The location of this hotel is terrific and it is suitable for people travel on their own. The MRT exit 3 is just less than 10 meter away. Also, convenient to get the airport shuttle.
transportation is very good, next door to the subway entrance. condition is ok. price is ok.
excellent location, quiet, clean and cheap facilities were clean and functional but showed their age
The room is very small. If they can provide a free wifi in the room that would be perfect.
The front desk staff. Aged facilities; "long-in-the-tooth". Breakfast, yeeech!
It is in a very good location next to MRT and has a shuttle bus service to Taoyuan Airport.
Excellent location near Shilin night market and walking distance to Jinatan MRT. Free bicycles available from hotel. Convenient stores right outside the hotel. Can hear noise from neigboring rooms. Breakfast is basic. Was not informed that drinks from the fridge was complimentary.
The staff spoke good english and the hotel is next to the best night food markets in Taipei. the rooms are very well furbished and clean. the fridge was a bit noisy at times
Near to the train station, very accessible to get around the city. Very clean rooms, however rooms are quite small and simple, not as "luxury" as stated on the website. Rooms are near to the elevator, can be noisy sometimes.
Nicely maintained hotel with clean rooms. Friendly and helpful staff.
The friendly staff and 100 channel TV! Its very near Shilin night market if you like to visit the place. Quiet neighbourhood though. Jiantan station is about 5-10mins walk away. Not exactly near the city centre where most coach pickup points to and fro the airport are. Breakfast is mainly local fare, won't really appeal for Westerners.
5 min. to MRT(Jiantan) from hotel on foot. a little bit older and smaller than I expect and shown at the site.
Clean, near shih lin market
The hotel is within 5 minites walk from MRT sutation. It took long time to check in. The bulding and facilities are so old,and bubble bath is out of order.
What I like best is only the location. I really find the trouble of moving rooms due to the unclear confirmation via booking.com. The web should at least reply to say that double bed is not available as I've already requested upon reservation.
-room size, location - safe was spoilt. - no help given by staff to move luggage to room.
It's so good for shopping for my wife The room service didn't lock up my room door after service as I came back at nite & found the door not locked for my last 2 nite there and the main lobby person didn't even appologize. I stay at A120 room. Maybe the room door not so good or the room service person are careless
Location is excellent, just 1 minute walk from Xi Men Ding shopping district. Rooms are nice, relatively new. Breakfast was too oriental. There should be more variety to cater for international travellers.
Wonstar hotel ximen's staff are so friendly. They provided us with every information we need during our 9days trip. The hotel is situated in the heart of ximen. The only little set back is that wonstar chong Hwa is more well known to cab drivers, therefore they might drive to the other branch instead. However the distance between the 2 branches are just 3 mins walk or drive away, so it wasn't a big deal.
the room is quiet and the breakfast buffet is good. always ask soap, shampoo and towels everytime take a bath in the morning
Location - it closes to Ximending area and we can find food easily. Seven Eleven is not so far. Housekeeping - forgot to put towel for us for 2 days
It is worth for money
the staff (two gentlemen) who were on duty the time we arrived (early sunday nov 14 morning)...they were very nice guys. the breakfast was awful!
Polite, helpful and courteous hotel staff. The hotel has free internet service which is very helpful. Very convenient location to see the down town of Taipei. I have nothing to say.
The location is easily accessible to most areas through the MRT My first night stay was horrible. The AC in the room I checked in was not working and the staff refused to upgrade or change my room. It was over 90 degrees in the summer when I arrived with no AC. I had to argue for an hour to get a room upgrade with a 50% discount. They refuse to upgrade my room for free even though their AC was not working.
