KAYAK is ever expanding and we recently announced the opening of another office in Miami which was very exciting indeed! Not as exciting, however, as it is to welcome Hong Kong to the family, where we will be opening our eighth office internationally. Our newest regional hub will be exclusively in service to our growing Asia-Pacific (APAC) business.

KAYAK operates 12 sites in APAC (Hong Kong, Korea, Japan, Taiwan, China, Singapore, India, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Australia, and New Zealand) and business is growing hand over fist.

Which isn’t surprising because research has shown that travellers in APAC love spending  time planning travel and plotting holidays – in fact, travellers in Hong Kong are spending 44% more time on travel planning than they were 10 years ago.

So, we’re doubling down and opening up a regional hub to fuel our growth and introduce as many travellers as we can to KAYAK.

Why Hong Kong? When our top execs asked team APAC where they wanted to be headquartered, they chose Hong Kong for its talent pool, entrepreneurial vibe and close proximity to other KAYAK key markets in the region.

Our office space is in Central – which is a hotbed for innovation and full of tech start-ups, making it a great place for us to put down roots.
