good location no free internet connection and poor TV. extras for a young child
The welcome from all the staff and the couresy and kindness shown to us at all times. We did not enjoy the canned music in the lift. A shower cap could be provided.
Surprisingly friendly place with generous rooms that were well presented. Staff were very helpful with our baby. Useful small gym, pool and sauna area. The beds were a bit too soft for my taste, and some of the detailing lacked quality in the finish.
Breakfast and ambiance The size of the swimmingpool was a bit disappointing
The location of this beautiful hotel is central and convenient for a city trip. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the rooms spacious and comfortable We had diner in the restaurant and that was not that good.
The duvet and pillows were amazing! Loved the whole luxury feel of the hotel when I entered as well. The receptionist told us the wrong time for breakfast, so we missed it. The check out time was far to early - the room was booked for a day (24 hours) should be able to check out 24 hours later.
Central location. Comfortable bed. Room was rather dark and had no additional lighting options. Wardrobe rails far too high for comfortable access of hanging clothes.
Very nice, high quality hotel with friendly staff
Veri friendly staff, very luxurious rooms. Noisy - room windows not noiseproof.
location is perfect, staff is good and friendly i am used to a higher class of hotels
Central location friendly staff
big room high garage fee, bad parking possibility
The location was fantastic ... really central. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the room was great and reasonably priced. Will definitely come back! Nothing ... I loved it all!!!
the staff were so friendly and helpful, very accomidating. lovely modern feel to the hotel, loved the bathrooms
Good staff, everything clean and sparkling
The hotel was in a great central location with very clean and modern rooms. The staff were very friendly and helpful too.
Very good staff, exelent location also good parking in hotel. No elevator from garage.
The location of the hotel and the pleasant and helpful nature of the hotel staff were the best aspects of the Hotel. I cannot think of anything that I did not like.
Close to the center of the city
This is a solid, easy-to-use hotel in the center of The Hague. Centrally located, and within walking distance to almost everything. The staff is friendly, helpful, unobtrusive. The rooms are clean, modern.
the rooms, the location
This time I got the totally new renovated room. And it was superb!! Great bathroom and bed. Very fancy and absolute value for money!
Your staff were excellent - helpful, courteous and pleasant. I stayed at the hotel partly because of the rate and location, however your staff would make me choose this hotel again.
Clean, staff friendly and helpful, The last night there the room was not serviced, bed not done up and clean towels wre not provided. I thought the breakfast was extremely expensive for the quality
The rooms were refurbished and very very clean. My child was given a seperate bedroom included in the price. Very central to shops/bars etc.
Modern room with good equipment. Internet is too expensive (6€/hour), but free public WiFi from the neighbouring library works. Noise from the corridor can be heard through the room door. Expensive breakfast (20€)
I liked the hotel's Central location and good value for money. It was also very quiet which I appreciiated
Design and decoration of the rooms Location, although it is close to the city center, it is in a bad area, where one can feel quite uncomfortable. Breakfast not included.
Location was great, access to public tranportation to nearly everywhere. Room was not as cramped as other hotels in the Netherlands. Friendly and helpfull staff. A baby crib was provided in our room. quiet room. fulfilled most of my expectations. Standard practice of not changing sheets each morning by the cleaning person. Probably the same in other hotels in the Netherlands. Nevertheless was changed without hassle when asked. Breakfast too expensive for 18 Euros per person. However many alternatives nearby.
Excellent hotel in terms of location and the friendliness of the staff. The rooms are short on towels and there are no staff at night.
Quiet and clean rooms, good breakfast. I asked to book parking slot in advance, but when we arrived the private parking was full. We had to use public parking nearby.
Very efficient and friendly service and staff. The hotel has a comfortable, relaxed atmosphere and is in a very convenient and quiet location for the town centre.
the situation and the building the English-style douche
Friendly staff, nice room, perfect breakfast. Very small bathroom, no bath, lookeed old.
The location was excellent - very central for all the sights. The checkout receptionist was unfriendly and aloof, to say the least. I left the hotel with rather unpleasant feelings.
The decor and the location No
The room (302) smelled to sweat; staff of the hotel used some air freshener but this didn’t help much. It was as if the windows were not open for long time and the curtains got this smell. The bottom of the curtains was dirty.
- the position of the hotel is excellent - the view from the room window was fabulous - Japaneese dining room is very fashionable
it was a very quiet room airco and heating doesn't work to well
Kind and efficient staff The room was a little bit small
Shopping and restraunts were very accessable. Quiet. View from room was not much chop.
Very pleasant and helpful staff Extrenal noise (my room was near the staff carpark and exit from the kitchen)
We really enjoyed our 3 nights at this hotel and were very glad that we'd stayed in Den Haag instead of Amsterdam which was only 50 mins away by train. Set in a lovely quiet area close to public transport (which was frequent and efficient), near lovely shops, great restaurants and even an antique market on Thursdays so it was perfect. The hotel itself was very welcoming and the rooms well appointed and spotlessly clean. The breakfasts were excellent (try the poached eggs!) and the outside bar area very nice too. The hotel is only 40 mins from Amsterdam airport which is also very convenient for travellers. The charming little city of Delft is only 30 mins away by tram and has a fantastic antique market on Saturdays. No it was all good.
The hotel is well maintained. Clean and pleasant.
The room is excellent. However the stairs is awful ! The room is excellent. It is not so near to walk from the city center.
the neighborhood was excellent, although in the center but very quiet and beautiful. not modern at all.
Good value for money, but not excellent I have expected more due to photos
Staff was exceptionally good. expensive parking and expensive breakfast.
Very friendly staff, pleasant atmosphere and good room
Staff, Comfort, convenience Lack of business facilities
Very nice hotel. The decor is designed in an old Dutch style mixed with modern amenities, high ceilings, bright windows and very comfortable bed. The breakfast is 23.50 per person, which is a bit steep.
Nice room They told me they didnt have any smoking rooms available, even though i'd booked one. I complained the phone didn't work, but receptio told me it did. They came up later and, of course, it didnt.
The hotel was better than expected. I The hotel was very near to tram station and to the shpping area, the room and the toilet was clean was clean. The staff was very helpful I really felt I was at home rather than a hotel.
The staff was friendly and tried to help but unfortunately wasnt very knowledgeable i.e. on how to fix things and knowing that the internet connection was down. The breakfast was okay. The mattress wasnt very comfortable, the safe in my room didnt work, the expensive internet connection was down, when i checked out, they tried to charge me an additional 20euros per day.
My booking promised free wifi but the receptionist did not have this information and so I had to pay for Wifi access at €5 an hour. Neither did the room seem particularly spacious so can only guess that I was allocated a standard room. I did not have a printout of the booking and arrived late so didn't have the energy to argue. Ground floor room, which for a single female was not ideal. Room cold and no extra blankets.
Size of the room, and away from the street (trams) and coffee/ tea maker in room. Walls needed re-painting and carpets needed replacing (stains)- even though this had been stated before on booking.com!! Contact email address for hotel, when I was delayed in London en route, not checked!
Attractively renovated hotel
Relaxed staff. Comfortable bed. Bath a bit small. Lacked character.
Excellent accommodation, good location to WEF and trams. It took too long to check out and because I was in a hurry I did not check the bill and I was overcharged for a breakfast i did not have.
Reception staff assistance and friendliness; good breakfast with reasonable variety and good cappucino, but expensive as most in The Hague; tea service in room. No in-house restaurant for dinner or for room service; hallway near elevators was very grubby with stains and old dirt; someone's hair on the clean bath towels. note: I recommend hotel for someone what wants quick stay in good place. I stayed 1 night because was moving house locally.
Staff was lovely (esp Tesa); inexplicable free upgrade to gorgeous room, 12 ft ceilings, plenty of space. Quiet, sleek eating room and lounge, perfect for working between meetings. Complimentary caffeine beverages all day. Just a wonderful spot - glad to have discovered it, will be back. Stay was too short.
Excellent place in one of the most beautiful areas of Den Haag.
clean, quiet, good service, good location
Staff was very friendly, espresso machine & fruit bowl always available. unreliable next-night laundry service could be a problem. Business travelers expect "in by 9, back that evening" service.
Very friendly staff, very comfortable room with luxury bed, good breakfast, everything well-designed and thought out.
I liked the staff who is very caring and always ready to help. I also liked the decoration and the design : this hotel is brand new and very modern. It looks like a hotel decorated by a famous designer, thats awesome. I didn't like the fact that you have no space in the room to put your clothes inside and the fact that the elevator is so slow.
Friendly and helpful staff
everything was perfect
Nice rooms in down town The Hague
The staff were helpful, breakfast was very good, and the bed was comfortable. We had a cot in our room for our son and the sheets smelled musty. We asked for fresh sheets which the staff took care of right away, but by the next day they smelled musty again. The mattress itself must have been the problem.
I liked that the hotel is situated so close to the shopping area and sightseeings.
Fine location, the best in the Hague in my view. Ease of access on tram line 1 and 17.
Location is excellent - exactly in The Hague city center. Elevator was broken twice for few hours each time
two single beds instead of one double
Location The rooms are basic very tired and scruffy - desparately needs rennovation. However, the city centre location makes up for it
Great central location and wonderful sitting outside on the terrace. Due to no airconditioning, we had to leave the window open, as it was great weather, but of course warm. Hence, it was very noisy all night long ... not due to traffic, but due to yelling/boisterous people seeming to be coming and going to a night club, or similar.
Nice classic hotel in right the middle of town with friendly and helpful staff.
Ideally situated in a central but quiet and pleasant area. Rooms well maintained daily, very nice buffet style breakfast.
the new room quality and decoration was excellent (room 206) breakfast was a little disappointing at 9am - scrambled eggs were finished, coffee was warm not hot
The room. The dealings with the staff.
The hotel's location is ideal- very close to the central points of the city and the staff are very helpful and courteous. The breakfast was extensive and delicious. The room service menu may need to be broadened, and given the great gym, a swimming pool would be a nice addition.
Staff very helpfull and make your stay very confortable and easy Nothing
Location No hair drier
I did not like anything particular. Bed sheets not clean. At breakfast quality of food was very low.
Modern clean room
Clean rooms, excellent service and good price, decent size rooms and good location
Good location. Close to everything. Too noisy. Need to have fans or air conditioning in the room so that windows do not need to be kept open.
Very neat hotel and courteous staff Nothing
The location in the middle of the main pedestrian and shopping area. Soundproof room and comfortable bed. Extra charge for wifi. The twin room was not available only the double bed.
Location and price Internet fee
This is a very friendly intimate little hotel in an excellent location in the center of the city. Exeptionally friendly and helpful staff, well-appointed -- if somewhat small -- rooms, excellent breakfast included. The hotel has recently undergone a complete make-over and is very tastefully deocrated. No lounge or public room, so after a full day, you must make do with the small chairs in your room if you want to sit and relax. This is, however, a minor complaint. This is a first-rate facility.
Excellent and helpful staff, tasteful design, small yet comfortable, location in the historic section of the inner city (including narrow streets) with pedestrian and public transport access to major points of interest.
Now all rooms are non-smoking; great. Comfort of room. In summer aircon is often necessary to sleep well at night in the Hague. Would be good if all rooms had it.
Superb hotel and facilities in a superb location
The staff was helpful and attentive to our needs. n/a
Style, polite service, delivered my expectations nothing
Large, well-equipped and comfortable room. Very friendly and efficient front-desk staff
The front desk staff were very friendly, and the room was spatious and beautifully decorated. The hotel location was very convenient; it was only a few hundred meters from my meeting. The breakfast buffet was an unpleasant surprise and not up the standard of the hotel. It would be fair to expect a choice of hot dishes. Teabags for the tea were kept in a container on the table that had been used for garbage by the previous guest and the waitress expected me to take a teabag from the same container - which I refused. The serving spoon of the yoghurt was flat, so after 4 scoops the bowl was still nearly empty.
Very polite, friendly, and helpful staff and management team. The noise from the nearby small cafe till 2:00 AM, if you were to leave the window open to cool off the room or get some fresh air
The hotel is a fantastic boutique hotel in the centre of Den Haag within easy walking distance of all the main shopping districts and nightlife. The rooms are beautifully finished and decorated and the staff are polite, attentive and willing to assist in anyway possible. Would recommend this hotel to anyone loooking for a break and wanting to stay somewhere unique.
Very friendly and helpful staff
Proximity to the old quarter of the city. Steep stairs and no lift.
It was really nice. Lovely room, nice stuff, clean: good hotel!
The location of the hotel is very central in the older downtown part of The Hague and thus very convenient for getting about. The refurbished interior of the lobby is good, it will be nice when they finish the rooms as well which they apparently are undertaking. This is a typical thing in Dutch buildings but man, the stairs are really steep! And if you are carrying a bag, well I would not recommend this for the infirm or elderly.
Talking about the facility, it is only a hostel, but the price is quite expensive, even more expensive than your price for a 4 stars hotel.
traditional and real dutch
We stayed in an apartment with a kitchen when we only expected a room. The hotel is being renovated and the shower stall was cramped
hotel was individual - had its own character. very convenient locataion
Nice small hotel with surprisingly modern and comfortable rooms. Very friendly and helpful staff. There's no internet in the room, only in the hotel lobby.
It was clean. I have never seen smaller room. Private bathroom means shared bathroom in this hotel - the description is not accurate. I asked about waking me up at 7 am. The hotel staff said ok - but nobody did it. No wonder if they appeared only at 7.15...
- Helpful night staff let me use the hotel computer to send e-mails when the Internet WiFi service didn't work. - Did not accept credit cards except AmEx. - No telephone service from room. - Internet WiFi service not working.
Excellent location, easy check in, free wifi
Clean and close to the city centre TV did not work. Matress was extremely hard
It is well located, and the rooms are clean. The fact that they make you to wait so they go and check your room (I guess for damages or missign property) before you can check out
Good location, quiet place with large clean and nice rooms Very poor English language skills from receptionist, Even though I'm from Serbia in invoice she written that I'm from Sierra Leone and ammount in EUR was 0!
Free access of internet which allow me to connect to my home town even though i am in a foreign country and the staff are very polite and attentive. The carpet of the room. It looks dirty even though it was clean.
The rooms were clean, quiet and comfortable The breakfast choice for the price, noodles and rice as the cooked option was not what one would expect. The checking of the room at check out.
In Chinatown in the city centre, quiet and all in all a good hotel with minor deficiencies Wireless only in the restaurant, not in the rooms. The second day of our stay no internet even with the cable. Used to be cheaper, at around € 70, now € 100 with the city tax for a twin room. Breakfast crap and certainly not worth the money
Staff. Room I was not able to pay using Mastercard; Visa or Maestro. Amex was available - I had to go out to get cash
staff, proximity to city centre noise during the nights (construction works nearby)
Nothing,possibly the staff. No comment!
the location the staff were a little rude and snappy
Very clean. Shared rooms ... but public is very nice.
Good, cheap place to stay in Den Haag. Must leave a deposit of some sort to get a key that allows you to enter the hostel past 1 am. No public kitchen facilities available.
I don't know if other rooms are the same. For my room, it is really hard to fall asleep near the railway.
There was no booking under my name from booking.com but the staff managed to give me a room at the same price that I made trough booking.com The noise from outside (tramway!!!)
nice staff !! juices at the morning
The breakfast Our room was very cold
Location near the train station was nice. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
Very nice staff, comfortable and clean rooms and a near safe parking place. There is no lift and it is difficult to take the luggage upstairs and the price should be lower.
location and the hotel was accessible during the day and night.
Youthful environment and the good relation price vs quality. The hotel is splitted up in 3 buildings. Need to go to through the street to get to the reception and to the breakfast room.
easy to find, reasonable price, comfortable.
nice atmosphere, nice room with all facilities I needed tram very nearby and wooden floors made some noice.
The staff were friendly and helpful in every way. Even though I was just a guest for one night, they made me feel welcome and that my stay was important to them. Everything was great!
Nice calm place to relax and enjoy the city, staff were helpful and the hotel provides good value for money nothin
Very helpful staff. Very clean rooms. Lovely square to look over. Recommended
The room was unusaual - high ceilings and nice style. nice tv as well. here was no info about the hotel services in my room, I had a feeling, that the floor I was staying was in the middle of some improvement. but I liked my room anyway!
The hotel is well located along the tram 17 line. I had a spacious room and it was quiet. The wifi worked well, and it was free which seems to be unusual in Holland. Compared with other places I've stayed in around The Hague this one was good value for money.
The hotel staff is nice! The location is far away from city center and the tram or bus transportation! We have searched for almost an hour to reach out to there. The local people has regarded this is the residential area.
personeel was erg vriendelijk!!
lovely breakfast buffet
Very small bed (for 2 persons). To hot in the room, could open window but noisy street in front of the hotel. People walking up or down the stairs at night makes a lot of sound (due to the iron stairs).
Free Wi-Fi. Rather good location in the city. The room was rather old, I mean the floor and the walls, so they were dirty.
Very central, 5 minutes walk to centre. Very peaceful area. Kind, helpful staff, nice breakfast, comfortable beds. Great retro hairdryer! Breakfast could have been a bit fresher. The pastries and rolls were a bit stale. I would have liked fresh fruit to be made available too.
The staff at Delta was especially helpful and warm. We loved the location - it is located in a wonderful centrally located neighborhood - and found the room to be an accurate depiction of the website description. While it was spartan and utilitarian it was very clean and comfortable.
In a nice and quiet location. Could do with a couple of minor repairs in the room but cosy&clean nonetheless That breakfast was extra
Excellent breakfast Friendly and helpful staff
we fetf very welcome no tea making facilties in the room
