Close to the office of Rohm and Haas. Comfortable bed. Dinner selection.
the pool is nice if a bit small i couldnt get the tv internet in my room to work. i asked reception and they said they'd send someone, but it never happened
Free Wi-Fi, pool, good breakfast, polite stuff The room was quite small for three people
Using Eurostar and arriving at Gare du Nord it was easy to transfer to Gare de Lyon Station which is right next door to this hotel. The Hotel was a 10 minute walk to The Palais du Omnisport where we had tickets for a concert - perferct. Breakfast not included, therefore slightly overpriced, and the breakfast was very expensive. Restaurant does not open until 7.00pm - too late for a meal before a concert.
Outstanding everything and love Americans Breakfast could've been better
very modern and clean hotel maybe a bigger pool food and drink overpriced
The included buffet breakfast was perfect for our family. Also, the indoor pool was clean and well-maintained. Nothing.
the pool not enough milk, tea bags etc in the room
the staff were fantastic and the size of the room and the beautiful bath only added to our enjoyment. The idea that you had no doorman or bellhop. At 65 yrs of age dragging four pieces of luggage to our room from the street was a chore
easy accsess to train and metro next to a down and out soup kitchen
Good location and quiet room Small bathroom
they upgraded us to Penthouse because no more standard twin rooms were available Rather far from city centre
Nothing spectacular, but does the job and is convenient for getting to the city.
Reception was professional and curteous Restaurant, waited for reservation, was seated at 9.30pm still waiting to have order taken at 10pm, left without eating.
Nichts Reception hopelessly under-staffed, staff does not speak English properly, guests noisy and cheap, the room just clean, if I do not count dust on tabs as dirt. Definetely not a hotel for business traveles and much too expensive. .
I was sent to have breakfast with the package holiday groupe , instead of having it at the breakfast area.
Size of room is huge, very spacious.
We only slept over two nights and didn't use any other services. Hotel is OK, nothing special but very good value for this hot deal. NO.
Easy to go into Paris on the bus. Shopping center nearby was excellent.
position and cleanliness
breakfast nothing else reception and rooms !
Very close to metro station; within 10 minutes in city center Not easy to find by car Bad parking facilities
The staff was very nice, the location is very good, no remarks! Poor sound isolation between bathroom and sleeping room
Very economical The smell of smoke in the room
Some members of the staff where a little rude when you arrive after midnight
Located right in front of the metro system
Very close to the metro station
Having booked on the internet and arriving by car, entry to the car park was complicated and difficult. Perhaps a note on your web site explaining this would help. Also you say you cater for disabled people and there is no way into the hotel where the car can be parked and a slope up to the hotel available.
I chose this hotel because of its ideal position for taking the through bus to CdG Airport not an easy access to hotel if coming by taxi - steps up from the busy road, not easy with heavy suitcases
very poor air conditionning system
Good location and friendly staff. Good parking garage en decent rooms. Difficult to find the parking garage.
Great location and very helpfull staff, clean and comfortable bedroom. No complaints with breakfast. Very small lift.
Clean, quiet hotel with friendly staff. Very small lift. It was difficult to find the parking place for my car.
Breakfast was great and the location was perfect. Very close to the B line so it made the trip to CDG very easy.
location was good, staff friendy quite basic facilities and small bathroom for price
I stayed here when I was in Paris for a short stay a few years ago. It was lovely and now the remodel has made it lovelier. Clean, neat as a pin and well-serviced. Thank you. Teeny room for three
Excellent staff, great location.
Clean facilities and friendly staff. We felt very welcome. Breakfast was good but nothing special.
Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel is well located close to a Maubert metro station and you can easily walk to Notre Dame Cathedral and Jadin du Luxembourg. Room and lift were tiny.
Location, room fairly large Bathroom too small & objects poorly located, only one chair for double room
bathroom too small, sauna and whirlpool did not work
the location cleanliness,small bathroom
The location of the hotel It was used and could need some renovation/cleaning by the staircases.
good located in town (Marais is beautiful) - nice young ambiance
close to metro and bus The hotel staff except a couple were not friendly. Most of the guests were not friendly, they were upper class people and looked at me and my family as if we did not belong there. The room was clean but did not worth 280 Euro a night.
Good size suite, very clean, facilities very smart, very helpful staff, good location. Would go back. Waiting for some time to check in.
Helpful staff. Large room by Paris standards. A little too far from a Metro stop
My husband and I stayed three nights at Les Jardins on our honeymoon. We were very happy with our stay there. The location is perfect. The neighborhood is very lively on the weekends, with lots of restaurants to try out. There is a metro stop half a block away which allows easy access to all of Paris. The courtyard garden is absolutely beautiful and relaxing. We loved our room that overlooked the garden and it was quiet enough in the neighborhood that we kept our windows open most of the time. Breakfast was a little expensive but had a good variety of things to choose from.
the hotel was modern and beautifully presented. The rooms were comfortable and it was a pleasant surprise to find cooking facilties fitted in. n/a
Good location and decor for the price. The air conditioning unit was very poor and badly situated - it was cumbersome and prevented proper closing of curtains. Breakfast service finished far too early and was far too expensive.
The luxury of the room and of the hotel also Petit dejeuner: buffet was too frequently not approvisioned
The location and fantastic courtyard. The fact that my doorkey did not work on 3 seperate occasions.
The space of the hotel in the triple room I stayed was great. The concierge staff were very helpful. I stayed in a block away from the main reception and luggage had to be dragged over cobbled stones. Also, I felt that the service staff at the cafe downstairs could be more attentive. We waited for 15 minutes for a menu that never came but other tables already got food and drinks. And when we asked, they said "It's coming!" which never did. We ended up on a cafe outside of the hotel.
cleanliness Noisy through the night
Friendly and helpful staff. There were cigarette burns on the bed cover and the carpet had not been properly hoovered.
nothing exceptional. It was the cheapest hotel we found at last minute and I wouldn't go back to the hote thoughl. The staff is yound and nice. Small rooms but were quite and clean. Location was fair as close to metro... The lift is too small and didnt feel safe and the breakfast room isnt comfort but kitchen staff were nice.... We have also been charged for the 2nd day breakfast although we missed it on last day..
Clean, simple no-nonsense hotel for a weekend in Paris - would consider returning again if the price is right Felt rather dated and not a great location or neighbourhood (there were lots of roadworks around at the time too)
It was ok. Location on the line 1 of the metro is very useful to go downtown. The staff is friendly and nice, very helpful. It should be renovated in some parts. The room a bit small.
The size of the room Hotel staff werent very friendly or willing to help besides the cleaning staff, the room was dirty there was visible marks on walls and all surfaces. The beds kept constantly falling apart every night, the room was like being in a time warp of the 1960's with original filthy green stained carpet. The blankets were old and most likely orignal as well. The bathroom leaked and had rusty dirty fittings and paint peeling everywhere, I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights and dirt and rubbish that was in the room when I arrived was still there when I checked out. I would strongly not recommend this hotel to anyone considering I paid the same per night elsewhere in Paris and recieved much better conditions and service.
Small and friendly The breakfasts were poor value
Best was nice and comfortable. The suite/family room sleeps four. One of the bed was a pullout couch which was full of bed bugs!! The full size bed was dirty and I feel like the sheets weren't changed because they were full of hair! We were able to switch rooms and the second room was okay.
The location, the room, the excellent service of the concierge who got us tickets on the same the day for a fully booked show.
actually this time nothing since room was not booked as requested(higher floor) out of two nights stay one complete day without hot water i am looking for compensation for the inconvinience caused since i have arrived at midnight on the first day of arrival and had to rush on the folloing day for shower before 10am as simply hot water will be cutted from 10 to 19.00 hrs?? the hotel require total renovation, being starwwod member i have asked for room upgrading with no success
Location Not value for money
I like it
Location Room service quick but astronomical prices for the quality of food. Bar staff incapable of making a descent cup of tea (got slightly coloured hot water). The hotel is badly in need of renovation.
Location near city centre; hotel staff's smiling faces.
I liked most the hospitality, and nice attitude of staff.
The staff that was very nice and helpful. The location is excellent, in the heart of the city. We upgrade the room to a much larger room. The price was a little too excessive for a regular room.
luxury and the breakfast was exellent. no
breakfast choice and quality not up to 4* standard. no shower curtain meant bathroom floor was constantly soaked.
The hotel staff was very fair in giving a lot of good informations about Paris and to book restaurants and to confirm our flights, etc. ; there are just a friendly atmosfere. it wasn't possible to do a good regulation of the room air condition.
Lack of identity of the hotel
Helpful staff. Good service. Lovely room Very expensive breakfasts. 29E for Continental and 35E for American!!
Reseption personnel, consierge. Breakfast service appalling, tables not cleaned. Slow service.
Great service and rooms. Well-designed.
Literally a minute from Champs Elysees. Complimentary breakfast; expected a little more than just breads, croissants, cup of fruit and juice.
We had a wonderful, six-day, Parisian experience at the Hotel de Sers, located in the elegant Champs Elysees district and very close to the metro and upscale restaurants. The staff was consistently helpful and accommodating in their efforts to obtain tickets, give restaurant recommendations, make reservations, call taxis, provide maps and directions, serve in the restaurant, etc. Upon arrival, we were allowed to check in early. This was much appreciated after many hours of overnight travel. Accolades for Fernanda at the reception desk as well as the concierge (I can not remember his name!) for providing outstanding service in a cordial, welcoming atmosphere. Our room was not spacious, however, comfortable, quiet and spotlessly clean. Would recommend taking advantage of a room rate that includes at least a continental breakfast, as the breakfasts are very costly.
Wonderful experience and very polite staff. Definite recommendation if you want to spend a deluxe weekend in Paris. Minibar was not very complete
The location was very good. It was definitely not a luxury hotel. Room was directly over the hotel courtyard that had been converted to a banquet facility and was extremely noisy. Fitness center had only one treadmill and one piece of equipment. Beds and pillows were not very comfortable.
It is in a great location for shopping and sightseeing in paris. The rooms are small by australian standards, but good by european standards.
very comfortable and beautiful. staff was very accomodating!
Friendly stuff. The bed was extremely firm and therefore very uncomfortable. There was a constant noise from the drain, placed just outside the bedroom window, which was very annoying. The hotel felt very impersonal, lacked atmosphere.
We know this hotel since more than 10 years and have been staying there for at least four times. It is a lovely hotel and we'll choose it for our next stay in Paris. No, nothing indeed
Excelente hotel. If you want to be close to Metro and in a good location, close to everything. Here is the place. Nothing, really. It was a very good stay.
friendly staff, good location very noisy
We lived on the 8th floor of the hotel, and the elevator broke down twice. We had to carry our baby and stroller the eight floors up twice. Two members of staff were downright rude and non-accomodating to this inconvenience. However, Christina and one other man were very nice and helpful and understanding. Part from the elevator mishaps, it was quite a nice hotel, and the eight floor rooms have a great view of Paris.
the deco of the hotel was very pleasing and it was very clean. on arrival there was no record of our reservation. we recieved no apologies and were told we were lucky they had a twin room. we had booked a double and i had our reservation refrence as proof! the room was very small and in a very poor part of town i did not feel at ease. we made reservations with and different hotel and checked out the next day. upon checking out the hotel staff were quite rude complaining this is not the way to do business. i replyed that as i was on holiday to celebrate my 1st wedding anniversary and only for 5 days i was deeply unhappy with the service recieved and this had cut down my holiday time by 1 day. still no apologie! i would not recomend this hotel for a sight seeing holiday in paris as the location is also quite a distance from the attractions.
The location was very good and well served by public transport. The room was clean but vastly overpriced for what it was. I was forced to take something as Paris seemed to be very full that weekend. The value for money was extremely poor.
It was ok, clean and with a good bed. The public areas were very ordinary, and some of the staff, (male) were not particularly pleasant.
it was next to the metro station
Location, nice atmosphere On the expensive side
Great location ......just a short walk from some fantastic places of great interest. Buzzing cafe night life right on the doorstep too....good atmosphere in the hotel... It seemed expensive and the quality failed to match the expense....certainly for a pound based UK visitor. There was a shortage of helpful welcoming staff....particularly at reception where you face an unacceptable wait. Irritating.
The best about hte hotel is its location - just next to the Louvre, between two squares, walking distance to everything I wanted to visit (never took a taxi or any other kind of transport). The receptionists were English-speaking and nice and helpful. The room was spacey (stayed in a junior suit), as well as the bathroom, cosy and clean. In fact, everything in the room, as well as the service, could be compared to a 5* hotel (including the cosmetics in the bathroom). Plus, the free WiFi is a nice addition to all. The hall and the corridors need renewing - the first impression of the hotel lowers ones expectations because of the old and a bit dirty common spaces in the hotel. Another thing, is that the air-conditioning was poorly working and it was a bit hot, but I just turned it off and opened the windows from time to time. Also, unpleasant surprice was the thinnes of the walls - I could hear every slam of a door and footsteps, however, no one really made noise, so I slept like a baby. One more thing about noise is that the windows of my room overlooked an inner yard and when opening the window there was a bussying sound from the air-conditioning or other machines. Overall, these were quite minor problems and didn't spoil my stay in the least!
The worst hotel Old smelly rooms , bad carpet dirty, wood very bad
Great traditional typical parisian 4* hotel. Excellent location. Wanted 100 euros to stay until 1:00pm for check-out. Offered me 12 noon free.
Concierge services are exceptional - special thanks to Eric, Remy, Magaly.
Excellent location, helpful staff, clean rooms, large and light bathrooms, really french atmosphere, close to most of the sightseeings and fashion boutiques. The decoration of rooms is a bit tired, but this is a problem of the most of the hotels in the centre of Paris.
The quality of the rooms, decoration, and space are far far less than shown in the pictures and indicated in the hotel desciption.
Location and comfort.
The welcoming and very helpful staff, cleanliness of rooms, and above all, the excellent location. The room service was poor. We had a baby and we used to order warm milk twice a day. They gave us hot milk one day, watered down the other, cold another, and so on, even though every day we asked for a glass of warm milk. I guess it all depends on who is on the shift.
O.K., I know its owned by Hyatt but It still felt boutiquey and small with a personal touch (as if not owned by Hyatt). The staff focused on attentive service, from the front desk, to room service, etc. Its clearly part of the staff culture. There is an intimate feel as if they all know each other--and everything about you. When I spoke to one front desk person they know a discussion I had with another the day before. The Concierge was amazing and made recommendations and the actual reservations and when things were not available made good judgments on his own for changes. We felt like they know us and were watching out for us. It is not that big really which helps in this case. The rooms felt well maintained with a terrific balance of old world and new. Highly Recommended!!!!
Staff were superior and very helpful. The dining room was too hot. Food was okay, but I had to ask for some eggs to be made as the dish was empty at 9.30 and then had to wait 10 minutes for them.
The location seems to be close enough to the cool stuff like shopping, the louvre, moulin rouge, it was the perfect stay for us. Only a block from the metro and city bikes. The front desk was outstanding and the breakfast was complete and great. We booked last minute at an incredible rate and totally beat out the airbnb we stayed in the same area. It had AC, wifi was great, breakfast was filling, and staff was great. Nothing.
The location is excellent, very close to the metro sation the room was a bit small, but no problem
I like the room and the location of the hotel, I mean it was near the metro station for this price, nothing specialy
I liked the fact that the room was somewhere inside the hotel and you had a little garden in front of the room. Because of this, it was quiet at night which is a good thing after a day of walking through Paris. I also loved the breakfast which besides tea and coffee as we had at a different hotel I stayed in the same period, it had also some meat, cheese and a few sorts of bread (it was also included in the price). So, it was more than OK. Finally I loved the little heater from our room which being October proved to be quite useful. If I ever go back to Paris I will choose this hotel again because the metro station is very close to it. The only thing I didn't like was an old French woman from the reception, I mean you could see that she was probably the only French woman there and that she was trying to be as arrogant as she could be. But, finally it was fun.
Only location Rooms are very small. I Booked comfort double Room But it was difficult to Move Inside the Room. If i would have a chance to See the Rooms before booking, i would Not go for this Hotel.
I liked Service, Cleanliness of my room and very communicable personal noisy neighbors
Hotel staff and cleanliness
Near public transport
The owner and his son is very kind and helpful, location is perfect. no.
very near by a metro station. The size of the room was ok, and it was clean! Although a bit expensive, ( 8.5 euros) the braekfast was very good! i would just recommend to have an extra toilet paper in the bathroom
Hotel located in an inexpensive area, near subway. There are a lot of restaurants and small deli shops open till late night. Room was small, dirty, noisy and overheated. The only window leaded to an extremely noisy street. Bed was too hard. No toilet paper.
Location near central Paris and cost of room The noise coming from other rooms
Very near Metro station, bilingual staff, no problems
the location and staff were good the superior room was very small, cold, and the lift micro
A good budget hotel, basic but clean and comfortable, with friendly and polite staff. Excellent location, on a side street only 100m from nearest metro station; also only one block away from 26 bus route direct to Gare du Nord (40 mins). Close to restaurants, pharmacie, supermarket. Quiet street. Public parking right in front of the hotel. Thin walls. You can hear people walking in corridor. Тонкие стены. Очень хорошо слышно происходящее в коридоре. Зависит от соседей.
Only the price that is low, but in the neighbourhood offer better comfort for almost same price. Mainly the hotel personal does not speak any other language than French, and if so, than it si no willing to speak other language than French. Mess is allaround especially in public area of the hotel, the worst is the courtyard.
Staff were helpful and location to Metro was very good. Hotel was quiet from road noise A little run down, but unusually so for Paris. Internal hotel noise was not great but very bearable
conveniently located near metro unconveniently changing shower temperature and water pressure; no WIFI in room; hotel was going through renovations which made some noise (eg drilling next to our room at 9am)
Proximity to metro Wi-fi connection functions only in the lobby
the price was incredibly high for a hotel like that!!!we were so disappointed, l'petit dejeuner was too unpleasent pour le prix.
The reasonable price and friendly staff. The hotel is conveniently located within 500 meters of the metro, shops and cafes/bostros and restaurants. Can be noisy if room is located close to the lifts. No tea/cofee making facilities.
The Hotel was very good would stay again No
Location! This hotel is located right on top of one of the major metro stations, which made getting around the city super convenient. Room quality, amenities, and service weren't quite as great as other luxury hotel brands, but were still far above average. Aside from a minor screw-up at check-in, I had no complaints. Noise. Being situated on such a main thoroughfare, you get a lot of street noise, even at night. HVAC. Our room was always hot! We had to crack the window just to keep it comfortable, especially at night while trying to sleep.
Hotel was well placed and Metro close by, Good quality for the money paid Rooms are a bit on the small side and expensive to eat or drink in the hotel
Very nice and clean hotel.Helpful and friendly staff.Good location.
Well decorated, the rooms looked nice. In this case the location was very convenient Air Conditioner didn't work TV did't work The wireless internet would drop out for several hours at a time The pillows were very thick and very hard... not suitable for sleeping
The location was excellent with good food in the hotel's restaurant and many good restaurants next door to hotel
location was excellent, twenty minute walk or quick metro ride to Seine and Notre Dame.Metro station two minutes walk away. good view from room onto square with view of Eiffel Tower in distance. Well proportioned room, friendly and helpful staff.excellent choice of restaurants and bars in vicinity.
Location, easy access to city centre, museums and shops. Nice view over the place de la rebublique. Small room
location and professional staff concierge was very helpful no free wi-fi (most hotels it is free) hard to control temperature in the room room service is too slow
we were in a great location, the staff were very helpful with anything we asked for and the rooms were so clean and comfortable
Great location, very family friendly and comfortable.
I arrived at 10 pm . there was no room for me !!! as alternative and as no other options they let me stay in a very poor room - (hotel staff room) I asked for a full credit for this nigth and the promised to apply and credit me
The team is really kind and helpful. The hotel offers many kind of tourist guides. It's really close to the Metro station (Charonne and Rue de Boulets). You can find easily around: banks, restaurants, internet. They offer WIFI that works perfectly. The room is small.
Location. Rooms are quite small.
Close to the metro station - Rue de Boullets and Charonne. Quiet area. Friendly staff. The room was very very very small and the bathroom too. The bed was very small and uncomfortable. Very noisy and not so clean. The maid room cleaned our room, but it was useless because the furniture is old. Lot of dust o the furniture.
only breakfast the room is very very small
Good location, small price the room was rather small and the smell in the room was not so fresh (guessing it´s from the old and dirty carpet)
Friendly and helpful staff Comfortable bed Excellent choice for breakfast
Breakfast You can hear everything in other rooms
Hotel was within walking distance to workshop venue, but with easy access to city centre via Metro. Good breakfast.
Great value for money and superb location! bed was a little small
Very excellent!! Nothing
Front desk staff were helpful, intelligent and professional with a great sense of humour. Room was spacious, modern yet tastefully decorated and extremely comfortable for a weary business traveller.
Lobby beautiful, great rooms, staff very helpful and accommodating, food and drinks excellent. Exquisitely updated and decorated. Excellent value for the money. Would recommend without hesitation.. .
rooms extreamly small, tv charge was not expecting very expensive
location, and comfort size of hotel
Location, convenience and staff were very accommodating No
The hospitality is more than George V.
Close to centre with bus stop close by
Comfort of beds, friendly staff, location to Eiffel Tower and Champs Elysee Not one!
The view of the Eiffel Tower was worth the cost of the hotel. The furniture was a little shabby for the price of the room.
Very clean and modern hotel with above average room size for Paris. A block away from the Eiffel Tower!
Location n view of eiffel
The whole experience was excellent -- I was very impressed. Staff were unfailingly attentive, the dinner excellent, the breakfast full of available variety. The view of the tower from the balcony impressed my grand-daughter!I am not all that easily pleased, so not inclined to easily give high ratings, but I have to say that every aspect of the stay was excellent. Nothing.
Location & friendlyness. Location & friendlyness.
The location and the hotel staff
Staff was rude and unaccommodating. Rooms were not available at the checkin time and staff repeatedly instructed patrons to come back every hour which ruined a day of travel. Wouldn't recommend for vacation travelers.
Very helpful and courteous staff. The hotel is in need of refurbishment. It will be very difficult to remain classified as **** unless this is done very soon. The 'free' wi-fi is very slow in the rooms.
the breakfast buffet was incredible. Great variety, amount and quality. We also loved that the staff controlled entry to the buffet area so everyone got seated nicely and it kept the start of the mornings pleasant. The free Wi-Fi they offer is a bit too slow to do much, so it is almost necessary to buy the upgrade for 22 Euros/day they offer.
Location was near the Eiffel tower and public transportation. Restaurants nearby. Rooms did not have any drawer storage for clothes, There was room for 2 night stands yet there was only one. Paint color in rooms and hall was depressive,
The hotel room is so spacious and comfortable. The location is so close to Eiffel Tower. None
The close proximity to both the Metro and Eiffel Tower, River Seine were the only plusses. The room was spacious, but even thought tea/coffee sachets were supplied, there were no cups. We asked 3 times before cups were provided, then the cups were not replaced on the following day. In addition, toilet paper was not replenished and we asked but without success. The bathroom floor had not been cleaned and there were large strands of hair in the toilet on arrival. All in all, housekeeping left alot to be desired.
