Great view on the caldera
the staff the room is very poor, doesn't worth to the price. the hotel charge me EURO 25 per person to pick up from the port. very expensive.
Awesome location on the top of the hill drop facing the caldera. Most amazing sunset ever.
The view was breathtaking. Amazing Aegean Sea View, Volcano, Sunset...!An hotel builded in the Famous Caldera Cliffs at the higher place of the Island. The design of our room was really touching, traditional, and comfortable. We suggest this hhotel to everyone, specially couples and honeymooners! We had a great and amazing time. Thanks to the really helpful staff. Will be definitely back.
Staff was super focused on individual service and locations was absolutely perfect. All was perfect
Everything is perfect... room, view, breakfast, service...
The beauty of the site, the service, The room was very spare in furniture and decorations, the couch was not comfortable and the surface space was much too limited.
Spectacular setting, each room with an amazing view of the caldera. Great locaton - just steps away from restaurants and shops. Beautiful pool overlooking the sea. Lovely breakfast served on your balcony or by the pool every morning. We really enjoyed our stay!
the service and the amazing view! NO
The locarion was fantastic, the view amazing! Rooms were clean, spacious and the staff were very friendly. A very peaceful hotel where one can relax, we would like to recommend this resort to each and every one!
Pegasus Suites was perfect. I read many reviews prior to booking and they were all positive and I completely agree. The location is perfect and all the pictures are totally legit. It's a quick walk from Fira, the main part of the island but that's the point. You aren't in the middle of all the chaos. The room, staff and included (huge) breakfast were 4 star. La Maison right next door was a fantastic place to eat too. Rent a ATV right up the street at Seabird and drive the island top to bottom all day. That was the most fun we have ever had. The local kitty Sophie will steal your heart too. No printer for boarding passes. This is so minor who really cares.
The wonderful view over the caldera, the great location, the grate service, the resort is about 15 mins walk to Fira, the wellcome wine was great - the whole experience was great. Definitely an unforgettable experience!
Excellent location with amazing view! The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent, lots of choice. The pool area was clean and relaxing. Nothing negative to say. Pegasus was a highlight of our holidays.
the hotel, the view and the service! nothing
The location is great and the staff were friendly. The breakfasts are not 4* quality and the mattresses are terrible! The kitchenette is described as having all the necessary utensils... it doesn't - we asked for pots and pans so that we could use the hot-plate and were told we were not allowed them (don't know why there is a hot-plate if you are not allowed to use it..!)
The staff were totally friendly and helpful, even from before the start of the stay there. . The free breakfast was perfect. The location is very good, only a 15 minute walk into town. The view was amazing. We enjoyed the beautiful sunset sea view in our balcony every day. I would stay here again for sure.
location is good for 3 relaxation holidays they do not accept credit cards for final payment, cash only
like the sea view from the room, nice breakfast a main road in front of the hotel, no privacy at all.
Fantastic view, the hotel staff are friendly, the was clean and big. We recomend for everyone. Fantastic place.
We stayed 5 nights and enjoyed it very much. We decided to take one of the bigger room (junior suite) and it was the perfect choice. Our 15 months old daughter had lots of space to play around. The staff is great and the shuttle to Mykonos very convenient. Food at the restaurant was very good and prices are fair. Elia beach is beautiful, it is very clean and the colour of the watter is just incredible.
hotel is well located to visit the island Photos of the hotels are misleading. jacuzzi impossible to use and does not add any value to the hotel. very expensive for what it is.
We stayed 3 nights here in mid-September. The situation of the hotel is excellent, the little village of Firostefani is a little bit more authentic than Fira, and you can reach Fira on a very beautiful stroll along the cliffs. The hotel and the room is extremely clean. The breakfast is served in the room and was very good. We had a maisonette style room, a quite small jacuzzi next to the bed, from where we could see the sea on both sides of the island. From the hotel, you can book many different boat trips. Next to the hotel there are some excellent restaurants, we especially can recommend the Vanillia for its fresh fish and the small terrasse of Vallas for its excellent fresh juices and salads! All in all, an excellent choice! The car rental is actually free and would be a very good opportunity to visit the island. The problem is, you don't have insurance if you use this car, so whatever happens, you pay.... Also, the room is not very cheap, even though you get a good deal for the price. September is a very good time for travelling in these islands, the prices are a little bit better than the rest of the year and it is less crowdy. It is very windy, during the day no problem with 30 degrees, but the evenings can be cold, so take a jackett!
Spectacular views from west side rooms. 2 bathrooms. Free internet connection in rooms.
It's a beautifully decorated hotel situated on the cliff with the most magnificant view. Although it's 10-minutes walking from Fira, I like it even better since it's nice and quiet. Breakfast on the patio looking out the volcano is something I will remeber for a long time. When we got to the hotel there was no one there. Luckily we had a laptop with us and called the number listed on the door. It wouldn't be a problem if guests have cell phones, but with international travelers it could be difficult to make the call.
The view was incredible from our balcony, a little minus we had a electric cable just in front of it, so to take sunset pictures you had to go on the street .The breakfast was ok. We had a hot spa in our bedroom the smell of the chlorine was there but you get use to it, also it was hard to get in to with narrow ladders . We had a couple of trouble in the room which were fixed during the day while we were away (like bad sound on TV, fridge not cooling, burned bulb).Beside these ,the location was perfect for us ,away from the center of Thira , which is a Zoo when you get 9 cruising ship in the port.
The hotel staff were great, very helpful and friendly, the room was very comfortable, clean and had a nice view of the island. The water in the jacuzzi was a bit cold.
Great spa pool overlooking the sunset.
This hotel was excellent hotel for an overnight stay in Thira, Santorini. It has a good sized pool. The hotel even provided free transport to the airport the following day.
Very friendly and helpful staff, that were very informitive about their island. Room was very comfortable and hotel had great facilities, enjoyed having the swimming pool. Used the shuttle and help with making tour bookings.
It was close to the centre of the town. very convenient distance to museum and places of interest.
Katherine and her lovely family took great care to make sure everything was wonderful. A beautiful family run hotel. Perfect for solo travellers.
Handy to the main Fira area, lovely pool but the water was quite cold
friendly, helpful staff. transport to and from airport and port was really a bonus. breakfast very good
The staff was very nice and helpful With the same type of hotel the price is not so reasonble.By the way this was not the hotel i was booking. But finally everything shows that it was this one. It was a big confuse.
Hotel was in the best position, right in the main street and close to everything, loved the little balcony overlooking the main street. Staff were very helpful and the breakfast was good, would stay again.
The hotel has excellent localization. The hotel should offer more options in the breakfast.
The friendly and wonderful staff and owner and the wonderful room and view. Everything was perfect.
The beautiful sea view and the customer service was excellent. The room decoration luxury yet simple and comfortable. The wind of Santorini
The breathtaking view of the Caldera as well as the relaxing spa. Congratulations to the cook for creating tasty miracles.
my staying was amazing. The service was superb. The staff was very friendly and it will be for sure my first choice when I visit Santorini.
The authenticity of the rooms built into the mountain.Cave like very different.
Great location, fantastic views of the caldera, nice pool area. Also close to small village of Imerovigli with nice restaurants, small supermarkets and car rental facilities. Rooms were clean and cozy, nicely decorated but rather small for the price charged.
The most remarking thing about On The Rocks : the view , the location. Yes . The staff is not frendly , they treat you as if they are doing a favor to you . My complaints ( for example : cold shower ) were responded with a " I´m sorry... " and not with a " I will try to help you ..."
excellent view with good value for the money,in comparison to other adjacent hotels
Nice view from terrace of our room. At night, starry sky and silent. It takes over 30minites after put on the swith to get hot water in our room.
The gorgeous view to the Caldera - really spectacular. Minimal comfort - upgrade to the room needed
Breathtaking view, excellent location. Friendly, helpful staff and owners - especially Rosa, Gregory and Irini.
This is charming little hotel with a breathtaking view, traditional rooms and a small but wonderful cafe. Their breakfast/cafe food is home made and delicious, and the people are very friendly. This is not a modern hotel though, so if you'r looking for a snazzy bathroom or flat screen tv, then this might not be the place for you.
Nice hotel with excellent view in santorini's caldera. However the price is very high considering that there is not breakfast included.
Location is amazing. Views over the ocean and of the sunset. Room was great, quiet, and comfortable. Staff was wonderful. Helpful, friendly, and a joy. Imorovigli has wonderful restaurants all within walking distance, and is a quiet village without crowds and noise. It's close to Thira for the nightlife and all it has to offer, as well as Oia. We rented a buggy and traveled to them as well as all the beaches easily. Bed was a little hard? That about the worst thing I could say :-)
exceptional panoramic view
Fantastic view. No
I loved this hotel and the staff! I was In Santorini years ago and stayed at a hotel inland and when I came back this time I had high hopes of staying in a cave type room overlooking the caldera and after months of research I found Ilioperato and it lived up to my dream! The views are beautiful, you can walk to Fira in 30 min along a beautiful pedestrian walk way, the hotel is lovely and the staff is very helpful and friendly. Can't say enough great things! The Greek salad is delicious! The bed was a bit hard and the bedroom was a bit dark but it's a cave so I think part of the charm. I would definitely stay again!
The location was the best we saw as it is connected to Imerovigli yet is right on the edge making less foot traffic and noise. Easy access to anything we needed yet away from the crowds. Incredible view (though anywhere along the caldera is nice). The staff is also incredibly nice, welcoming, and accomadating. They made us feel very welcome. And their breakfasts were a definite highlite! The room we received was not the one pictured on the site which threw us off on our arrival. And our first night we had very noisy neighbours which were definitely noticable (thankfully they left the next morning and we did not have any other issues with noise)
The view out of this hotel villa is second to none. You can see the most spectacular sunset right on your doorstep, as you view the cyclades and the ocean cliffs right below your feet. This is what you pay for - the view. It's unbeatable. Breakfast at this hotel was below standard. Coffee was never hot, they would only provide boiled eggs and most of the time these had run out, and they made you feel as though you were inconveniencing them if you asked for anything. It's not an American or English breakfast. Just a couple of jams, boiled eggs, and some slices of cold ham and cheese. But it was adequate.
The location was great and staff helpful, The pool was wonderful The shower was small but adequate
I like the hotel design and location.
The hotel has a very beautiful commun area, a very nice swimming pool, a nice terrace with a view to the sunset, and is very well located in Oia. The rooms are big and calm. The reception gives good directions and informations to visit the island. The rooms are dark, and the one we had, the bathroom was in a cave and it smelled really bad, the smell would spread to the whole room, really unpleasant. We asked the staff if they could change us to another room and they said they were full, considering our stay was for four days. The breakfast is very poor, and repetitive. You really don t get the services, amenities, and rooms structures that you expect for the price paied. The breakfast is from 8h30am untill 10am, and receptions closes at 8h30pm.
I liked that the hotel had a pool and a sunset terrace. They were able to change our hotel room after we were displeased with the first room they gave to us which was dark, unwelcoming and cave-like room. I like that they offered us a small bottle of wine on our welcome. They told us it was complimentary because we were on our honeymoon however every person we saw check in to the hotel received one too! The people at the desk were not very friendly or helpful. The hotel was way overpriced for the amenities and services they include. The breakfast was horrible, canned fruit, packaged meats and stale bread. Our toilet was broken for a day and a half. We were on our honeymoon and very happy to leave this hotel after 3 nights and find somewhere else to stay.
Great location. Very rustic. The suite was enormous and had great outdoor space and lovely views (although not of the caldera). Quite expensive but when compared to others in Oia I suppose its is reasonable. Very poor breakfast in terms of variety and quantity. Breakfast finished at 10am - too early! They continually ran out of breakfast items (eggs and greek yoghurt) and did not replace them. Pool furniture consisted of a few comfortable sun loungers and lots of hard plastic ones which would not tilt. We used some glasses for drinks and the cleaners did not clean or replace them - they left the dirty glasses in the room.
The staff is friendly and the hotel is nice to stay. The chair at the balcony is a bit dusty and my room couldn't detect the WIFI connection.
Aethrio was a slice of heaven! The double room we had was very large with a sofa and big cabinet/dresser. The bathroom was modern and clean. The hotel itself was splendid, atmospheric, and all the rooms appeared to have private balconies. The rooftop patio had fantastic views with sea on either side including view of the beautiful sunset of Santorini. The owner was very kind and helpful. Altogether this hotel is great value for money. The hotel front desk closed by 8:30 p.m. which is just about the time you want to order a drink before catching the sunset. Otherwise we have no other complaints!
its a really nice hotel to explore Santorini, especially for watching sunset in Oia. very closed to bus station in Oia, friendly stuff and beautiful countyard. i am impressived the breakfast i had on the top stage in this hotel, facing to sea, thats amazing! the floor of bathroom was always very wet after shower but there is no mat to avoid slip, but they cleaned everyday so its not too inconvenient.
I liked the location and the tranquility of the place, although close to shopping and city center. The staff is very nice and helpful.
The had a lovely ambiance with the typical style of the white buildings with blue doors in Santorini. The water pressure was low in the shower.
The staff at the hotel were helpful. The room was a bit dated but we didn't spend a lot of time there. The location is at the end of the village in Oia which was fine as we were away for other travellers. It is on the main level so minimal stairs
Room location and view from our balcony. Breakfast was sufficient. Long climb up the stairs which are on a steep incline.
Excellent service provided by very friendly and highly trained staff. Great rooms and truly fantactic views!
Extremely beautiful scenery! The staffs were very friendly and kind. Nothing.
Peace and quiet. The view and location. Furniture and fixtures especially the shower and bathroom were antiquated
very friendly staff, always smiling and very happy to help when needed :)
Wonderful hotel staff. Great location...lovely jacuzzi. Would definately stay here again.
The location (2 mins walk from the main square in Fira) was great! The room was basic but cosy and had a nice feel to it. The staff was lovely! Also the free wi-fi was a nice thing, even 4* hotels in Greece don't always provide this. At the price we got it for it was an absolute bargain.
In Summer Time Hotel I like the most the helpfull staff, the modern decoration of the room, the clleanliness of the room and its location clode to all things needed like bus sto, supermarket, taxi station, night clubs, restaurants, fast food, travel angencies and all these a capital offers. I surely recommend this hotel either for family vations or for friends vacations.
location, staff and general feel of quality. food excellent. pool side service for drinks etc was hard to come by. excellent service when found though!
My new husband and I could not have been more pleased. This was our favorite place of 4 part honeymoon. The view is unbelievable and incredibly romantic.
Excellent personal service, excellent quality of breakfast served in the room upon request. Amazing view, relaxing atmosphere Small pool
Central location: It is close to the bus depo and town centre but very quiet (at least in our room during our stay). Convenience: There is a supermarket across the street from the hotel, it is really important to have bottled water in large quantity all the time in Santorini, because the tap water is not recommended for drinking. Size of the room: Our room is large enough even by North American standards. Breakfast room: It is large and bright by the swimming pool. You can also sit under the embrellas of the pool. Not enough furniture. There's a desk plus two small night tables, this is all the furnitures in our room besides the beds and the luggage rack. Like many european hotels, the bathroom is very small.
Staff was very friendly. Very close to town. Nice balcony. Bed was too hard. Pool was freezing!
The location and the view of the vulcano from their pool was spectacular. The personal of the hotel was very friendly and tried to do their best for a pleasant stay. First, our reservation overlaped with other reservation so in the last two nights they had to move us to another hotel. The good part was that the second hotel was nicer, at least the room and the service was amazing, just that it was located in Oia. So at the end we were happy after this incident. Another issue that we had was that at Cosmopolitan hotel we reserved a standard room, and it was sooo small that u couldn´t even move ( around 12m 2 all room with bathroom). In the first night I fell that I don´t have enough air in the room, but at the end I got used with it. So if u truly want to enjoy ur stay book a suite.
The position of the hotel, amazing... and not many steps for Santorini as my husband has knee problems Did not have a private balcony, our room was next to reception, a bit noisey in morning with staff walking past talking.
The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, the views from the pool area are stunning and you are right in the centre of town, but still away from the hustle and bustle.
Convenient location if you want to be central to Fira (not the nicest place on the island though!) We were upgraded and treated v well. Fantastic view and pool It's a bit too in the middle of it all to feel really relaxing. It's all very luxurious, but there's something of a soul missing from it (as with many of the 'luxury' hotels in Santorini
This is an awesome hotel, we were greeted upon entrance with champagne and friendly staff. The host has many recommendations for entertainment and restaurants! And of course the pool is one of the best places to sit and relax in all of Santorini! Thanks to everyone at the Cosmo for a great stay.
staff were lovely and the setting and views were stunning could not get internet access in our room
