quiet, clean, excellent staff, gourmet dining not walking distance from town centre - however public bus stop nearby
Very poor breakfast for a 4 star hotel. One night we had dinner and the staff didn't know if we had to pay it or not.In my opipnion it is not a 4 star hotel. Breakfast and they have to train better their staff.
Good clean rooms and excellent location. Food menu not in English and no English speaking waiters
Nice room, quiet and clean. Easy to park. nothing
15 minute drive to airport, easy walk to city centre, quiet rooms, polite & helpful staff
Nice, clean room, modern throughout, wifi connection Bit noisy in the morning (traffic)
Most things I thought food in room service was poor.A fancy omelette was just eggs and nothing else. There was also no decaffinated coffee packets available
The breakfast was not as good as I was expecting, and the coffee was left in containers getting cold, not in a percolator. i would recommend hotel but not the breakfast
Extremely clean, calm and pleasant hotel, staff were helpful and informative but not intrusive. Situation of the hotel is superb if visiting Almeria.
everything, excellent hotel , staff couldn't recommend it more.
Location, ambient, fittings & design, staff and food No but it was a pity about the staining on the floors
We enjoyed our stay. The staff were excellent , as was the food.
The location was good and central in the square beside the Catedral with many bars and restaurants within a few minutes walking. Nice small hotel with friendly staff. Free internet in the rooms was a bonus if required. Spacious modern bedrooms with extra big double beds. Parking was expensive and the parking lot was very tight to get in and out of. The Catedral bell could be a little noisy although we never heard it at night whilst sleeping.
The staff were very cosiderate and thoughtful
very central but very noisey The room was very noisey no view just a brick wall over the kitchens. For a 4 * hotel not good.Towels were very old with holes in them.
Very nice ambiance at the hotel and locality Sound of locals riding motor scooters at night and grafitti in sourounding area
The jacuzzi on the roof was nice. Very interesting building. No
internet in my room with staff who would come to room to explain how to turn it on (used through television) no
location,style, staff and price
Good location. Clean room. Good bathroom. Swimming pool was closed (season?). Breakfast mediocre ((cold coffee).
The room was quiet, the bathroom large, the shower powerful and the dozens of tapas bars and restaurants in the narrow side streets around the hotel. Just a short 15 minute walk from Alcazaba. Driving and parking in Almeria is a nightmare, take a taxi from the airport. The hotel's map is unreadable, get one from the tourist office. We chose this hotel for the pool but it was closed for the winter.
It was very easy to find, in a central location. The staff were efficient and friendly, providing us with information, maps etc All aspects of our stay at the hotel were fine
The swimming pool was not clean on certain days.
Nice and confortable hotel. There is no internet in the room as stated in the description. The hotel management deliberately puts incorrect information in the description. That's mad!
Parking in premises. Minibar free (ie included) The hotel floors are a labyrinth and the walls are paper-thin. Gym machines are old and many are broken. Expensive
Feria, bullfights, drinks at the kiosco,Asador restaurant, staff helpful
staff very nice and helpful food could be better
Friendliness of staff, large double bed
Excellent space for a family of four. Very clean and the gifts for the children a very nice touch. Would use Tryp hotels again.
The quality of the room for the price
Rooms were clean and well stocked with all amenities. Parking under the hotel was handy, staff very pleasent, attentive and helpful. Breakfast was OK, although the cooked element looked a little under cooked! Sound proofing in the rooms was terrible.
The hotel was "on-spec"; gave us what we expected, with especially good staff. We liked the hotel
Fiston a particulièrement aimé les jouets que l'hotel avait mis a sa disposition
the location & price...ease of parking staff did not speak english
Our room was very clean and it had all we needed. The location wasn't too bad as it was easily reach by bus or even by walk. There is a shop next to the hotel and a car park. Everything was fine.
Good selection at breakfast Room very clean but tissues, shower gel, shampoo not replaced when they ran out
Location, near bus and rail links.Excellent buffet breakfast.Clean, tidy and good size rooms.Friendly and helpful staff. No tea or coffee making facilities in the rooms.
Clean - quiet - space - well loctated within walking distance from center Not even light in the room - it is in many hotels - the only place where you really have light in the bathroom !!!
Good central location, pleasant staff whose language skills made our stay easier.
Good location in front of train/bus station. Very close to supermarket and city centre. Friendly and helpful staffs. Breakfast did not match the price.
The hotel was very convenient for the Station which is what we wanted. The Reception staff were excellent, and the rooms and lounge areas very stylish. I felt the tolietries offered were very basic and also the "free coffee" before 7.00 a.m. appeared to stop a little earlier.
Courteous staff. Bright and airy reception area. Beautiful room with really comfortable beds and great bathroom. Nothing, it was really excellent.

Good hotel and a very enjoyable stay where the staff were very good and most helpful.
Staff were very pleasant and helpful. All spoke excellent English. The hotel is very quiet and centrally located directly opposite the Almeria train station. The room was a good size with attractive, modern decor and very comfortable beds. Although the hotel seems to have been recently updated, our room was showing signs of wear. Our bathroom sink was cracked, some of the furniture was scratched or dented, and one framed picture had dislodged from the matte and and fallen to the bottom of the frame!
The food was great and the room quite large. Communication in English was limited to the receptionist at the hotel. The rest of the staff could not communicate well in English.
Central location; air conditioning in the rooms; low price
Good location for visiting the sights. Very friendly people working at the hotel and restaurant. They speak very little english, but it allways works out. Excellent food at the restaurant.
small room and a bit smelly
Central location. Helpful and friendly staff. Excellent value for money !!
Good location, clean and comfortable, friendly staff. Good value for money. Not much natural light in the room. Contrary to the website's listing, this hotel does not have a laundry service.
Location and price Our room was noisy (faced a noisy back street)
easy to find/central
free wi-fi in rooms, hotel is located in center of town staff did not speak english, bad view from room, far from beach
The location and the front desk staff The room was very small and has no curtain to darken it during the day
Cheap and clean Difficulty in parking but thats the same for everything in that area.
The room was comfortable and the staff friendly and helpful. A little bit out of the centre.
The reception staff was really helpfull and nice, specially the man at our arrival in the night, always smiling!
Damp / smelly room.
New comfortable hotel, lots of free public parking around, but you have to unload your luggage while being double parked on an intersection. Big mall nearby with food court. Extremely polite receptionist. Easy to find hotel by car (lots of signs and on big road) but not very near centre. Good hotel when you're by car. Excellent price/quality ratio. Not near centre, but by car only 10 minutes. No pool.
Good value , clean and smart. Quiet location for a single night stop over. Would stay again. No much English spken so phrase book came in useful. A little too far away from main areas.
The friendly staff, particularly the young lady in the bar/resturant
Friendly and very helpful staff. Parking facilities were excellent, being attached to the hotel by elevators. Bar prices were rather expensive.
New hotel with clean rooms and modern finishes. Views of the mountains surrounding Almeria. Across the street from Mediterraneo Centro Comercial mall. Hotel is far from the city center. Parking in hotel garage is expensive add-on.
Staff were very helpful, rooms were lovely and very spacious. Not much public transport near the hotel. Had to use taxis alot of the time-though they were only a 5-10 mins ride to most places.
service and cleanliness excellent The hotel sign on approach could be much clearer passed twice only spotted on coming up the main road
Helpfulness of staff and cleanliness of facilities.
excellent location, very helpful staff, good prices even in the hotel's sbar/restaurant the air conditioning in certain rooms is right in front of the bed
Very centre-located although not easy to find free parking around. Free internet access at lobby (we did not use wifi-service) and friendly staff. We requested an extra bed for the child and to our surprise it is very comfortable!! Mini-bar is locked in the room.
The reception staff were very friendly and helpful with advise on parking and where to go. The location was ideal for us visiting for the Extreme 40 Catamaran Race which was walking distance to the harbour.
excellent location and very good hotel ,staff very helpful, would us again
The location was excellent. I did not use any of the facilities. The TV channels were all in Spanish. The room was quite warm and stuffy, even though I turned the air conditioning down to 16 degrees, It made no difference to the temperature. The bed seemed to have plastic sheeting beneath the sheets which was quite sweaty and uncomfortable.
near the city, bar, parking in front of the hotel (10 euros all day.)
a kettle and drinks making facility would have been nice. Air conditioning was noisy. fortunately weather not too hot but vibration did come through from other roooms when their ac on.
excellant staff - location of hotel no
The location was convenient to the old town.
the hotel is in a great location, just in the city center and a short walk from restautrants, bars, and shops The only thing missing is a parking lot big enough for all the clients, we had to pay our own parking at the near pubblic garage
Very helpful staff. The hotel car park was invaluable. You need a sat nav to navigate the locate the hotel in the maze of narrow one way streets.
very helpfull, especially the reception staff
free wi-fi in around the lobby area; great location and only a 10/15 walk to the beach
Central location, secure parking available at 10 euros per night.
Location Very Noisy young guests on the same floor.
Cheap rooms and good location in the heart of the city, close to shopping and some restaurants. Nothing memorable, but decent choice to spend a night. Rooms seemed a bit "worn" and not as clean as they could be. Bathroom fixtures leaked.
Central location close to all facilities. Spacious room with plenty of storage space. Lively bar/cafeteria on premises. The hotel is located in a small square and any sounds outside tend to be amplified. This meant that the room was sometimes very noisy in the early hours, unless you kept the window shut all the time.
The hotel was very nice and a great value for the money. I was impressed by the staff and the decor of the hotel, the rooms were very clean with modest commodities.
good location and helpful staff noisy at night
the central location, the friendliness of the staff at the reception, the great tavern at the hotel (try pipirrana - as strange as this may sound, it is an exceptional tasty seafood tapa) the non-existing parking lot to unload luggages (for check-out alone we drove around 30 minutes for a parking space)
Hotel looks new and good. Some receptionist are very rude and don't speak English (older). We had very unpleasant when we arrived. However there are 2 young receptionists that speak English and very very helpful.
Very central location at nice plaza, parking in parking house, good instuctions by staff on how to find things in Almeria. Difficult to separate Torreluz II and III when booking.
Good location, facilities, disabled facilities. In the heart of the city, obviously parking is a little tricky
everything, good location for sightseeing service was excellent will stay again highly recommended
It was good value for money. Our room was quite spacious and reasonably comfortable.
The welcome and friendly staff. Difficult to drop luggage off from a vehicle.
it was in a quiet area, and secure, some member's of staff spoke english, which help's and the hotel is close to the shop's. not to like, would be to strong a term, but it would have been nice to have coffee or tea making facilities in the room before going down for breakfast.
good buffet breakfast included in the price of the room. Also a good buffet dinner available at a reasonable rate. Some traffic noise and also some noise due to uncarpeted rooms.
It's very well situated, just in the center. service from the hotel staff , lack of real proffesionals
cafeteria on site and pool Very noisy location, traffic and other guests were annoying, no aircon or fan in the room, not very comfortable.
Location Very noisy traffic
the electric kept going off. It could do with a makeover I think it was a 2 star & not 3
brilliant hotel for a break air conditioning was poor in the room
the food was excellent the hotel should have more english speaking staff.
The food was very good and varied each day. The staff were very helpfull Some of the guests were very noisy into the early hours
buffet Rooms with uncomfortable beds
We turned up from the airport at 21.50 and were made very welcome, and was able to have a buffet meal as they were serving until 10.30pm, the dinningroom staff made us very welcome.
The Hotel was not very clean.
large swimming pools
only one night no real problems. food ok
Nice clean Hotel ,next to the beach, relaxing locating away from mass turisme. Ideal base for trips in to the mountains
The Weather Staying there
nice choice swiming pools, entertainment was excellent, food was good it got very busy at the week end which made the stay a bit uncomfortable as they did not seem to have extra staff to cater for the increased numbers
Very bad. Air condition not worked properly in hot weather.
Location and access to the beach
entertainment, excellent swimming pools Spa was poor standard and not included which was never on the booking site!!!
The staff were polite and friendly enough, but communiation was not very easy as they spoke few words of English. Howevr, they made good efforts to please. I was not completely happy with the location as it is right next to some sub-standard residential accomodations.
no the hotel yes - it was under renovation - drilling was teking place in the room next to ours until 6 in the evening and then they started again at 8.30 in the morning - additionally the drilling cut our power and lights, thw shower water was cold and when we arrived, they were still making up our room at 4pm in the afternoon - overall a very bad experience
room was clean & tidy breakfast was very good hotel was easytofind & not to far from airport air conditioning not working,no tea/coffee making facilities in room, no evening staff bi-lingual morning receptionist very good
Close to the centre of town
staff very friendly and helpful parking facilities nor very good
The hotel is easy to find, in the centre of Ameria. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Food in the restaurant was good at a very fair price The noise and smell from the street in front of the hotel
Reasonably central location. 1St room we were offered had faulty door lock. Heating was provided in this room. Second room - lock worked but no heating at all! Had booked for 2 nights but checked out after 1 night. Very unsavoury area.
The staff were very pleasant and helpful. It was a nice hotel and handy walking distance to the shops.
car parking available which we feel is necessary in the area that the hotel is located the location
We had a room for 4 persons. It was rather comfortable, everything was clean, the staff was very friendly, adviced us a good restaurant and visit to mini Hollywood. Maybe the price's too high but it was the high season - July
Family hotel - gave us lots of help and information during our short stay
The situation of the Hostal was perfect as a base for the shops, resturants, nightlife, which is what we wanted. Within 5 minutes you had the old part of the city alongside the new. The size of the room for three people was very small, and it looked onto a small yard and every other bedroom window. No privacy.
Style. Comfort. Great food. Wireless internet did not work in the room. Just not strong enough. Did work in the lobby.
I booked my stay here because the original building was used as a location for Sergio Leone's western movie 'a Fistful of Dollars'. I was pleased to find this piece of movie history had been turned into a first class hotel !
The setting is beautiful, close enough to walk to San Jose and a very short drive to some magnificent beaches. The hotel is incredibly quiet, and has lots of rural charm. The food is so-so (pretty plain, nice at times but often quite boring, and not a great variety - we were even offered the same dish two days in a row). The service is ok, but a couple of things in our room weren't working properly (reading light, door to thye terrace) and it took them several days to fix them.
swimming pool, room was spacious and very clean Wifi not available in the room, not english speaking staff, archery and many other activities were not available although they were mentionned on hotel´s website
The surroundings were absolutely stunning! The layout of the hotel was excellent and provided maximum privacy. The room was beautiful and very spacious, and the little terrace a lovely extra. No, nothing at all.
Lovely hotel.....great surroundings, very pleasant staff.
A good hotel in a great area of Spain. I would not hesitate to visit this hotel again.
Excellent suite with massive bed and even bigger shower! Fantastic, authentic lounge, bar and games room.
We loved the location. We delibrately chose this location over the seaside because we liked to have the nature right in our backyard (was awesome to watch the stars on a dark and quiet night) . The beach and town were only about 1.25km away, hence it was easily accessible. The hotel and our room were quiet and spacious. The walk-in shower and private terrace were good surprises. We took the half-board option and was perfect as we were so tired after a full-day of activities, and glad not had to go away to find dinner. The hotel had a pool, ping-pong, snooker and stable, hence perfect for a family vacation. We only had 2 small bottles of water in the mini-bar, some juice or beer would be nice. The TV was so small (actually a PC screen), and was not fun to watch the World Cup with it.
The food was excellent and a good base to explore the area
