It’s a big week for travel fans in Hong Kong, with the KAYAK app and website now available, AND the chance to win free round trip flights abroad. Help us celebrate the arrival of KAYAK by taking part in our Stick and Snap competition. Along with the grand prize of free flights abroad, we’re also offering 50 runner-up prizes of limited edition KAYAK gear.
It’s not just free, it’s also fun. Simply grab a KAYAK luggage sticker from our designated distribution points, STICK it to your travel bag or suitcase, SNAP a picture with it, then share it on Facebook with the hashtag #KAYAKExplorer. Don’t forget to make it public so everyone can see it. This is essential as the owner of the picture with the most ‘Likes’ on Facebook will be the lucky recipient of those free flights abroad.
Pictures tagged and uploaded to Facebook between the 15th of April and 3rd of May 2015 will be in the running, so get creative! Keep a look out for our street team to collect your free luggage stickers and get started on your entry.
The KAYAK Stick and Snap team will be handing out the stickers, together with a limited quantity of selfie sticks, at the following times and locations each day from Wednesday 15 April to Saturday 18 April 2015:
- Mong Kok (Refer to map here) – The team will be here from 9am-2pm and 6-8pm Wednesday-Friday, and 1-8pm on Saturday
- Tsim Sha Tsui (Refer to map here) – The team will be here from 9am-2pm and 6-8pm Wednesday-Friday, and 1-8pm on Saturday
- Causeway Bay (Refer to map here) – The team will be here from 9am-2pm and 6-8pm Wednesday-Friday, and 1-8pm on Saturday

KAYAK Stick and Snap Contest Rules
- This competition is run by KAYAK Software Singapore Pte Ltd (“KAYAK”), with registered offices at Unit 1615-20, Level 16, Tower II, Grand Century Place,193 Prince Edward Road West, Mongkok, Kowloon. Hong Kong.
- Participants must be residents of Hong Kong and at least 18 years of age. Participants must not be affiliated to KAYAK or its local PR agency. Only persons in possession of an original KAYAK Stick and Snap Contest sticker can participate in the contest.
- To participate, you must 1) stick the KAYAK sticker anywhere on your luggage, 2) take a selfie with the luggage showing the KAYAK sticker, and 3) post the picture to your Facebook page with the hashtag #KAYAKExplorer, 4) make the picture “public” so KAYAK can access it. Pictures that do not have the proper hashtag or that are not set to “public” will not qualify for the contest.
- No purchase or payment is necessary to participate in this competition.
- The contest will end on 3 May 2015, at 12:00 (noon) Hong Kong time. The picture with the most “Likes” at that time will win the grand prize of two round-trip tickets in economy class from Hong Kong to a destination abroad for a departure date not later than 31.12.2015 and for a total value including taxes and fees of maximum HK$31,000. The next 50 runner-ups will win a KAYAK gift set. In case several participants have the same number of “Likes”, KAYAK will determine the winner in its sole discretion based on the quality of the pictures. Multiple entries are allowed, but only one prize will be awarded per participant. All prizes are not transferable or exchangeable. No cash alternative is available for any prize. Prizes are supplied “as is” and “as available” with no express guarantee as to their suitability. Tickets may be provided by StudentUniverse, a KAYAK Partner. StudentUniverse will book the flights for the winner. The flights must be operated by one airline only, code shares are not allowed
- The winners will be publicly announced on Facebook.com/KAYAK.Hongkong and you agree to such publication of your name by entering the contest. The winner must confirm acceptance of the prize within fourteen (14) days of notification, otherwise, KAYAK reserves the right to award the prize to an alternative winner from the remaining eligible entries at its sole discretion and the exercise of this right shall be final and will not be explained
- By entering this contest, you give KAYAK, its respective parent and affiliated companies and its representatives, the right and irrevocable license to use, reproduce, disseminate, publish, distribute, represent publically, edit and modify the pictures submitted in this contest around the world and in perpetuity, with no remuneration whatsoever and, where appropriate, for all purposes related to KAYAK’s activities, including but not limited to dissemination through various media, namely the Facebook page of KAYAK.
