4 2 layout so we didn't have to disturb anyone for "comfort" breaks.

Checking in, a few kg overweight, they made us put the excess into our hand baggage, it meant opening our 4 cases, actually moving things which weighs less than half a kg, complete waste of time, over half an hour. Complete waste of time as it's on the same plane FFS. Entertainment via iPads, poor selection of films.

Toilets were kept clean through out the flight. New and clean airplane. Good space between the seats.

Flight attendant was rude in general (serving food, drinks, answering questions), he skipped rows when giving hot towels (I wasn't served a hot towel). In-flight entertainment: limited movie selection, even more limited tv shows selection. Music section was very poor, it needs more selection with variaty, known artists, more radio channels. And music tracks should be in a tracklist form with song information, not only 1 hour-long tracks of back to back music (with no info). Meals - Mains were ok, deserts were terrible in both of my flights. Snacks were also bad, a scone and beef and cheese sandwich. Very blend, white bread only and oily. We weren't served enough bevarages, so oily and high-carb foods made me very thursty. No water fountains, it'd be great to have some around since staff does not give enough beverage and I was forced to chuck my water before boarding the airplane (the water I bought in the airport after passport check!!!!!!!) It was extremely cold.

From the April 12 Sydney to Seoul flight, the landing at Seoul was so smooth, so professionally done I hardly knew we had touched ground. That Captain has much to teach all pilots wanting a higher standard to their skills and the recognition of these standards. That caption is worth his/her weight in gold, giving Koran Air a gold standard. To compare, the landing at Osaka April 12, late at night, was done by an apprentice who has much to learn from your gold star captain..

The same Sydney to Seoul flight, crossed the Qld Great Barrier Reef around 11am April 12. Having a window seat, so much detail of the Reef was visible which greatly surprised me. Beautiful colours galore. Having my face glued to the window at this time, I was unaware of cabin happenings. A male steward tapped me on the shoulder and said "Close your window blind". The beautiful scene outside my window was a first and being 76 old, likely not to happen again for me. Naturally, I ask the male steward "Why", He repeated 4 more times, "Close your window blind". Each time my reply was the same, "Why". On his last request, his voice raised, so in turn, my reply was raised. Sadly, he walked away silently, hands waving in disgust. Only then did I realise the cabin was completely black, no light seen. If at 11am, traditionally, this is a custom, a service to passengers on that particular flight, the male steward didn't say. He clearly expected to be obeyed and didn't expect a challenge. But also felt I didn't deserve a reason for his, what clearly was a demand. Would he have treated a male passenger differently. I flew economy because that is what my budget demands. Flying is not common for me but certainly a thrill that demands a window seat. I give much praise to all other staff, especially the captain landing that very craft at Seoul. At my age, years of experience allows me to be aware and notice. A beautifully presented mature female stewardess in economy, served me. When I requested a beer with the main meal, she said I will give you my favourite. I knew this was double talk for having only one brand beer left, that was a weak American beer. I watched this lovely lady many times being distracted by other staff with questions and 2 other passengers near me, asking for changes. She never blew it. And she passed me in the Sydney terminal, end of the day for her and believe it or not, she remembered me. She was not in such a hurry to get to her destination, that she gave time by turning her body, giving me a wide smile with eyes saying, Yes, I served you. You see, she's never off the job of customer service. I learned much, flying with Korean Air. Many thanks, Sally

for the flight from Seoul to Singapore, the flight was superb. In-flight services was perfect. food was excellent and the air stewards and stewardess were all very helpful and full of smiles.

Check In process at Seoul Counter. the check-in was stressful. the ground staffs insist on using Check-in Kiosks provided even when it was not working as it should be. Ended up being bounced from one staff to another.

Korean Air refused to provide accommodation for my 19 hours layover even I had two flights with Korean Air. The reason provided was simple: "We don't have you on the list". The fact that it's 8 pm and had known nothing about South Korea meant nothing.
