The atmosphere the room i was in was a very strange shape - long and thin - i felt a little boxed in as it wasn;t the standard square shape.
The Front desk staff are very welcoming and helpfull.. Maya was the best, she always exceed the Servise expectation. Bathroom is small
Straightforward check in; English speaking staff, late bar and good coffee machine in the room
Excellent location to db, very comfortable and Clean. There is restaurants front of the hotel provide halal food.
Comfortable, friendly, good value for its location, more traditional in its decor, helpful staff, good location, close to railway station and 10 minute walk from Marienplatz
location and attitude of staff
Air conditioning did not cool room below 27 degress Celsius and matress was very uncomfortable.
close to Marienplatz and Pinotetka museums light from sign in our room all night
I liked the location close to the main train station and the room. The double room should have had double bed. Also, breakfast should be included at the price paid.
Great location, good sized comfy room, staff were helpful when needed but not pushy, excellent hotel security N/A
There is free internet for guests! The location was convenient. The staff helpful. Clean roooms.
great location, very close to the underground, which made Oktoberfest fairgrounds easily accessible. Comfortable room, enjoyable experience. a bit pricey.
Clean, good location, parking facility, internet for free
The hotel was good value for money and the location next to a subway station was ideal. No restaurants or grocery stores near the hotel.
Friendly staff, nice rooms, free Wi-Fi.
The staff was very helpful, includiny converting currency and giving directions. They also provided-sold tickets to the transportation system. Also, we appreciated the interenet cubicles available and the coffee station near the elevator.
The rooom comfort. hotel location (cenetr is at reach) The rooms were not available when we got to the hotel, although it was late noon.
New, clean, confortable. Nice and supportive staff Quite far from the historical center. Not very fancy
Very helpful and friendly staff; good breakfast. Fair value for money. If you need to do some work in your room during your stay, you will be uncomfortable. The "desk" provided in rooms is horribly designed so you can't get your legs under it, and the chair is very uncomfortable. It is sad when design aesthetics come before functionality!
Nice hotel in good location for Oktoberfest and exploring Munich.
Centreally located, good breafast, free car parking a small issue but we had to keep going from one part of the hotel to another to reach our room esp durring the rain
very nice. The room was comfortable and the receptionist was very kind slightly far from the town center. Also no internet PC available.
the loction and the staff
Lovely breakfast - even you could get a beer.
Great breakfast Small detail: Marks on the walls in the room
Large bathtub, fantastic breakfast, comfortable room, clean and modern. Walking distance to Löwenbrau biergarten and tram station.
great breakfast at buffet
Very well maintained, clean and neat Hotel. Location is excellent.
The rooms were nice and clean. Beds were comfortable and the pillows actually had some stuffing in them, which was a nice change of pace from other places we visited. The shower was also large enough to have two people. The water splashes a little out of the side of the shower. They didn't have conditioner.
Hotel has very good access with public transport. From the main railway station it takes only a couple of minutes to reach the hotel.
How a hotel should be. Comfortable rooms, delightful buffet breakfast and prompt, friendly service.
Quite, clean and good location Very high extra charge for not included services like parking, Wifi and breakfast. Elevators very slow.
Missing Airport courtsy collection & Courtsy transport to Mauma Fair.
I like everything except parking too expensive very nice hotel No budy pickup the bag's to room you have to do it by your self , In general the hotel very good and the staff also I suggest keep someone take the bag's to the room and thanks so much
the staff and their readiness to answer any question with such patience.
the area is calm and beautiful on one hand but not that far from citiy center on the other. the view over the park is very very nice!
Excellent breakfast, very good service at check-in, very peaceful location but pleasant walk to city centre through the English Gardens.
Decent size, clean and well appointed rooms. A little out from the city centre but only a 10 euro taxi ride to Marien Platz. Would've been nice to have a couple of restaurants and cafes close by as the hotel food and drinks were quite expensive.
nice location no
Overall impression was good, but the staff was really on a high level. For such a hotel the gym is really poor.
Our rooms were comfortable, food was excellent, sauna was interesting experience but best thing was the staff. It was great!
More facilities than we expected.
Convenient location for the purpose of my stay Needs renovationWas
Good location, basic hotel but very good value. Excellent breakfast- lots of choice, 2x free water & 2x beer in the fridge, clean etc... Great for a cheap and cheerful weekend stay!
The staff was very friendly, minus one individual. We upgraded to an apartment and loved the freedom to cook ourselves. The day before checkout, we went to settle our bill and view current charges. We agreed on charges and were told we couldn't settle until checkout time. The following morning at 5:20 we went to pay our bill when Seyed, the man working the front desk told us 50 more euro than agreed upon. We explained that wasn't right and told him we asked about it the night before and knew that it wasn't an extra 50 euro. He than said we have to pay what the computer says and that's it. We went back and forth for about 10 min. And got no where. He than said I was his worst guest he has had in 15 yrs and that's that! Eventually a few hours later I got a hold of a manager and cleared it all up. All in all the hotel was great minus my checkout experience.
Close to Metro and oldcity Room musty and same next room
Whenever I stay in Munich, I try to book a room at the Derag Hotel: it is confortable, the staff is very nice, and it is ideally located in the city, next to public transportation and to shops and nice little restaurant, and to the swimming pool. Check-out time a little bit early (11 a.m) and brekast until 10 a.mOne more hour would be welcome - same comment for the cleaning time.Would like to enjoy a late morning after a long trip.
Well prepared, quick and smooth check-in/check-out procedure. Kind hotel staff. Small and slow elavators. Slightly unpleasent smell in the bathroom. Too soft bed.
The rooms are an excellent retreat with the mini kitchens. Great people watching!!! There was a noisy party on the Sunday night in an appartment on the 6th floor. My tolerance was tested- but I was just jealous. The hotel could only act if somone complained but noone would want to complain.
Friendly bar staff. Free bottles of water and beer came in handy. Greatshower. Double room was, like many in Europe, two singles pushed together. Even had two single duvet covers.
Convenience to S-bahn; quiet neighborhood Reservation under wrong name; a wake up called was delivered 1 hour late
Free city ticket. The bed is to small.
excellent convenient location and complimentary use of city transport tickets Not help with carrying of luggage when arriving and checking out
only one night and too little time to enjoy the stay but bath ond free drink was nice.
breakfast facilities, not enough places
The central location next to the main railway station, the comprehensive breakfast and the Munich transport pass (included in the room rate) which was very useful for getting around the city.
Romms are very small for 2 person, and they must consider them only as a single room not double
Convenient location / open late for dinner / comfortable room / trains and taxis available close by.
The location is perfect! And we can travel around the city with the free tickets! The Staff are very friendly. It's a very nice hotel!
near from the main station, free internet & frindly staff. No, there was not.
Helpful staff. Excellent breakfast. Clean confomfortable rooms.
The staff were really friendly, and even after I left my keys and phone in the room they posted them back to England very qickly for me. The apartment layout really worked well and it was nice that we had the comfort of a hotel, but could still cook our own food. It wasn't made clear that we would be charged 25 euros extra per bed in the room
Pleasant staff, comfortable and quiet rooms, free minibar was nice (included beer). Decent location (about 10 mins by #58 bus to central train station). The room smelled of smoke or some other chemicals, though it was a non smoking room.
Comfortable rooms, decent breakfast, mini-kitchen distance from underground station
Instead of a mini bar the hotel stocks the fridge with complimentary beers and water for your arrival, nice touch. We stayed in a double facing the street and had no problems with noise whatsoever (rooms facing the courtyard are more expensive). Other reviews on the the site indicated that the hotel was poorly located for the city centre but the transport links (including the number 58 bus that stops extremely close by) are excellent. Some minor maintenance issues with the room e.g. missing light and missing skirting board near door. Cooking facilities included in room but no utensils.
Out of the main tourist areas but close to them via bus.
Large comfortable rooom. Clean, tidy and quite swish. Little out of the way
The rooms were nice.
the accommodation was great good location for access to everything
Quiet location. Good breakfast. Not convenient for U-Bahn, but convenient for bus once I mastered the bus routes and how to pay.
The staff was great Not regular room cleaning . Our room wasn't cleaned for out entire stay
Clean, comfortable, very convenient. Felt closer to home than staying in a regular hotel. Staff was awesome and very accommodating.
Staff were extremely helpful and friendly.
The breakfast was excellent and location is very good. The room looked little bit old, but it was clean and very comfortable.
Having stayed at other Maritims I knew the standard and was not disappointed Price of breakfast high
The staff was very helpful. Breakfast buffet was great. There were a lot of people and the breakfastrestaurant was crowded. Some of the guests had to sit in another room.
I was looking for a hotel with central location and swimming pool and breakfast incl. I got exactly what I was looking for.
close to train/tram/bus routes lack of replacing items in bathroom and frig - every day we complained
Close to the main station. Room was spacious and very comfortable. The fitness centre on the top floor was exceptional. Breakfast was the best I've experienced. As one might guess I really enjoyed my stay there! No negatives at all.
Breakfast was included in this deal. They tryed to charge us twice for breakfast.
Good location near the station, yet quiet. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
Friendly helpful staff and a very convenient location. I was attending Expo Real so the hotel was very convenient for public transport and for getting back to after evening functions in Central Munich. I couldn't get the safe deposit box in my room (570) to work.
location breakfest not included/ wi-fi expensive/parking very small for big -medium cars
Staff was friendly. The neighborhood was not in city center as advertised. This is a very middle Eastern area.
Staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. We were able to change our room to a quieter location without any problem.
Hotel staff was nice, room was clean. Room was small, bed not comfortable, a little far from downtown.
We stayed at the TRYP München during the first week end of the Oktoberfest 2010. The room was very clean, the bathroom was large and also really clean, the buffet breakfast was great and definitely worth 15 euros. The hotel was more than well located, a 5 minutes walk from the Oktoberfest site, about 10 minutes from the main train station and 20 minutes from the city center. Ideal hotel for city sightseeing and Oktoberfest partying! No air conditionning, not a problem in September but could be very warm during the summer.
Bed were very comfortable. Room was very hot, no A/C. The hotel did though, provide a fan.
Good Oktoberfest deal. I innitially booked 3 2p rooms. 6 months ago I cancelled one of the rooms. That was okay you said. At the end of our stay the final bill noted a higher room price for the other 2 rooms. This was not communicated to us before. I refused to pay the higher rate, and the staff only reluctantly agreed to the original price.
We have booked the double for 9,- EURO. Yes, 9 EURO! First we thought there must be a mistake, maybe we have to pay something extra in the hotel, but no, it was 9 EURO. For this price, everything seems excellent for us!
Very close to Oktoberfest grounds, yet a fairly easy walk to the Marienplatz as well.
Great location, courteous staff, very clean and modern accommodation.
Great location, very convenient to historic city center, central train station, Oktoberfest site (although we didn't visit in season -- it was quiet at night when we were there). Facilities pretty standard for Europe. Front desk staff was very helpful, available at all hours. Wifi is unlimited with a small donation to UNICEF (ask the desk clerk), otherwise it's capped at 100 MB per night. As we've experienced elsewhere in Europe, the water temperature in the shower fluctuates.
friendly staff My expensive stuff (hot cotoure dress) been stole from my room & no proffesional action been done from the Hotel.
Very good location, extremely near the UBahn but also very quiet!
Nothing, for everything they charged us even for the smoking room we have paid eur 15 per night. They have informed us that we can get coplimantary 2 cups of coffe every day but we have noted while checking out for every cup they charged us eur 4 as service charges. We have paid an additional price of eur 106 however the room rates were high.
Nice hotel and room Rooms not ready and together as requested. Staff not extremely helpful
Wireless access not available in all rooms.
Only three advantages of the Sheraton Munchen Westpark Hotel: comfort, comfort and comfort. Very good breakfast. Interestting spa.
nice pleasant hotel with freindly staff
Especially the service of the reception staff
Wonderful service. We arrived a day late due to a flight cancellation. Desk staff upgraded us to a room on the club floor. Nice bed, refrigerator in rooom. Very good facilities, the included breakfast was a buffet but you could order eggs any way you like. We also loved the greek restaurant Hellas two blocks away, excellent food at very reasonable prices. Location was a little far from downtown. But it was only 2 or 3 stops on the subway (depending which train) from the main station, as billed on their website. The real issue for us was room temperature during a warm weekend. Although the room had an AC control dial, at its lowest it was still warmer than 76 F. We found it too warm to sleep comfortably the two nights we were there. Otherwise (or in a different season) this is an excellent value for a very good hotel.
it was near the u-bahn and s-bahn the pillows were too thin
The room was nice and modern. We have to pay for the internet in the room.
Near to downtown and transportation
Location was excellant for our purpose of visiting the markets staff were very helpful polite courteous. A kettle in the room would have made our stay perfect. The british are a nation of tea drinkers and need tea whilst we could purchase tea from reception etc it was very expensive
great service and nice rooms. super friendly personnel! No mini bar in room
Very clean, business like atmosphere. Breakfast was well worth the price. Staff was friendly, Did not have wash cloths available for guests. Had to ask to get more than two towels
close to the city-center, delicious breakfast, clean everywhere 1. The Hotel has not enough parking place, so the parking fee in the Parking-house at the Mars str. is more expensive as an average hotel-garage fee.
The hotel is very convenient to the Hauptbahnhof (easy walking distance) and to Marienplatz. We arrived very early in the morning and I requested an early check in & was very pleased to find our room available at 7am. All hotel staff were very helpful and their English was good. If you are travelling with children I recommend Therme Erding. The hotel has brochures about it. It is a water park with thermal pools & water slides about 50 mins train trip from the main station. It was lots of fun after a long flight & some sight seeing. Allow at least 2 hours there.
Great location, clean and cozy room Room was very small and breakfast selection was limited
Very friendly and helpful staff who all appeared to speak excellent English. Very decorative beds - shame the matresses were so hard, but overall a great hotel for the price. Close to station and centre but not noisy. No restaurant - a small bar - but a restaurant directly across the road which seems to stay open late - we ate there once and it was fine.
Very central. Lovely room and facilities. Pleasant staff. Breakfast was a little expensive unless one was very hungry. However locations was such that smaller breakfasts were readily available on the street.
The room was beautiful (though small), the breakfast had an excellent selection. I had breakfast included in the room rate, therefore I think the price is quite OK. Location is very good - 5 minutes to the Central Station, 10 minutes to the city center.
best hotel ever
close to train station spa was closed even though we inquired about it before staying there
Great hotel in great location
Service is excellent. I arrived the hotel exhausted at 7:30am. Reception let me check into the room without extra cost. The hotel is a six year old one. It is a very nice modern hotel in a revonated old building. The location is right by the central train station. Transportation is convenience, but not as nice as the other five stars hotels in the area. Anyway, this is by far the best among all the hotels I stayed in Munich before (and I have stayed at Four Seasons and Bayerpost, ...) Nothing to complain.
Location, staff, room, facilities, swimming pool, restaurant, hotel looks etc. Most of it. Not a big problem but if you like to have bath tub, you need to ask for it in advance as not all rooms are equipped. Also we like the aircondition to run a little cooler but it was OK.
The spa had to pay for internet- wifi should be free guys
concierge very helpful.. late check out help a lot
Close to train station Wasn't crazy about the room design
the hotel is of a very high standard and the facilities are excellent
nice rooms, nice spa Apparently there are no king size beds in this hotel despite the advertising in booking and in sofitel sites. only single beds.
I have stayed here many times and have found it to be comfortable and pleasant. Excellent breakfast buffet. The people taking part in the special meetings were often very noisy.
Location and convenience, friendly and helpful staff, good restaurant, breakfasts. especially commend the conceriege -- Maximillian and Helga. The young man with the Irish accent was particularly helpful as well. Size and appointments of the room were very satisfactory, though hot- water pressure was erratic. The surrounding ambience was a bit unappealing -- the casino and male- oriented "recreation" establishment next door. The crush of bicycles was a nuisance. Did, however, appreciate accessibility to public transportation
Easy access to S-Bhan Restaurant food could have been better
The rooms were very nice and the breakfast buffet was excellent. We had trouble adjusting the temperature in the warm and were quite warm at night.
Very friendly staff
Very close to central station, clean, good breakfast, the room with one bed is very small
good location nearby the railway station
Friendly, welcoming, helpful front desk staff. Bright, modern room. Modern bathroom with bath. Excellent breakfast. Overall excellent.
location, helpful staff (though some seemed not too friendly), nice room with AC - not so common in Germany Had 2 different rooms - one much nicer than the other, tho price was the same. The room overlooking the main street was noisy at night
Our superior room was absolutely beautiful and very spacious. Although breakfast had a good variety sometimes had to wait for a few things to be replenished, e.g. milk, cutlery, bowls.
Room is good more standard than superior. Spa and sauna on top floor very nice and relaxing. I had to go twice down to reception to have my electronic key getting to work. Very unpleasant with all of your luggage up and down from the 12th floor!
large room with seprate living room with kittichen old fruntiture with bad cleaing( no daily carpet vacuming and never cleaned under the bed) kittchen cost 100 euro regardless of how long you stay
I was in that area for a Doctor's appointment. The best thing was me sleeping! The shower head hose leaked. The room was too warm when I arrived, but I just opened the balcony door, so not really a problem.
Everything is close to you when you are at this hotel. The staff are super friendly. The hotel is big and well maintained. Parking spots are all over the place. There are so many facilities by itself in the hotel building. The metro station is 5-7 mins walk away. No free internet. You get charged an arm and a leg for an hour's worth of use. The only place that you would find Internet is in the lobby. Which is not comfortable.
beautiful rooms, very good staff, friendly.
It was a pleasant stay at the hotel. clean room, extremely helpful staff and a great view of the city, although the balcony had an awful net surrounding the exterior part of the balcony. I definitely suggest this hotel for a stay in Munich. The hotel is situated far from the city center, although 10 min walk from the closest train station, and the around area is a bit scary at night time. although the general hotel services were fairly nice the jacuzzi was not working and as we found out, they were not working for a long period of time.
The staff. The location. The room was weard down. Need some redecorating !
THE STAFF, breakfast and the room & view the pool was out of order
What you expect from a 4-star hotel. A little out of center, but near a subway station and supermarket. Getting to the center is fast and easy. Internet connection is expensive. If you are on business, expect the surprise. Also, automated mini-bar that charges to the room as soon as you remove something. I removed everything to use it as a mini-fridge, and got a hefty surprise when checking out. However, the staff was friendly and said this happens a lot. The situation was corrected.
Good comfortable hotel. Convenient quiet location (a couple of minutes from metro station, 10 minutes to arrive to Marienplatz). I would advice it more then popular location near central railway station which is really disgusting. Swimming pool was nice.
Clean room, great view. Concierge was very helpful. Not right in city center but very easy to catch the underground. Parking fee was out of sight. Was excited they had a pool but did not use it cause it was so stuffy and no air flow in the pool.
The hotel is ok but it is not an 4 star hotel, no double bed (kingsize) no gym, and room service til 10:00
good access to public transportation
Value for money
The rooms were well designed, clean and comfortable Nothing, everything was perfect
Located near downtown, just a few blocks form the central station. Breakfast served too late
Clean and very close to the central station and many attractions
Large, clean rooms. Excellent breakfast. Excellent location, 2 min walk to main train station, 10 min to main centre. Friendly staff. I had problems picking up the internet signal in our room. They were happy to move us into another room but still had the same problem. Down stairs at the lobby no problems. No kettle tea/coffee in room but a 2 min walk to train station and nice coffee for only 1 euro.
Breakfast, position, staff, clean No remarks
Was quite basic but the loaction is great and the staff were nice! The bath was very slippy, the room was too hot!
The REGENT location is an easy walk from the Hauptbanhof. The REGENT location is an easy walk to the Augustiner Keller Beir Garten Breakfast had everything (cold cuts, hot eggs, hot bacon, bread, pastries, juices, coffee, etc.). Nothing.....all is good.
local to train station not a four star hotel as advertised, more like a 2 star. "tired" bathrooms. too expensive for quality of rooms
the restaurant staff were the "only" nice people. - Rooms are not clean. - Bed sheets are filthy & yellowish. - Floor carpet is filthy and smelly. - The bed itself is broken, dusty, and very old. - Bathroom toilet is filthy and not cleaned. - My child's backpack was lost/stolen from the hotel. - Room's phone wasn't working and the only way to get room service was to go down to reception.
Great spacious room , very clean , very good breakfast. Close to main rail station...The cute dog in mornings Nothing
Location, really close to main train station. Helpful staff. Clean room. Poor lighting in the bathroom. Internet did not work in our room.
Please write at least 15 words
It was alright. It is currently being renovated and we were in a room that is not on any of the maps of the hotel floors so we couldn't find out room at first. Not the best neighborhood
Rest after long walks on a city Close room
Close by Banhof for easy local travel Friendly staff Good breakfast
The location was superb - close to everything, especially the main train station, and yet extremely quiet. Loved the lavish breakfast every morning and the room was tiny but clean.
Short walk from Munich Central Station, good value, comfortable, clean, unique art decorating the hotel. Clientele seemed to be adult, relatively young, European travelers and back packers. I arrived at the same time as a rather rowdy crowd. I was traveling for work, but most of the persons I observed and came across seemed to be on holiday and enjoying themselves. Can be a pro or a con.
The Location is really good. Just under 10 mins walk from the main Station. The Stairs up the lobby could be dificult for people with heavy lagguage.
Great Location Excellent Breakfast Buffet In order to speak to the receptionist, one has to come down to reception - no phone connection
Location. Very close to central train station. Renovated room. Poor lighting in room enterance. Pillows in the room were too soft, needed to be folded several times to be used as pillows.
The room facilities The lobby is very loud you can't hear anything , and the rooms hallway is very old
Very gool luxury hotel, with heritage, traditions and royal atmosphere. Excellent food arrangements, bars and restaurants. Comfortable rooms. Friendly service. We arrived to the hotel at 18.00, and it found out thet our room was not yet ready. No wireless internet in rooms was available.
The staff really made you feel like a VIP guest, and were friendly and efficient.
Location is perfect but no value for money Location is perfect but no value for money
The hotel staff was very accommodating and helpful - pleasant attitudes . The first room they showed us was unkempt looking (rumpled bed) - it also had a damp odor, The hotel lobby is lovely - however, the hallway rugs are faded and sometimes stained. The rooms are small and need updating (desparately!!!)
This is a five star location with two star rooms. Go out the front door and walk to all the good sites. The rooms were very disappointing. Old, needs updating. Very overpriced for the room
the staff were very helpful, location great room is quite small and bland!
The location of the hotel was excellent. The room was incredibly small for the cost/five star rating
Excellent hotel, with perfect location. Extremely helpfull and friendly staff, gourmet food, comfortable rooms. None
The location is exellent, THE BEST in Munich. Too much people from the Middle East 90%
Freindly staff, and a nice spa. The LAN internet connection is very bad, and it`s not worth paying for.
We chose this hotel for it close proximity to the BMW Welt and museum. It is also a very short walk to Olympia park and a subway station. Excellent staff! Our family stays in 10+ european hotels a year and this was one of the best!
Close to the U-Bahn. Friendly staff. Internet connection in room was not free.
no bag filters for a cofee machine otherwise fine
it was under renovation,
Chose this hotel as it was close to the olympic stadium, which was good. However if I was not going to a concert in the stadium I would have stayed at a more central hotel. The hotel is of a reasonable standard, staff are helpful, breakfast overpriced you can get coffee and pastries for a tenth of the price at the bakeries near the hotel.
location near to the Olympiahalle the hotel entrance was hard to find, the parking almost impossible to find.
Difficult to find by car. not a traditional entrance with the entrance through an underground multistorey car park !
The hotel has an excellent staff. Very friedly and kind. Very good location. Clean. Excelent Breakfast Nothing to complain
Very close to the metro station, helpful & friendly staff, beautiful decoration in the restaurant, lobby and rooms!
Location as we had to visit Bmw Welt
