The beds are fine and comfortable. They safely kept our luggage on the last day because our plane was in the afternoon and we wanted to visit. The hotel was a 4 stars about 20 years ago, It has not been renovated since then. The bath was so dirty I was afraid to shower. The white walls where black at some places because it has never been cleaned. The breakfast is very poor, nothing good to eat there. There is at least an hour of walk to do the Grand Bazar. There was no airport shuttle even if the Booking site said so. The hamman wasn't free and it looked awful.
the service staff was very friendly. the breakfast buffet, although traditional turkish breakfast, had plenty of variety and we thought it was good. We did not use any of the other hotel services since we were out sight seeing each day. The hotel was about a 10 minute walk to the metro that got you anywhere in the city you wanted to go. Not sure where to put this, but the hotel is better known locally as Hotel Berr. Tulip Inn confused some of the taxi drivers at the ferry. We went to the bar the first evening and when we paid, I placed Turkish Lira on the bar, they really wanted Euro, so we did a currency exchange on the spot and I received Euro as change. Also, the last night there, there was a party on a floor above us that was very noisy at times - tough when you have a 3AM wake up call
I enjoyed the comfort of having private parking place.
nating very bad bathroom and verybad prakfast
The kindness of the hotel staff and the presence of a hammam in the hotel. Not everyone of the hotel staff has knowledge of the english language.
Personel don't speak english! A lot of problems with explaining anything.
design of hotel very bad service: there was not a toilet paper, for 4 days it was not washed not time half, there were not glasses in a number, did not give out a guest map, therefore did not know how to call on reception
nothing a nightmare ,not helpfull staff , rude, they overcharge you .did not let a single visitor to my room.worste hotel ever in my life.i should get a refunde I was nearly dead I wanted to go to te airport ,and asked the receptionist how much he said 45 Turkish lira.I went to the shop to buy a beer and asked shopkeeper about the price,he said they ripping you off do not pay more than 20 YTL ,Then te shop ordered a taxi for me .shame scandalous,my first room was extremly smellng of glorian i could not sleep I got sick and druged ,I went to the reception at 0500 am to change , I did but the other room was full of cockroaches, breakfast was so poor and not tasty it must not be in booking.com
good position in Istanbul, close to Old Basar and Cevahir Shopping mall kind of complicated to get there, very small streets
Hated it Rats in the kitchen and roaches in your room. Dont stay here!!!!
Nothing I didn't like night porter (night receptionist) he was really rude and he has a informal language. Hotel Rooms weren't clean very well. There were not any facilities in room even water glass. I really didn't like to hotel.
It offers 3+ star living facility with some improvements needed however area is very congested as being in old town but good for historical sites' visit. No parking, limited choice buffet breakfast though reasonable, no gym,, reception staff & waiters need some training.
Hotel need a clean up Job, its dated and in a residential area. so so Breakfast.
I only liked the pictures of the hotel on booking.com which is not reflecting the reality. Hotel is very old and rooms are need to be replaced. Breakfast is disaster and they give sea water as drinking water. Also I have to left one day earlier and they didn't return the money.
Nothing. Blanckets and sheets were too small.Breakfeast without inspiration:no fresh eggs, soup in the morning (?),and not even the delicious turkish yoghurt.
No Wi-Fi at anywhere in Hotel.
it's near Masjed Fatih, very famous area, famous hotel, if you ask any driver to send you there it will be very easy. no Satellite, the staff do not smile. english language very poor.
It was in a great buildling from the 1920s. Nice neighbourhood away from the chaos of Istanbul. And the staff were wonderful.
