The facility was elegant in a rustic way. The saun area was beautiful. The staff friendly and professional. Because the place has 140 husky dogs it is an ideal place for dog lovers. We were there at summer time but at winter they offer husky safaris. That would be an amazing experience. The facility is about 4km from the main highway at the end of a gravel road. A bit remote.
Good location for this trip, reasonable price, clean rooms. dinner options were a bit limited at around 8.30 pm
Blue cheese soup in restaurant Everything else. No internet in room. Rooms situated away from reception/restaurant/internet facilities. Had to walk at least 150 metres in pouring rain to get to these facilities. Breakfast was awful, having to fight with a coach load of people to get anything at all. Orange juice dispenser was empty at the start of breakfast. That says it all.
All was good, except rather low temperature in room and absence shampoo and bricked-soap.
Good spacious room with good facilities (sauna, internet, good beds, nice decoration). Good value for money restaurant facilities for dinner and lunch. Location at the edge of National Park with extensive walking facilities. No
Really, we liked everything in the hotel. We'll advise Tunturi Hotel to our friends. We'd like to come again in some other season. But the breakfast could be more various! But the breakfast could be more various!
Private Sauna in the room. No pool available. Room heating wasn't working.
the silence during the night
Sauna in the room, very quiet, friendly staff and reasonable prices for food and drinks. Good beds! The room got very hot during the day and no airco or fan available.
Silence by nights. Cosy inside. Free sauna. Free internet in lobby Cleaning of the room is rare and not so good
It was a good stop between Nordcap and Helsink (we drove 7101 km in 4 weeks...)i. Fun to stay at a a ski/wintersport hotel in the summer... Nice nature outside our room. Service was good and very friendly. A good breakfast buffet. Dinner was ok. Good free and safe parking in front of the hotel. Hotel is showing its age. It is a pity that there was mold in the shower (in the joints of the shower's tiles) and no, I did not complain about it to the hotel management although I took a picture of it. I wonder why the cleaning team do not notice this as we have had it in a few times in other hotels in the world as well. The beds were much too soft in our opinion. Summer time the hotel is used by large tourist groups coming by buses. Makes the breakfast buffet a bit crowded at a given time as the groups have to follow a strict schedule. Not a 4 star hotel. More like a good 2 star.
Great hotel in quiet place, balcony, sauna included in price, nice nature around, good view from hotel to mountains, good breakfast & staff, reindeers walking near hotel.
Gym room and sauna
Staff were very pleasent The hotel is very 80s deco - expensive for what facilities it has on offer
Hotel staff were very friendly and kind. Easy to join winter activities (e.g. snowmobile safari, northern lights tours...). What I disliked the most was that there was a TV board located right above the suitcase storage which wasn't high enough. I got my forehead cut seriously by the corner of the TV board. Although I could manage to stop bleeding without help, I think it is highly hazardous to the guests espeacially with . Apart from that, bathroom facility was very old and poor. Restaurant can be unclean during breakfast hours.
The front staffs are very friendly and nice. Wi-fi internet was so helpful. ホテルスタッフが親切で、とても話しかけやすかった。
Good beakfast, nice staff and activity(snow mobile, skiing and so on) Our room is rather small for three person and no bath(only shower)
Comfortable and well located hotel. Great breakfast selection. Recommend dinner at the hotel restaurant (in particular the salmon is cooked really well).
We loved our stay at the Lapland Hotel Riekonlinna. It was just my daughter and myself and we felt very safe at the hotel. The staff couldn't have been nicer. Our room looked out to the trees and mountains and it was just beautiful. The hotel has a special room just to view the Northern Lights. There was also a display of pictures that were taken from this room of the Aurora Borealis. It was the wrong time of year for us to see the lights but I can only imagine how wonderful it is.
I was there for one night and it was off season so the hotel was quiet. Out my bedroom window was the riverbank lined with birch trees and the river with a dock and skid-doos available. Sauna newly renovated and good. The hotel was very comfortable and the staff helpful. Good beer in the bar where I ate dinner and a lot of menu options for dinner. Breakfast included in cost of stay. The airport is only 15 min drive and its new, small and easy to manage. Bathroom needed some updating.
