Lack of quality in hotel rooms
very beautiful hotel and pleasant stuff, perfect location for skiing. It was VERY difficult to find hotel by specified gps coordinates! please check it It was VERY difficult to find hotel by specified gps coordinates! please check it
To be honest nothing. Thankfully we were skiing and did not spend too much time in the hotel. Our rooms were shabby and below standard of any 3 star hotel.
Fantastic, New owners, who have great plans, we went in July 2010 for one night on a tour through (ish) rooms perfect/clean , food excellent. If you are planning a skiing trip Jan/Feb 2011 GO None
We enjoyed the bar and the restaurant. The staff was helpful in offering details about local activities/skiing. Very good value for the money over the holiday. The actual room was very basic. Didn't have a dryer or outlet in the bathroom. There was a cat that entered our room several times--we r very allergic to cats.
A nice relaxing weekend break away. We had a lovely warm bright room. The staff were really friendly and nice. We loved having a balcony and big bath and tea and coffee facilities in the room... it was also great being close to everything.
The Hotel Mont Fort is clasified as a 3 star Hotel, but in reality it is a one star or two star hotel at best, but not a three star hotel. The hotel forgot the baby crib and it was missing the wooden support for the mattress and was placed beside an unstable mirror hanging on the wall which is unsafe.
I am afraid everything was coloured by the appaling nature of the rooms The rooms were so appalingly basic and small that I have no idea how this hotel acheives the 3* it claims. Terrible value for money.
Staff were very helpful. Great location and views. The restaurant meals were very good, as were the breakfasts.
Perfectly adequate for a three star hotel. very friendly and helpful hotel owners/staff Little things like shower holder not properly fixed to the wall and minor repairs needed
We liked just about everything. The beds were the most comfortable we'd ever slept in, the food was excellent, and the owner/operator Onno and his wife bring a new meaning to perpetual motion; I don't think they ever sleep? Service was first-class, and apparently "Anything is possible here", which was the answer to any requests that we made.
Friendly and very serviceminded staff! Excellent location just next to the Telecabin. Great food! The hotel is definitely a notch above all the other hotels in Nendaz, feels a lot more modern and tasteful!
As a family of 5 its always difficult to get good standard accomodation for the family at a great price in a great location. Hotel Les Etagnes offers all that - the family room was very comfortable and very clean with plenty of room. The bathroom and fitout are all new. The Breakfast was great ( for European style) and they have a good restuarant and atmosphere at nighttime. A Special mention for our host who was great and even drove us around town. Thoroughly recommend this hotel for Family stays.
Very warm, dynamic and kind welcome. This hotel is the ideal place to stay with you family, especially young children when in Nendaz. This is brand new renovated and the friendly athmosphere is just the cherry on the cake of a nice location and good pricing. Maybe, the matresses a bit too soft ... but not a real issue.
We liked it very much. Especially that the room was very clean and fresh and the beds were extremely comfortable. Also very good location if you are spending time or skiing in Nendaz. Breakfast was good and service friendly, helpful and genuine! Thank you. No. The hotel met our expectations.
Clean and comfortable. Convenient location - close to the lift in nendaz as well as ski shops, supermarkert. Free car park, though not gritted so difficult to get out from the bottom. Good food. Staff plolite. Apparently the chef is very good according to locals who eat there however we did not do this as were with friends and ate at their chalet. Quite pricey for what was offered. Breakfast meagre - definately a "petite" dejuner but good quality. The direct booking price was less than the one I paid from on booking.com!
Booking.com description said room was with balcony with mountain view. In fact although most rooms clearly have this we were in an older annex room attached to main hotel where the balcony looked over the car park and other chalets. I raised twice with staff but no response. On check out raised again and was told description on booking.com was wrong. So I suggest anyone booking here checks carefully aspects such as that, perhaps directly with hotel.
