Staff Pay for wifi
Nice comfortable bed, good linen, squeaky clean bathroom. Overall for the price it's a great deal. I'll stay here again! No internet, anywhere in the hotel. That's so 2009
The location of the hotel is good and staff are freindly
Breakfast I was sorry the pool was closed.
I enjoyed the kindness of the staff, and the comfort of the room. I would definitly recommand this hotel RAS
The Savoy was close to many eateries. The breakfast was to expensive and the choices were not good
I chose this hotel because of its location. We were hoping to see fireworks near the river for New Years and it was close and relatively inexpensive. The location was perfect and the price was fine, but had I not been exhausted I might not have been able to sleep. The walls were paper thin, so we could hear every neighbor ... ever. There was no water pressure in the shower. There was no clock in the room. There were two skinny sets of sheets instead of one to cover the whole bed.
Proximity to the train station Room was run down Room was very small (definitely for American standards, it seemed small to other European hotels as well) Bed was very hard The area this hotel is in seems very sketchy (it's the red light district) though I knew that going in.
Location is great, 1 minute by walk till Railwaystation. 4 small beverages in freezer for free. Nice swimming pool, small but not overcrowded. Nice sauna (evening working hours) Not great interior finish. Neighborhood is poor - some homeless people near hotel on the street. Jym is poor.
Friendly helpful staff, clean very nice room and excellent exercise, sauna and pool.
It was ok. Requested for double bed but apparently their double bed is two single bed put together. Very uncomfortable as it was a romantic get away for me and my partner. The joke is they are asking us to pay 10 euro for wifi. Seriously? In. 2016? We have to pay for wifi ? Dont they think were paying enough for the room? 0verall unsatisfying stay See above
Friendly and helpful staff. Nice size room. Perfect location. The noise is hell. Impossible to sleep. The ongoing construction prevents opening windows. No air conditioning. Not recommended for people who like to breathe.
Very reasonable in price, service and location Breakfast was rather poor for German 3* hotel
Very close to the train station. When you walk out the front of the train station, look right, and you can see the place. Our room was very spacious. The hotel overall was very nice inside, quite a bit nicer than we expected for the price. Breakfast was a fairly typical German hotel breakfast buffet (good assortment to satisfy almost anyone), and we found it to be a good value on some mornings. Less expensive (and good!) breakfasts can be had nearby, but if you're looking for convenience before boarding a train in the morning, the hotel breakfast is likely an excellent value. There surprisingly little outside noise (we slept with the windows open most nights). There is some light that can shine in at night, but the room had nice, heavy curtains and we were able to make it pretty dark (we're amateur astronomers and really like sleeping in DARK rooms, and were satisfied). The room had hardwood floors in the sleeping area and a tiled front entrance and bathroom. The tiles were modern, and the wood flooring was actual wood. In the end, we can find no good reason not to stay here again. All of the staff were *very* friendly and courteous. The room lacked a safe and mini-fridge, if you expect or need that kind of thing. The "bed" was two twin beds pushed as close together as possible (completely separate sheets/bedding), but this seems to be pretty common within europe, in our experience. This part of Frankfurt is a little sketchy (it *is* right next to a big train station), but we didn't feel unsafe. We've certainly been in more dangerous parts of cities. Be alert, and take the usual precautions that you would in a big city, and you should be fine. Be prepared to see homeless people begging for money; they seemed mostly harmless. The bathroom was always clean, but probably could have used a deep scrubbing (there was some mild staining in some of the tile grout).
The cleanliness in my room and the services
Hotel people were good, nice and friendly. Wireless internet I do understand that most like europ are not cheap. Basically after connect, speed is good, but this hotel, the signal is not stable and speed is so slow. This is no mean to payable system.
Very convenient to train station and close to the shopping and tourist areas of Frankfurt. Room was big and clean and the beds were comfy. Wifi wasn't free and was paid for in 12 hour blocks which is very inconvenient if you want to get up and check your mail in the morning. Neighborhood was a bit sketchy but I guess that's not really their fault. Unfortunately the biggest downside to the street facing rooms was the noise of the train station although in the end it didn't really seem to bother my sleep too much.
average at best. but then again, most german hotels are like that unless it's a 5 star or better. good for a one nite stay, two max. no a/c, no refrigator in room, tv way too small and lack of chanel choices.
Best city Location, everything is very close to the hotel, Ryan air bus stops about 3 mins walk from the hotel.1 min walk from tram/bus/underground/train station, Clean rooms, staff is friendly, free internet at the ground floor. I would definately stay at this hotel again. bit noisy but hey its the city center what do you expect, I dont think its a minus point.
Well located. Opposite the main train station and only 7 mins walk from the river.
Location excellent close main railway station and city area of Frankfurt.. Nice hotel staff. High traffic on street makes Hotel Room a bit noisy.
The funky mood of the hotel, excellent staff, unique Euro style. Loved the waterfall shower! I would have liked more pillows/blankets and more towels.
Very comfortable room and bed good internet access excellent breakfast valet parking A little bit too dark. Extra payment for breakfast is 'strange' when looking at the high price of the rooms
Excellent Location, comfort, modern design and helpful staff Price, expensive...
Superlative! Top hotel with top service and beautiful design. Standard rooms are cut same way rooms in other hotels are but with great design. To get in real touch with what hotel roomers is, better book a Select or even a Deluxe room. Valet parking is very good but no entrance to park your car while unloading. You have to leave it on the road with traffic passing by. Thinking about the hotel and the price of 29 EUR I expected more "crazy food" during breakfast. Despite this litle remarks, everything was perfect!
When I made the booking the showed that there was shuttel ,but there was not
Quiet, staff spoke english, near the train station.
The staff upgrade our room to Duluxe room as a gift of our honeyroom trip.
Poor lighting which could not be adjusted- almost impossible to shave or apply make up in the dark. Poor room layout for two sharing-no privacy for toilet. Poor wardrobe space. Internet facilities inadequate for business.
The design interior of the hotel. Very bad customer service. No business center to print important documents. First time in my life to see a respectful 5 star hotel provide a playboy Magazine in each corner of the hotel.
The spa was the real highlight and was exceptional. The restaurant was also first class. Staff were very friendly and I found the location was ideal (between the IAA site and the city centre). Would recommend and stay there again during the next motorshow in 2011. The room (although well designed and very clean) was on the small side and felt a little cramped, particularly in the bathroom.
The staff were wonderfully helpful and you could not get a more accessible and central hotel. The rooms are budget however, equipped with phones, wifi (a 5euro /day cost), TV etc. No hairdryers.
Very central in the middle of the city. Easy to find , Clean . Quite
Very polite and helpful staff. Great location. Would have been better if breakfast was included in the price.
Absolutely nothing Cleaning, house-keeping service, provide the truth about the bathrooms since there's no rooms with bathroom
Close to the railway station, shops and restaurants. Cheap, clean very convenient for one of two nights. Breakfast was basic but very nice. The pillows are extremely flat and uncomfortable. I was charged 10 euro to connect a second device to the Internet.
Efficency, centrality, value for money Unfriendly staff.
Good location, near by Frankfurt Main Station by walk, its only three minutes. A little bit noise at night time because of other guests. There are sounds from heater pipe when you open it.
Everyone was very helpful, friendly and went out of there way to help. It was by far the nicest hotel during our trip. Location was great, close to everything. The hotel was very clean.
Very modern and super clean.
Excellent location right beside the train station. Nice and clean room. Quite reasonable price.
Distance from Railway station , Free Internet, Cleanliness, helpful staff. Size of room was small - but manageable
Great hotel - great value. Very friendly staff.
convient, nice, clean, friendly, no clock in the room and rough tp...
The staff -- extremely outgoing and helpful. My special thanks to Ms.____ Christiansen (main desk) for her kind help in securing a room for me prior to the regular check-in time. Also, Mr. Apos ______, manager of the hotel's bar, recommended a Greek restaurant in the area which turned out to be an absolutely wonderful dining experience. My sincere thanks to both of these dedicated employees.
Friendly staff, hotel was clean with breakfast selection and presentation both excellent Like all of Frankfurt, seriously overpriced during the Bookfair, it can't be long before the organisers look to move it to another town.
it was close to the city center, thus very convenient for my movements the central heating didn't work
staff very pleasant, good location room very basic indeed and paper cups provided with tea and coffee facilities in room from a supposedly 4 star hotel ??!! very disappointing for a 289 euro a night stay.
The hotel did not have toothpaste as a 4 star should. I pointed this out and the guiy at reception was rude. . At 338 euro for the night it was at least three times too expensive for the quality
Typical middle class hotel. very good value for money. excellent location. adequate breakfast
Stayed here for the second time in Sept. 2010, and this hotel cannot be faulted, plus they have the best bartender with an amazing knowledge of wine, Apo! Very convenient location close to main train station and short walk to river.
Rooms v comfortable but a bit too warm Breakfast very expensive - no options just set 29 euro
good location, I like big hotels breakfest prices and quality, it's not for 5 star hotel level.
the rooms did not have high speed internet connectivity. very surprising for a business hotel. the hotel consisted of 2 towers across the street from each other - the one across the street had inferior amenities
We were in a large group and we were individually attended to swiftly and courteously. Our room was well prepared and comfortable. A big positive was that we did not have porters bothering us to take our luggage when we were more than capable of carrying it ourselves. It would be good to have an a la carte menu for breakfast as it is expensive if you only want a light meal.
Rooms are comfortable. Modern hotel in a good city location for the Xmas market. Bathroom a little small for an expensive hotel. Bar prices are very high. Breakfast prices also very high 29Euro per person. We ordered room service for breakfast - croissant x 2, jam etc and coffee for 15 euro, the croissants were mini croissants - so again thought this was very expensive for not much.
the way for helping you for the best. this hotel you fell you are in your home evry think was good.
room comfort breakfast is tooooo expensive.most people don't have breakfast at the hotel especially if you have a big family. hotel can make more money if breakfast was more affordable.
Convenient and efficient. Expensive breakfast, so room service options were better
i liked that it was walking distance from city centre and provided descent services the cleaners were turning off the heating after cleaning and the room was cold in the evening when i was going back
Location. Near station and city. Could walk to most places. Quiet.
location, clean and quiet room, huge bathroom, worth for money, free internet connections small room
They had free wi-fi and coffee. Location was convenient and staff was really helpful and friendly. The buffet breakfast was a bit too high.
It is very convenient for the main railway station in Frankfurt and at a good price.
Friendly, no long wait There was no airconditioning, just a fan on the table. When the weather is hot, that is not so nice. But it may come with the prize level it has. I could live with it.
The hotel offers excellent value in the city centre of frankfurt
Helpful, friendly staff with good english. Lovely room, clean with well stocked mini bar. Great bathroom. Good location close to main railway station and a straight run to the Frankfurt airport.
clean, comfortable room, quiet area, convenient, a very nice experience it was very warm and it would be nice to have room fans, but this was a minor problem
The location Small bathroom
The welcoming and friendly staff and high standards in all areas Would have liked to be able to make tea and coffee in room
Excellent modern design of room; Staff very helpful.
An excellent name and the staff at this hotel certainly held up to their reputation. I would certainly recommend this via booking.com since typically you will find a good value price.
The superior room was wonderful, very spacious, with a nice view to a round-about with trees, traditional old German houses and scysapes. Frankfurt in sum! We waited a lot to do the check in. Maybe because it was prepaid and not refundable!
They charged our card an additional 700 USD without authorization!
Situated very close to the railway station freindly staff
Going out in the evening to pastures new I have stayed in Le meridien Hotels in Frankfurt and Koln this hotel does not come close to the standards at the others
Style, quite, service
great location for what we needed to do and see lots of road works right outside...glad we were there on the weekend
Close to the main Train Station
nice and quiet with friendly staff. The bathroom was tiny! Also, the breakfast was so-so.
cleanliness in the room, design of room, friendly staff location of the hotel
The staff was lovely. Only 10mins from train station. It was value for money and ok for a night. Rooms very very small. Recommend only for an overnight stay
Fair enought that they charge a fortune duriog the Book fair in Frankfurt but I would then expect that the service is better ( iron, web, TV) When I order an iron, it would be good if I got an iron board with it :). Foreign newspaper, umbrellas when it rains, etc.
i dont really have nothing that i liked considering the price i paid
The room was clean and prepared upon arrival. The bathroom was clean and had shampoo, hand and bodywash in it. Hot water comes fast. The breakfast menu was excellent if you keep in mind that you're not staying at a 4 or 5 star hotel. The staff is friendly and cooperative and the receptionists spoke English very well. There's a supermarket very close to the hotel and a pharmacy further down the street. It's 2 kms away from the main train station (which takes you every where), that was somewhat of a long walk for each time we wanted to go somewhere. Even though Frankfurt is a safe city, you'd feel uneasy walking there at night; the weather doesn't make it easier (Nov,). So sometimes you're forced to take a taxi either to the train station or wherever it is your going, but Taxi's are expensive there.
Abt. 15 min walk to the central train station. Near enough to walk but away from the noise & business........... A lot of "Halal" joint nearby!
Very good room - spacious, clean and well appointed. Very good choice at the breakfast buffet Reasonably priced. The hotel has a pleasant little bar but it is never open. It would have been nice to have had a relaxing drink after work.
it was perfect, very clean good price and good brekfast location, 20 minute away by foot from the center and the metro was 15 minute away..
Nice breakfast, clean room. A little bit far away from central station exit.
Newly tiled & re-furbished en-suite, spotless. Good location for train station travel; yet manageable walk to explore city; excellent over-night stay.
The Breakfast is excellent
The staff were very good. I put poor for value for money because I'm fed up paying such a high premium for book fair rates. They are too high. I was also surprised that they charged for internet connection, this should always be free for hotels in business districts, but like the book fair room rates they are taking advantage.
The room was decorated in a modern style and was spacious. The hot water pressure in the shower was excellent. Apart from the curtain issue, it was good value for money. The only window dressing was a net curtain, which did nothing to block out the street/security lighting outside - as a consequence I got very little sleep.
the location, close to the train station the room is not easy to go to-lots of stairs........
I had problems after my my stay. I asked them to fax or e-mail my bill but did not even respond my mails. This is really irritating, they don't care...
Access to center
Breakfast Noise from street was to loud
reception, taxi to the airport, breakfasts it was little bit noisy. The next time I will order the calmest room in the hotel.
The room was clean, and comfortable. The road access to the hotel is not easy, but that is because of the chaotic road system in Frankfurt, not the hotel's fault
Low price Uncomfortable bed, noise
proximity to the train station and trolley was the only positive. This "motel" is located in the red light district. DO NOT BRING YOUR FAMILY HERE. No Children!!!. The entire place smelled like the Korean restaurant downstairs. My entire room smelled like Kim Chi which to me, smells like burning garbage. I had to keep the window open the entire time just so I don't throw up. The room was a low end motel room. The TV was more like a computer monitor and only a few channels. If you need to use the iron for your clothes make sure you have 5 euros on you. Its the deposit. They must have a lot of guests steal the irons out of sheer anger. I couldn't figure it out.
Location, friendliness of staff, breakfast
Very convenient! A little bit noisy
I liked the multilanguaged helpfull staff, fast and proper problem solving. The hotel has good connection to the airport and city center, good location for shopping and city attractions. The room was not too big but enough for 2. Breakfast has not wide selection of items, however is fresh and serving ledies are polite and helpfull.
It's a budget hotel, yet clean, simple and tidy. Breakfast was unexpectedly good, esp with such package room rate. The area where the hotel is a bit unsecure. Hotel is not air-conditioned makes it not a choice for me during hot season.
Free internet connection at hotel lobby noisy at night, people walking down corridors slamming doors and even more noise afterwards
Excellent Central Location
We've spent there 3 nights. It was excellent. It's very close to the main station and from there you can get anywhere very fast and easy. Big and clean room, big bathroom, confortable bad, hot water, good heating... breakfast ok.
The sound of the door closeing on the way out !
The room smelled a bit of cigaret.
Location of the hotel was excellent as it was just a short walk from the main station. Ideal for a first timer in Frankfurt. breakfast was good. though the request was for a double room it was arranged for single occupancy which was corrected immediately upon calling the reception.
near to frankfurt hbh cleanliness
It was next to the central station. Also to be able to use the luggage room after checking out was great. The area (parking lot) between Hauptbanhof and the hotel was a bit rough. But one can not blame Hotel Minerva for that.
convenient location for my business no business support services
very central...clean..efficient staff..good price.
the atentionof the reception staff...was so good the ducha the floor of the chower is dangerous becouuse is not flat, l a tolking about the inside part,, you most put a singn that will be the solutionmay be like (see your steps ) but every thing very nice
Convenience Too close to the red light district
Nothing. In fact I checked out on the next day imediately. the location, the elevator, the restaurant.... no car park.
Friendly staff Room size.
Reception staff were excellent Hotel seems to be an ethnic franchise. The downstairs seems scruffy and I had stomach trouble after eating the food. In addition the hotel is on the edge of the red light district. The local area has a lot of drug addicts.
Staff were very helpful, offerred an upgrade to air-conditioned room which was well worth the cost. Central location excellent.
The location of the hotel is attractive , wonderful staff Breakfast needs more variations, double room is narrow, very clean,
clean room with spacious bathroom and enough towels and soap slow elevator
The room is very clean. A good Chinese restaurant is close to the hotel. Most of staff were friendly and helpful, but one staff lied to us. When we wanted to check in, the staff told us there were some problem with rooms and he located us a room in a 4-star hotel which was far from the main station. However, when we intended to cancel the reservation, he gave us a room in this Corform Hotel.....
The friendliness, helpfulness and courtesy of the reception staff were exceptional One would have expected a lounge in a **** hotel
I like vew from my window,it was very nice.
location the single room is more of a 2 stars hotel
close to city center, renovated rooms.
It is next to the railway station and conveniently located next to many restaurants.
Location I was charged for additional night I haven't booked
Close to station. Very new furnishings to rooms. Nice reception area. Breakfast was excluded. AC was poor. Street outside noisy on 1st night with bin lorries.
I was staying in a room facing the street. The noise from the trams passing by was unbearable. It was awfull. I couldn't get any sleep. I requested a change of the rooms but I was was told there weren't any available. Most bothering was that the reception clerk told me that with the windows closed the noise can be hardly heard. It seemed like a mocking after the night ...
Place of hotel is good but sometime is not safe.
we thought breakfast was included, but it was 15 euro each extra,we did not have it and had to walk miles for some food.
location they didn't cleaned rooms for a 3 days, and only after 3 complaines
The decoration of the premises, the breakfast, the comfortable beds and the room prices.
We stayed here for one night after arriving in Frankfurt. The hotel is fairly close to the airport, was very clean, and gave us a delicious complimentary breakfast. Only thing to keep in mind that we didn't know before is they don't have free parking. It was 12 euro for one night, so keep that in mind. We had to pay 12 euro for parking.
Pet friendly, convenient access to Motorway, secure parking Cannot cool the room down in November. heating was set way too high preventing sleep even with window open
We made the reservation for a double room and got a twin room instead and the staff were very unfriendly about it although we made the reservation 2 almost months ahead
Staff were friendly and helpful Hotel was basic but the price reflected four star which this was not by uk standards
Good location, clean, good staff Breakfast is too poor. Only cold, with limited bread choice, yoghurt, coffee/tea. by 10:00, bread is almost finished and was not refilled. Parking is too much, 12 euro/night.
New or renovated hotel, hotel parking, close to railway/subway station, possible to reach city center on foot. 1. location in a industrial area (but german industrial architecture is worth to be seen) 2. closest connection with city center - bus station with wery rare traffic.
the only good thing is that its near the train station the breakfast below average, no room service after 6pm at all. noises from inside the hotel, bed is very small in bouble room, no any fasility in the room, no closet in the room
The hotel is in a very quiet area. The rooms were very clean with a modern decor. We appreciated the tea/coffee making facilities in the room. The room was a bit small so I do not recommend it for long stays.
The pleasant, accommodating attitude of the staff. The breakfast was very good with a great selection of items. The twin rooms are quite small to house two people.
The staff were very helpful and went out of their way to make sure we were ok. very helpful with directions and what method of transport to take to get into the city. The only thing that was a little annoying was that there was only one pillow per single bed, so sleeping was a little uncomfortable. There should have been at least one spare pillow in the room to cater for different people's comfort. Other than this everything about the room and Hotel was fantastic 10/10
Room very small, the door is difficult to open by key
Simple Room, Friendly Staff, excellent Location for food, easy acessible for transportation
The view, light in the room.
cleanliness, breakfast, location cigaret smell in non-smoking room
Location is great. Room is small. If you have more luggages, no much space left.
The hotel is very conveniently located, only a few steps away from the main station. It is very clean and although our room was located at the main street, it was not noisy at all and we had a very good night's rest. The breakfast was very good. Staff were very friendly.
The hotel is very clean and quiet although its located in a busy city centre. Its so easy to get around Frankfurt from the hotel. The wireless internet coverage offered by The Cloud was no good at all. You can only get the coverage in some part of the hotel, eg at the hotel lobby. This is not acceptable consider its not a free service. The hotel should have their own wi-fi solution.
A very pleasant hotel: friendly & helpful receptionists, a comfortable, quiet room with a superb bathroom, an excellent breakfast, & a most reasonable price!
The room was new and very clean. The staff was rude.
The hotel has very nice interior design and the breakfast was excellent.
Friendly staff, exellent location, nice rooms
Snacks facility and freeintrnet in bussiness No
Very close to Frankfurt Main railway station.Helpful staff, good choice of breakfast items.
It is located directly opposite the train station, wonderfully convenient for an interim stop.
Free mini-bar, availability of newspapers, availability of internet, good breakfast The carpet in the room I stayed in (461) looked quite dirty, as if it had been there a long time. Everything else seemed very clean. The worst thing was the heat. That was probably one of the warmest rooms I have ever stayed in. The window opened onto a narrow air shaft, so not much circulation.
Very good location. Nice breakfast and kind staff. Each room has free mini bar!
very good rates during a busy exhibition time. The reception and breakfast staff were very helpful and cheerful. The bedrooms were large, clean and well equiped. Each morning there was a very good selection of food for breakfast.
Easy to get to/from airport, clean, comfortable rooms, outstanding breakfast and courteous, friendly and helpful hotel staff N/A
Clean, comfortable room. Excellent sauna facilities.
the hospitality of the people from the front desk cleanliness of the room
The free wifi, mini-bar (juice, soda, water, and beer), and breakfast were good. When I showered the water would go down the drain in the tub and then come back up the drain on the bathroom floor and flood the bathroom. It was gross. I asked them to clean the bathroom floor so they dried everything, but they did not fix the issue with the drain. The rest of the room was clean.
The location, the price of the room, friendly Hotel staff
Good location. Great breakfast and free Wi-Fi with free mini bar!!! The room was very old and warm. No AC (may be not for my room type ) but the windows won't open, curtains were very old and weak!! It was very difficult to sleep especially in summer. So be mindful. Otherwise great.
Free mini bar Free tea coffee cake fruit till 7 pm Nothing
Even though the location is on the other side of the train station the noise was keept to a low levev. Bathroom shower was very small.
really great value for money
They offered free mini bar included on the price. Some staff were not helpful.
in Reciption jarman man is not coperative
Central location across from train station. Free mini bar. Good breakfast. Small rooms
Location, Breakfust & Rooms. Good facilities for looking after luggage after check out. The Lift - too slow
