Excellent position, 10 min walk to Piazza Venezzia, 25 min walk to Trevi Fountain. Good area, beautiful architectural buildings There is room to improve the staff at the reception, and the staff at the restaurant.
The access to the sites in Rome. The quality of the superior room.
location was a plus factor, surrounded by many cafes/restaurants, metro and bus station close by, although all major sites within walking distance the superior room i booked looked contemporary with nice furnishings, however on arrival we were allocated something completely different, when i complained i was informed there was more than one type of superior room, it was only when i refused to move from reception that the room i thought i had booked was allocated to us so beware you may end up at the front of the hotel overlooking a very busy/loud main road. Stated television with internarional channels, only one english one - BBC World News ! No tea/coffee making facilities in the room - unacceptable for the price we paid.
location was great!!! in the middle of via nationale, great shopping area, very close to the metro ( 5 mins walk). WIFI connection and for those who don't have laptops, there is a business room in the lobby. The hotel is infront of a great cafe that also has reasonable prices. No breakfest included... hotel staff should have more knowledge of places to go and recommend more specific places.
Liked the location, the room, facilities, breakfast The air conditioning wasnt working properly.
nothing many things
Location is good all room facilities was old. Awful service, unhelpful and somethimes rude. The room was very smal and uncorfotable. There is no air conditioner. Our windows look on yard. And every morning we woke because of someone`s talking loudly in the yard. We cant even see the sky, because of tightness of the yard. Absolutely awful breakfast. noone from the staff pay attention to you. The salad was spoiled, pineapples turn sour. I will never stop in this hotel. it may have 2 star, not 4!
very central to rome attractions clean comfortable no bar or resturant
Excellent, modern and clean room, with a large bathroom Check-in and front counter staff were frequently distracted (on the phone, etc) and at times not particularly helpful
The location was good and the hotel was convenient for sightseeing in Rome as it was only a 15 minute walk from the coloseum and Trevi fountain. We chose an economy room which I wouldn't recommend as the beds are far too small for two people.
Literally not much. I think some part of our stay should be refunded. If not for the terrible event in the morning the for the misadvertisement of ammenities. We were late for our train had already paid for our room. I have stayed in four and five star hotels plenty. Not saying we didn't look young or scruffy but in no way we're we staying above our means. We tried to leave quickly in the morning they assumed we trashed the room they locked us inside the lobby, and threatened to call the police if we left before they checked. So I tried to explain they had my credit card and passport on file and I would give them my phone number if there were any issues my best friend who I was traveling with pleads with him in Italian and he starts yelling at my friend physically restraining him. It was disgusting behavior for a four star hotel. Also there was no gym which they advertised they had and essentially was the only reason we booked the hotel. This would never fly any where else I have stayed it was truly deplorable, but more then that I was just disappointed to have had search for a place that seemed nice and welcoming and comfortable, a break from the rest of our journey, and instead been sucked into a place with so little respect for its clientele. It's on a horribly touristy street filled with a couple bad restaurants a Hard Rock Cafe and a strip club. Although there is a fantastic wine shop around the corner with a very sweet owner.
The location is perfect. Really nice breakfast. Nice spaces for chat with friends. Very kind and helpful staff. There was no control of heating/air-conditioning in every room.
Welcoming staff. Good location. Real continental breakfast (acceptable variety of the food). Cleaning of the room can be done later. Sound isolation could be improved. Bad coffee served during the breakfast.
Nice location on the Via Venito close to the Metro station. Lots of very good restaurants nearby and walking distance to the Spanish Steps. The service was wonderful and most of the front desk staff spoke English. Everyone was helpful and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. The bathroom was very tight. The wifi worked well in the lobby, but our room was at the far end of the third floor hall and the signal was off and on.
We stay at the Imperiale every time we go to Rome...Always a pleasure!!
The staff was incredibly helpful AND always so cheerful! The rooms were beautifully appointed. It's in a great location that's beautiful (especially at night) but not overrun with tourists. A little more info on the Metro & where/how to buy tickets would have been great.
very good location!the metro station nearby.shoping and historical area 10 minutes walking! the back room was very small but when we complained about that ,they change us to a front room(via venetto) who was very nice and much bigger!very bad coffe in breakfast.in Italy??
Location was good, close to shops and attractions. Breakfast was plain but acceptable.
The location is excellent, near the tube station and walking distance from little restaurants and shops, and one of the main attractions in Rome, the Fontena di Trevi The breakfast, despite being a buffet didn't have a great choice, there was no fresh coffee (in Italy come on..!!)...we did ask for a quadruple room and as we were 2 couples, one of us had to have 2 separate beds as they couldn't provide 2 double beds..which was a shame..and it was soo noisy at nights, shame about it!
I liked the location
I liked that the hotel was in the center of Rome I think it was very expensive for what you get...
great location. some staff helpful. One man behind front desk was rude! I know standard check in is not until 3pm. He first tells me he'll get my room ready by 230 or so. OK, I sit and wait til 315PM, he has totally forgotten me after letting other folks in. then he disappears. Finally I ask and another manager lets me in my room and apologies.
Great location, 5 minutes walk from termini and about 15 mins to other attractions. Breakfast lovely, staff helpful, rooms were very nice and bed comfy. Perftect for a short break away.
location very good.staff extremely helpful
excellent location, rooms are small but they have everything, bathrooms are beautiful, once again they have everything, even tv in bathroom, clean, very comfortable, delicious breakfast with many choices, staff friendly, good value for money, can't say enough good thinigs
The service was amazing! The rooms were clean an comfortable. Great location! Nothing
Location is good and has very very nice breakfast. Room is clean and quite comfortable as a 3/4 stars hotel. Air conditioning not working well. Also the safe box is not working too.
friendly staff the room is quite small, and not sound proof
They welcome you with a complimentary drink and cookies, which was great. the location is very centrical, the room very clean and the staff was great..fantastic! We would stay here again.
consigliere Mario and others terrific TV poor. No inroom internet service. Bathroom floors not washed
The location and the room was very clean and nice. Their breakfast was great to start off the day and most of the staff were very nice, the younger ones could work on their people skills a tad.
It's a nice, small hotel, not on the main street (just around a corner). Buffet breakfast was very nice. Very small rooms. The toilet flushing was terrible (room. no.104).
Very friendly and helpful staff. Extremely nice breakfast which started at 7am so enabled us to have a full day sight seeing!!
Good location. Hotel could need a renovation
Comfortable room, very good staff on the receptin. There was much noise of traffic. A bad coffee.
Interier of the hotel look very royal, and look very good. Good location near Termini station. The services is comparative to 2stars hotels. Is not possible consider it as a 4stars hotel. Internet conection is not free, a lot of things in a room were broken, or were getting broke throughout. Heating too noisy, that was not possible to sleep normaly. When we turned it off, was too cold in a room. Safe broken as well, was not possible open it. First day cleaning at about 4pm, what disturbed us while having siesta.
The single room was not very clean, and had a smell that came in from the open window from a rubbish bin outside.
Hotel is clean and staff is nice Bed whas not at the level. Bathroom needs renovation asap its clean but very old fashioned.
Close to many city attractions, museums, etc. The reception staff, with exception of Fawsil, was way too cold, impersonal, no signs of emotion on their faces. They need desperatly extensive training regarding human relations. A smile or a corteous attitude goes a long way and costs nothing, yet makes people feel welcome. Especially tourists. same goes to the breakfast room. The guy , looks too stiff with a superiority complex and a total lack of courtesy. Recommend training to all of them. The sheets were stained with blood and were not changed during our five day stay.
Staff, location, breakfast
Breakfast, Cleaning in Room thin walls. could hear noise from other rooms
Good service in the reception.Very good and clean bathroom ond room.
The staff were very kind
The location was great. Easy access to most of the Rome attractions. hotel nice, stuff friendly. Room could be larger and the breakfast was definitely not on the 4 stars level.
Good location. Friendly staff, good at English. Nice room.
Good base for visiting all the main attractions
the location is good. near the terminal and subway station room is old and poor air conditioning system.
The location is very good. If you're willing to walk (essential for a trip in Rome), you can visit the Trevi Fountain, the Colosseum and Piazza di Spagna (among many others) on foot. If you are not willing to walk, the hotel is very close to one of the many subway stations in the city (although I think Rome is for those who like to walk a lot!) Although very small (the bathroom is minimal!), The room is cozy and tastefully decorated. The staff is helpful and speaks good English, especially the gentleman who assisted me (Tony was his name) who was extremely friendly and attentive! Very important: we had access to high speed internet in our room, which for us is essential. Very good! The breakfast was ok, but nothing else. The price I paid at the time was good - the standards of the city of Rome. It is important to the traveler to know that Rome is one of the cities where the hotels are more expensive and with lower quality. Do not expect anything too good to stay in for less than usd 300.00. If you want to spend less (yet still too much for a three star hotel in another city), will have to settle for small rooms, as is the case of this hotel.
Nice friendly staff , good location
Friendly staff, quiet room, and they let me check in 4 hours early which was great! Room was very small but the bathroom was nice and spacious.
The location The personnel on the restaurant wasn’t very friendly, must of them has a long faces, and that in my idea doesn’t gave a good impression to the guests.
Quiet and cosy hotel with frendly staff. Good breakfast!
Room was clean, nicely decorated, and the bathroom was larger than I would have imagined. I'm a tall person and had no trouble in the shower (assuming you are used to turning water off while soaping up). Breakfast was nice - typical Italian breakfast options - and the coffee/espresso based drinks were very reasonably priced. WiFi worked great in my room. Lots of stairs to get to reception and the lift is quite small.
since most of the time I was out, the staff of the Hotel is superb and I hope that I acan travel to any other destination , I will find staff like this N/A
Staff were extremely helpful and pleasant, the hotel was spotless and room very comfortable. You couldn't wish for a more central position to view Rome.
The staff and service was excellent. It was also centrally located and had very good breakfasts.
Very clean sheets and an excellent location to see all the tourist sights. Very helpful staff. Roof top restuarant over rated
Friendly, helpful staff and the location of the hotel. Also the roof top restuarant was very nice. We were also offered a private pick up from and to the airport which was at no extra cost to a taxi. Could have had more choice at breakfast
Location excellent, great and very helpful staff, big size of bed, Very small room, very poor breakfast( only ham and cheese every day), no network in the room
Great location, friendly staff I found the bed to be hard and the pillows uncomfortable.
For first night i got room with little window under the ceiling and very bad smell. For next nights they change the room.
The front office team were lovely had fluent english and were very helpful and they were also happy to store our luggage at no additional charge on our day of departure as our flight was not until 8pm. The location of the Hotel is ideal for a city break with all "must see" places within walking distance. Its location is also ideal to join any of the City bus tours. The breakfast could do with additional items but in saying that what was provided was of good quality and refreshed regularly. The only thing negative comment is that I found the drinks in the Hotel expensive.
The location was great (5 mins walking from the Spanish Steps) and the staff were very friendly.
The location of this hotel in relation to all the sights of Rome is fantastic. We enjoyed the rooftop breakfast room and the standard of the breakfast. The room and its bathrom were very spacious and it's a short walk to the metro.
This is a great small hotel. The staff were very hosptiable and and informative regarding sightseeing tips and directions. Breakfast was plentiful and good. Location is excellent being near Colosseum, Forum, and ease of bus and metro stops. All was good.
Friendly, helpful staff, clean room, good breakfast
Location, breakfast accomodation
A Friendly, family-owned hotel, excellent for my 16 yr old son and me. Well-sited, close to the city centre, in a quiet one-way street; shops, restaurants and gelateria all close at hand. Handy for public transport (metro or bus) to the Vatican. Hotel has been modernised; clean and comfortable twin room, reasonable size, air-con, double-glazed. Rooftop breakfast buffet, ample to eat. Helpful and cheerful staff. We would certainly come back here.
Convenient location. Nice clean functional rooms. Great staff. Good deal.
polite and friendly English speaking staff, nice single room, the room has a safe, good breakfast (excellent cappuccino), fairly good location within walking distance to major attractions (transport almost never used, just for a trip to a football match at the Olympic Stadium and the Vatican ), a quiet street outside the hotel in the evening, a good selection of inexpensive restaurants near the hotel (especially like to mention DoDo) minor flaws which is not affected the overall positive impression: the water temperature in the shower is not very well regulated (I had to wait some time before the water reaches the desired temperature), towels are too thin, more like a sheet than bath towels, TV is blocked when switching to some channels
Location, within walking distance of almost all main tourist attractions in Rome. Well fitted out, friendly, helpful staff.
good breakfast, in a good area, kind people
Room was tiny - unlike other hotels in the area. Staff neglected to tell us about an additional fee when they summoned a taxi for us. We left early in the a.m. and they did accommodate us with breakfast on the go.
The staff were friendly and internet access was free
Excellent service, friendly staff, great breakfast. Highly recommend this hotel to others.
The staff and the location It would help to have a clock in the room. It would not be a costly addition.
The area - very close to the train station, subway, and bus routes Some of the staff was very rude
Location Breakfast - limited choice
Staff was very helpful and the room was comfortable, clean and quiet. Breakfast was yummy. Only issue was that the lift was a little slow, but no big deal really.
Excellent value for the E74 that we paid. Top location and a quiet area for Rome. Will be my first choice in Rome next time providing the price remains reasonable.
the location was great, the entire hotel was very clean, the breakfast was nice, the room had more amenities than I expected, the staff was very accomodating.
Staff were excellent, location was perfect. Wonderful value for money. Room was very clean, big and lovely bathroom too. Free wifi, sky TV, air conditioning!
The location was convenient for sightseeing the majority of Rome' favored sites. Comfortable room with air conditioning, satellite television and wi-fi. A loaner laptop was provided free to the room which was ideal. Elevator was a classic but efficient. The staff was professional and most helpful in answering and arranging our sightseeing requirements. The staff was delightful and was a major reason in our decision to extend our stay for an additional three nights. The rain that met us on the first day!
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was very clean. Free beverages in room were a plus. Although shower was small, it was roomy compared to other places. Walking distance to most places. We only had to take a taxi once (to the Vatican). Bed was a bit hard, but noticed it's like that at every hotel.
