優點： You get what you pay for with the cheap tickets. That’s all I can say about it. Comfort was OK when you sit in the premium economy. Nobody next to me and not crowded like the back of the plane.
缺點： You’d think someone on board would speak English. The crew were just morons. They also lost my bags in the connection. Good luck dealing with baggage claim....
優點： Great crew and comfortable flight
缺點： Delayed for several hours after boarding because of a technical difficulty with the airplane. This delay caused me to miss an important dinner meeting in Thailand and cost me extra money to arrange transportation from the BKK to my hotel.
優點： The passenger in front of us thought it was a good idea to reclined their seats when the space are already tight as it is. I told them to move it up and told them I had long legs and I was cramped up in the back, they didn’t seem to care. Samuel, one of the flight attendant was extremely rude, don’t know if that was his character or he just picked today to be an asshole. While they were serving drinks, I asked him what was on the menu, when he got to me, he replied with a quick answer, “everything is on the menu, read the menu” and turned around to serve alother customers, took about 4 more before he got to me, god forbid I wasn’t chocking. The funny part is that on the menu it does said that some items might not be available, but I guess it’s wrong to ask a simple question without someone being rude to you and make you feel unwelcome. Thirdly, my wife has moment when she needs to drink something with a bubble, when Samuel was passing by, during refreshment hours, I asked him nicely, if he has Coca Cola, he replied to me, “ only coffee, and juice or tea” so I told him I need something that has a bubble, any soda, he just replied the same thing. Don’t get me wrong, but I was under the impression that when we on a plane, we are like guest and should be treated as such, why inviting us if you don’t want us there. If I was in his position, I’ll calmly reply with “ give me just a few sir, I will bring you a can”. My wife asked the lady that was serving her side, and she told her that she was gonna bring it, when the lady came out, after sometime, she forgot who the soda was going to, as she keeps asking, I raised my hand to let her know, as my wife wasn’t feeling well, but she just ignore me and kept walking. I know, I feel like I could write a book from this experience.
缺點： The seat were good, but the space was too small for me and my wife aswell. I don’t do well in tight spaces, blame it on the military.
缺點： I wasn’t able to check in online and therefore wasn’t able to update with my dietary requirements which meant I couldn’t really eat anything that was given. I was told at the airport that it needs to be submitted 24 hrs before the flight and there was nothing they could do. Really unfair and not on.
優點： Nice staff, comfortable seating and reasonable variety of food.
缺點： No information about transfers, had to transfer own luggage. On the flight back it was rescheduled the night before but not enough time for transfer and so I and many others missed our connection flights and were stranded at the airport for six hours. There weren't enough staff to handle the situation and rebook or help with customers who were clearly stressed and drum up. This was really disappointing.
優點： Even though the communication in English was quite difficult with the majority of the flight attendants, one particular attendant was super nice and went to any length to take care of problems I and other non-Chinese speaking passengers experienced. Arriving in Beijing, I was worried about the proceedings as mentioned in the negativ comment box, but an employee from Hainan Airlines went to pick up passengers transferring to Seoul and take care of the check in process.
缺點： Before boarding the flight, it was not possible to check in online to my connecting flight from Beijing to Seoul. I didn't receive the necessary information and even after I was told about it after calling an employee of Korean Air, I didn't work. The person I spoke with on telephon herself didn't understand, why the system didn't accept my attempt to check in online. That was quite bothersome since I could get a boarding ticket for my Korean Air flight beforehand. Normally I would have to leave the transit area, line up to check in, receive the ticket, go through all check-ups again and go to the gate of departure. My flight left just 2 hours after arriving in Beijing and at airports as big as Beijing, that could have been very close to not being able to make it in time.
缺點： If there are empty first row seats, with extra leg room, I don't see why you couldn't let people use them just because they didn't pay the extra $100. It's absurd that once we are 40 thousand feet in the air you would enforce keeping those seats empty instead of increasing the happiness/comfort level of at least some people aboard. Also the food quality should improve.
缺點： 2 hours delay as usual with cathay pacific - flight attendand constantly disturb you on the pr system - very limited choice of movies, mostly old and finally poor food as always with cx - the seat on the other hand is very comfortable and thankfully i forgot i flew with cx
