Swimming facilities, night swimming, restaurants, walking. Suite was huge! My pool lounge chair was broken.
Decor is outstanding
It is a nice and clean hotel The carpets in the rooms need to be updated
The location and inside the hotel The pool was so disgusting and dirty
The hotel in general is marvelous! The suite is extraordinary. Very venetian. Definitely coming back!
The beautiful room and view. All the restaurants and shops. Especially eating at zeffarinos. Hats off to Danelle for excellent service. Our front destroy clerk at check in ,Hats off to Daniella for helping us. What's there not to like.we love it. Grazie
Room large, comfortable, amenities very limited, towels not overly abundent, they were rough not plush, soft Getting from one area of hotel to another difficult, finding way around was somewhat difficult. There was no hotel book which described Resturant's, where located
The suites were beautiful, huge and very clean. Staff was extremely helpful- even upgraded our room and granted us late check out and early check-in when the front desk heard it was my husband's 30th and our 1 year wedding anniversary. The pools were well kept and beautiful! Wifi in the room was very nice to have! We had trouble with it at first, but one call to the front desk had it resolved expediently! No food amenities included in stay.
memorable experience and great customer service
Super luxurious room. Bed was super comfortable. Easy access to fun casino and family-friendly amenities (e.g. shopping, canal rides). No coffee maker, but that appears to be standard practice in Strip hotels.
The staff were beyond accommodating! I mean all of them!!! The hotel is BEAUTIFUL. Rooms are huge and immaculant! Loved it!!! Slots sucked, but oh well.
It was clean and very convenient right off the strip and in the middle of everything The wait for check in and check out
The rooms were clean and spacious. The casino was clean and the location was great. The service at the bars was slow.
Location! Right next to fashion show mall and right across from Venetian. Charge for everything - $40 for early check in, $50 for late check out, no microwave in the room, resort fees of $36/night. Casino is old and worn out. Staff are mostly unhelpful.
Room was clean, nice and spacious. The hidden fee at check in that doubled the price from what I was expecting to pay.
I like the location in the middle of the strip, and I like the customer service, staff were very helpul and friendly. The room was dirty and smell, and we found bugs on beds, resort fee very expensive. Nothing fantastic about this hotel.
Location and facility Their cancellation policies are a rip off.
Fast until crowded elevators. Beds. Bell service and valet. Staff Definitely time for an upgrade. Very overpriced restaurants. Smells horrible inside like years and years of old smoke , better air circulation would help. Carpets througout hotel were gross. I checked in around 630 and I had to wait 30 mins for check in and they did not have the room I had paid ahead for and was guaranteed. Also didn't get the smoking room that I requested. Fan in bathroom didn't work remote control didn't work. Only 2 electrical outlets in room. Won't be coming back.
The room was very comfortable and had a good view.
The buffet was pretty good with a lot of good options.
It to long in the lines
Great customer service by all the staff. Very prompt and polite. I'm not a smoker. So they still have a smoking casino, which I think most places still have. One of the few things I didn't like.
All staff from the check in ppl to the maid staff, very friendly and helpful. Price of ordinary food in the "Coffee Shop" $$$$ way too much when it's not anything out of the ordinary, I paid $50 for breakfast for two. We had eggs and hashbrowns
We have stayed here twice now and have loved both of our stays! Staff is fantastic! Rooms are large, clean, and sexy. The food and drinks are a bit pricey, but no more than most of the higher end hotels. It's a little noisy if you stay in a room overlooking the strip, with the clubs playing music beyond 1am. I would highly recommend against the breakfast buffet. It was included in our room last time, and we wish we had gone somewhere else and paid for breakfast.
We have ordered vegetarian food and found meat in our food. Pool area was not bad, but could have been kept better especially water had lot of accumulation . Lot of cigarette smoke , even if you are not in the casino. It was the worst we have seen anywhere in Vegas
5 star restaurants, amazing spa, gym with everything you can ask for, great shows, luxurious hotel!!
The people who check your card at the elevator are rude
THE ROOM! THE SPA! The view! Deodorizer smell. (Better than cigarette smoke, I suppose). Food at Sinatra was way overpriced for not being very good.
The rooms, comfortable beds & uniqueness of everything. The food & staff was A+
almost everything was great The bed was awfull, they should change the mattress (suite 5738), could not get any rest.
Room comfort and view. Higher end hotel so crowd is relatively calm and easy going. Room smelt like old cigarettes. Only staff that seemed happy were the in room dinning delivery folks. Check in, valets and doorstaff were slow and unattentive. We are likely to stay at Venetian/Palazzo on our next visit. Better food options/shopping and friendlier staffers.
* Spacious & luxurious room * Generally easy to get a spot around pool * Nice classy casino * Lots of restaurants in hotel * Hotel was exceptionally clean * Located at the nicer end of strip * Fantastic stay overall, would stay here again * Quiet room (which we requested) * They gave us $100 dining voucher which we greatly appreciated! * Staff around pool were pretty hopeless. We had to wait a long time to get service and even left a few times because we didn't get served at all * Located about a 20 minute walk from middle of strip so had to get a taxi a lot of the time * They charge for wifi which seems pretty ridiculous in this day and age
This hotel has everything and gives the Las Vegas feeling with a very luxurious wrapping. WiFi access is as natural a comodity as water and electricity. To charge 15 dollars per device per day for this is baffeling! Just include general access in the room price and remove device limit.
Best ambience on the strip. Great dinning options and very friendly staff
beautiful, clean too expensive. no perks.
Very clean and fun resort type atmosphere. City within a city. Would have been nice to feel more safe outside the resort. Walked down to Cesars palace. The resort was nice, but they made the effort to clean up the street on the perimeter of their property. At MGM you walk outside at night on the strip and do not feel safe. Not only are the homeless derilects there begging and laying in their own filth but the cocroaches would carry you off.
Even for using refrigerator we needed to pay for it.
The location is perfect because we were there for UFC fight at the Garden Arena. It's also a short walk (in summer heat) to T-Mobile Arena. I get it - it's Vegas and supposedly a 4-star hotel - everything is pricey, but this is way overboard. We got an up-sell right when we arrived -- our room wasn't ready (it's 11am, I know) but if we want to "upgrade" $20 per night, a new room (or maybe the same room) would be ready right away. We decided to wait until our original room is ready. The room is in West Wing (an old wing), which is fine by me. The room was a little stuffy. The bathroom setup was the oddest thing. There's no power outlet; visible signs of bad maintenance; the lower shower faucet doesn't work; no cotton pads provided (even I asked from a cleaning service); no complementary bottled water (fine it is in a desert). In my humble opinion, this is NOT a 4-star hotel. Moving on to breakfast. There are 2 options available: the buffet or this breakfast cafe. We opted for the lighter version because we were too lazy to venture out. I ordered a Belgian waffle (the price was around $9-12) for a piece of way subpar food. I get it - it's a (supposedly) a 4-star hotel - but with that price, at least I expect a mediocre taste of food. We pretty much spent 3 full days at the MGM (barely went outside or somewhere else). We used its facilities including gambling tables, sport books, the pools, day club at Wet Republic, food court, the casino bars, the Garden Arena, cafes & restaurants, and nothing has made good or great impression! It's just a mediocre choice and overpriced and bad value for money. I'm willing to pay that amount of money for the right value! Lastly, $5 for a bottle of water! Vegas, you're too much. I won't be going back for a long while.
location No guest free parking
We were able to use the pools at the signature suites. Stood in line for over an hour while checking in. Room was small, outdated and inconveniently located in the hotel.
We upgraged for the king spa suite, we received half mini bar empty and half can of sprite (someone drank it and put it back to the bar) they only give 1 shampoo, one soap and etc... but we were a couple! The hallway was always loud, doors shutting and screaming, i called and say on advanced its our honeymoom, expected a little more and unfortunately was really disappointed. The phones at the room are from the 50's. And the room wasnt real clean. Looks old, not enough lights. Staff did their best, but there are just too many people to care for. Check in was a serpentine line an hour long. With all hands on deck, it was still an hour+ wait in the lobby and valet. Rooms were very nice
Room was well appointedvand clean. Staff very nice and friendly. Great new morimoto restaurant. Casino air was pretty dank. Major partiers hauling in coolers 2 at a time.
The lazy river is amazing and the pool waitresses are great (especially Kaitlyn!) The front desk staff are incompetent. We checked in early on Friday morning and were only staying for 2 nights. The hotel didn't have our 2 queen room available so they upgraded us to a suite (awesome right?) WRONG. They then proceeded to tell us we owe an extra $80 per night for the suite that we didn't ask for! So I refused to pay and instead they made us sleep in the suite for one night then MOVED us to another room at 11am the next day! So inconvenient. I am a breastfeeding mother and needed a place to pump during the day and had to pump in a bathroom instead of in my room because our room wasn't available! Complete lack of respect for my needs. Will never stay here again.
The water in my tub and sink in the hotel room took 10 minutes to drain, it was pretty gross. And the lingering smoke smell on a non smoking floor was rough. Also, my AC in my room didn't work.
- Close to bus line - Central location - A/C unit constantly ran, even on AUTO!! - Smoke smell inside non-smoking room - Room very dark (WEST) - Inconsistent water heater - Vanity sink did not drain well - Overall, room did not seemed as "Fresh" as expected
The hotel keys didn't work when I first arrived at the hotel and had dragged my stuff up to my room. When they didn't work I was pretty bummed, but the cleaning service who were nearby were kind enough to let me into the room and get in touch with the front desk for me. They were gracious and upgraded me without hesitation.
Location Staff (valet parking & front desk). should make a flyer or magazine with hotels details in every room.
Immediately requested hangers and a replacement lamp (plug was cut off of the end of the cord) Reasonable response to hangers. Had to call 3 consecutive days before the lamp was replaced.
Price and location is very good When i came here the first time i really liked the hotel, the room, the price and people who work there, thats why i decided to come back and bring my mom here for her very first time in Vegas for 55 birthday anniversary, but at this time we got very small and very old room not nice at all, but i was like, "ok i'm not gonna pay attention on this, but then my mom asked me if they have at list a bathrobes, i was like they must have it, because last time i've been there i used it. When we didnt find one, i called the guest service and asked where is the bathrobes? They told me that they don't provide it, i told them How long ago? I've been here a couple month ago and they was in the room, he said - not anymore, a was kinda confused and went downstairs to ask somebody in the registration about it, they told me we provide the bathrobes only in the big rooms, i asked them kindly if the be able to provide me a bathrobe for 1 night? He told me just No, unless we want to buy it (!?) i said can you ask you manager? He was like- ok, i'll ask. He went away for 10 minutes , came back and told me that he asked housekeeping to bring the bathrobes to the room, if its gonna be available, guess what ? We never saw them, i'm so dissapointed and i feel bad for my mom first visit to Vegas.
The location is the only good thing about this place It's very old and dirty. My room had broken doors, bathroom tile pieces, etc. The toilet wouldn't flush properly. Our shower curtain was filthy and yellow at the bottom. The towels and sheets feel like sandpaper. Just an awful hotel and definitely not worth the money you think you're saving. I'm sure a Motel 6 would be better than this place.
I have stayed at several high end hotels on the strip. None of them are as nice a stay as the Flamingo. For the money there is no place better to stay on the Vegas strip. It's always clean, there is a monorail stop right at the hotel, and it's right in the middle of the strip close to everything. Also, because it's an older hotel the walls are much thicker that all of the new hotels. There are also several dinning options from affordable to finer dinning. The pool is THE BEST ON THE STRIP. I have no complaints about anything.
I like that the staff at the Flamingo was really attentive and trying really hard to fix the issue we were having with the room I had booked. I think her name was Debra or Debbie. Sweet lady made it better waiting to get everything situated. I didn't like that Kayake excidentally book my stay at the Haras and not the flamingo like I origionally book it at. The staff couldn't find my reserved room, it took an hour out of my day. I made the friends I was meeting up with wait for me. I know that they are sister resorts but it was such an incinvienence.
The hotel is right on the strip and easy access to the Las Vegas strip and to the back corridor of shopping and restaurants.
"GO" Room decor is definitely cool and retro, very clean and white. Gambling and pool on-site. Room rates good for location, but watch the taxes, fees, and resort fee. blackjack payout 6-5 instead of 3-2 means we gambled elsewhere. Hiding the resort fee in fine print is shady, should be part of the room rate like non-strip hotels.
It was always busy The rooms weren't that clean and the locations they gave us was horrible don't think I'm staying there again
Location The ac didnt work well
I booked and paid for the room over 4 months in advance but could not get confirmation of room at hotel until 24 hours before check in. It took 3 calls to confirm room. The Flamingo had no request for room from Kayak. The room was paid for but was not reserved, very disconcerting. Will not book through Kayak again.
Room was dirty and felt old. Didn't feel nice.
The refrigerator rattled all night. Additionally, the make-up mirror in the bathroom had a light that would not shut off. Together, the noise and the light made it difficult to sleep. We called about the problems, but nobody came to fix them.
Lovely room with view of the pool. Staff goes out of their way to be helpful I would have liked a refrigerator in the room besides the mini bar.
I know there is a 100$ deposit they have to do at the beginning of your stay in case there are damages to the room. However, they charged me 100$ for the room, 133$ for the deposit and an additional 233$ for another deposit. I asked the front desk about it and they said "that just happens sometimes." The mirage has still not refunded me.
The comfortable room, helpful staff, the late night availability of food and above all the "GRAND" the 'Beatles' show. Will surely come to stay here again on our next trip. Only the bathroom!!!
The room we stayed in was recently renovated. The day we went there was free parking. No bathtub in room. Long walk from check-in desk to elevators. Understaffed at front desk.
We liked most everything. The pool was dirty toward the end of the day. People left food and drinks everywhere. It should obviously be cleaned up by the guests who ate and drank everywhere but if it wasn't then the staff should be cleaning it up all the time.
The Beatles Love Cirque du Soleil show Hallways noisy, expensive at every turn; ridiculously expensive restaurants; ripoff attractions;
Location is great Room is good size even for 4 adults Cool minibar Quiet rooms Good Casino Good entertainment options Although clean the room had a disgusting vinegar smell and had to be aired (at least the windows can open) These were by far the tiniest Queen beds I've ever seen. If you're vegan, you need to go eat at another hotel for some decent food choices It's easier to get out of a maze than it is to find the self-parking following the signs.
No extra pillows in the room.
The price I got is pretty good and overall is above good, I do not think you can ask more with this price. Our room was knocked twice for house keeping even at 930 AM, and I think this is not realy appropriate since I believe most of people are still asleep at that moment. but minor
We had a great time, the cleaning is fine, big rooms and the SPA is amazing- you have to go. i had a birthday so they gave me a free enter and that was very kind of them. staff is friendly and we will defiantly consider to go back their again in the future.
Staff is very friendly Room was very dirty upon checking in, even in the upgraded room. There was hair all over the room when we got there. It was gross. We are not ones to complain. We are just the type that we will never stay there again.
There were no convenient arrangements for a simple cup of tea or coffee in the guest rooms which by the way is complimentary at most hotels.
Nice clean rooms Charges for internet, resort fee, etc. They just try to squeeze every penny out of you. I don't mind paying for things but I hate getting ripped off.
Shopping, food and location. For the money I spent, I could have stayed at a much nicer hotel with a view of something besides a rooftop and the backside of another Caesars tower. It was a very disappointing room. I'll go back to The Cosmopolitan or The Bellagio next time.
Ambiance and view were great. Lights didn't work in the bathroom and called to get it fixed no one ever came to fix it. Asked for a strip view room and they charged me $50 for it. I have stayed at many places in Vegas and was given a strip view upon request for no extra fee. I expected more from Caesars. I will take my business elsewhere in the future.
Automated check in at the main loby was a disaster. Had to then wait in a 45 minute line for the clerk to tell us our rooms were at the Nobu Hotel. I specifically booked a room with 2 queen beds at the Ceasars towers and paid extra. When we arrived at Nobu, the only room that was available was one with a king bed and they would send a roll away. Mind you, this is at 10pm after a long day of travel.
the pool area is amazing the interior of the hotel is so beautiful, customer service in on track, and lots of privacy. that we can't take our own food/drinks to the pool, not too many bars open when the pools opens and i can't believe graygoose with red bull is 23.00 !!!!! thats all i drink, i had my own liquor and red bulls couldn't enjoy them at all since i spend most of the day at the pool
I was given a king size room even though I specifically requested a 2 queen room. I had to call several times for someone to help. I the end I had to give in to a rollaway bed as I was too tired to continue waiting.
Chris, at hotel registration, is smart and incredibly personable. Large well maintained room. Great shopping for high rollers. The cost for what was received: no coffee for the coffee maker, no traditional coffee shop with a decent menu on the premises and ice maker was apparently broke down.
Checked in 2 hours early . Had to pay $33 early charge with no view Casino & peri feral areas are smoke oriented. Upgrade air filtration systems. This is in most of the hotel/casinos unfortunately. The only smoke free space I found was at the airport.
The front desk service was excellent and our rooms had an amazing view of The Belagio fountains. They were adjoining so 6 girls were able to party on for my friends 50th. Celine Dion was fabulous! The pool service was terrible! They would absolutely make more money on drinks if only there service.
Staff friendly and helpful and room imaculate Lack of staff at check in only 1 staff member after 20 mins another person arrived
Staff helpful and friendly. Clean and comfy bed. Too crowded, but it was 4th of July!
Location is excellent and the hotel has a lot of nice amenities. The fitness center is well equipped. The conservatory was beautiful, as always. Check-in on Thanksgiving Day was packed, and we waited about 30 minutes in line. It seems like there could be a better system. Parking garage was incredibly crowded and, in fact, we had to park at another hotel one night because it was full. The air handling system is not as good as other hotels. It was incredibly smokey, even inside the buffet where smoking is not allowed but apparently diffuses into the dining area from the casino. And we had to trek through the casino to get to and from the elevator to our room, so we could not avoid the smokey air. They should look into removing the chlorine taste from the tap water, perhaps a reverse osmosis system or charcoal filter, at least for the water served in the restaurants. The bathroom had loose pieces of silicone caulking all over the floor. Of course, everything was quite expensive, from the mini-bar items to the hotel cafes/coffee shops to the water sold in the hotel shops ($5.25 for 1 liter) to the parking ($10/day).
location is good, I thought the overall cleaniness of of facility starting to look a little tired, rooms were ok but house cleaning did not do a good job for making up room.
The manners of all the staff we spoke with as remarkably polite, helpful and respectful. Beautiful hotel, loved the big spaces and the art in the rooms, the piano player in the lobby, the flowers, the amazing massage I had in my room, the quick and helpful response by reception and how delightful all the receptionists were. Perfect location and amazing view to the fountain. Got amazing cosmetics by a promoter who was there for the plastic surgery conference. A can of hot chocolate is $15-$23. C'mon people, it would come on a golden platter brought by a stripper for that amount. Everything else was perfect.
Fantastic location. We had an okay room. Restaurants are all incredibly expensive. You would expect much more for your money. We only had one bath robe, a small TV, and my front desk staffer was very unfriendly. She had me booked in three rooms for the same night and suggested I would have to pay all three. I said it was a mistake and eventually she got it sorted. For the price, you expect more. Would not recommend nor stay here again. I've stayed at SLS and Montr Carlo and would easily pick them instead.
Hotel property is impressive They dont provide any complementary breakfast or for that matter a cup of coffee
Very luxurious, huge casino, welcoming staff. Fountains are a great attraction especially at night. We had problem to check in. Hotel didn't receive reservations from Kayak/Amoma. Took two hours and dozen phone calls to finally chek in. The pool area was great except there almost no sunshade umbrellas which are a must in Vegas sun.
Excellent Room cleanliness Excellent Staff Excellent Service Excellent Facilities Nothing.
Lobby area and flower gardens are very pretty. Great bloody Mary's! Our room was not very clean. There were two black moldy spots on the grout in the shower. There was a big Stain on the bath tub ledge. The woodwork under the sink was dirty. Piece of long hair on sheet in bed. Air conditioner didn't get cold enough in bedroom!
Excellent location. I forgot an item and it was found. It will be mailed to me. Staff were very kind and friendly. A lot of tourists and visitors in the hotel. It is busy at all times.
bed was very comfortable; food was good; everyone very helpful noisey room, no place to get away from smoke, needs several coffee shops 2 for s not enough
The hotel room was like a motel 6, we paid for fountain view and had a view of the parking lot.
Hotel was good. No micro oven and fridge in room
Proximity to the other hotels. Too expensive. I reserved via third party. When you get to the hotel they say you only paid for one night to reserve the room. All of the other charges are added like parking and resort fee, which didn't make it a great deal.
New York New York NY Hotel has been I go to place for Las Vegas for many years. Has a great location, decent food service within the complex, and a okay Casino. The property is simply getting tired... It's time to do the overhaul of the entire facility especially the rooms.. casino. I don't believe the furniture is been changed within the bedrooms and for many years.
It was clean. The staff was very accommodating. I would stay there again. It's right on the strip and there's easy access to everything.
Friendly staff and great room for the price. Several other hotels were 100 bucks per night more. Glad I stayed here. Will stay here again!
Kayak booked my room with New York when it was already at already over book so me thinking I had a room an get there an be told I don't have one is very upsetting I don't think I'll be using kayak again to book hotels
Hotel staff very accommodating. Good restaurants. Unavailability of MLife staffing and rude behavior when leaving. Always had discounts when checking out. No longer.
Overall layout and variety of restaurants was hreat
Location and cost Queues at reception - arrivals and departures
Hotel was fine, but nothing special Besides the $30/day resort fee, MGM has decided to add a $10/day parking fee for all their hotels (about half of the hotels on the Vegas Strip).
Parking fee is a very bad idea. Not sure I will ever stay in MGM owned resorts. Small luxuries like valet is something I enjoy in Vegas.
I liked how it's just north of the strip and close to the downtown/Fremont st. You can find great deals for this hotel. Don't expect whole lot but it's fairly clean and a neo-classic landmark. I surprised how decent the rooms were, 3 stars. Cant expect whole lot. The toilet in the room kept on running most of the time. The stopper on the sink wouldn't work. The TV was super dated and no fridge.
I loved the staff and attractions. I didn't like our room quality. The beds were very uncomfortable.
The room was decent, with a comfortable bed. It was cheap at $50 ($80 total, gotta love the $20 "entertainment fee" the casino hotels get to charge. The hotel/casino is located in one of the hoods on Las Vegas, and that is not made apparent when reserving the room. It is surrounded by homeless people and by-the-hour hotels as you pull up. For something as iconic as this building, we could not believe the condition of the surrounding area. This led to some very interesting clientele. Multiple times I was approached by coked-out looking people asking how long I was staying and whether I wanted to "party", inferring that they could supply me with drugs if desired. The staff were friendly, but most of them obviously only worked here because they did not have the intelligence to work at other casinos. I had to correct them on payouts multiple times, and they just acted like it was completely normal. For beds, we got two queens, and one of the comforters had a stain on it so we slept on the other bed. The shower towels had rust stains on them, so we had to pick and choose which we used.
The Italian restaurant right outside of the North elevators was excellent! I stayed in the North tower, which was terrible. The shower head was rusty, there was paint chipping off the door of the bathroom, and you had to literally climb to get in the tub. The Asian BBQ restaurant in the hotel took over 45 minutes to provide mediocre food. Literally luke warm. The waitress then said she'd bring egg rolls for our wait and never brought them.
The architecture of the hotel the mall the rooms and security where seen. I felt safe thank you I also like the tower and mj live show. The pool closed on the 24th floor.Key card did not always electronicly work on command
When checking in they asked if I would like smoking or non smoking. I told them non smoking. I get to my room and it was a smoking room. I called down to the desk and they told me to come down and they would take care of it. I had to stand in line for 45 minutes and wait for them to get done with another couple.
My room was clean. They seemed to offer a few amusement park activities and included free access to the top of the tower. The area around the hotel is depressing. You will have to drive/ride to get to see The sights. My room was VERY outdated. Seemed like a 70's room. The only modern feature was a flat screen. No easy access to charging ports and was way too expensive for what you get. Understandable because it was during the largest convention of the year. SEMA.
having buffet available Poor housekeeping, run down look to casino, etc.
If you are only going to do one thing at this hotel, then do the sky jump, do it at night under the lights and it is an amazing experience, such a rush and a thrill! No coffee in room, no mini fridge. Internet was "iffy".
The nice rooms, the entertainment (rides)
Didn't like the shower - not enough water pressure- bad nozzle- seemed like it was spitting
The room was nice, view of the lower roof top and a partial view of the strip. The Roxy dinner and buffet was good. View on top of the tower was grand. Attended the MJ Live show, and the Red neck majic comedy show, both very good. I arrived a bit early for check in at the registration desk. I was in formed to wait 20 minutes or pay $10 dollars for early check end. I have never had that experience before, usually I am given a room. I asked for them to wave the "20" minutes and was told no. I paid extra for a better room, and went to my room and left my luggage there. I left to retrieve a item in my vehicle. Upon arrival to my room was a stranger, so I called security. The man turn out to be a employee, with out having any identification display and I was startled. Upon looking at security and thier staff, Some displied ID, and some didn't. I don't know who they are, Id would be nice. The employee in question had his ID inside his shirt pocket. His boss showed me his ID on his waist line, it was blank, and that is when he pulled his Id out of his shirt. I was upset, they gave me a room under maintenance. The security lady at one point told me to leave and i was being evicted. I informed her I was the one who called security, and told her she can leave. At that point, I called the hotel manager. After a wait, security departed and I has given a better room, and the security lady showed me my new room and I thank her. I had a hard time sleeping, due to the loud (So Loud) music coming from the pool area. I was informed it was the DJ at the pool. They could not do anything. I do not plan to return their. In my humble opinion, unless you like drama, Vegas has so many places to choice from.
Nice decor. Nice staff. Rooms are a good size. Telephone next to the toilet a little too much though! LOL TV in the bathroom mirror was cool. The bed was comfy, and the sheets were nice. The TV channels suck. Need to bring my Chromecast next time. The in-room food is too expensive and not excellent. The free shuttle service only goes as far as the shops at the Venetian/Palazzo.
No gambling no smoking great They have a large tv in the Pool table section how did not work for days I mention it no body care very disappointing during Basketball and Hockey play off
Loved that there was no smoking and no casino. Good security. Nice kitchenette. Didn't feel like they were out to gouge me for every penny like the other place we stayed at in Vegas. Would have liked a better area to watch the football game with bigger TV in the restaurant/lounge. Not unique to Trump but I don't like the resort fee or the forced gratuities in Vegas.
The room was wonderful, view beautiful, great location Coffee @ the bar, very expensive. Service @ the pool restaurant very poor
It was off the strip. More quite and relaxing
The entry level room was amazing compared to other hotels Nothing bad to say
I loved the comfort and helpful staff. Everything was absolutely gorgeous, and quite clean. The views were AMAZING! As the location is placed perfectly at the end of the strip for a vantage point. However, the location can be a huge crux as f you wanted to do anything on the strip, you need to catch a $15 cab at minimum. The restaurant inside the hotel also leaves MUCH to be desired, as breakfast was consistently half an hour for basic (orange juice / coffee) drinks - and a hour and a half wait for food. It was close to these times for all three times I gave it a shot as it was convenient.
I like everything about this hotel... hassle free parking with their valet. Courteous staff, big sized room, huge bathtub which can fit 3 people in... and this was just their ordinary room. It's too comfy we don't want to leave the hotel room :)
Elegant simplicity. The rooms were very nice and clean. The hotel itself was also very affordable when I compared it with others and it was close enough to the strip, this was the determining factor to go with this hotel. It's also next to the Fashion Mall, which is nice if you live to shop. I love working out so a bigger Gym and and Spa would be a nice bonus.
Nice view, nice jacuzzi bathtub for two, comfortable bed, nice bathrobes, nice kitchenette with top appliances (but who's going to cook in during a shortstay in Las Vegas with so many restaurant options?) Shuttle service to the strip. In room "safe" mounted to a drawer -- how safe is that? We could hear the freight train horns and motorcycles below from the 46th floor. Overall this hotel lacked attention to details. Terrible shower head, Surprised to see their service & housekeeping staff using the guest elevators. Clock was set an hour late. No slippers. Had to ask for a luggage rack. Breakfast meal arrived cold in the restaurant. Off strip location. No self-parking.
Overall great facility, but unable to cool the room was a bit disappointing...coming from Alaska, low 70s for a room temp is uncomfortable.
Nice rooms, great staff, very luxurious. Ran out of some food items and bar items. Might have been a fluke. Not many bad qualities. Near the Wynn and treasure island but everything else needs a cab or uber.
Our first time at Wynn but it definitely will not be our last. The hotel rooms were roomy and comfortable. The casino, restaurants and bars were first rate. We even enjoyed the Buffet! An A+ experience!
Eat, gambled, swam, sat poolside, caught some sun, drank, and did I say eat? Found myself winning on the tables and that always makes for more fun. Large room. Big bath. great view all things at the hotel were great but I can't believe I got scammed on the ride from the airport....I was just so tired and had just had a three hour delay before finally taking off.....the taxi do not take the highway......if you see highway, you are getting taken for an extra $20, plus I tipped the guy.....
I liked the rooms, the comfort of the bedroom and bathroom. Cleanliness is not outatanding though. We had to request shower gel to get it. It was not available at first for instance. I didn't like the way staff behave and ibteract with us at the casino. It was not an atmosphere that encourages people t play cheerfully
Everything was nice
Beautiful and well kept. Can find as nice of places for less money. Not much to do other than gamble. Even lounge bar was tough to get into. Can be long waits for restaurants.
I always love the gardens, the comfy casino seats, employees willingness to always be helpful, cleanliness, air quality isnt bad, detail in the overall decor... etc., etc.
Unfortunately, their computer system went down and they did not have a back up. All of the slot machines had to been hand paid which took over two hours. No one was able to check in or out during this period of time. This happened on a Friday night (6/3/16) at approximately 9:15PM. I was stuck waiting to be paid a minor amount so that I could leave and make it to a dinner reservation. I finally left the slot machine to another player as I was meeting friends and would have been late.
Staff is great, room was great. We had an amazing time The buffett there has gotten famous and now there is a 1.5 hour line to get in. I feel guests of the hotel should have their own line so we can eat some breakfast.
There reservation system was down and although I arrived at 7 at night and then waited 2 1/2 hours for a room, they had no back up for registering a room and could not tell me when I would get one - so I left and drove to another hotel. At 12:00 that night they called to let me know they could register me.
Rooms were high tech Lack of nonsmoking rooms almost sent me to the ER
Location is great, restaurant selection, Axis theater, front desk staff was efficient. Fitness center had old, broken equipment. Rooms need to be updated, elevators were incredibly slow.
Not one thing z... Toilets didn't work, no running water, the rooms looked like a motel and the worst part was that the staff including the "manager " Roberto was unbelievably rude and appeared to be demeaning and preferably when it came to the race of customers . It was the worst experience of my life and I travel to Vegas regularly. I ended up having to move to another votel in Vegas because of such filth and lack of any customer service
Go here if you want to save money Older facilities compared to other hotels in the area, but you get what you pay for.
Extremely convenient and best location. Lots of food and entertainment options Smoke was unbearable. If they have smoking filters or air purifiers, I don't believe they work. Not in Vegas for 10 years allowed us to forget how smoke filled the casino is.
Location No compli water in the room, parking area is far from the hotel
Close to almost all casinos. No microwave in the room, no fridge in the room.
The beds were very comfortable and i loved the bug tub in thhe bathroom. Location was great; great spot on the strip plus connected to Miracle Mile Shopping center. The hallways and carpetting seemed old/out-dated. Random "room check" by house keeping right after we checked in. They knocked and opened the door, saying they just wanted to see if everything was ok with the room. Felt likw invasion of privacy that they just walked in without us openning the door.
Nice bathrooms Rooms were dirty, beat up furniture and walls. Uncomfortable beds, next time I'm in vegas I'll probably stay elsewhere.
Close to everything. Long waits to register.
Customer service was great! Everything smelled of smoke. The facility was dated.
Room size was very nice. Signs to navigate the facility were a bit limited. The pool facility was basically a joke. Besides the adult pool area hot tube being broken the grounds were rather disgusting. Between the empty water bottle left under my chair or the cigarette butts on the deck it seemed like it was too much to ask for the grounds to be cleaned for a Monday.
I reserved 2 King bed rooms, and even though I made my reservations and paid for them, I was down graded to 2 queen bed rooms. If I paid for a King room, I expect to have a King room. Why am I bummed and given queen rooms when I made my reservations 2 weeks in advanced and fully paid for them?! My room also had 2 lights that were not working, and the bathroom shower was not fully cleaned. No fridge or coffee pot in the room.
Great customer service
Very beautiful place, very stylish. There are tons of restaurants, shops and art pieces throughout the property. There's a night club Jewel there too. The concierges are super helpful. You can check in and out online. The hotel is situated well, can easily cross over to Cosmopolitan nearby. There's also a free tram, which can take you to Bellagio. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and hope to come back again sometime. The pools and the hot tubs hours are 9 to 5. I was at Aria for a conference and 9-5 is when its activities are taking place each day, which made it difficult for me to enjoy the pools and the hot tubs. Managed to do it just one day, when the conference activities finished an hour and a half earlier. We did have our conference's party by the pools, but I'm thinking not every day they must be using the pools area for private events...
Great rooms and friendly staff. Central location. Very confusing layout and lack of tables to gamble at. The Cosmo is right across the block and offers more for me personally.
Spacious rooms with good mix of people that keeps the place vibrant. Recommend for someone that wants a great location. Clarification on the cleaning services, you have to turn on the service button for housekeeping, which isn't intuitive but we figured it out by our second day.
The casino and mall Nothing
Had a great coupon deal for one night at a wonderful, classy place. Sharp, professional, top-notch hotel!! The Casino floor was busy and there are a lot of hotel restaurant choices. My favorite experience was at check-in: when the line at mid-morning got a bit long, I watched a manager quickly find another six or eight staffers for registration and 'boom' the line was gone and I and others were taken care! Smoking in the casino, but that is everyplace in Las Vegas.
Room amenities were excellent, the integrated technology made it an exciting new experience. The bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom layout was also superb. The floor in the bathroom wasn't not clean to the 5 Star level. My wife drop her earring and I ran my hand across the floor to retrieve it and it came up completely covered in dirt and dust, would not expect this form a 5 Star rated resort.
Aria has a great location on the Strip. Very convenient to check out Bellagio founrains, nightlife at Cosmo or just staying within rhe City Center confines. Its a bit smoky in the casino area but not any more than others.
Nice, but not 5 stars
Hotel fee and then resort fee
restaurant staffs were excellent enjoyed the view paper thin wall rooms not my style
The staff was very friendly and nice, had no problems
The reservation date was messed up and price would not be met for correct date. Kayak nor Hard Rock would match the deal or cancel reservation. The rice for room was charged and no one used room What a waste.
Casino and grounds were great. Paradise tower is a little far from casino to casually enjoy. Hotel room was very dark, poor lighting everywhere in the black on black on black room. Room phone was dead and information book damaged and hard to use. Was supposed to get a king, none were available. My 6'7" husband was a little uncomfortable in the queen
The Hard Rock looks and feels good for its age. There is a good looking crowd the clubs attract people dressed to the 9's. Great restaurants with lots of options. Construction during the remodel is on floors that are still being occupied. The crews have no regard for the fact that they are working where people are trying to enjoy their vacation and sleep. The management took care of my complaint, but I would ask for a room that is no where near the construction next time.
In overall the hotel was good. The room was comfortable and clean. The staff brings customer service all time and the hotel is beautiful and huge. Despite I knew the location was off the Strip I was taking into consideration the fact that the have shuttle bus. However, the buses are available from 10 am to 5 pm (too late and too early). So we had to spend money in uber caps and also the city bus. Next time I'll rather to consider another hotel on the strip.
Our suit was amazing. Bed was super comfortable. Staff was really helpful and friendly.
Updated. Renovations while we were staying. Location.
It was perfect for my girlfriend and me....
Upgraded to suite, which was nice touch- one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept on... Knob in shower that controls switch from handset to showerhead was frozen.
I enjoyed having the the staff. They were very welcoming and pleasant. The room was clean and spacious. I would have liked to be closer to the strip.
Location is ok - Long time check-in; smell and noisy room; self parking garage doesn't work properly .
The beds were very comfortable. It was very close to MGM, where we were seeing the band Phish. The staff at the front desk for a very busy 3pm check in was awesome! They were all super friendly and happy and helpful. The hotel overall felt dirty and outdated. We spent most of our time at New York New York and MGM, as the Excalibur was really just a room with a bed in it to sleep, which was not much. The buffet was awful.
Convenience location Smell of casino and front disk
Staff very friendly Total surprise when we got there. MGM Properties have changed some things to get more of your money. Self parking is now $8 per day and Valet is $13.50 per day. All the refrigerators were removed from the rooms. You can get one for your room but it costs $25 per day. All the coffee makers were removed from the rooms. You get to go down to the casino and stand in a long line at one of the coffee shops and pay $3.50 or more for a simple cup of coffee in the morning. Oh and a blackjack that usually pays 3:2 has been changed to 6:5 and if you are at a somewhat empty table and want to play 2 hands, you have to play a minimum of double the minimum bet on each hands or you cant play 2 hands. Wont be going back to a MGM Properties casino again. Lastly, getting a drink while gambling was near impossible. Very few waitresses.
The Excaliber was good. I would stay there again because it was good value for the price. The rooms were comfortable and quiet. The casino is dated but had a great food court for family. Needed a bit of a facelift, but didn't take away from the stay.
Gym was nice Steakhouse on-site was good Hotel room was clean and comfortable bed Fine for an affordable room if you have a conference nearby Place is tired and worn out, my wife would kill me if I took her there for a vacation.
Nice hotel with plenty of choices for dinner. Buffet breakfast needs more variety and wasn't worth the price.
It's a nice casino great value. Room was clean bed was not the most comfortable but I've stayed here before & I think it was just that mattress. Anyway Excalibur is a nice casino/hotel. Bed
Advertised price of $32 per night, so I thought I was getting a good value. Then I find out there is anunadvertised $38 resort fee to be added on. After prepaying for my room with the resort fee on line, the check -in attendant tells me she needs my card for add-ons. Parking - $40. I asked doesn't the resort fee cover that? Answer - no. So the unadvertised parking fee is 125% of the advertised hotel rate. This is unethical. After staying one night, I left the next morning less than 24 hours later. Another $8 fee to get out of the lot. Unethical senior management - not likely to stay there again with this misrepresentation and lack of transparency.
no body wash in shower very long line up for check in soft mattress not such good interior design in the room
Room was comfortable Wifi was good for general browsing (did not test streaming) Wifi available throughout the building Buffet was cheaper than most Some nice restaurants Room cost was low Fast and Easy Checkout I arrived at the hotel at 11:30 PM and had to wait for nearly an hour while 3-4 groups in front of me checked in. The check-in process was cumbersome and the resort fee is ridiculous. The fee is just a way of showing a lower price on booking sites only to nail you when you get to the hotel. Food offerings in the hotel were sparse and expensive. I had to pay $10 for a hamburger (no fires, no drink) at the Johnny Rockets as this was the lowest cost option available. I will say this does seem to be a trend not only in this hotel but most others. Being in Las Vegas in general is like staying in an airport the entire time you are there, everything costs double what it would in the rest of the country. When I woke up the following morning I found that there was an ironing board but no iron. Outside of this minor inconvenience, no other issues with the room. The major complaint that I had regarding this hotel is location. In order to get to the monorail to get to other parts of the strip and downtown, you have to cross multiple bridges and go through the entire MGM grand casino which is a maze in and of itself. This, coupled with the fact that at any given time half the escalators going up and down these bridges made the trip every day to the monorail extremely inconvenient. When coming back one night, I was not even able to cross over one bridge and ended up having to backtrack all the way around New York New York to get there. While I do not blame the hotel for this shortcoming, it does create a difficulty for anyone travelling on business. When you consider the MGM grand average rate was $90 a night and my rate ended up being nearly $70 a night, it would be worth the extra money not to have to deal with this hassle and be in a much nicer hotel, casino, and shopping area.
Rooms ok, parking costs. resort costs. I didn't tip anyone and I didn't play any games. I'm on SS and room cost parking cost and resort cost. I have not much left but to eat. Thanks for nickle and dime low income people. This will be my last time in Vegas.
The staff is very professional but they need more effort to keep happy the guest this is Vegas come on We are a couple celebrating our anniversary and we was listening music not that loud and I perfectly remember the time was 9:22 pm when the security knocks my door saying someone complained about the music come on this is Las Vegas and Also the floor on the restroom was so dirty they don't clean from the previous guests I have pictures to proved
The only thing that i liked was the check in and check out was really fast thats it.. Hotel room was terible the furniture was dirty dusty the windows were all the dirty the shower and the sink drains didn't work water stayed flooded and last they open our room with out our permission
We were able to self park our car for a relatively low fee The bed was comfortable and the room was clean and quiet We got a room facing construction cite even though we were promised a room facing the strip. When we resisted a change of rooms we for a room facing away from the strip towards the highways
Vibe, beautiful and clean interior, location, food options, gaming options, etc. Right now, too much construction, I'd wait till it is completed finished before staying here. The entire front entrance is completely being redone, many of the interior restaurants are being rehabbed and are closed, there are no shows taking place here, without these thinga right now, Monte Carlo is not as sexy as it once was. Once all is completed however, it will be amazing! Also, seemed they are a bit short staffed with housekeeping as our room was not cleaned till late afternoon. This review is only temporary however as I know things will get a lot better.
Location Room was hot and musty. The furniture was old/dated. The pillows were awful. There was no power outlets available for mobility, phone, computer; so inconvenient for the business traveler. (minimally, the lights should have USB and power inputs by the bed for the high price I paid.) Also, no way to heat water for tea or coffee. Very disappointing.
Location was excellent. Right in the heart of the Las Vegas strip. Price was also good. Pool area and lobby look nice. Hotel is dated. Hotel room was dingy and window did not seal properly which resulted in a wind noise. Overall the room was showing signs of wear and tear. Cleanliness could have also been better.
