Loved the look and the set up and the modern rooms The people who run the hotel are super unfriendly. They 'lost' my reservation and didn't care to find it until booking.com called them. They also refused to move their Mercedes out of the circle drive so we could get through and instead told us to back into the busy intersection
Clean sheets. Lots of space. Great location for the price. Do not drink the water from the tap or the free coffee from the continental breakfast. Stayed there for three nights with a friend. The first night we celebrated with some old friends and thought we were just hungover in the morning. We drank a lot of water from the tap trying to counter the it. The second morning (not hungover), my friend and I drank a few cups of free coffee while waiting for a friend to pick us up. Both of us got the shakes, sweats and felt nauseous. Didn't put it together until the next morning when I drank more of the free coffee while waiting for a my ride to the airport. Same symptoms. My driver told me he had another guest from the hotel say the same thing.
Location, the renovations were skin deep and didn't extend to the $150 a night room I was in! The need for some paint and attention to detail were VERY evident. The front desk staff was unfriendly and unhelpful. NO facilities other than a tiny pool and a truly dreadful continental breakfast area.
The location is awesome.Albin, the employee at the front desk was extremely helpful. The hotel needs renovation. The brekfast is a disaster:(
The hotel is direct in the heart of Hollywood. Friendly stuff. Big rooms with kitchen.
Location, friendly staff, complimentary breakfast and all day coffee.Very good choice would stay again.
Friendly and helpfull staff, clean rooms and a great location.
The staff were very friendly, helpful and efficient.
Location, off road parking
location & free parking
every thing nothing
I think this hotel is good location, near hollywood bvd, and cheap for hotel at good location. There is no bell man, and breakfast is fair..
Great location, close to a metro station and to a tourist bus stop. Coffee and tea at the reception 24 hours. All the staff very friendly and helpfull. Always smilling and trying to help you which I really appreciated. Breakfast very basic but not a problem for me. Some hotels around dont offer breakfast inclusive.
Great value hotel in a great location
I got a free upgrade to a suite. The low light in the foyer was ridiculous
The staff was friendly, attentive and available for all our needs.
The room selection was fulfilled. I have been staying at the hotel for almost 15 years. Fan Coil Unite was noisy.
The location ws great! No bathrobe
The location was great. The room was a little small, but had charm. We were comfortable there.
Had problems with lock system on door. Maintanance man came, removed complete door handle and then disappeared. After an hour waiting we needed to go out and security were most unhelpful but finally came and stood by door so we could leave room as there was no way we could lock it.
Very close to amenities and entertainment relating to my stay. Construction and hammering started very early in the morning so I never slept well. With jet lag on top of it, I came home totally exhausted when this was to be a relaxing few holiday days. Also, my window looked out onto the roof of 2nd floor and workmen could peer into my window. As a result I had to keep my curtains closed at all times. I did not get to enjoy the daylight. Room was very small and not altogether clean - dirty carpet and automan. Certainly not at all what I was expecting from a superior room. Overall not a great stay.
Central location in the Hollywood area. Beautiful interiors from lobby to restaurant and inviting exterior areas around the pool and outside bar. Excellent and fast service all over. One night when we had a little plumbing problem : ) in our toilet, the janitor fixed it within 10 minutes. Could definitely book this hotel at my next visit to LA.
place was very clean and good size room. The biggest restroom in any hotel in hollywood so far, comes in handy when sharing a room. Everything was close by and in a nice neighborhood. Would stay here again. You could hear everything in the hallway. But everyone staying on our floor that night was not that loud when walking through the hallways. I know that supply and demand is the way the hotel rooms sell but $180.00 + $20.00 for one night on a week day was a bit much for me.
Loved the diner on the property. Food was fabulous!
I liked the spacious shower, and that they had fridge, micro and coffee in the room. We never had a chance to try the coffee shop, but enjoyed the stay overall. Didn't bring my bathing suit or I would have tried the pool. Our room was clean, comfortable bed. We would stay here again.
I booked a stay in early February, more than 3 and a half months before my actual stay the the Best Western Hollywood Hills. Upon arrival, I was asked for a "voucher" and supplied my email confirmation. After looking over the email for 15+ minutes, the receptionist finally told me that they had overbooked the hotel and would have to send me to a partner hotel for the night. For my troubles, I was given 2 breakfast vouchers and my cab was paid for. The partner hotel was over 20 minutes away, putting me further from my location for the next day. The partner hotel was the "Beverly Laurel Motor Hotel" an extremely dated and generally unkempt motel. I was thoroughly displeased with this room, as well as with the adjacent greasy spoon diner. Had I known I was going to end up in this roach motel, I never would have booked through Best Western. I highly suggest booking through a different hotel, not worth the risk of being overbooked. In all fairness to the BW Hollywood Hills, it did appear to be fairly nice. Unfortunately, I didn't have the luxury of staying here.
The hotel has a great location. The room was very bice and clean and we even had the view of the hollywood sign. Overall, very friendly staff and great place
Stayed overnight, we had to do somethng in the area and needed a place to stay close to our event. Everything went smooth,: booking, confirmation, check-in & check-out Nice place to stay in Hollywood, very Historical-Retro vibe.
We really liked the restaurant at the hotel, so nice not to have to search for a restaurant to eat at. Great food.
Room and bed was very comfortable Shower is big but curtain is very small so it is cold when using the shower and the floor outside gets all wet
I didn't expect the rooms to be as spacious as it was. The room was great, the staff was very helpful and the location to the boulevard was unbeatable. Also, it's located next to the best doughnut shop in LA Kettle Glazed Doughnuts.
GREAT LOCATION, AWAY FROM THE BUSY PART OF TOWN, IN NICE RESIDENTIAL AREA. PLACES TO EAT, SHOP AND EXPLORE L.A. NEARBY. FRIENDLY ACCOMODATING STAFF AND CLEANING CREW. EASY TO GET TO. NOISY DUMPSTER(S) SERVICES BELOW ROOM WINDOWS.
Loved the location and being close to everything in Hollywood. The restaurant downstairs was also pretty good. Unfortunately, the Internet/wifi was down all morning until we left at our checkout time. Other than that, things were good.
location, cheap self parking $15 , but no in n out privilege staff very rude at front desk, design in room terrible. Everything is so outdated . water pressures low. For this price you can find better hotel in hollywood. don't stay here.

Location and friendly staff Parking fees
We used to like staying here while we wait for our house to be move in ready. But the GM treats us very poorly as he found out we were using the secret deal. He insinuated that we've done something since we know what hotel it is The GM clearly does not want us here anymore. When we first started staying here, they kept us in the same room. Now as we have new reservations, they make us pack up, check out and wait for several hours to check back in

cheap public parking next door (15$ daily max) rooms show signs of significant wear & tear. front desk unfriendly
The location Staff was rude
Easy access to Walk of Fame,Hollywood Bowl and restaurant.
Location was amazing and the friendly staff. Entering and exiting valet is tricky.

The hotel just can't make up its mind on these fees. They didn't charge us any extra fees when we first started staying here. They charged us $25 for the service dog and $25 for the extra bed fee and now $25 for extra person fee We extended our stay a couple days BC our house isn't quite ready. they made us check out by 11am & couldn't keep us in the same room. 6.5 hours later we got into a different room. GM told us today we can't stay here anymore after this reservation
Location perfect. Room clean. Bathroom real nice. Upgraded to a view room. No
Nearest at hollywood museums and stores. day manager cain and help in your strip of city.
The hotel is on sunset boulevard just 5 minutes walk of chinese theater and walk of fame. The hotel is really way too expensive. Rooms are common and small. We had a room on the 3th floor and it was so noisy! Breakfast is just coffee and donut's. There are better hotels in hollywood for this price.
The hotel was central to all our needs. Very friendly and helpful staff as well..This all made our stay a very pleasant one. n/a
location near walk of fame, close to Universal Studios Breakfast was very simple, very noisy hotel
location, location and location. value of money hotel look tired down
Location was perfect. Walking distance to Hollywood Blvd, and also very close by car to Bevelry Hills and Melrose Street. The room was nicely decorated. Good breakfast, and friendly staff. The hotel as a bit noisy. The floor was making noise when someone walked in the room upstairs, and if people talk outside, we could hear it. The 2nd night, the airco of another room made a lot of noise. But we informed the ftront desk, who said they will check it. But5 besides the noise, all in all it is a greta pl;ace to stay in Los Angeles.
the bedroom and the local
the size of the room, easy access by car, location of the hotel the choice of breakfast could be improved
Location - could walk to Walk of Fame. There's no airport shuttle!! They confirmed there was a shuttle. We waited for an hr. The very rude receptionist hardly speaks English and doesn't always answer the phone - beware. The breakfast was disgusting and all cheapest food you can buy and about 10 chairs only and in the hotel reception!! Not a classy place to stay. I wish I'd stayed in the Universal hotel instead or at Venice Beach.
The room was very clean and kept like that for the entire time of our stay; location was very good since the hotel was very close to major attractions in hollywood; you could make your own waffles in the morning - breakfast room way too small . it is not even a breakfast room . it's 2 tables in front of the reception area ; hotel very noisy (i am not sure if it was the air conditioning or something else but it made a lot of noise in the hotel )
Hotel has some quirks. It is very easy to lock yourself out of the bathroom by inadvertantly pushing the lock button when exiting the bathroom. In addition the bedframes are made of hardwood and are very easy to walk into.
Parking is not included in stay. $32 a day.
We enjoyed our stay very much. We were there to be on the Kelly and Michael show after the Oscars. The staff could not have been nicer our room was clean and comfy. I would like to give a shout out the the bartender (Chris). He was very friendly and helpful. We quite enjoyed our conversations with him. Can't think of a thing.
Extremely friendly front desk staff who were helpful at all times. The valet manager was also extremely nice and always very pleasant. The rooms were clean and updated with a microwave and fridge. There was always coffee, drinks and a snack out by the front desk. A very nice hotel and reasonably priced for the location. Will definitely stay there again if ever in the area. There was a valet and fee to park each day ($32!) but since it's within walking distance to walk of fame I understand why they do it so tourists don't park there.
Very clean and comfortable room! A large number of towels that are changed daily, clean and high quality linens. The feeling is not the hotel and the home of relatives! All you need is in the room: coffee maker, microwave, refrigerator. I hope that when I come to Los Angeles in October, my dear room will be waiting for me! Breakfast, but there are many restaurants and cafes near the hotel , including the clock. Fridge in the room was needed in order to store food, rest after dinner (huge portions at restaurants), and then perfect breakfast!
Perfect location, very close to Hollywood Blvd (Kodak Theatre). Friendly helpful staff. Very simple breakfast, but good enough to get the day started. Pool not worth swimming in. Very basic hotel but good value for the money you pay.
Breakfast included. Location to Hollywood Blvd excellent. More expensive than downtown LA
Close to shopping and attractions. Clean and professional. The room I stayed in 205, the shower does not get hot, just cool. Some thicker towels would give more of a high end.
Incredible location, confortable beds, free high speed internet Lack of options for breakfast
Free internet service, free parking, Location is excellent. Room and breakfast, cost
Clean and well situated (near to Hollywood boulevard). Price to high (for me).
The location.I hadn't realized it at first, when I was booking the room for my trip, but the hotel is situated literally 5 minutes away from major touristic sights in Hollywood and metro station Hollywood&Highland. And at the same time you won't be disturbed by the thousands of tourists at your doorstep.I was surprised that the service was really good, considering its price and location. I think that the combination of price, location and service is what makes this hotel one of the best of its kind. The stuff is very sweet and helpful. They are eager to do their best to make your stay the most comfortable and pleasant. I would personally like to thank Mudgi (sorry, if I misspelled the name) for his warming smile and helpful advises.Super! No, everything was just fine.
Not much...but the room service for food was prompt...food was so so... The service wasn't very good...I called and asked for extra pillows and had to call again and even then it took them over 2 hours to get them to us. It was definitely over-priced for what we got..no view of anything but another building.
Front office staff were helpful. Far too noisy. Every car that went past can be heard plus endless police sirens etc. Easily fixed by double glazing. Also corridors and courtyard etc were not clean. Minimalist furnishing is fine but it could include another rubbish bin in bathroom and one more chair as there is nowhere to put luggage during your stay.
It was a comfortable well-maintained hotel with a cool attitude. The staff were helpful, and the location well connected to other parts of the City. Wifi was definitely a plus!
Hotel was located just a few blocks from LA live area and restaurants. Very clean. This hotel was more trend than comfort. Bed was on the floor and bathtub was in the middle of the room. Staff claimed it was an upgrade!
Advanatges: location, value for money. Disadvantages: glass wall of bathroom make fillings as you washing in room itself. We found it wried. Expensive minibar, low position of bed and TV set. Poor room noise isolation, we heard everything what happening in corridors. Very poor restaurant downstears. After dinner we didn't tried to have breakfast (cream soup was very bad). Location, design.
the room is nice. location is perfect. Lobby needs complete make-over
Very clean and tidy room, friendly stuff, close to subway station The shower was in plain sight of the rest of the room (glass wall) which is something that is only recommended for couples.
The design is amazing. If you are an architect, this is the place to stay. This is also a great place to stay in LA if you are doing business in downtown. Not the best place to stay if you are on vacations. Better stay somewhere in Beverly Hills. Lacks a bit of comfort too, but nothing serious. The bed isn't as good as it should be, and there's a lack of privacy on the bathroom, which is all in glass. This is good for a lone guest.
Very goog bed
Spaciousness of the room, location, design. The rooftop should be available to hotel guests and their guests... not open to the public. That was annoying. Draws a really bad bridge-and- tunnel type crowd. It wasn't cool, so we left. It would have been nice to be able to create some kind of privacy between the shower and the main room... blinds or something.
Location, fridge and microwave. Room had a funky odor to it, like very stale air. Walls were so thin that we could hear the person snoring in the next room and some of there conversations. Only window in room looked out to the enclosed hallway, just an old design.
Location was great for our trip.
Proximity to Universal studios No breakfast, continental breakfast only. False advertising. Loud street, halls open to outside, thin walls could hear other people in rooms. Hard time sleeping due to noise.
I gave the overall experience a low mark because the key cards are temperamental. Mine took about a dozen attempts to open the door from the lobby to the rooms. Besides the key cards, no
Hotel Location and the continental breakfast The elevator service was spotty at best. The room location was poor. The main window faced an interior hall and the door was located next to a stairwell. The carpets were in poor repair and the hall light flickered as one would expect in a flop house.
location is good price is fair room is small and with some strange smell. breakfast choice is so limited
The room was great location was great parking was convenient nothing worth mentioning
clean outdated. Staff gave information they did not follow through on.
Nothing Parking was unavailable. Website said there would be parking. I use hotel.com a lot (need a room tonight) however I no longer will use unless I get a refund
Beds extremely uncomfortable and staff not very friendly at all. I attempted to call the front desk several times when we first arrived but no answer what's so ever (almost as if the guy at the front desk avoided talking to me)
Location No parking
Price Thin walls, loud, beds as comfortable as the floor. Hallways smelled. Terrible parking.
the location (walking distance to subway stations), the friendly staff, the rooms hollywood blvd
Nothing especially when you end up paying way too much to stay in a crack house There was no parking is there were people screaming up and down the hallways there was smoking in non-smoking rooms and when I woke up in the morning for the little sleep I could get there was throw up in the hallway and none of the employees had any idea I was even there not worth it never stay there again.
Clean room, friendly staff, close to Hollywood Blvd Nothing
Parking was horrible
It was 7 minutes from Universal Studios Hollywood. The room appeared to be really clean. Their very small parking garage was full. There wasn't any street parking available. We had to park down the street and pay $25 to park in that lot. For that $25 more, we could have stayed at a much nicer hotel that had parking for us. We were trying to save money by staying here and it cost us more because of parking.
Great location for the places I wanted to see (comedy clubs, upscale dining, great mall). Only problem is the sign for the hotel. If you are arriving after dark you will not see them. I passed it twice and ended up parking somewhere else and walking the street to find it (and every place you park in LA costs money).
Cute themed hotel and the theme was carried nicely throughout. Good location, steps from the farmers market and grove shopping. The air conditioner in our room was crazy loud. It woke us up every time it turned on which seemed to be every 15 minutes, all night long.
I loved the ambience, tight down to the sausage and egg art on the wall in my room! The open air feel of the hotel was perfect for the sunny weather in CA. They have a nightly whiskey tasting and complimentary snacks at the front desk. There are plenty of areas to hang out outside your room and a foosball table in the courtyard. Although I didn't use the pool, I could see it from the 2nd floor deck and it was full of ducks (rubber ones, not real ones.) the location is right across from The Grove at Farmer's market so plenty of shopping and dining experiences are within walking distance. Also, the employees were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again. My bed squeaked every time I moved. It's a good thing I was so tired because I slept through most of it, but light sleepers would probably be bothered by it. The wifi is very slow. I wish there was self parking; I hate valeting my car.
I liked the vibe, Peets next door, nice room. I like the decor - loved the Bull Farm diorama! View out my window, but it was OK.
This motel offers a good ratio value / price. Very well located (not far from Hollywood main points of interest). Free parking for our car. Excellent croissants for breakfast.
Staff very friendly and helpful. Great location a block from hollywood blvd and the underground station. Very spacious room with nice floors, tv etc. Towels chlorine smell rathwr than fresh detergent
Location, next to Hollywood boulevard. Roses round the pool. Facility. The description of the hotel in booking was false. There are no facilities, that were mentioned in the description. There are no any plate, fork, pot or anything of the kind to cook, only plastic glasses, though there is a microwave oven.
I liked the location and the friendliness of the staff. The room and the bathroom were outdated, but it wasn't a real problem, everything worked fine.
The excellent proximity to Hollywood tourist sites and very close to metro train station. Friendliness and help of staff.
Very helpful staff and great location. Quick access to Universal Studio, Hollywood walk of fame, Koda and Chinese theatre, and just 5 mi from LA downtown. Also, free parking is a bonus.
We are a family and really enjoyed our stay at the HCI. The staff was everytime helpful and friendly. The location is close to all attraction of Hollywood. What my wife liked most, was the arrangement of roses around the pool, a small oasis. we were totally satisfied and would come back to stay there.
Very friendly/professional staff. Quiet location. Room was clean. Great working AC unit. Free breakfast. 5 minutes from Hollywood Blvd. I always choose to stay here when I visit LA. Highly recommend! No iron/ironing board in room. Not enough parking spaces. That's about it.
large room, cozy beds, sofa also! internet connection was too bad
The service are excellence. Mr Paco is the most helpful. Na
in the first room we found little bugs in the beds after the 1st night. Could change room, 2nd one was okay but our confidence was gone. Old room was given to tourists the same day. When did they put some chemicals to kill the insects???
Good location, with free parking.
Location, friendly staff.
The staff were all excellent, everyone we dealt with was very helpful and friendly, the position was great too, a very close walk to everything in Hollywood, and lots of shops. We had a wonderful time there.
location the room had a weird smell
The staff were professional, courteous and helpful. The room provided everything I wanted, including free internet, free parking, and also a microwave and fridge, without the unnecessary luxuries that come at higher priced hotels.
Convinient location. Good quality for money. Pure breakfast. Rooms with windows to the street a little bit noisy.
Close to all attractions in Hollywood, good breakfast, very friendly staff and the luggage storage was a bonus
Location Seems like they may have a problem with people entering he back door from the hills. A door alarm was going off one evening and they seem to shut down the elevator in the back for this reason as well which is a little concerning.
The Staff was excellent, very helpful and pleasant. Bathrooms could be updated.
It was quite hotel
It is cozy, the rooftop is a cool place to hang out Walls are too thin...stay in any room near the elevator and you will be up all night listening to it go up and down.
Location. Very friendly front desk.Good size suite with excellent facilities ,well maintained Shower very weak and never very hot despite asking twice to have it fixed.Food -only tried room sevice once ,and breakfast once in dining room, both very very disappointing.DO Not eat there Dining room service appalling
This is a nice hotel, very clean, located in the neighborhood -- within walking distance to great restaurants and nightlife, but not in the middle of it. The rooftop deck and pool are nice additions. The small gym contained everything I needed to workout during my stay. Parking. Parking in West Hollywood is by permit only; so street parking is not an option. Parking in the area is expensive, and the hotel only offers valet, which is $40 PER/NIGHT. $40 per night is an exurbanite fee to charge guests for parking and as much as I enjoyed the hotel, this is what I will remember most when considering a hotel in the area again.
All the staff was very friendly and helpful. They went out of their way for you. The rooms were where you never really noticed your neighbors. I loved that it was situated in a neighborhood. I liked taking walks the morning and evening. Great restaurants within walking distance. I would definitely stay again.
the staff and room size no hot water for all three days
Friendliness, Breakfast is superb, near everything. no
Walking distance to melrose Ave. No hot water in our shower we had to take a cold shower. For 400 dollars a night you should have warm water not ice cold water
I did not like my stay at Le Parc Suites. My reservation was lost and it took a half an hour to check in. There was no hot water in my suite. The jacuzzi did not work and the pool area was unclean. I left a phone charger in my room and called the hotel to ask if they could locate it. No one would help me or return my call. When I called to discuss the matter with a supervisor he refused to return my call.
The professional, affable staff are worth their weight in gold.Maid service for daily cleaning is too laxed. I had my sheets changed only once during my six (6) day stay.
The room was large and quiet. Staff were very helpful. The location is excellent if you do not have a car and want to get around the city by walking, bus, taxi. I had interpreted from the website that the suite had a washing machine, but this turned out to be a laundry room in the basement for which we had to pay. The facilities in the kitchen area were poor and old.
Good location in the center of Melrose Ave. Very close to shopping area. Rooms are old. Bad value for money.
