The staff were all super friendly and helpful The rooms were clean and the kitchen had utensils, pots, and pans which we did not expect Parking was the biggest problem. I was not informed that i had to reserve parking ahead of time.So it was a surprise that I had to hunt for parking that night on July 4th weekend. The staff was helpful in reserving us a spot by day 3 of our stay out of 6 days. But even after getting a parking pass, parking spots were no where to be found. You had to park your car and never move it in order to keep your spot.
The property was really nice There was stain in the tub and the drain was broken, when I complained the woman at the front desk was rude and never send anyone to fix it
Awesome Place Awesome Staff
apartment feeling horrible staff. young kids who are biased when it comes to parking. we are a caucasian family, handicapped/disabled. we waited all day for parking, and each time were told their lot was full. right after i asked for parking a third time in the afternoon and was turned down, a hispanic couple came in and got "the last parking spot of the day." This happened twice during my week long stay. the apartments have out-dated furnishings. the beds are HORRIBLE if you have any kind of back pain. One bed was do-able, the second bed sunk to the floor in the middle. luckily we travel with an air mattress, and that saved the day. the grounds are pretty, i'll give them that...but the complex backs up to a ghetto-A$$ gas station that is packed with druggies all night...definitely not an environment for young children. it was my first time to south beach and i didn't know anything about the location of the hotel. it's a little distance from the beach, but i was fine with that. my biggest complaint is how biased the staff seemed against white people, and how quickly it seemed they could fulfill every request from a hispanic with such ease. i won't go back. there's plenty of hotels in that area...just pay a few extra bucks and get a hotel with plenty of secured parking!!!
