The location was perfect for walking to most all of the tourist sites! Most sites were a 10 minute easy walk. We also loved the breakfast room with a view, and the breakfast was really good too. The morning desk person was very friendly and most helpful. He spoke English well and even helped us book our train ticket to Bari. We didn't like the hard bed and flat pillows. But that is personal preference.
convenience to centre attractions smoking odour throughout hotel; we had to change rooms on the second day because of this (I specified non-smoking room); bad odour from washroom as well on first room. Bread at breakfast was not fresh nor was scrambled eggs and bacon cooked well; and coffee was warm not hot.
The location was great-within walking distance to everything. Unlike many hotels in Rome, it was quiet because it was not on a main street. The rooms were mostly updated and had a very charming decor. The person at the desk recommended great restaurants. They keep the dirty toilet brush next to the toilet, causing the room to smell. The hair dryer was old and did not work; I was ignored when I told the front desk about it. It appears that the hotel employees receive a cash kick back for recommending tours and transportation. The tour they recommended was not good. We asked for a taxi to take us to the airport and without our permission, they sent a private car which was more expensive.
The day clerk was very helpful. He always had a 'friend' who could do a tour etc. But the friends all turned out quite well. The breakfast room is very pleasant. The offering was fine -- would have liked some fresh fruit. It is really located in a back alley, so our room had no sunlight. We had a quad (two adults and two children) which was really small. The night clerk was not helpful at all.
The staff were very friendly. Breakfast over looking the terraces was nice.
The rooms were clean. Reception staff helpful. The hotel was not a 4* more like 2/3* hotel. The breakfast buffet was very poor, compared to the previous hotel we stayed in which was a 3*.The upgrade rooms were just standard rooms, compared to the English Choice Hotels we have stayed in previously. Had a problem with our standard room, but it was sorted out quickly and reasonable.
great location, nice little bar in lobby, great view from breakfast room.
The service from the staff at the front desk and in the breakfast room was excellant. the location was great! The rooms were small and cramped as was the lobby area. hotel was ranked as 4 star but appeared as a 3 star. The food for the breakfast was old: the yoghurt was past the expiration date, apples had brown spots and they were the ony fresh fruit. the only other fruit was canned peaches.
Its very close to anything in Rome. The room smelled of smoke, the breakfast was terribly for a 4* hotel.
Very friendly front desk reception and helpful service staff. Location was sick walking distance to beauty sites, restaurants and bars. Breakfast was ready, fresh and had a sweet terrace view of the city. Room was mediocre size and amenity wise (physical dimensions were small, linens and things were average).
they upgraded us to a suite too close to trevi fountain so there were too many people up and down the street; chose because breakfast was said to be so good-- we have had better.
Location was great. Room size for Europe was very good. Had room with terrace which was nice. Will stay again in future and recommend highly to others.
Closeness to city centre; still quiet and cosy Reception personnel a bit cold; other personnel very friendly
extremely close to all points of interest in Rome city including all classical sites. Reasonably quiet, if that is at all possible in Rome. The restaurant was not appealing to us: the prices were quite high, the service was slow and it was right next to a major traffic artery as well as the to the foot pass leading to Fontana Trevi.
The hotel was in an excellent location. The memory foam beds were extremely comfortable. We especially enjoyed the private patio. The bathroom was not clean. There were dirty fingerprints on the wall and even a bloody one. Breakfast food was very good but the waitresses were very impatient with guests when the coffee machine was out of order.
Excellent room, bathroom and hotel Poor service, arrogant and unhelpful staff made interactions with reception unpleasant. "Attempts" were made to service the room after 2pm each day exactly when we returned to our room after spending the morning and early afternoon sightseeing. This poor timing of the proposed servicing of the room was obviously intentional so as to avoid servicing the room. No soaps where replaced during the 4 night stay. Initially laundry was not done even after making a special trip to reception to obtain forms and understanding of their proposed laundry procedure. Laundry was only completed after an argument with reception. The hotel stay was not good because although the hotel is great but management is very poor
Excellent location for tourists. Front desk staff lacked smile, and not very helpful apart from the very basics.
Central location, clean rooms, well working aircon Staff at reception was too formal, no way to get a smile...Breakfast is out of wack for a 4* hotel, internet should be free and not at euros 20/hr...
Location was excellent and the staff were friendly and very helpful. Room was excellent - very clean and comfortable.
1. location 2. room breakfast is to correspond to the price (quality and choice are very poor)
The location is great. The room was comfortable enough. The hotel lounge was cozy. No wireless connection, despite the hotel staff is persuaded there is one. Ethernet connection + movies overpriced. Multimedia defficiency for a 5 star hotel.
the location is perfect to see all the sights. it's very central to the Spanish steps and with in walking distance to the rest of the city it wasn't as upscale as we thought it was going to be, and for the price breakfast should have been included
Location Un renovated rooms, wifi doesn't work well and they make you pay for it, we had to change rooms. This hotel needs to be renovated. This is really not a small leading hotel or a 5 stars hotel as marketed
Location was excellent. On a quiet road so not noisy. Staff were not very friendly. Restaurant suggestions were not great and no irons to borrow which surprised us for a 5 star.
location II was upgraded from Junior Suit to a Executive suit which had a nice bedroom and a larger then a corridor made up to a living room. You had to watch the TV from a distance of perhaps 2 meters. There was another room with a table in the middle with 4 chairs nothing else which was useless.very small lifts.
All ok excpt the air condition. Air condition was bad not cooling enough.
Location, friendliness of staff, The rooms at the 5Th floor were unproper of a 5 star hotel, the price is over to high
The location is excellent for a good short holiday in Rome. Central. We did not like the first room were put in: room 379: tacky and filthy carpet and aged cranky bathroom.
Convenient possition. Room in need of decoration for standard of hotel.
They tried to be of service for every request. It was not directly accessible to taxi service
Has an excellent location in the heart of rome.we reached most of the historical location by walking. The smell in the breakfast area.
Everything was delightful, reception staff, cleaning staff & breakfast staff. Reception/lobby was on the first floor. They also had a porter to take our bags. This was extremely helpful since we had my mother in law's wheel chair. There was nothing we didn't like.
Location Front Desk Staff Room (304) was small, linen did not feel clean. Bathroom was not good. Shower did not work. We had to get our room changed. Overall, I would not return
I liked the location and the staff. They didn't have air conditioning, it only worked the last day.
Excellent location Service, starting from the basics such as a lobby or meeting area, hot water to wash at the morning, etc
The location was excellent. The staff was unprofessional, unhelpful.
The perfect location in the centre of the city, the nice room with a classic superior interior, good breakfast The bathroom was nice but after taking a shower, the floor was all wet due to poor sealing of the bathtub. Also dust in certain parts of the room. But still a nice hotel with a luxury atmosphere due to the interior.
Location was excellent. Within walking distance to all sights. Staff were very friendly and efficient.
location and cleanliness No good coffee at breakfast!
in the center but quiet at night, very good breakfast, friendly and helpfull reception, good taxi'limo service
Couldn't ask for better location as a first time visitor. You can reach all the tourist spots on foot (that's what I did even though bus stops are only round the corner). Very good breakfast. Room size - so small that I couldn't find any space to put my 'closed' suitcase.
location is wonderful, right in the city center very noisy on Sunday night with disco pub downstairs till midnight, room is very small and narrow, too expensive with such poor facility
Hotel is centrally locaed; its public spaces are modern and our standard room, which appeared to have been recently renovated, had a nice old world charm with high ceilins and beautiful finishes.
Very well located, confortable and good value for price. Room quite small, but acceptable for short accomodation.
Friendly, helpful staff. Clean & bright. Reasonably priced considering it is in the centre of Rome. We intend to return to the city & intend to stay at the Cosmopolita again.; The room was slightly small. The shower cubicle was very small.
the Place no view from the window
location of the hotel is excellent for all main attractions and restaurants The hotel staff were unfriendly and a touch unhelpful, especially reception. Breakfast was a little disappointing too
I would recommend this hotel for its cleanliness, fantastic location and very friendly staff.
Location was excellent - also had very good lunch, breakfast and coffee facilities
The location was very good, with a small baby it was very easy reach Fontana di Trevi, Piazza di Spagna and Via Del Corso. Rooms were very clean. Breakfast was not sufficient and full of delicatessen. So called open buffet contained Philadelphia cheese and some kind of cream cheeses. It would be nice if they had Mozzarella and other local Italian cheeses. Breakfast extras were so so expensive, we offered boiled eggs for our little son, it was 4 euros! Overall, I can say that hotel was expensive.
The hotel corridors and common use areas are old. Rooms were looking better in the Web pictures increasing the expectations.
Good central position, but hard for taxis to stop outside. If you have a room overlooking the street, it is very noisy, and the beds are also not comfortable
location small room
All the Hotel staff where friendly and very helpful, Breakfast was part serve your self and waiter/waitress service for your drinks and with as much as you wanted to eat and drink to set you up for the day. The bar facilities where good and comfortable but a bit pricey but it is a first class hotel in a city centre so this is to be expected. A short work and you are in one of the main shopping streets of Rome. The Trevi fountain is 5 min walk away and the Spanish steps are about 10 min walk but be prepared for the heat it was a lot hotter for the time of year than we expected at 33 C. The hotel air con was a must at night. We did not feel it was too expensive, I have stayed in more expensive hotels and no where nears as good in the UK. This Hotel comes highly recommended from both myself and my wife. Nothing at all. I would stay there again if I was to return th Rome
Nice situataion, very central.
The hotel staff was very helpful in everything we asked. The location of the hotel was perfect. In the middle of both sightseeing and shopping.
The room 112 was excellent. Very nice little patio, very quiet in the evenings. Cleaned every day in a very good manner. Superior staff. None.
Overall good package. Location is prime, breakfast like family, friendly staff, clean and warm environment.
location of hotel
Central to all attractions Very small room, with no natural light. Hotel is being renovated, and you have to use two different lifts. Superior rooms are overpriced.
The room was extremely clean and cozy. The view was an inaccessible patio cluttered with cigarette butts. The minifridge had alcohol bottles filled with water that demonstrated the staff doesn't check too carefully nor actually clean the fridge. Room was small.
the adress to much noise from other rooms. too small rooms.
Recently and tastefully renovated room. Good location, yet still on a quiet corner.
the location is perfect!!!!!! you can go everywhere !!!!!
I LIKE THE EXCELLENT LOCATION, THE CONFORT OF ROOM, THE STAFF MY ROOM WAS TOO SMALL, THE PRICE WAS TOO Hight for a 3 star hotel
Trevi near the Hotel, near the good restrant and bank, best location!
we like the location of the hotel, the cleannes and the staff- they were so nice and helpful.
Location Size of room, and mattress to hard
location, friendly, modern room no
Location closeness to Trevi fountain and other points of center. Helpfulness of staff. Claustrophobic building with little room to move around. First impressions are shocking. You only go to the hotel room when you are ready to hit the sack. Crowded front desk in the morning, staffed by a single person. Breakfast bar was crowded and can benfit from removal of at least half the tables.
The staff were very friendly, helpful and easy to deal with. It was refreshing to find a hotel that was like this after so many seemed so cold in personality. The room and building was also excellent, clean and really I don't think you could ask for more or a better place for a stay in Rome. The only thing I would changed or added was that if Egg's were part of the Breakfast. Just after travelling for 3 weeks I was craving sold meals first thing in the morning.
Close to City centre, quiet,
The hotel is near the Trevi Fountain in a very quit pedestrian area. Every tourist object in the centre can be reached by feet easily. Hotel staff - especially Giancarlo - was very very friendly. We liked also the (restaurant) recommendations very much. The rooms are small and the water in Rome seams to destroy bathrooms fittings very soon, they were in poor condition. But we would recommend this hotel to every friend who looks for a stay in the center of Rome!
Good location. Staff very disorganised in breakfast room in and check-in particular and bedroom very dark even with lights switched on in the daytime.
I liked it's proximity to the Trevi Fountain and easy access to other sites Breakfast was not included and the dining room was extremely tight and difficult to move around in when getting up for food. Food was not great.
the location small room
Was a great hotel with excellent staff who helped us and guided us. The location was great! there were no noises also coming from the street. Everything was walkable distance. We got a beautiful room beyond our expectations.
Breakfast was great, but crowded. Internet did not work, staff seemed a bit disorganized, hotel plumbing had some issues and the overall value of the room was not good at all; however, we had limted options on a busy weekend in Rome and enjoyed our stay despite the extremely overpriced rooms.
The staff very helpful and nice
Location excellent Room very small (expected in Rome) but without a window (no view anyway as hotel is in an alley) and had a third bed in the room which made it very crowded.
Very friendly staff.Breakfast was just OK.Location was OK. This is not a 4 star hotel. Not even near.Room VERY small. Not a good deal for the money paid.
Location. Location. Location. The room was a little disappointing for a 4 star hotel.
Your ubication is the best, The rooms dont like nothing and the wifi is so poor
