service, design, breakfast, location
Staff was friendly and location was amazing...it was near the most popular part in prague... Ac was not cool enough...but weather was good anyways...
We had a wonderful time at the hotel, all the staff was very nice and helpfull. I recomend this hotel to every body.
I liked the kindness of the sraf. They helped us with every question and need. the room was cleened every day we left the room
1. Very friendly staff. 2. Large room with all facilities needed. 3. Excellent buffet breakfast. 4. Suitably located close to Prague attractions. Nothing. We had an enjoyable time.
Staff were very friendly, rooms beautifully furnished and a lovely upgrade due to the fact that this was our wedding anniversary. Breakfast is excellent.
very friendly staff. good facilities. central location
As shown above we paid for an upgraded room which included CD player and free pay channels. I was with my daughter and as we did not intend to be out late in the evening having films available to watch was the reason we upgraded. I asked the hotel reception and was told that they were not available.
Central location. Good breakfast. Efficient staff.
The staff were very friendly and helpful and the facilities were just what we required for our long weekend in Prague.
The food and drink were excellent and the rooms were spacious and well presented. The service was good and staff very attentive. Heavy smoking in the bar with no area to go to get away from it.
Nice location Old hotel
Unfriendly staff. Location is excellent. Facility is old. Room small but adequate. Good to just sleep, take a shower and get the hell out
Excellent location, nice stuff, comfortable room.
The Location is exellent. Hotel is Clean and safe for Tourist and Business people.
Fantastic location Breakfast was disappointing
The location Wifi was working very badly. I wasnt able to connect to it and the staff was not skilled enough to help me.
The location, spacious room, friendly staff and excellent breakfeast poor lighting conditions in the room and lack of lobby
friendly , helpful staff
just the location, it is perfect. you don't need to take bus or merto to visit the historical Prague The breakfast was poor. and if you want to have a shower you shoul do it with cold water- there was no hot water!!!
Excellent service from the staff and a very spacious room (by European standards). Its location is central, however, the neighborhood is a bit seedy, as there are "cabarets" on just about every corner, and men who approach you and solicit you to go to these places.
We liked the central location with easy access to the metro and train station. Also short walking distance to Old Town area. Quiet and comfortable rooms. Good breakfasts. Efficient and helpful receptionists.
location and beautifully decorated hotel, excellent breakfast It was like a good symphony badly played, the Aircon was poor, you could not cool the room enough to sleep under the doonas provided, the windows, single glazed, let in a lot of noise, nothing was replaced in the room in 4 days. They grabbed your bags in the foyer and you then had to tip, not giving you a choice.
good central location for sightseeing. Room comfortable. Noisy outside with early morning bottle bank collection.
This is a new hotel and right now it is in extremely good shape. I like the location with easy access to shopping and all major attractions. My hotel room didn't just have hotel-like furniture, rather, it was designed in a type of art deco style. Obviously someone actually thought this trough and it shows. Of course, there is a good danger that the quality will not last. As we often see in similar new hotels, the moment the staff lets the first dirt spot remain on the carpet or upholstery, it will go down hill. But if they manage to keep their standards high, this will be my first hotel choice anytime I am in Prague. The buffet breakfast, although good, had rather limited choices.
Well-maintained hotel, close to Wenceslas Square and Old Town, with friendly, polite staff and providing ample breakfast to suit all tastes. Its closeness to the centre's drinking establishments can mean noisy revellers on the street below on a Saturday night.
Cleaning could have been better, room needs more electric plugs in my opinion. Room very dry.
Convenient location, breakfast
Great location, 10 min walk to old town square, very clean, modern, comfortable, breakfast is decent. Rude staff but above average by comparison to czech standards. Advertised wifi in room but this is not true. Only in lobby.
Everything was almost perfect during our stay at BW Maj Plaza. The staff was nice and friendly, we had our room cleaned every day and the way how it was done was nicely with care not to tuch our thigs. The breakfast wasn't the same all the time-there was a little bit of variety. The location is also very comfortable espesially for tourists and business trips, as there are two metro station next to the hotel and it's a 10 or 15 min walk to Orloj. At the same time it wasn't noisy at all around the hotel. For short, we enjoyed our stay at the BW Maj Plaza. Well, I think, that the reason why I feel a little bit upset about my stay at the hotel hardly can be removed or improved. The matter is that there is a bad bathroom sound insulation. We didn't hear any sounds but only the moments when somebody - I mean our neirbours - took shower or bath. I could hear the water sound and the noise because of using different things at the bathroom. So sometimes I thought that our neibours had their bathroom in our bedroom. Nevertheless it would be a little bit stressfull only for those people who has a sensitive sleeping like me:)) My husband slept very well in the mornings and heard nothing:)
The hotel was very clean, but we found its style was old fashioned. I had requested a double bed in my booking which you confirmed was available, on arrival i recieved a twin beded room.
The staff service is outstanding, perfect and very nice.
From the moment I arrived, Oktavi at the front desk established this Hotel as Superior in every way, I honestly felt like I was being received at a 5 star hotel. The room was excellent, enormous windows, luxurious linens, a bathroom that anyone would envy to have in their own home, (a full-size deep-set tub, antique external plumbing fixtures of stainless and brass, Carrera marble everywhere, a bidet and plenty of counter space). Breakfast was the best of 8 hotels I stayed in on this visit, endless variety, perfect service, mountains of choices. I loved this hotel, it was worth twice the price I paid for it. Housekeeping was the only weak point, but even so, it wasn't bad enough to complain about. It was only a shadow in an otherwise perfect experience.
Staff very nice and helpful. excellent service we stayed in a room next to the lift. the noise was terrible!
The location was excellent. The room was luxurious. The breakfasts were plentiful and delicious. It was terrific having our car taken care of at check-in in this very busy city.
Proximity to all sites in Prague, to the metro, to the trams, to the shopping area. Service excellent. Bar very quiet at night. We had to go out to have a drink in a social atmosphere.
The location and the decor. No.
Quality of fixtures and finishes was high - Bathroom very nice, Breakfast room and selection excellent. Service of all staff very high. Location very good.
Staff spoke English very well and helped with every little detail.
The hotel is situated next to the one of central street in Prague. Service is excellent. They have problem with Internet connection. It was exception that this time I really had to connect with the Internet... but I couldnt.
The day we left my 13 yr old daughter was sick - we were allowed to keep one of our rooms without any fuss until 7.0p.m. - she was much inproved by then - that touch was just great No
location is excellent. you can do all the important sites by walking. you don't need the metro. It was not 5 stars hotel service. We needed to argue about late checkout although the hotel was empty, the food in breakfast was cold, the room was small and no ventilation. The price of the transfer from the airport was outrageous.
If next time I am go to Prague, I will stay only this hotel.Thank you.
The hotel is beautiful. Our room was clean, comfortable, quiet, and completely lovely. fantastic location in Prague!
very welcoming and clean. good location
Very nice hotel. Comfortable rooms. Free English movie channels. The two strip clubs next door made it difficult to walk to the hotel at night without getting harassed to go in. Also, large groups of men hung out in the street which was not ideal for a solo female traveler
Really loud Staff was not friendly
Excellent value for money, Breakfast was great. Nothiung
Great hotel in a great location.
The location is very good for a tourist in Prague
the location of the hotel none
Perfect location to everything. Need to get better pillows
Hotel staff most pleasant & helpful. Good variety for breakfast. The location was not in a good area. "Cabaret Darling" right next door gave an indication of the type of area we were in. This is a pity for the hotel as it is very good.
Location, cleanliness, friendliness & efficiency of staff, good breakfast. NO
We were very satisfied with the location, staff service, comfort and etc. We found the room very small.
The staff was the best Prague, Europe or anywhere could offer. Spacious rooms, meticulously clean, heart of the action, spacious and comfortable rooms. The atmosphere and decor are the finest. If you want to stay where every need is catered, this is the place. The staff was definitely thebest I've ever encountered. We had a 6:15 AM departing flight, they had a van waiting for us at 4:00. Lucia, at the desk even had packed us breakfast to go because of the early hour. The lobby bar wait staff was phenomenal, friendly and recommended great places to eat, drink, attractions. I will definitely be back. That I had to leave
Great service, were very accommodating to our needs- charming suite! Thanks :)
The hotel location is excellant but rooms are very small and is not upon to my level Size of the room
almost every thing, location, food, the room. room cleaing and service was not up to the standard of five star hotel
location of the hotel
clean, quiet, cosy room with style, nice breakfast, good and polite service, good location adds up to a perfect stay too few and small elevators
Breakfast and location Air in the room was stuffy because it was a smoking room, also lobby bar was full of smoke. Room was too warm because there was no air condition. Bed was hard.
good breakfast spread though it was made to understand that it is airconditioned the room was very hot
I like relax, shoping,to work in internet,to visit interesting place of the city A poor choice on the breakfast
Great location - charming old world atmosphere - good breakfast The Front Desk staff could be less "frosty" and more accommodating (especially ladies)
The staff was extremely friendly. The location was great (near to everything). My room was even better than I expected from the photos.
Very nice hotel - excellent facilities, helpful staff, central location Only negative points were lack of individual air conditioning in room. I stayed in April, so was not too much of a problem, but I imagine in the summer it could be very hot. Also the walls seem thin, so I could hear when people were using the shower next in the next room
Everything was great... the hotel...the staff...the facilities....it has a payed parking but only for a few cars and its pretty expensive.... the room was great ...clean....big bathroom....big room...much light... very close to city center .... has a wellness facility available .....masseur(and its pretty cheap and very good) What can i say...i reccomend it warmly and if i visit prague for the future will definitely go to the same hotel :)
Comfortable and clean, good location, restuarants nearby. good breakfast
all ok, but only coffe expres no good, perhaps because i am italian....
Location was good, 24 hr reception No bar
everything was perfect. there was no internet corner.
The hotel is very central located, just some steps from Wenceslas Square, rooms were very clean, modern and nice in design, big breakfast buffet with everything you desire, restaurants and cafes in the same street, supermarket is not very far to walk...i can recommend this hotel to every prague visitor!
It was very central, just off Wens. Square. There was a small shop just across the road from the hotel. An Irish bar, Indian Rest. Steak Rest. all on the street. I asked the receptionist to recommend an Italian Rest. in the Old Town & she said she did not know any.
The quietude inside the hotel and the helpfullness of the employees. The breakfast was also quite nice. It's not really a hotel problem per se, but the street gets very noise at night with people talking loudly and cars going on really fast... It's more like a Prague problem than any other thing. We were on the 4th floor and it was a bit annoying during the night, but the comfortable beds did compensate it :)
Nice staff and clear facitlies,Easy accessibility location for city sightseeing and tour,
We paid the extra to get a room with a view and outdoor area - this was a minimal charge which was well worth it. We were on the top level of the hotel and had a huge outdoor area (with lounging outdoor chairs and a table) which only we had access to - the view wasn't bad either. The rooms were clean, there was ample choice for breakfast and it was in a great spot to see the town.
The room is spacious and clean, very comfortable. Only a bit trouble with the bed, one of them is slanting, they did some correction to it after we told the reception, but it still slants a bit.
In first, this hotel sutuatede close to prague Central Station and Metro station and it is convenient to moving & sightseeing.
excellent location and amazing breakfast nothing
We really enjoyed the buffet breakfast it was very varied. We also loved where it was positioned! So close to the square and some great pubs.
The modern decor and the room size was excellent. The hotel was clean and staff were very friendly and spoke really good english. Breakfast was excellent - lots of choice. Small entrance door to hotel made it difficult to see how to get in. There needs to be better signage on the external doors.
In a reasonably quiet location but near enough for walking to main spots.
The restaurant was open but all the lights were switched off. You had to request the barman/ waiter if you wanted to eat in. The facilities for disabled customers entails entering and leaving the hotel through the garage entrance, not entirely suitable. The smell in our room from the drains was overpowering. Complaints to reception fell on deaf ears. A truly horrible experience.
Very nice hotel, within a walking distance of main Prague attractions;however in a quiet area. Personnel was very helpful and polite. Rooms are very large and cosy and the breakfast would definitely suit to a 5star hotel! Totally recommended! 2 minor issues, that however matter: a) for a superior room like the one we've booked, there could be a pair of slippers (just only because it was winter time) b) it would be nice for a double bed to have one large blanket instead of 2.
Location, rooms, breakfast excellent, staff friendly, all round very plesent stay No
Location, variety of breakfast, room size and style, The limited opening times and availability of the sanua/steam room
Close to center It was a little too "tight and shut in".
Comfort and staff. No Lobby
Location was excellent, right on the Wenceslas Square. All attractions including Old Town, Charles Bridge, Prague Castle were at walakable distance from the Hotel Rokoko. Room was really nice. Breakfast was also good. At night the Wenceslas Square can get quite noisy.
Location is very nice. The room is quite comfortable. Breakfasts are good enough. Staff are very friendly. Good hotel. not
Perfect view on square in front of the hotel. Wobderful place - close to everything you need in Prague. Nice, clean and big enough room (it was double for single use). From room you can see one of popular nigth danceclub on the roof in the building on the opposite side of the square (but i don't think that everyone like that). Noise that comes from the square, even at dusk. Breakfast could be better. And its not so good that breakfast served in the basement.
Location is great. Hotel provided free wired internet in room. Hotel doesn't change the bed sheet and pillow case every day. Hotel staff says it will change it every five days. It's unacceptable for a hotel.
very good location, helpful staff, comfortable hotel. The hotel has no air conditioning, and room service close windows, so no draught to refresh the room. The fan offered did not work when the key-card was not in the room.
The hotel is in a very good location. The breakfasts were quite rich. I found the reception staff very cooperative and helpful.
perfect location. right in the heart of wenceslas square
Open 24 hours and it is safe. Stunning buffet breakfast
The service minded and helpful staff. We all talked with each other like friends after just a short while. Even the managers took time to make us feel comfortable. The staff were all very young but extremely professional. Very trendy hotel in the middle of Prague. Good prices on room service. The beds which were Hästens Of Sweden, the best ones in the world. Finger print safe. LCD-TV and Dvd player. The interior design was beautiful. No, everything was just perfect. This hotel made this trip the best one we ever made.
The bed was really comfortable. We had a good sleep. Reception was very kind and breakfast was not simple but not bad. Location is also nice, close to Wencelas Square and Old Town. Not suitable for honeymoon because this is not a 5-star hotel, but a boutique hotel. The water pressure in the shower booth was a bit weak.
The situation is excelent if you are going to visit the city of Prague. The service is very good, they are very pleased to help you, if you need restaurants or whatever.
it was fabulous. the staff has been so helpful that my friend needed an ipod charger. The GM had the staff to buy the charger to loan it to us. the staff really went all the way to please us. mmmm... the cleanliness of the room can be improved
very clean, nice stakk and excellent location
Extremely noizy on Saturday night due to night club in the same building
Wonderful bed, good shower, and fantastically helpful staff. Great value and a step above more Ikea-esque "design hotels" I've seen.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Great rooms and excellent breakfast.
Stylish hotel, outstanding service and very helpful staff. All made for a great weekend and i am sure to return, highly recommended.
The hotel was absolutely awesome. So stylish and so cool! The staff is excellent. They have a kind of a club on the ground floor where you can get some drinks, but there is no noise at all! I'd definately stay there again! It's kind of hard to find the hotel
I traveled with my dad, and we both appreciated the help in getting car service to and from the central train station in Prague. We also appreciated having their delicious breakfast and the option of eating in the adjoining cafe. All we came into contact with were very friendly and spoke great English, which was a big help to us. Nothing I can think of.
Location of hotel was excellent. Would recommend in future. We asked for a 3 adult room, but one of the beds was a put-you-up. A bit disappointed with this.
Clean, quiet, friendly and ideal location to walk or catch metro to all locations. We went on recommendation and would like to pass on the good news. NO
location, service, rooms terrible coffe at breakfest
Rooms were very good and well-presented. As I said above, your location is excellent for a visitor. I feel that Wenceslas Square is not very attractive -- too much neon and advertising signs are spoiling the appearance of what should be a beautiful area with delightful buildings.
Excellent location very friendly staff Tea or coffee facilities in room would of been nice
Very clean and spacious No internet
The central location, rooms were clean and tidy, breakfast was really good the noise of bank being refurbished underneath the hotel, it started at 8am and finished and 6pm! could have had tea and coffee facilities in room.
The hotel was in a brilliant location.. real easy acess for everything we needed.. very warm at all times.. the only thing was television.. only 2 english channels.. have heard since getting back 1 hotel has a dvd libary.. with a dvd player
a very good clean hotel in a central location
Central location Most of the staff were excellent with the exception of the restaurant manager who was rude and arrogant.
Location - our room faced quiet green garden, but out of entry door - and you are in the middle of busy central boulevard close to metro and old city. Good breakfast (especially just made pancakes), friendly staff, clean and comfortable room, TV channels in variety of languages.
Convenience of position Service was fair Breakfast was poor - one morning (Saturday) very poor
Location was good, breakfast was more than sufficient although coffee could have been of better quality to complent the high standard and breakfast choice. room size and furnishings were very good. would highly recommend.
location location location no
The hotel has a superb central location with nice views over the city from our room on the 6th floor. Breakfast choice was good, and the Triton restaurant set in a natural cave served real czech food that was quite superb with service to match. A definate "gem" Smoking in the restaurant, as prague does not have UK type restrictions on this
Beautiful hotel, pleasant staff. There were some problems - internet access costs 100 Kc/hour, we were placed in correct room type in the third try, bedclothes were refreshed only in the last day of our staying, they even did not that in day of our wedding.
Friendly, clean, location, breakfast
Reading some of the rewiews I have to say that I was extremely satisfied. Friendly and helpful staff, very comfortable beds, nice rooms, great location /everything is in walking distance/. You must see the cave restaurant /amazing atmosphere and excellent meals/
friendly staff and very clean
Excellent location in the center of Prague. The breakfast could better.
Good breakfast buffet and good location
The complimentary breakfast was excellent - great variety and good value for money. The staff were also very attentive
Location Breakfast was cheap (no brewed coffee, no fresh juice, cappucino extra charge) considering the price paid per night. Extra person charge is higher than normal rate in Europe.
location and friendliness
Good breakfast and pleasant staff particuarly the receptionist who booked us in and then had to change our room. A bit of a shock when we arrived to find it was being completely renovated at front, however after a room change to back of Hotel it was fine and certainly didnt inconveience us at all.
Everything was great! The hotel was very close to city center (max. 10 minutes by walking) and also it was near to Metro Station. The room was very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was excellent and all staff was very friendly and helpful. You get the worth of your money. Nothing.
Location, restaurant food. Hotel is not 5 star but a very good 4 staff is not a helpful one they forgot to wake me up for my flight and get me a taxi that I asked them night before
My daughter and I came to Prague for the Christmas Markets which were great fun. The restaurants were very good with live music in most. We thought the hotel was excellent and the staff very helpful. The only thing we found a bit menacing was that there were a great deal of men around the area whom where obviously touting for business. It stopped us from going out on our first night but we did find that they did not bother us. So we would not recommend this hotel for lone ladies.
location is excellent bathroom is poor so bad
godd quality of wi-fi room's too small
close to train station. room was clean and big. nice to stay.
Very nice Hotel at a nice price. Perfect breakfast Lack of balkonies
The hotel is located at the heart of Prague city center, few steps from shopping locations, from subway station and an easy walking distance from the historic old buildings. Our room was clean and quiet. Service (breakfast) was very good as well.
Good location at a good price. Friendly staff. Wired broadband didn't work: I was told that this was due to my PC which seems unlikely (I was able to access a slow wireless connection). Noisy rooms could benefit for double glazing.
I belive that everything was perfect and according to our booking, with full breakfast buffet. Perfect location , near to everything! The only negative for the hotel (not for our accomodation but generaly) is its outside, it's like a shopping center as in the ground, first and second floor of the building has stores. But that has nothing to do with hotel's negative (we did not find any)!!!
very pleasent receptionist, good breakfest on the top floor, very good location not value for official price - good value for discount price 85 Euro
Great location in the heart of the center of Prague , very clean and excellent price for what it offers. Staff is not so friendly , but this is general in Prague and Room was a little noisy .
The hotel was right in the centre of town but yet there room were very quiet. Location was excellent. The kitchen was great to have. Did a few home cooked meals. The staff were very friendly. The hotel was very clean.
Great staff, excellent room (I did have one of the best), value and locality. Single elevator was a drawback.
