Staff were pleasant and helpful. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Nice location. We returned to Tel Aviv after going south and choose to rebook at Vital because the staff had been nice. The breakfast was a bit boring - but adequate.I would have liked to use the fridge for cold water - not only as a mini bar.
that it was in a very convenient location, the staff were very helpful and breakfast was superb! No, We enjoyed are stayed very much and would certainly go back.
The location was excellent. The room was very clean, spacious and lovely. The staff were all courteous & helpful. The Business Lounge was wonderful. Booking the Executive Double room was well worth the price. I would definitely stay there again and I highly recommend it. No problems or complaints.
The hotel is a fine design. Staff are very helpful and kind. The hotel placed at the city center wich wasn a very important thing for me. All my meeting was made at the business lounge placed at the 12th floor and equiped with all what Ih'v need as a business traveler. I'm sure I will come back to Vital Hotel.
Confort Free WIFI is only applicable for the rack rates and not for advanced purchase rate.
Crew very nice and very helpfull. Good location. Very clean. Excellent hotel.
Very friendly and helpful staff, clean and styliish rooms, free use of one of the best gyms in Tel Aviv and free Wifi (booking.com said it wasn't included but it was for us). Although it's not close to the beach, it is close to one of the most high end shopping areas and close to lots of good restaurants. There is a bus that takes you very close to the beach in 15 minutes and plenty of taxis. We got a very good deal through this site and I was happy to have the customer ratings. Some of the other hotels we saw were misleadingly good loooking with terrible ratings and I can recommend the Vital hotel easily. It's smart and friendly. At first our room was facing directly onto the neighbouring (and close) tower block so it didn't have a good view on anything but the staff quickly remedied that. Not all Taxi drivers know the Wiezman centre so take the number and address so you don't get messed around.
The Hotel is basic but comfortable. The rooms are nice, clean and quiet with a adequate breakfast. The locations is not great as far as a tourist would be concerned but it is sufficient for Business Travellers who only need to stay for a few nights. The shopping center at the ground floor does not have much to offer particularly when it comes to food. On another note there is great confusion and frustration with the elevators
the location. Rooms are nice but pretty small. The girls at the front desk are sweet but the front desk manager seems to me totally foregin to the hospitality business. Stiff and unfriendly.
Room was clean The 15:00 check in time
The location is excellent. It is ok if you really are on a budget or for a family as it has some kitchen facilities which we didn't use. We were out most of the the time, then fine. It is not value for money in an international context but I suppose it is for Israel, which is expensive. Our room was quiet, the aircon was working properly. When we got there there was no one to open the door (Friday). We had to phone someone to tell us the code and get in. Eventually a nice Russian lady came, who did not speak any English. We managed somehow as we speak some Serbian! Our room wasn't ready until 3.00 - we had lunch, no problem but ... Eventually on Sunday there was someone at the desk!, Which made a different as we coulod ask someone about check out , etc. The initial impression wasn't good, they should sort this out. I read this on a review, it obviously is the procedure every time and not something that just happened once!
the positive is the location, & quiet room. not much good to say. no staff except for 1 russian woman who checked us in and cleaned the room between stays. in 5 nights she brought us clean towels once. had to make our own beds (sheets were left in a pile). advertised as a 1 BR, but the "kitchen" only had a sink, microwave and half-fridge- false advertising . bathtub w sharp peeling enamel paint w rust that i cut myself on. price was a rip off -they converted from the 107/night to shekels, using a poor exchange rate that was 4 shekels, such a poor exchange rate that the exchange kiosks were far better-- i had a big fight to get a better exchange and still lost $. dont stay here unless you are strapped for $ and there is no better choice
In the midst of the 'Dizengoff arts scene' with lots of local color. Not too far to the sea, huge diversity of eating places / coffee shops. Fridge and sink, good beds, elevator. Dishes and cutlery provided, very clean. Price more than made up for any 'adventures'. Good Internet in lobby, decent security. It's not the King David, but very adequate for the budget-minded. Staff was nice / helpful. Shower water leaked out on floor. Tiniest shower in Middle East. Pictures made the room look way larger than it really was. Noisy when window was opened. Doors were flimsy, not soundproof. Ear plugs mandatory.
Very nice room. Both efficient and charming hotel staff. The hotel is in the center of Tel Aviv and at the same time very close to the beach.
Good location close to good cafes, restaurants, shopping, money changers, taxis and the beachfront. The room is basic but clean, bed is OK. Staff are friendly and helpful, they accommodated check-in in the very early morning. There is no phone in the room, but there is a public phone right outside the hotel.
Good basic place to sleep, plus a kitchenette. Parking is practically impossible, but public buses are frequent so you can park outside the city center and take the bus.
One of the receptionists, Olga, was very friendly and helpful. The location is good. The rooms are very basic. Air conditioning is very poor. This is not the value I would expect for this money.
This is a well positioned hotel for both city and beach. Its situation on a main road is clearly an advantage. Not all staff spoke English which was a problem. Communication between staff was not good -a deposit I had paid had been overlooked at the final billing stage. I did not like the way that although on the Booking.com website I had asked for a price in GBP I was quoted in US dollars. At the billing stage, my bill was converted into ILS (at a very disadvantagous rate I may add) and was considerably higher than the amount if I had been billed in USD. I therefoe consider this establishment rather less than truthful.
The only thing we liked during our one night stay there was its central location We stayed only one night out of the 13 nights we originaly booked for because of the state of cleanliness in the room. The blankets were tatty and when asked to change them we were told that they don't have any others. eventually we were offered a duvet - in the heat of Tel-Aviv.
More a residence then a hotel it definitely lacks charm. Very functional rooms where everything just works. Great selection of cable TV channels. The kitchen is handy combined with the supermarket just downstairs. No room service and no English spoken.
There is nothing to write here, it was an awful experience staying at the Ophir Hotel. I reserved online, and since I was arriving Tel Aviv in the middle of the night, I contacted them by email to assure them I was coming and to hold my room. They even acknowledged my email! When I got there, they had sold my room, and put me in a worker's room with no toilet, and mattresses on the floor in a 6 x 12 room. It was miserable. They refunded a small amount of the money the next day. I will never book with Ophir again.
There was a bed, so I suppose that was helpful. This was honestly the worst hotel or hostel I have ever stayed in. It was half built, the bathroom door was leaning on the wall (it was not attached and functioning), the shower and sink were still in the process of being installed, there were paint cans/ supplies everywhere, there was a window that looked directly into an apartment building without any blinds/covers so there was literally no privacy. The owner tried to overcharge us after we booked the room on booking.com. There were things guaranteed in the add (such as air conditioning, shower, etc...) that were either non existent of not in proper working order. It was terrible.
Terribly noisy hotel with grey linen, broken cloaca, turned off plinth and quests who are playng violin from 9 A.M. till midnight. Bathroom is increadibly cold as there is a big ventilation hole in the wall and there is no any heatinr there. Man on the reception has been smoking all the day. Breakfast is a cup of instant coffee and 2 croissants.
actually tried to check out of the room, but was told i was not allowed to. the room was disgusting. the sheets were dirty all facilities were dirty. the staff was extremely rude. and upon check out the staff says their credit machine doesnt work so you need to go to an ATM and get cash. RUDE the entire experiance.
They don't accept bank cards for payment; the worst thing in this hotel is cockroaches.
Very noisy location, the window frame was broken so my room was even noisier, the credit card machine was broken so i had to pay cash, the room was very old and there were no controls for the A/C. This should not have been the only available choice in a city like Tel Aviv.
friendly staf, good location room not clean, room not cleaned during my stay, no wireless internet (though promised on website) only very slow connection through other network in area, no creditcard payment possible, breakfast in cafe 500m away (and 1 of 2 days not possible)...
it is on heart of the city. u can walk to tel aviv's trendy places. it is not comfortable than a youth hostel.
Dirty, they also tried to cheat us on the room type and cost
nothing (only location) the hotel entrance was dirty people smoked there, it looked dingy, the room was clean-ish though all the electrical socket covers fell, the shower was lukewarm to cold, the air condition was controlled from "reception" and switch itself off after some time, on the hallway on the 1st floor the floor was wet from a faulty air condition unit. Breakfast was nasty and should not be included in the price. all in all I would recommend for anyone to avoid this hotel like the plague.
I liked the location. It was close to the beach and on top of all the shops, bars, supermarkets, chemists, banks etc. the staff were very friendly and immediately acted upon a situation that needed sorting out. before my trip, my emails and phone calls were dealt with immediately and i didnt have to wait hours or days for replies. everything in the kitchen area of the room was easy and straightforward to use. I have no real complaints. I think there should have been an iron in the room but i know if i wanted to use one, they would have made it available. I think the towels could have been slightly better quality.
Free WiFi. Good breakfast. Helpful staff.
Helpfulness on Front Desk--surrounded by good shopping and excellent restaurants--excellent food and service at the Marco outdoor Cafe--breakfast is included in rate and has a variety of choices
Great location just 100 m off beach. Nice and cosy Italian cafe.
That it was near the city center, in the crowded area next to the shops, very helpful for me too much noise from the main road, traffic and horns
Perfect location, nice rooms, no noise at night, nice balcony, close to the beach, close to shopping and nice restaurants, good breakfast. Everything we hoped for traveling with a small child.
The breackfast at the attached restaurant is very nice and tasty, the hotel is walking distance fom the beach and city center. Very noisy location, you must sleep with windows shut. Cleaning need impruvment! No doors between the"2" rooms, if you choose a suit
Large bedroom, well equipped kitchen area.
Location for Money--this area of Tel Aviv is very busy but the renovation of a former apartment building was very carefully done so there is virtually no noise--if you want good street and people views take the balcony suites
We felt very welcome, and were impressed by the restaurant and the great choice of breakfast. We did a fair bit of sightseeing and the directions we got from the staff were clear and accurate. The suite was perfect for our needs and was clean, the upstairs balcony was a delight to sit and soak up the city. The location of the suites is fantastic, a short stroll to the promenade and great for shopping! The bedroom downstairs did not have a door.
Very good service and spacious room. The restaurant on the 11th floor was a bit pricey, the food was okay, the service was very good.
breakfast was nice, beds comfortable. this is the only i would say. nothing to do with Crown Plaza that i have expected. the hotel is in the middle of nowhere...i regret that i stayed in that hotel. in tel aviv there are very many nice beach hotels with wonderful view. here, even taxi drivers do not know how to get to that hotel...
Clean and fresh linens Dinner was overpriced
The location was fantastic. The pool and spa was great. In the business lounge the food was delicious. The staff was helpful. There was nothing not to like
Although the area is now the older area,we still found this position very convenient The bath towels. They definately need replacing
Nice sun roof for relaxation and discussions. Conveniently placed in the city. Courteous personnel. Bicycles available for free. Mediocre breakfast.
Very friendly staff, central location, nice breakfast
a basic hotel not more
Beautiful common spaces, eclectic design elements, comfortable and attrractive rooms, highly recommend
Excellent Bauhaus design and very welcoming staff. They should change windows to something that blocks sounds from the street. It was very noisy during the night - nearly impossible to sleep.
Sun deck was good, location at Dizengoff was run down and had seen better days. Restaurant staff good. Room very sparse, Staff at the desk just about managed a hello. No smiles here. Not terribly welcoming after a long day travelling.
5:00 Terrace "snack-time" was fantastic
Design. Cleanleaness. Location. Internet access. Breakfast. Free Parking. Room very small. People with clausrofobia should avoid it.
Excellent location. An old bauhaus style cinema reconverted into a hotel boutique.
Helpful staff, Clean and having the free bikes made it very easy to get around:-)
functional room. excellent breakfast much better than the 5 star panorama hotel in haifa. very good value for money highly recommended excellent helpful friendly receptionists. nothing much for the money we paid we where more than happy.
It was our second time at center chick hotel and it was great as at the first time. The "happy hour" was fun and exactly at the right timing. The crew was extremely nice and friendly. And of course no one can compete with the fantastic location.
the location and the room Hotel staff.....kind of rude
A great location, very clean, most helpful staff and good breakfasts No dislikes...all positives!!!
the attempt to turn a 60's building into somewhat of a design location Staff is unfriendly, a 15 min wait in the morning to get a table for breakfast, the old bathrooms
Good location, convenient for beach and public transport. Friendly, helpful staff who gave me good bar/restaurant recommendations. The recommendation book at reception is a great idea! Lastly, the breakfasts were delicious and varied every day. I'd like to go back there.
Arrived at hotel 6.30 am and I was allowed to check in early at no extra charge. Breakfast across road in Cinema Hotel good with plenty of choices.
It is well located, clean, comfortable, small, intimate, friendly. The staff was very courtous and helpful.
The location, very friendly and helpful staff, free internet use, roomy balcony with table and chairs, empty fridge, pleasing decor, view of Dizengoff square The room smelt of smoke every time we entered it. If we had stayed longer, I would have wanted to change rooms. The lack of a comfortable chair.
The staff were great, very helpful and always nice. The hotel couldn't be better located, right on Dizengoff-- close to the Dizengoff Center and very walkable to all parts of the city. The rooms are fine, clean and nice, but small. It seems that they all have balconies, which was great. Like most of Tel Aviv, it can be pricey.
It's hard to choose my favorite element. The staff was friendly and helpful, the wireless internet was reasonably fast and my room was nicely, though not lavishly, appointed and included a small kitchenette, refrigerator and my own private roofdeck - all for a very reasonable price! The lighting in the halls could have been better, but I think that's my worst complaint.
Staff (good English and Russian speaking, very frendly and helping), lokation in the center of Tel Aviv, 10 minutes to the beach on foot. Nothing, thank you!
excellent location, and parking facility
The place was not big but it was clean and comfortable. The staff were very helpful and polite. N/A
The Staff were very friendly and courteous and very, very helpful. I found nothing to fault. I especially liked the free wi-fi in my room
Because it is nea the beach In the bathroom there was No soup / shampoo which it was ..very strange..in my opinion
I opted for a private bathroom which seemed like a very good choice. I also received a voucher for a meal at a restaurant right on the beach, so tha was a good value. There is no elevator - the hotel is pretty bare bones. The room also had a non-functioning television that took a while to fix since they don't have repair staff on hand.
just location the hotel was dirty and smelly. and it is not a hotel, it is a guest house in very bad condition.
The greatest thing is that you get a vaucher for a restaurant on the beach that you can use whenever you like - not only for breakfast. The hotel - or rather hostel - is good value for the money you pay. If you use the room only to sleep there and to take a shower, it is o.k. If you want to spent a lot of time inside, it is the wrong place to chose.
The meal vouchers were super! The personnel at the desk very helpful at all times. Maps were available and the bus route across the street and handy. The beach was an added plus.
The fact that I was in Telaviv. We arrived at 6pm. I had NO idea the desk hours because all attempts to contact them to ask these details in advance failed. There was a key left for us, which we learned by buzzing a very grumpy person who was clearly pissed off at being disturbed. The AC was off and there were no notes, no instructions, not even a fan. The paint was peeling off the walls. My allergies went nuts and I found it difficult to breathe because of the mold. The photos had been taken of the new kitchen area and I falsely assumed the rest of the apt would be as nice. The next day, I could not stand another sweaty sleepless night , so I buzzed the grumpy man again and was told "Lady this is NOT a hotel, it is an apartment, you don't get service here!" Turns out the AC had a remote control which was hidden in a cabinet and the batteries were dead. I figured it out, just as the grumpy man's friend, who was a bit nicer, but curt, showed up long enough to see I had solved the issue and left. No niceties, like "hi" or how is your stay? were ever exchanged. They certainly did not seem to care about any form of customer service. For the price of here, you can rent a very nice hotel closer to anything you might want to see or do. NOT worth the money!!!!
