Good location - close to the old part of town. Good breakfast. Very friendly staff.
Location is Perfect! Easy to go by foot to the old center and shopping area. Free parking!!! The selection for breakfast is not so wide but everything is perfect! The modern hotel just opened. Everything is high level!
Rooms are spacious, clean and well built and maintained. Stay away of the Single Bed, it is small (that's normal in Italy), my suggestion is to book a double room even if traveling alone. Service was excellent. I work in the Travel Industry and I have been to hundreds of hotels Palazzo Decumani ranks high in my personal 4-stars list.
reat staff, very helpful. Good english and the place is new, only two months open. Very large rooms, close to the city center, Nathion Museum, churchs.
the staff were really freindly.
A quiet haven in noisy narrow streets, in a good position for most of the sights.
It was very quiet and clean with great rooms/bathrooms. Very safe. Unfortunately the location of the hotel in the Centro Storico part of Napoli means that while the hotel is very safe the actual district is not so safe or good for tourists (dark, narrow streets). I am a seasoned traveller and am not usually fazed -but this time I felt a bit anxious moving about. Maybe thats just Napoli ...?
This newly renovated hotel is an oasis of calm in the midst of the endless bustle of Naples. It is located right in the centre of the old part of the city, in easy walking distance of all major attractions, and a number of excellent local restaurants. It has wonderful facilities and helpful staff, and is an ideal place for a visit to Naples. Highly recommended.
Nice staff, clean room, internet working well. No restaurant in the hotel, ugly surrounds with very narrow streets and no parking available.
The Hotel staff were pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful. The hotel was near the centre of Naples and easily accessed by train and bus.Great hub for visiting Pompeii, Sorrento and Amalfi Coast. Initially difficult to find - address not located on local maps and some cab drivers had great difficulty finding it.
Very nice hotel in the most charming part of Naples. Great staff.
The staff were very helpful and the location in the old part of the city very convenient. This is a quiet oasis in a (potentially) noisy district. Ignore the off putting entrance, once up the stairs all is very good. People say this area of Naples can be a bit " dangerous" - bag snatching and so on. Our experience was that all the people we encountered were very friendly and helpful - do not be put off. Hard to find so print off a map to give to the taxi driver at the airport!!!!
the staff was awesome, very helpful. The place was very quaint and very clean. Enjoyed our stay
The stylish rooms, nicely renovated interior The surroundings are so-so and the entrance is really something I would have never imagined to hide a 4* hotel
I never intend to stay anywhere else in Naples in the future. This hotel is beautiful, elegant, convenient, imaginatively renovated in a historic palace, modern, spotlessly clean, yet unpretentious and friendly. The staff members were extremely gracious and obviously proud of the hotel.
Charming hotel in the center of the old city. Very kind staff and a good room.
a very friendly staff, they gave us great recommendations about places to go, the hotel is gorgeous palace hidden in a typical small napolitan street. only one problem: wifi signal was very weak and internet would disconnect all the time.
Friendly front desk staff, good location. poor breakfast selection and service.Small showers.
Great central, characterful and historic location with impressive restoration of part of a medieval palazzo. Staff most helpful. Don't be discouraged by the rather dark street - perfectly safe. Found the aircon set rather high so a bit stuffy but we just opened the window
The staff, the rooms were excellent. It's a hidden treasure right in the centre of the old Napoli. It was perfect. The staff really excelled themselves and their sense of pride in their city and it the service they offer to their guests was highly evident.
fabulous historic building (inside); large beautifully furnished rooms with all the mod-con's; perfect location in centro storico; grand breakfast room; excellent staff walking down the street and seeing garbage and graffiti...the "norm" in Napoli! also the grungy staircase leading to the second floor is a poor first impression to the hotel grandeur
Hotel was very well furnished, staff was excellent. The location was not very desirable. Lots of graffiti in neighborhood, few restaurants or shops within walking distance. Taxi was only transportation available.
We liked the location, the comfort and the design of the hotel. It is a really good value for money We only regret the limited number of TV programmes (no international broadcast but only italian
1. the room I had was very spacious 2. they had a fast ethernet connection in my room and an ethernet cord. 3. there was a shared computer available 4. lots of storage space 5. about 15 built in hooks on the walls throughout the room that were very handy actually. 6. very nice multilingual staff 1. my sheets had definitely been washed but there remained a stain. i think that set of sheets should be retired. 2. some of the breakfast rolls were fresh, some were not. 3. the shutters for the window could not close completely, so sunlight came in the room before i was ready to wake up.
I especially liked the location and the staff all spoke English and were very helpful and accommodating. I would not hesitate to go back again. I loved the breakfast buffett, and I especially liked the security. I can't think of anything I did not like about Hotel Pizza Bellini.
The hotel facilities are good and clean, despite the fact that the building is old. It is located in the center of the city, at walking distance from de Museum and restaurants. The breakfast is very poor. Excellent for one night stay.
Avante garde in safe neighborhood of Naples. 15 mins to airport. Room was tremendous, clean and comfrotable.
the hotel location was perfect (near major sight but in a less hectic neighbourhood); the resturant next door was recommendable; overall room was confortable one can see quite some design efforts into it but some basic can be better maintained (e.g. the breakfast room was a bit dirty after first round), the room given to us was facing the major street which is a bit noisy and ond had to close window - considering there are so many rooms facing the inner yard and we had booked 4 nights in a row, I was a bit disappointed that they didn't give us a nicer room (but was too lazy to complaint after the first night)
Great location - right next to Piazza Bellini and in the heart of Centro Storico. The hotel is an oasis of calmness and neatness in the hectic (and dirty) city.
The location of the hotel was perfect. The free wifi was very useful. The room was a good size with a bath not just a shower. The view from the balcony of both vesuvius and the bay was great. Staff were very freindly and helpful. The breakfast was a little repetative.
Large, modern, air conditioned room; friendly, helpful staff. Difficult to find entrance.
The room was clean. The location was also good. Breakfast nice but area a little small One of the hotel staff was not helpful at all with site seeing question as we only had one day and wanted to make the best out with a day tour. She really didn't help, and was asking us what we wanted to see rather than telling us what is there to see. Yet another person in the evening was very helpful. Wish we could talk to him in the morning. He sent us to one of the best sites of Naples allowing us to have a panoramic view
The location was great. The breakfast was good and the staff was courteous and very helpful with our lost baggage. The shower was only a drip.
A real oasis in the heart of Naples. Hidden away from the chaotic colourful streets. Surprisingly quiet, tucked at the back of a courtyard - easy walking to museums, shops, Duomo , Piazza Dante. Only drawback is braving the rain as some of the upstairs rooms have outside access!
The location was perfect for seeing the historic city center area. Near shops and restaurants. Hotel was quiet in the midst of a very bustling city. Hotel was clean, staff were friendly and helpful.
Peace and quite in a very noisy and congested city.
Very clean, nice and comfortable room and staff was very friendly and helpful. Great breakfast offerings. Good value for the money and great location in old section of Naples. No.
Nice junior suite with mezzanine bedroom and small terrace overlooking garden; friendly cat; good location, good breakfast by continental standards.
Location; quietness once in the hotel; friendly personnel Bathroom a bit outdated; junior suite was on two levels, in the lower level one hears the phone ringing in reception - also at night. Actually ringing should be changed by flashing light
Small, quiet, elegant boutique hotel, staff was friendly and eager to help. Absolute find.
the comfort and the atmosphere, family style there was a leak in one of the toilet facilities, which was not repaired during our stay and we were not offered another room.
Clean rooms with a nice swimming pool area. Breakfasts were good with a nice selection of cheeses, ham, fruits and cereals and very good coffee. It had a very central location - a couple of minutes walk to the piazza bellini and also the historic centre.
only the location and the size of the room and the lady ( staff ) who helped to confort us ,exterior view is terrible but interior is more beautiful than the picture on the web. I booked this hotel according to Room Facilities . Unfortunately our room had no Balcony & Internet Facilities . I could only used internet from reception place for 5 min. They gave us a room at the top of the building which was very hot and airconditioning was not working .Then they changed our room . There air conditionning was working but it was very noisy and was not possible to sleep while it was working. , Very poor breakfast , cheese and ham/salami should be a must. We had our breakfast in a very small room which has no windows,Noone speak english fluently daytime, there is only young man at night shift.Hanger for towels and toilet paper holder was missing....
Staff was friendly and very helpful. The young lady who cleaned the room found an Ipod one of our party left behind and returned it to the owner.
I liked the easy check in and simplicity of the whole hotel. I could not buy a glass of wine when I came in after the Teatro ! I would have liked to relax with a glass of wine (very British possibly !)
the room was huge! and clean... the hotel was good located and easy to find. i totally recomend this hotel. the breakfast wasn't great. it's better to go to a bar and take a capuccino and a sfogliatella.
staff was helpful, room was very clean interior room without a window was stuffy, hot.
The staff were friendly and helpful. The decor was in very Good condition (indeed work on the hotel was not yet complete when we arrived). However when complete the hotel should be of a very high standard. The area around the hotel in common with much of Naples is dirty untidy and noisy. But the hotel itself does not reflect this - it was quite and very well run.
Room was fine and staff were all very nice Difficult to get Internet access thru both cable and Wifi
From the outside, it looks dreadful. But once you are in, it's another world. Recently restored, everything looks new, neat and clean. So did our room, which was also quite large. Excellent location to visit old Naples: parallel to Corso Umberto, it's really two minutes off the Basilica of Santa Chiara. The area is not top at night: it's a side street, small and with no parking facilities close to it (well, a 5 minutes walk to reach private parkings). Basic/poor breakfast (better to take advantage of one of the many nice "Pasticcerie"!). Last thing: even if the room was spotless, there was like a storeroom/wardrobe a bit dampy (but you could simply keep the door closed) in which an automated fan turned on in the morning and was a bit noisy: in case, ask to switch it off.
walking destance to the Central. the hotel was clean & new. they have frige and useful desk. a pretty big room. Stuffs don't speak English very much. But they try to understand what I said very much. The internet is too slow in the room. the breakfast is too poor. shower wasn't hot enough.
Once the staff arrived they were helpful and friendly. This hotel has no lobby so I can't say that I liked it. The breakfast was okay if you shop at markets and eat dry cereal, packaged meat, etc. It is more like a hostel but the ad doesn't say so. There was no one at the hotel when I arrived. The hotel does not have a sign, it is hidden in a multiuser building. The rooms are operated by a computer card, you leave the room all electricity is off.
I like small, but nice and clean hotel room
It was cheap. I came in for the night just to fly out the following morning so it was just a place to spend the night. it was fine for that. Room was clean but smelled way smoky!
The staff were really friendly, the hotel room was nicely decorated. The shower was hot and powerful (unlike the dribble we had in Rome) and it's location was excellent.
This hotel is really in the heart of Napels. All main attractions are in walking distance. Room is clean and well furnished, quiet, but small. Difficult to find. The street is unattractive. Don't go by car. No facilities. Did not find the free wireless internet.
Friendly staff, good value for money, clean rooms. Arrival to hotel makes you scary. Corridor is sad and not looking like entrance to hotel. But for Naples it is clean and easy. If more light and new paint is done, then it will be much nicer.
Everything was just great. The view from the hotel is on Capri, Sorrento and the bay. The rooms are lovely and the place very quiet. On top of that the hotel is very close to the station. Nothing
The staff were very helpful Squeaky bed
Excellent value for money & quiet considering the location, & helpful considerate staff.
good location very uncomfortable room
The location in the old city, cleanliness, price It is located right under the roof. In a day time got all the heat of July Napoly sun and during night it was very hot... Everything was excelent but this. However I was ok with it.
The location was fantastic. I also highly recommend the transfer from the airport (55.00 euros), money well spent.
The hotel is conveniently located, close to the old town. The staff were very rude. They were particularly unwelcoming due to the fact that we were travelling with a child. The hotel is on the third floor and does not have an elevator. The hotel is located in a very rough alleyway off the old town. Despite claiming to be a bed and breakfast, the hotel only gives a token for a cafe around the corner for a brioche and a coffee. That's a 2 Euro breakfast! This is the worst B+B I have staryed in for a long time!
The location of the hotel is very bad, not really safe and in a building with families. There is no one there when you need something. For example when your room does not close and people enter in it in the middle of the night........ And to do everything perfect they also give you a ticket to have a breakfast in a place which is close..... We really did not have a good time there!
I was very close to real life of city... It's not a hotel....It's Bed&Breakfast spot.
Very nice location & accomodation, friendly staff, and kind helpfull neighbours, Nobody at the location, with help of neigbours we reached the owner, this could be solved by putting recent gsm number on the door. (must say, we made a late reservation.) Unfortunaly very hard matresses and only cold water, but for one night ok!.
Breakfast and location, room facilities Non English speaking staffs.
good location in the middle of the city no heating
Walking up 96 steps with luggage after a long air flight as well as each time we had to leave for the day. Breakfast 3 blocks away from the rooms. A 4 square foot shower.
The rooms are excellent. The location is excellent, in the middle of the mediaeval city centre on a typical narrow street, amidst original Napolitan family life. You get your typical Italian (one piece of pastry and a cup of coffee) in the famous pasticceria of Angelo Carbone (directly round the corner). Some excellent (and really non-expensive restaurants and trattorie are directly around (pizzeria Gino Sorbillo, trattoria da Carmine, ristorante al Grifo). The reception is always closed, you need to telephone in order to make contact (bring your mobile phone!) and the staff do not keep their promises. Rooms are cleaned at irregular intervals as is the renewal of towels and the quality of cleaning varies also. You need to climb stairs to get to your room and the reception, as the elevator is strictly private (for he staff).
A good location in the centre of historical center. For Naples the location was quite quiet. Difficult to find the hotel - especially during the night. Although you see the odd numbers on the right side of the street, the hotel is on the top of the street on its left side, a third house from the crossroad.
all a very very good, compliments..
The staff was very unfreindly, the room smelled like sewage, the toliet leaked, the cleaning staff took it upon there self to use my wifes perfum when we were out of the room.
The central situation
The location It was a bit cold; no heating in the room
It was convenient for the main centre of Naples The room was like a prison cvell - it was dreary with no photos onthe walls. It was clean but not very comfortable and I did not really enjoy staying in it at all.
Very close to the centre of Naples On the top floor of an appartment block
Hotel was in a good location for a tourist Needs some toursit brochures for the main atractions of the area
For personal reason reason was near my meeting point and near my family for the price iI shoud have reveived free breack feast and air con was not incluted in the price
Location near the city center, good value for money, nice and clean, spacious quadruple room.
